✓ Exceptional game F2P friendly sort ofI’ve been playing for a few weeks now and though it does have a pay to win aspect or two its still F2P friendly, I have spent money on the chess pass to support the developers because it’s totally ad free at least for me even before paying money. I really appreciate a solid game that’s ad free and still F2P friendly. My only negative comment would be making any cash purchases a little less advantageous in a match setting even if it only unlocked the insane match type.Version: 14.0.0

✓ Enjoyable but…I have been playing this game off and on for a while, and I mostly enjoy it, but recent changes have made it really annoying. Three beefs: 1. The coins needed to upgrade equipment? That’s new and I hate it. Why don’t you just go back to gold? That’s the way it used to be and even though it was expensive it made sense. 2. The gems needed to break through. What is the thinking behind this? Why create a mechanism to force someone to play weird, meaningless mini games. 3. The combo bonuses have gotten kind of vague. ✓ Can’t believe how much I love this game!This game is addictive to start it off. I originally got this game for the black hole game ad. The one that says something about having a lizard brain and while that game is all fun. The real draw to this game is the Chess+Yu-Gi-Oh styled gameplay. You constantly have something to keep you invested and I really like that. Give me a reason to comeback and fight other people, play the narrative story or rescue a dog from bees. Woah this realm really has a problem with the bee vs dog conflict, seems like a hate crime. The one piece of constructive criticism I have is this, give us more time for the black hole game. ✓ Great game but time demandingI like this game a lot. But problem is that there is no turn ending button and I just have to wait the clock ticking after I make my all decision. Sometimes the time is not enough but they should make the turn end key. So at least it would reduce some play time. 1 game takes about 15 minutes. It is way too slow of an advancement. Also server just crashed again. The game does not load. They have server issues in the game and too start the game. I dont know what they are doing during the maintenance period. It crashes a lot. ✓ Good but frustratingI really really enjoy playing this game and it would definitely be a 5* if the game didn’t keep lagging out. Whenever I’m in the middle of a game it glitches out and closes the game. This happens every single time and when I open it up again the round has automatically lost even if I was a higher level. I have noticed some bugs, one of which of the rewards of moving up in ranked matched, I’m in rook 8 and the game is saying move to knight 2 for rewards which it’s 15 levels below me. Getting into the actual game you can tell that it’s far more polished than the ads give it credit for with token glimpses of the game as the ad looks which I believe is for not being falsely marketed… it’s a great time and my only other gripe is that while only ending my runs about half the time the game seems to send me back to my phones Home Screen and I may have to relaunch the game to finish a match. And it’s always toward the end making it a make or break for the victory. Aside from that check out how cool the characters are in here starting in like a bar brawl with all their own synergies and abilities. They can be kinda querky at first but once you get the hang of it it’s a good time for those who like puzzles and strategy games. I’ve seen 2 game modes, where you have people moving around a small map and you gain cards to level them up, and a short game with minions that run down lane. I haven’t seen the advertised towers and stick figures where you do the math and run with it. That’s what I was originally looking for and I haven’t seen it yet. ✓ Addictive(Update) There is one major problem with the game - the power values are meaningless as a way of judging whether you'll beat an opponent or not. You can have twice the power level and still lose. The new maze levels are the worst offender of this - in fact they seem broken. The farther you get, the more you need to FAR surpass the opponent power level (more than twice as much) in order to win. Why have such an important number if it barely means anything? (End of update) A lot of similarities to their previous game Mighty Party, including all the characters art and audio. Gameplay has some things the same, but the core mechanics are different. The main thing I don't really like is the cheesy marketing of the mini-game (which you rarely see, though it is actually kinda fun) to attract players. Why? Why include a mini-game like that that looks nothing like the main game and use it to advertise the game which already has decent graphics and gameplay? It just feels cheap. Plus there are a lot of screens pushing you to buy premium content. Almost every time I lose a match it’s not because my heroes were weaker, its because the opponents warlord special power could not be overcome. There are many different types you’ll face but one I see a lot will freeze your entire team multiple times a round while their team pounds on you. Matches are short, straight forward, but not lacking the strategy and thrills of bigger titles. IAP prices are absurdly expensive. However, the game is extremely generous. Most importantly since you don’t have to come in 1st to win, you can come in 2nd to a p2w player and still rank up. ✓ Great entry in the genreIf you like the auto chess genre this one is fun and engaging. There are lots of different game modes within the title that usually grant resources to make your units stronger. These are usually against the AI as a story or an event. But there is also a tournament mode that seems to genuinely only set you against other humans. Hard to imagine there are no bots in the main game mode, however. It’s kind of hard to tell. If your minis are leveled up to the rung of the growth ladder you’ve reached, you will do fine using strategy against most opponents. The pool of units is immense. This is so much the case that the game doesn’t allow you to use many of the factions when you start. Many units are locked until events are completed as well. So collectors have a lot to work with. ✓ RNGThe character choice randomization is needed. However, once you have chosen your fighters and their corresponding factions the rest of the characters that later become available are rarely a color besides grey and/or a matching faction. Makes us feel like the game is pure RNG. Another occurrence in the game is when you spend inmatch coins to change the current selection, the next group of options can be far worse then the fighters you’ve already chosen, and if you continue to spend it make you as a gamer feel like its a waste of time and pure RNG. I honestly think they need a the slightest tweak so that the game feels more skillful. I personally am pretty high in rank and love this game and have lost many matches simply because I was stuck with the characters I had on board. Never being able to upgrade them past three stars. ✓ Love it but issues.Off the bat. Love the game. I do t experience the crashing issues other players have talked about. Hero’s do drop at a chance but I can get around that. I don’t agree with the if someone wins three ina row they will dominate cause that’s been me and I still lost. I got lucky and on many occasion I have worked my way from the bottom to win. Not easy. But it can be done. My issue is with events. Having to use a certain hero in matches. That hero will barely drop and not enough to get one to three tasks done. But when the event is over drops Like crazy. I personally love the insane mode. I think you have to pay for it. But it’s so much fun it’s worth it. Insane mode should have a ranking or should effect your pvp ranking. Cause well, it’s pvp. Change that and change the event dropping of heroes needed. Maybe also. Make a change to when certain factions are needed for the events. Give those factions a buff. The factions needed don’t always help people win. The number of lags and crashes has actually gotten worse over time, despite near weekly updates. It really is getting annoying, especially in things like the dungeon where you have limited attempts, and the game crashes, you make no progress and lose an attempt. ✓ Great game!!Yes, there is a “pay to win” feature. But what games doesn’t? Leveling up is fairly easy. So you lose a few battles. If the game was too easy it would be boring. If you want easy go play one of coloring or word search games. If you grind it out you will level up. ( IFY level up the 1 or 2 stars characters too. A mistake I made early on). If you do ALL of the game things you will get all the resources you need. It just takes time. But the artwork is incredible. And the animation is very very is well done. Give it a try. Update: If you give this game a chance try it for a few days. If you like it, spend the $5.00 to get the auto feature on the journey portion of the game. Totally worth. You will level up very quickly. The only negative thing I can say is I wish I had a bit more time to choose my characters. Many times I need a few more seconds to decide and the next round starts. There is only one thing I have never been able to understand.. why doesn’t it allow you to play with friends in some sort of local game?! Or multiplayer mode in which you can invite a friend or more? I would totally get all my friends on this to play with me if this was available in the game..Version: 5.0.11
✓ Fantastic GameHonestly I can’t really say anything bad about this game. I download a lot of games which get deleted within days or weeks, it is very rare to find an engaging, different and purely entertaining game. Unlike so many other games, you don’t have to watch loads of adds just to actually play the game, in fact there are no adds! The game plays super smooth and is updated regularly to balance it and fix bugs. I would think some may get bored of the typical “play to level to play more” but the tactics and strategy involved keep it fresh enough to not get bored The only thing I would want to change is to have slightly faster games. Currently to win a game takes on average about 15 mins, if this was reduced by even 5 mins would make this totally perfect! My advice would be to give this game a go and try not to get hooked.Version: 8.0.15
✓ Great game but...This has to be one of the most addictive games I’ve ever played. It’s great for f2p players like me, as it’s easy to get heroes with just summoning and other stuff. The gameplay is just amazing and yes, it’s luck based but you also need some skill to find the best heroes possible. But, as all games, there’s a problem. Well, there’s 2 major problems. Firstly, the game crashes a lot, and when I say a lot, I mean a lot. Sometimes I crash twice every match. I was in a game that I was about to win and guess what? The game crashed, I lost the match and didn’t get any rewards. The other issue or problem is the matchmaking. I’ve been put up against players who have plenty legendary heroes at like level 10 meanwhile I have 1 at level 9. It’s just so unfair sometimes as if the best players gets into like a 3 winstreak, he will dominate the rest of the match with ease. If the devs ever fix one or both issues, I will rewrite this comment and give it 5*, as it’s one of the best games I’ve ever tried. Thanks for reading!.Version: 3.0.11

✓ Enjoyable Game! Pics or not real.I honestly love the game. It is something to pass the time with. Similar to other chess games and the character artwork is really appealing. I would change the the preview pictures though! Honestly not what the whole game is like. I personally like to play against other players but the preview is a storymode that was recently added.
