✓ GreatAll dating apps seem to advertise themselves by saying that they’re better than other apps and try to guarantee that they will get it right, then if you get the apps they are just an exact copy, but Boo actually does have different features that make it easier to find someone right for you. I love the personality test as I enjoyed doing it myself and found my result very accurate. I also think it is a really interesting way to understand what someone may be like as they have taken a quiz themselves to get that personality type. You are also really encouraged on Boo to answer fun questions about yourself and give more of an idea about your personality and who you are so there are no accounts left bare..Version: 1.13.35
✓ Great app, but needs a couple featuresI’ve had the app for around a week or so now, and while I have enjoyed scrolling through and figuring out the app, I have thus far been unable to message anyone due to my phone having a messed up screen on the right side and being unable to press the button to send a message. This is making it so that I am unable to speak with anyone I have matched with to make friends or build a deeper connection. I think it would be a great idea if they could either make the button to send a message larger OR make it so that we can turn our phones to the side and use the app in landscape mode for those of us that need or prefer it. Or maybe even be able to use our phones upside down to use the app. I understand that this would probably take time, but would greatly help those of us that may not be able to fix our phones right away or get a new one. ✓ Honestly Should Be Considered a Social Media AppThe App is way more than just a dating app. It’s a complete personality test coupled with a dating app and a dash of twitter. Probably one of the most unique apps ever. As a professional programmer this is something that should be gaining more traction. I’m not sure how well the algorithm is implemented but with the amount of data the app collects through accredited personality test I can’t imagine it’s worst than Tinder. It’s community is really friendly. I haven’t seen a lot of accounts that look like bots but I wouldn’t be surprised to see catfish on the app. A verification process would be a good way to seal the deal. Overall it’s super underrated. I kinda wish the community could stay small but I also want this app to thrive so go ahead and download it and give it a shot. I was about to delete the app when I received a message from someone asking me about my hobbies and such, which was a nice change of pace from the other responses. We eventually started talking on Snapchat, and called one another. I was really awkward but started to open up a bit over time. We finally decided to meet each other, and even in person we are exactly the same, and where we aren’t, we’re what complements each other. It’s been a rollercoaster for the both of us, navigating how in the world an app actually made the most amazing compatible match. If you’re debating on whether to give this a shot— please, do so. I promise you, I’ve tried them all when I WAS looking, and got nowhere close to the genuine connections I made through this app, when I WASN'T looking. Even friends I’ve made off of this app, our connection is so much better. ✓ Decent appI downloaded the app from an ad saw, and I really find it unique in its own sense. It has the potential to be very good. The main problem with it at this point is the lack of users in certain areas I believe I only found five people within a 30 mile radius. The ad I saw was for the app to focus more on your personality rather than your looks. I did enjoy the test that they gave to match with people that would be attracted to that personality. However, I wish they did something similar to jigsaw, where the more you converse, the more of their profile opens up to you and the profile picture will open up completely after you’ve sent enough messages. I feel like the app is still really focused on looks but you do have to do a verification to even get to the swiping stage to make sure you’re not Catfishing which I really appreciate it. ✓ Decent dating appFrom my experience so far, Boo is pretty straightforward with the selection of personalities you can choose to filter in your search, and it gives you an opportunity to take one of those MBTI tests giving you a general overview of what you’re like and what the person may be like as well, and lets you know if there’s potential between you two. I also like that you can put a short bio on your profile, kinda giving people a preface of what your expectations are, and can see what interests you have in common with the person you’re trying to match with. You get to see their age, if they work, education, and even location, which are nice things to know. In a previous review I wrote months ago, they didn’t have ethnicity filters, but now they do! Thank you for implementing this. I haven’t used this app in months, so I’m looking forward to getting back into it. Setting up the profile was interesting and time consuming so you have time to think about everything rather than just making a 30 second profile and it being incredibly cringey from others’ perspectives. With it’s personality test and extensive set of tags you can show off exactly who you are and what you like on your profile. The filters are much more detailed than your standard age and distance ones. Such as leaving all Capricorns out of swiping pool. I met my boyfriend on the app a little over a month ago and now I couldn’t imagine my life without him. Our personalities mesh so well that it’s almost as if I can’t argue with him because it’s like I’m arguing with myself. ✓ Boo Dating AppI love how Boo gives you so much opportunity to actually know some things about the people you see before you choose to match with them or not. They give you a personality test as a part of profile setup and they tell you personalities you may match with or may have trouble matching with or probably will clash with. They also give you easy options to provide additional insight into yourself, like three prompts you choose and answer that are displayed on your profile for others to answer. I also really like how the profiles are displayed. On Tinder I often accidentally decline profiles while just trying to see more pictures, and it’s annoying to have to click into the profile to see all the information, but Boo puts it all right there in an easy setup. You can also make community posts and comments to posts, and you can easily see what people have posted, and that makes it seem so much more open and personable. They even have a Question of the Day feature where everyone can come and answer the same question and interact with each other without having to pay any extra fees. I know you don’t need to pay anything to comment on community posts, but I haven’t tried to make a post myself, yet, so I am unaware on that one..Version: 1.13.34

It's not normal to swipe for hours on end and never run out of pretty faces. Tinder or Bumble will feed you dead or unverified accounts that are popular swipe-farms for the algorithm, but not ACTUALLY PEOPLE WHO CURRENTLY USE THE APP. If you get on Boo, it might take an initial adjustment, but after a while you're going to be very glad you did. That authenticity is comforting after years of being on apps that encourage the opposite. ✓ A Quality Dating AppThis app is very unique. It has a great feel and user-experience. Aesthetically it looks futuristic. The free version has very minimal ads, in comparison to some other dating app that throw billions of ads at you way too often that trash the experience. If you aren’t a crazy attractive guy, it will be difficult matching, as is the same with all apps. Many of us are too superficial, swiping on someone by just glancing at their face for less than a second. In that case, it’s best to message those you are interested in to spin up some attention with a laugh, etc, vrs your face (I know that’s harsh). Boo let’s you message roughly 30-40 people for free with “coins”. ✓ It’s been awhileIt’s very in-depth but I only had one match. Which didn’t even respond. There’s some people who aren’t even looking for anything, and you can DM directly which is great but for women. The guy side doesn’t receive messages much. They get hearts or likes which is saying I’m okay to match but the search system I think is too in depth? OR the default search settings are not just near your location. When I was worldwide I was getting a few. The minute I put it to a radius it stopped INSTANTLY. My bio is pretty out there I feel, I took every test and put every info I could. The premium is probably nice but don’t need it but I would probably recommend if you plan on using long term. The coins are nice for free people, with options but most of that isn’t gonna happen or costs gold to make gold back. I don’t know kinda backwards to me.
