The Body Coach Workout Planner for Positive User Reviews

Good startHaving followed the 90 day plan I moved onto this instead of doing the grad plan . There are 3 levels and I chose advanced, there’s a good amount of effort needed and I love the way it pushes you . The introduction of the live bootcamp in January was a great idea & gives a lot more content if you get a bit tiresome of doing the same workouts every week for 4 weeks. The food is as always awesome !! It’s great to have instant access to the recipes you need . As you move from each cycle the recipes get saved to your library which is a good idea , although I’d love access to all the meals in one section rather than having to flit between the three different types?! As much as I love meat I also love a lot of the veggie recipes so often swop between . I hope the create your own becomes available soon because that would be a game changer ! All in all a really great app , very good price and fabulous content, there are improvements which would see it taken to the next level but I guess with Everything that’s new that takes time ..Version: 1.6

Essential for keeping mentally and physically fitI use this app every day. For me it represents enormous value for money. I lack the motivation to go running and I would struggle to fit in the gym with family and work so this represents a brilliant way of keeping fit when working at home. I normally manage 2-3 workouts a week mostly at lunchtime and without compromising my work minutes. Mentally this really helps maintain motivational levels generally and it’s a godsend for positive mental well-being. Initially I just used the workouts but found that combining these with the recipes has really helped me to initially lose weight (10 kgs over about an 8 month period and waist size down from 36 to 32) and then keep weight at a decent level. Joe Wicks’ workouts are all very good and there’s a trainer called Courtney who is really good to train with virtually also. I’m not a fan of all the community elements - too many peacocks for me but that’s online communities for you. I’ve just renewed again for the second year, and the loyalty offer is a smart play. I can’t recommend this app enough - it will change your life for the better..Version: 1.54

Download this app now!! It’s amazing!!I did Joe’s 90 day plan and couldn’t wait till the app came out in Australia! It’s amazing and the meals are delicious! Even has a shopping list feature now!! Can’t recommend it enough!.Version: 1.13

The best way to create a sustainable and fun lifestyle around food and exerciseCompletely in love with the approach to fitness and food in this app. I was worried about the quantity of food, but I am overwhelmed with how much I’m enjoying the it - never felt stuffed or hungry. It is hard work (we’re doing the advanced plan and were used to 20-25 minute hiits with the odd weight workout but this ups the game quite a bit - but doable and really enjoyable). The recipes are great, and whilst it takes a while to get your head round planning, once you do, it becomes fun and really interesting (we have two kids who eat different to us, so cooking can get a bit chaotic - so my advice, plan each week like a planning ninja!). The app itself is pretty good, but there are some improvements I’d suggest - shopping list is a must, as is allowing previous cycle meals to be added to your planner (it’s great that they’re in the library but you can’t add them to your daily planner - and I’m not giving up my French toast for anyone!). Also, not sure how you would do it, but if you could come up with a way to allow two people to bring their plans together into a planner and recipes…it would save me an awful lot of working out!.Version: 1.5

Absolutely loving it!I’ve stuck to the same weight loss programme for years (not mentioning names) and I became bored, irritated and disheartened with it. After a few months of trying other things on the market my Mum told me about the Joe Wicks app. I’m absolutely loving it and I’m only 11 days in. I started my JW journey on the 1st Jan after my doctor telling me I needed to make some lifestyle changes and I’ve exercised almost every day since, if I don’t do an app workout I walk. I follow him on social media and he is so inspiring. The workouts are only 30 minutes long who can’t spare 30 minutes? And if you can’t he has ten minute quick ones. Ill admit ive done one or two workouts in my pyjamas! The recipes haven’t disappointed me so far and I’m full after each meal of the plan made tailored to me! I do sometimes add potatoes or rice to dishes but that’s life! It’s realistic, fun and although he tells us not to weigh until it’s been 28 days I couldn’t help it and I’ve already lost 6 pounds. I feel motivated for the first time in 2 years! My doctor would be proud!.Version: 1.5

Changed my mindset!I got this app to motivate me and to get my dream body for 2021! I haven’t had the app for long (2/3 weeks) but I would definitely recommend it. The app has hundreds of recipes which change every 28 days and helps you to meal plan! I am no cook whatsoever BUT I can cook these recipes with ease! It’s made me realised how much junk I ate before. Also, there are work outs that are prefilmed for each day which allow you to work out daily and feel good. There are LIVE workouts at 8am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday! When I got this app I was just looking to become more healthy. Instead it has made me get a really good morning routine where I wake up at 7 and exercise at 8 everyday! Once I finish the work out I feel so energised and ready to take on the day! My mental health hasn’t been better! This is down to the app to some extent and other factors of course (not just the app solo) Overall, I would deffo recommend the app to anyone and everyone!.Version: 1.11

Best app!Joe is the best, I love how easy and quick the meals are, and the export to notes function for meal prepping/grocery list!.Version: 1.83

The Body coach appOh my word. I’ve been a huge fan of Joe’s for the last few years and I just downloaded the app and I couldn’t be happier! Joe you do an incredible job keeping me in check and motivated throughout each workout! I do believe that I am getting fitter, stronger and much happier. Thank you so much!! I’m also now beginning to create my own HIIT sessions with just the moves you provide! Can’t wait to see I progress over the next phase of my life :).Version: 1.9

Highly recommendAs a follower of Joe Wicks 90 day plan this was the perfect follow on at the advanced level! I love the recipes and the workouts and Joe Wicks has led me to see food and exercise completely differently! I can see how the app will develop and a couple of my suggestions would be - be able to see that you had completed the workout so there is accountability and a sense of achievement, being able to log in a different workout - say a run or a walk, yoga, class etc. Also a CYO section like in the 90 day plan so you can input your own recipes and again have a completed option for accountability. Having said that I do think the app is brilliant and I would recommend to anyone of any fitness ability, there is no greater feeling then having finished a tough workout and getting to eat some amazing recipes and know that it is all on plan!.Version: 1.4

A few things to updateI like the app. Great for planning and clear messaging. Easy to use and the diary is great. Whilst I know it’s a totally different product to 90 day plan, but I miss the CYO section as sometimes you don’t want a recipe for which you might not have all the elements in the fridge. Sometimes you want to Chuck something together. This leads me on to the lack of a swap tool- sometimes I don’t have lamb but might have lean mince, for example..Or no prawns, but chicken..it would be good to know if or when I can use what is available to me. Finally, after selecting ‘intermediate’, I found the workouts a bit easy but if you want to upgrade to advanced in cycle 2, it will revert you allllll the way back to the start of cycle 1. I think you should be able to up your workouts in a new cycle, rather than having to repeat. If we can get swaps, a CYO and ability to just increase workout intensity without repeating cycles, it would tick all the boxes..Version: 1.7

Love the plan and what it stands for!I do love this plan. I’ve wanted to try this plan for a long time as I’ve always felt this is the plan for me but I was too scared to take the plunge until the weekly free trial came along. I’ve tried WW and SW but I wanted something with a lot more focus on training as that is what makes me happy and feel great. I love that it starts from scratch and builds up your strength on the beginners option while still giving you a decent workout that works your whole body rather than it being over simplified or throwing you in the deep end. I feel great so far! The workout videos are super motivating Joe really is a great coach! With regards to the app itself I do like it but it is basic. It does have everything you need to get on track but one thing for me personally is I’d like to have more of a range with the meals. I think access to all meal plan types would up the game instead of the veggie/meat/pescatarian plans you choose from while setting up. This isn’t a huge dealbreaker for me as the recipes are so delicious and there are meat free options too but more variety in that sense would be great. I’m looking forward to seeing how the app progresses over time. But so far I think they’ve started out well!.Version: 1.11

First week using the app and plan! The app is modern and designed in an easy to use way! You start by entering your personal details and selecting the plan that suits you. I have done two workouts on the intermediate plan and they’ve really challenged me and got my body working! My aims are to loose a few pounds and tone up as well as feel more healthy! I am already starting to feel more energised in just a few days and stronger within my core. The recipes are creative and simple to make. Based on your details and plan, it recommends how many meals/snacks you should eat and how much to drink, as well as how many times you should exercise which is really helpful. It would be good if the app could allow you to input your own food as I wouldn’t want a smoothie or pancakes for breakfast everyday or a full meal for lunch- something quick and easier, minus too much prep. One other flaw is that it asks, when setting up, if you have dietary or medical conditions- I do and I selected Irritable Bowel Syndrome which I suffer with quite badly and am following a low FODMAP diet for, under a dietitian. I suppose because it asked me, i though that it would tailor my meals in a more suitable way for having IBS but there are many recipes that have some reactive foods in, if you have IBS and in high quantity e.g. broccoli. Overall, I’m excited to use the app more and enter 2021 with a challenge and some structure to my exercise routine!.Version: 1.4

Easy to use and great contentI’m really enjoying the app but I do wish there was an option to add notes to each recipe, small alterations or adjustments/cooking techniques I always try and remember but forget when it comes to making the meal. A link to a shopping list would be amazing, I’m forever adding up the amount of each ingredient wrong and have to run back to the shops (not ideal in a lockdown). A link to the swaps page or this integrated into the app would be good. There’s a few things I don’t eat but I know from doing the 90 day plan a few years ago I can easily swap for something similar. The layout of the app is great and easy to use, meals are much easier to follow. I find it annoying how if my phone times out when I’m planning that the whole thing disappears for the week before I’ve saved it, it would be good if it auto saved once you’ve added each meal as these can be edited after but if my screen turns off I lose the whole week that I’ve just planned & have to re-enter it all. The workouts are great so far, I’ve started at the beginners and they’re really basic which is great but it’s still really working for me & I’m losing inches & weight as well as feeling 100 times better. There’s a lot of recipes requiring protein powder which I hate and isn’t family friendly for those with children, and leaving this out doesn’t work well..Version: 1.5

Loving it!I just started using the App this week! Very motivating, challenging and perfect for my before work workouts! Thanks so much!.Version: 1.10

3rd year of loving meThis app is all you need, it’s all about consistency and this app is that. It keeps you going along the levels. I love the workouts, Joe and his trainers are all amazing. I love the check ins for all the new recipes and workouts. There is so much content that I never need to join a gym again. With this app there’s no excuses, 30 minutes of work is just that 30 minutes. If you want a sustainable lifestyle then this app is for you..Version: 1.78

Thank youI saw Joe on sunrise Australia and I have tried other workout apps I always found they were lacking some key things .With the body coach it is a all in one deal I love it , I work out at the gym and incorporate all of the workouts at the gym and home . Joe has inspired me to extend my workouts and Meal plans . I can highly recommend this app ..Version: 1.62

Love love love this app!I graduated from the 90 day plan in October 2020 and was following the principles and exercise since then. I preordered the app and have been using it since December 2020. It is great!! So nice to have the meals and exercises all in one place and the planner really helps me to stick to my exercise plan and prepare the food rather than winging it!! As with anything new there are always little things that could be improved (I do miss create your own!) but there are regular updates and they are really listening to the feedback. So if you get it, be patient! Everything takes time but what you’re getting for the money in my opinion is amazing! I have lost 1 stone 4lbs since June 2020 and about 18 inches across my body. I have gone from a size 14 to a size 10 and am soooo much fitter than I have ever been. All whilst eating amazing food and only having to fit in 30 mins of exercise 4/5 times a week!.Version: 1.7

My whole outlook on exercise has changed! This app really is fantastic and amazing value for money! I’ve done the 90 day plan before which was really good, i was making great progress but I fell off the wagon In lockdown 1, got lazy ate rubbish and felt rubbish! It took me till January to find my motivation again! This app is far superior to the 90 day plan, it has everything so easily accessible, which is very helpful especially with the recipes. I have never been someone that enjoys exercise but Joe is such a motivator and is so right that exercise makes you feel good! I now exercise as I know it will lift my mood for the day and I honestly feel amazing! I’m more confident I have more energy I sleep better and I am just generally happier! ..... changing my body along the way it a bonus aswell! The biggest kick start for me was the live January boot camp, knowing it was live and that Joe and everyone else were doing it along with me really motivated me to keep smashing it!... also the Feb abs lives were great aswell! There is so much content on there that there is something to suit everyone! Honestly it’s the best thing I’ve ever done!.Version: 1.9

Best Overall Fitness/Lifestyle app out thereJoe has helped me lose over 100lbs with his simple approach to fitness and has helped me fully change my lifestyle. The workouts are all tough but can mostly be done anywhere, with usually no equipment needed, but trust me when I say they work and you are dead after each one. Joe is an absolute star and you can tell he really cares about helping people. HIGHLY highly recommend.Version: 1.22

SqajI loved this app until I got runners knee and a shoulder strain I asked for help snd was given low impact sessions but they still invoked kneeling snd push ups and I felt a bit lost snd abandoned. I tried but my knee pain was too bad and would take up to 6 weeks to heal. The app stresses it is personalised to your particular type snd yet it clearly isn’t which I understand. It is good value fir £70 a year but I feel that through losing 6 weeks there is nothing I can do to help my self during lockdown. I can’t go to the drs for runners knee! The food is excellent though and the whole family is onboard with the changes we have made I wish I could send the recipes to my family instead of screen shot and then sending them as we take turns in cooking. Also the f we could have a family option to share for one household just for food; it is impractical for four adults to be cooking four different meals at f different times of the day also to be able to have the app on my lap top or iPad too would be good..Version: 1.8

Good starting pointThe app is the first of any Joe Wicks plans I’ve tried, and I do like the format of the app. It’s simple to use, the recipes stay on the screen while you’re cooking which is a huge plus and it’s easy to stick to the plan, there’s a good choice of meals (if you’re not fussy) and the workouts are short enough to fit into your day. Similarly to the other reviews, there are a few simple improvements that would make this much better - the ability to create a shopping list, view your planner in a weekly view, and bring together your plan with someone else’s if you’re doing it together would save so much time. The recipes take longer than the time stated by the time you measure everything out, especially if you’re doing it for two people, so saving time on planning would really help. The ability to swap out one protein for another - like pork for chicken - would be good if you don’t like a particular thing or feel like a bit of a change. You can do different workouts rather than always follow the ones on the app, but there’s no option to add that to your plan or check off when a workout has been done. I miss having music during the workout, and the bleeper on the video is pretty quiet so if you play your own music you don’t always hear it. I think the feedback is pretty consistent across users, so hopefully there’s some improvements on the way. If the app remains as is, I don’t think I would renew my subscription after a year..Version: 1.5

Reliable source for trainingIt’s been great to have something that I is a reliable source to use from home or when I’m going to the gym..Version: 1.78

The best way to maintain a healthy lifestyleI’m a 90 Day Plan Graduate and had always hoped Joe would bring out an app! Therefore, I was so excited when I saw this was coming out and it hasn’t disappointed me! I have a very busy lifestyle and have found that this is the only plan that works for me. I like my food too, so starving myself to achieve e results was never going to be an option! I have never been excited in my life about exercising, gyms make me anxious as I had no idea what I was doing and I always fell off the wagon somewhere. However, now I find I can’t wait to get home to do a quick HIIT (I’ve even got the family involved too!) before making a yummy dinner for everyone, completely guilt free!! (My husband thinks I’m an amazing cook, but it’s all Joe’s recipes, I can’t take the credit!!). Because Joe is doing the workouts ‘with’ you in real time and shouting out words of encouragement as the workout is going along, you feel like you have your very own personal trainer. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking to improve their fitness, not just physically but mentally as well. Five stars Joe, you rock!!! ⭐️.Version: 1.6

Healthy set upKnowing diet culture can be toxic I love lots of little smart things about this app! Measuring and weighing only once per month, not counting calories just focusing on interesting healthy meals, options for longer or workouts depending on your actual life and encouraging celebrating off scale wins. This has allowed me incremental changes and avoid all or nothing mentality. Meaning I’ve been using it for 4 months and plan to continue. I also love the option to include weights training which is so important..Version: 1.19

Thank you! This app is great. I was using the YouTube context before but joining the app has made me level up my fitness in an incredible way. Thank you Joe!.Version: 1.44

Love this appVery simple to use. Having all the recipes to access as easily as it is makes sticking to the plan so much easier.Version: 1.33

Love it!Joe is like a hyper active 5 year old and sometimes I have to mute him but I often find myself bouncing around like this these days too, like a geriatric version of Tigger! I came from a low cal diet and calorie counting and lots of exercise but not HIIT. Not lost much weight in my first cycle but the change in my shape is INSANE, my legs are slimmer and my tummy not so wobbly. I’m loving the recipes, the freedom of not counting everything that passes my lips and the HIIT are brilliant, 30 mins of hell but then you’re done for the day. Only thing I’d like to change is access to all three meal plans so you can swap without it deleting the planner. It doesn’t freak me out as don’t use it but would be good for those who do. Also, an option to put the snacks in the planner too. I love veggie food too and the mixed meal plan pretty meat heavy and also a create your own which I believe exists on the original 90 day, and easier access to swaps. I use the online tool but would be great to have in the app..Version: 1.6

AmazingI have been a long time follower of Joe’s YouTube videos, but absolutely love that I can access more content through the app. Which is specific to your fitness level (beginner, intermediate or advanced). Joe is such a character and a great motivator, and really runs home the benefits of exercise for mental health. I love the mantra “you never regret a workout, cause it’s true. I’ve specifically bought the app for the exercise content, but those who are looking for food tracking as well, it’s great cause it calculates measurements for you based off some pre defined questions. The recipes are pretty delicious too! A great investment on your overall health!.Version: 1.10

Jo Wicks AppLoving the app. I started the intermediate level training in January. I enjoyed having a planner to sort out my training and meals for the week. I mix the training with my running. I have already noticed the difference in my running times from doing 3 days running and 3 days HIT training and have also been able to extend my longer run too. Loving the introduction of dumbbells this month. Not something I have been used properly in the past. I am feeling stronger and more positive and am also enjoying the abs training this month. A few suggestions: It would be good to be able to insert my running training into the app so I have all my training in one place and also a comments box when you have completed the workout to show how your feeling etc. A shopping basket would be great too. I tend to adapt or substitute recipes using what I have in the store cupboard..Version: 1.7

A healthier you at your fingertipsWhen I downloaded this app at the beginning of February I was hesitant about whether this was going to be manageable and sustainable. I didn’t really have weight to lose but wanted to change up my fitness goals and eating habits. The first week I did a LOT of meal prep and thought my fears were confirmed. Nearly two months on I feel like a different person. The food quantities are tailored to you, the food itself is AMAZING and I have so much more energy and focus. The exercise is great and there are live workouts that you can interchange with the ones on your plan so you don’t get bored of doing the same thing. It is sometimes hard work and there are points in each cycle where I end up doing a lot of cooking, but it’s worth it for the way I feel in myself. Like any fitness program, commitment is required but this is a totally different experience from any others I have done and I’m in it for the long haul!.Version: 1.10

Great app but.....I decided to take the plunge and get this app, I was optimistic as I’d used other apps before and they just didn’t do well in my opinion. Even though I have been working out for a while I decided to start at the beginner stage, I didn’t want too get ahead of myself and not be able to do the workout, I completed the first days workout today and it gave a good variety of exercises which i feel in my muscles already. The main workout at the beginner stage lasts for 25 mins which is fab especially with having a little baby you can easily get it done whilst they are asleep. The only downside to this app from what I have came across at the moment is the food side of it, there is a good range of food you have options with but it would help if you could swap and change some of them too especially if you are a fussy eater I can see this being an issue. But other than that looking forward to getting stuck in and seeing the changes..Version: 1.4

Take the plunge and go for itI had Joe’s app on my phone for a good month or so before I took the plunge to take up a subscription and actually get in to it. My work friend constantly kept telling me about it and how much she enjoys it to note she is 20 years older than me. Best thing I have done every thing is so clear and clean. The videos are perfect great quality video and sound quality (not back ground noise) Joe explains the moves and shows you before it’s time to do them. He will show you the easier or more challenging way to do them. The timer with the beeps are great as I tend not to look at the screen when doing them as I clock watch. Throughout the work out Joe is very positive and motivating. I normally do one day and pack it in I blame aches and pains but this is the longest I have stuck to something. I can’t comment on the food but there is a great selection of food to eat. This is only because I have a 5 year old who is extremely fussy. Great app get it you won’t regret it!!!!.Version: 1.11

Feeling greatReally beneficial to have the app, you start with small steps and get motivated daily to progress to your best. Noticed a difference in my posture and mood after first month, love how convenient the workouts are and the (make your own meal options) is probably the strongest reason it’s easier to stick to the eating plan, thanx Joe!.Version: 1.63

Love this app so muchIm a Brit living in Canada. I love joe wicks and was so happy the app is now available in Canada. I love how easy it is to use. The meals are easy & tasty. Workouts are great. Iv tried different plans and this is the best one by far. I can see myself using this for a long time. Go Joe :).Version: 1.24

Consistency is key!Great app & fitness plan from the world renowned ‘the Bodycoach’. Did the 90 day plan last year and it’s great that this is now on an app; navigation between food, exercise and cycles is all good. I don’t use the planner as much these days. Love the new feature implemented a few months ago and regularly use the ‘favourite’ feature to help identify your fav recipes/exercises. Would be great if shopping list was interactive on the app, to tick off items as you shopped then would use that more. Could also do with search fields to search for recipes or ingredients, but app is being updated all the time & improving every month so expect these minor improvements to come. On cycle 6 now, 6 months in and still using the app which says it all to me how great this app is. If you haven’t got it yet and are serious about exercising regularly, eating plenty of healthy food, never being hungry and still getting fit, look no further and get on this plan! Consistency is key!.Version: 1.18

Great upgrade from 90-day planFinished the original 90-day plan the day the app launched so downloaded immediately and began on the advanced set of cycles. Cost wise the app is great value for money for the 12 month subscription and it allows you to keep going rather than just see it as a 3 months thing and giving up. It feels very similar to those used to the 90 day plan with added features. Looking forward to the shopping list update 🙏🏻. In general I’ve found Joe’s plan easy to follow, challenging but not impossible and I’ve loved 95% of the meals, and they are MEALS, no tiny little portions here, they keep you fuelled. Want to kick start your existing routine or start from scratch and have the time for 5 x 30min workouts a week (and meal prep) I 100% recommend you sign up. I lost 8kg on the original plan, now I’m not fussed about the weight it’s about getting stronger, leaner and continuing the path to balance!.Version: 1.5

Best dosh I’ve spentI love this app and everything it has to offer. It’s so easy to use simple and straight forward. The workouts are excellent and I really feel that they step up each time. I also like the fact that you can go back and do ones you like and I’m now confident enough to add dumbbells on in some. However I love the recipes even more. They are tasty easy to do and have introduced me to load of new foods. Joe is right when he says you have to be Captain prep but you save so much time in the long term. I am retired from my job now so I’m not stuck for time but I have been on top of the prepping and it’s a plus. Thank you Joe you have helped me change my life with this app all starting with PE with Joe during lock down. I am looking forward to developments to this app ‘cos I’m sure you will have something exciting up your sleeve to challenge me in the future . Well done would not hesitate to recommend this app..Version: 1.11

Love it!Did the 90 day and grad plan patiently waiting for this to be available in the USA. Well worth the wait. I love this app and the overall vibe of working out wiry body coach..Version: 1.23

Best fitness app out thereI have tried several fitness plans over the years but nothing comes close to the Body Coach. He is with you every step of the way. The exercises are extremely varied so you never get bored and you will see amazing results..Version: 1.28.1

5stars!I’ve been following Joe and doing his work outs on and off for a couple of years now. After Christmas, at my heaviest weight I finally thought this is it! I’ve got to stick it out! My fiancé and I both signed up and have been doing the workouts and enjoying the meals together since 27th December now. All of the food is delicious and easy enough to make, doing it all from scratch and actually cooking rather than chucking something in the oven feels rewarding in itself. We’re 16days in and in the past I’d have let the workouts trail off by now but I’m so looking forward to my first “check in” in 12 days to see how I’ve done. This is definitely motivating me to keep going. As well as this I feel better! As most of the country is, I’m on furlough now and dark mornings and miserable weather make it pretty tough to want to get anything done so this app is giving me structure and boosting my mood daily! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.Version: 1.5

IncredibleI absolutely LOVE this app. Joe Wicks is just incredible. I have never really struggled with my weight (thankful for a great metabolism) but I was very very unfit and needed to do something about it. I saw that the app had a reduced price when it first launched and I thought “why not it’s the price of a couple of months at the gym at it lasts way longer”. So I did. I am so happy that I did. I’m not only feeling better, but I am enjoying exercising. I have even started Couch to 5K which I would have never done if it wasn’t for the motivation Joe gives. He is so encouraging and always talks about exercising helping mental health, which I personally struggle with and he is so right. I always feel better after a workout and they aren’t even that long. I personally don’t use the meals that much, but that’s because I still live with my parents and my mum makes delicious healthy meals for us everyday. Although, I have sent her a few to try, as they all look scrumptious. I couldn’t recommend an app more than this. I have literally never written a review before, but this was needed. I can’t thank Joe enough! He is so real and you can see that through all his workouts..Version: 1.8

Easy & simple way to plan workouts and meals in one place!I couldn’t recommend this app highly enough. I like to think of myself as a very organised person, but always struggled to keep track/plan/organise workouts and food in one place, I was always using scraps of paper for meal plans and then never sticking to the gym or running because I never committed to it by writing it down anywhere, the app takes all those problems away. I love that your day is laid out for you a week at a time. The meals are all delicious, there isn’t a single one I’ve had that I didn’t like. The portion sizes do take a little getting used too, especially if like me you had no idea how much food you should be eating to fuel workouts before using the app! But you can also feedback at the end of each cycle whether or not the food portions were too big/small/just right. The exercises are always challenging to begin with each new cycle providing different workouts, but I love at the end of the cycle seeing how far I’ve come with them all! The live/on demand section is also such a great feature, if I am feeling unmotivated, and it still does happen sometimes, I will swap a cycle workout for a previous live as you don’t know what’s coming in the workout so you have no excuse to just crack on! Thank you Joe & the team for working so hard to create such a fantastic lifestyle app ❤️.Version: 1.12

Using the appBeing a person who isn’t good with I.T stuff I have been surprised how easy I’ve found using the app. I like the fact you can plan your week re food and training & it generates a shopping list. It’s easy to get the workouts up & the access to past live workouts etc is good. I generally like a paper copy re recipes but have actually done okay on the iPad with them & is easier than flicking through paper copies. The one thing I’d like to see is being able to add using a create your own to planner as I leave it blank when doing that. Using the app keeps me focused with training & I also like the workouts from other trainers & live workouts. I have found the yoga for beginners really helpful re stretching as I also do running 3 or 4 times a week & the yoga helps with stiffness . I’m always recommending the app to others & people notice the difference it’s made to me..Version: 1.83

Brand new body coach/app userJust joined and started using the app 2 days ago. So far I’m so pleased. The meals are really filling and tasty. Nice to have some food inspiration as I was soooo fed up picking what to cook/make EVERY day. Stuck in a rut. Lovely to know the choices are all healthy and good, even with french toast and pancakes I haven’t gone over 1,500 calories (I checked) and it’s good honest food. No additives or preservatives which I love. The ability to plan the weeks meals in advance helps with planning the shopping but a breakdown of what’s in the ‘shopping bag’ for the week would be so much easier if the app automatically did a shopping list! It would also be good to have a form of acknowledgment when a workout is completed. 2/2 so far! Go me! But great to keep track on success officially. 2 days in and I’ve 100% stuck to the food plan and exercise but it’s early days (Maybe an edit option to note how well the plan is adhered to exclusively would be good? I know that’s the idea but if the progress is slower than expected for some, at least users can look back on their ‘notes’ to see where improvement could be made and the amount of ‘off’ days they had? UPDATE: now 90 days in and still loving the food...not losing much weight (I’m within a normal BMI) but my shape has changed for the better! I’m sticking with it 👍🏻.Version: 1.10

Amazing Joe, but bring back the bagels :)Well done Joe, loving this app!! I’ve completed the 90 day plan twice, along with the SAS plan and have continued to follow his methodology around food when I’ve trained at the gym for over 4 years. As most have said, there are exciting things that can be added to this app to make it super amazing, but don’t forget, this is an MVP, minimum variable product, something functional to get out to people, otherwise you’ll never get it out if you want everything to be on it. These things take time to build people :) Things to add would of course start with the shopping list. That’s what takes up most of my time as I’m calculating what me and my partner (he’s on it too) need each week to get the right amount of food and as little wastage as possible. Secondly I’d go for a favourites tab. We all have our favourite recipes and having to search through the library to find the old recipes can be time consuming again. Add a little star you can tap on and voila! Copying a weeks plan could also be helpful (I tended to do this on my PowerPoint with the 90 day plan and alternate weeks) that way you could swap out a few different meals here and there too. Finally, where are all the bagels Joe???? I miss the build-up bagel, chicken Caesar, turkey and bacon and sausage breakfast bagel :( they were favourites of mine and I miss them! But massive congrats Joe, loving it!!!.Version: 1.9

Yay!I've been on the bodycoach program since 2015 and have been begging for an app since! The app is amazing and super easy to use and it makes life significantly easier however there are a few suggestions: 1 - where did the "create your own" option go on the food options? I feel limited to only the food that is recommended 2- we had more food options before -- again it feels a little limited 3- there is no reco for supplements / online store to purchase protein powder -- there used to be a website which directed us to these - would defo recommend an online shop 4- the different levels is a little confusing as there is no explanation to the levels (i did the grad plan 4 months ago and started with intermediate and got a little bored) any form of description would be very supportive 5- the videos are a little bugged - there have been times that i've been in a middle of a workout (whilst i've shared the screen on to my TV) and it suddenly says "smashed it you just completed your workout" 6- would recommend a link / direction to the facebook community - I feel this is missing from the app thus making it less "human" a the community was the one factor that had me going thus I think it plays an essential role to people surviving the three months Other than the above i'm a big supporter and overjoyed with the app and super excited to finish yet another Bodycoach program..Version: 1.4

Love this app but..Love this app so much and the workouts are amazing!!! I love that they’re short enough so I can just do them on my work breaks. I work from home so this pushes me to get up and moving. However…I wish there was a way that it checked off or starred the workout you just finished. It’s not only a BIG feeling of accomplishment, but I can keep track of the exercises I did or didn’t do. Can’t wait to keep improving and getting into the harder workouts..Version: 1.42

Needs Apple Health integrationAwesome app. Doesn’t record your exercise into apple health which for Apple ecosystem users means you aren’t closing rings. Also all your stats are not updating apple health such as weight, body measurements etc. Please add this functionality in a release update!.Version: 1.9

Fantastic!Fantastic app! So easy to set up, literally 5 minutes. I tried all the beginner workouts before Christmas, plus the live workout and can’t wait for the bootcamp to start next week to get back on track after the Christmas blowout. Joe is so motivational and he really covers all options from beginner through to advanced. It would be good to have an ‘add your own workout’ option as I do also run and swim and am never sure if I should do this as well as the 5 recommended workouts or replace a workout with a run etc. Food wise, there are some great healthy recipes, there is lots of choice for breakfast & dinner, but I’m struggling with lunches as have very little time to prep whilst working, so some more quick/easy lunch options would be good. Again an ‘add your own meal’ option would also be good here. Such good value for the 12 month plans, I’ve been recommending to all my friends..Version: 1.4

JezAmazing app. And how wicks is great!.Version: 1.18

Fantastic appI’ve been using this app for a few years now. It works fantastically. Over time they have changed things & added things to make it better. I started off following the cycles but now I like to mix it up. I’ve been doing a lots of the yoga, completing some of the challenges. At the moment I’m doing the menopause series. I really like that it’s really versatile & there’s loads of different types of workouts to choose from depending on your mood, energy levels & how much time you have to workout. I love the recipes. Some are now staples in my household, love the feature where you can multiply the recipes to how many portions you need. I love the fact that as well as the new recipes each cycle they also sometimes add ones on for example Christmas recipes or simple recipes. Absolutely love this app & would 100% recommend it to any one..Version: 1.82

I LOVE this App!Joe’s YouTube workouts were a highlight for our family over the last year+ - he is energetic, genuine, fun, kind and so knowledgeable. That led our family to his Body Coach app - and we haven’t looked back! It’s amazing! Thank you Joe!.Version: 1.22

I so want to give it 5*🥲I got it on release day and signed up for a year. Having completed the 90 day & grad plan really happy to get a year of Joe in my pocket. It’s been a great plan. However.........if you have an iPhone 12 Pro or Max it seems there are major issues. I can’t access anything on the bottom line- plan, live or profile- it doesn’t respond at all. I can’t access my plan without starting to play the WO, then come out of it and access the train, eat, plan. If it’s a rest day and I haven’t planned the food, I can’t access any recipes. If I miss a planned workout, I can’t access any of the workouts on a planned rest day. If I have left the day as a rest day, then decided to WO, I can’t access the WO’s. You can’t edit the planner once you have saved your WO days- major flaw. Life changes or sometimes you just don’t feel up to it. The first live WO this morning was incredibly glitchy, freezing, stopping, again, something that seems restricted to the 12. It seems to drain the battery. After normal use of phone and using the app for WO - screen mirrored to the TV, cooking- after 12hrs it’s at 10%. It’s brand new so should be better. PLEASE SORT OUT THE ISSUES FOR IPHONE12. More people are going to get them and you’ll have a whole lot of unhappy users just because of the phone they are using. BTW I can’t download to an old IPad as it won’t operate below IOS13. I’ll happily give it 5 stars when it works fully. It’s a great plan!.Version: 1.4

IncredibleLove the workouts and recipes, and the app is easy to use..Version: 1.28

Great App but ....Downloaded the app this weekend to start Monday. Initial thoughts , really user friendly, very easy to navigate around and love the planner. I like being organised! Also I love love love that his workouts are 30 minutes long I don’t have time to workout longer than this ... However, the meals can be expensive for a weeks food if you want all the fancy fish meals. If joe reads this, something I would really appreciate if this will work is better/easier is better lunch ideas for work! I work full time in the NHS and need meals that are easy to take to work, I don’t always have time to warm a meal up .... I know a sandwich isn’t healthy but something easy on these lines. I think looking now, it’s the general meals that are harder to organise and they are the meals you mainly have and they will be the meals I will use mainly for work lunches. Thank you Joe ... congratulations....Version: 1.4

Fitness JourneyI am not doing this to loose weight really. I only have 3-4 kilos to shift. But the exercise and mental health aspects are what I am after. I am 67 and just retired. I just felt old and worthless. I have always kept fit but lost my motivation. So I started following Joe and when the app came to Australia I joined straight away. It’s great seeing other people’s success and stories on Instagram. All helps to keep the motivation going. I went away for 10 days and as we were staying with friends I didn’t do the workouts. Are too much and drank too much. But I am back now and heading straight back to it..Version: 1.13

Great affordable meal and workout plansI’ve had the app for over a year and started with the beginner cycle. The workouts are great and progress at a good pace to keep you motivated and get stronger and fitter.Version: 1.38

Body coach app is amazingBrilliant app and so easy to use. Workouts are amazing and you can do them anywhere. Best workout app I’ve ever used..Version: 1.55

First impressionsSigned up to the 12 month subscription, and so far seems great value for money. Only takes about 5 mins to get set up and ready to start your new journey. The planner will definitely help stick to plan, a bit of effort in meal planning is required to get fully started, but all the recipes are there ready to choose from. I imagine once you’ve been doing this for two or three weeks you can recycle previous weeks meal plans making it a lot quicker. Also after a first practice, recipes will be easier and quicker to make as lots of them look very simple. As a mum of three kids a lot of the recipes I can adapt to feed them too, so that makes things a bit easier as I don’t always want to be making different meals. Looking forward to getting straight on it and started, and hopefully looking and feeling fab for getting married in May..Version: 1.3

4.5 Stars - amazing with some opportunities for improvement tTLDR: The workouts and trainers are fun, challenging, and videos are short enough to make it very easy to be consistent! Background: I workout about 3-5 times per week and have tried so many other apps: Peloton, Centr, Laddr, Les Mills, Alo Moves, CorePower, Asana Rebel, Nike Training Club, etc and BODY COACH has been the easiest program for me to be consistent with!! Pros: Fun vibe, great trainers, easy to follow programs and challenges, lots of variety with HiiT, yoga, strength, etc, short workouts, lots of variety with movements Needs Improvement: Need to be able to play music in the background (almost every other workout app allows this), need to be able to track past completed workouts (I need to be able to see a calendar of completed workouts), need to be able to see data from previous “cycles”, would appreciate more variety for warm ups and cool downs for each cycle (only having 1 video to follow for 28 days becomes repetitive).Version: 1.83

Keeping the determination goingI started the plan in 2015 and had brilliant results. I kept to the principles when I finished but became a bit lax over time. If I needed a boost I became more determined and completed the plan again. This got me through some traumatic times between then and 2020. In July 2020 I wanted to become more determined again, but try to keep it going, rather than dipping in and out, so I completed all 3 cycles again, lost 17lb and lots of inches so decided to continue with the app and see if I (a serial giver uperer!) could just keep going. I’ve taken a bit longer to finish cycle 1 but I wanted to do it justice before moving on. I’ve also had a shoulder injury from face planting whilst doing a plank thruster, but even that hasn’t stopped me, I’ve just adapted. Looking forward to being more determined in cycle 2! Loving the routine, recipes and empowering feelings from this being a daily (5 days a week Mon to Fri) part of my life..Version: 1.9

Joe Wicks’ BodyCoach app is a game changerThis app is fantastic and keeps getting better.I started following Joe Wicks on Instagram several years ago and I’m so happy that he has this amazing app to make it easier to follow his plan. I still enjoy his cookbooks and his for YouTube videos, but the app Taylor is his plan specifically to me and when I follow it I am always successful! it’s very easy to fit into my lifestyle and I highly recommend it..Version: 1.64

The body coachI just love how easily and motivating this is!.Version: 1.11

Only 2 weeks in and loving it2 weeks is good for me!!! Honestly expected to have admitted defeat by now! It kept me Intrested and the meals are so quick and easy! They literally meant that! As a mum of 3, quickly doing my dinner in approx 10mins is a huge bonus! Veggie options are seriously delicious! House smells amazing all the time too lol xx I’m on beginner, literally starting from scratch and given me all the tools and motivation I need, the fb group is amazing support and a good giggle at the life of trying to loose weight and get fit to! I thought it would take a miracle to get me out of bed to do a work out, turns out I just needed joe wicks to do that! (Belly laugh!) his workouts are great to follow and very supporting and encouraging throughout! Like he really knows the effort it’s taking to get to do a work out in the first place! it makes you want to stick with it and it’s so worth it! I absolutely love it and am actually looking forward to end of cycle 1 to see my progress and without the anxiety of it! I’m already feeling better for starting and doing the workouts and meal plan! I’ve learnt you never regret a work out! Whooo!.Version: 1.11

Amazing foodThe recipes are easy to make, quick and healthy..Version: 1.11

Love love love!!!After doing the plan a few years ago and getting fantastic results, I was keen to download the app. It’s easy to use and lots of recipes to keep you going. One payment for the whole year, what a bargain and keeps you accountable. Recipes are provided in portion control amounts with hints for batch cooking and family friendly. You can switch between meat and veggie plans to your hearts delight. Recipes stay active on the page whilst using them so I love this little feature as no need to keep getting my phone smothered in ingredients as I cook. There’s some great new workouts, both bodyweight and weights and also warm ups and cool downs, all detailed which is which. There’s also a planner in the app so you can detail for the week what meals and when you’re training. There’s new features to be released such as a swap tool and create your own which will add to this little gem of an app. Love it Joe 💪.Version: 1.4

The natural evolution for JoeI meant to get the App last Jan but work got in the way. I was already a fan after doing all the Joe Wicks lockdown workouts which had kick started my fitness after a lull. Thanks Joe! Now after 2 stints in the US in 2021 I need to kickstart what Joe had managed in 2020. The app is well designed and there are plenty of workouts on there plus scheduled live boot camps (which I haven’t tried yet) but am looking forward to. The older boot camps see to be available too. I see these are scheduled in the evenings if you attend live - any plans for live ones in the morning? On the live boot camps front it would be great to able to add these to the planner so you can remember the workout you’ve done and plan the week ahead. Also it would be great to add food into the planner with their calorie information so you can keep tabs of the food consumed with a calorie total. My Fitness Pal does this by letting you scan bar codes with portion amount and it’s really useful when calorie counting. Otherwise a great app which I’m really looking to get into in 2022. Keep up the brilliant work Joe and team..Version: 1.29

Great appJoe is so positive and realistic, I feel like I have a friend showing me just what to do..Version: 1.58

Well worth the wait... love it!!Did the 90 day plan a couple of years ago and was ready to take on the graduate plan towards the end of last year to get back into shape. I was advised to wait as something special was coming up which would be better.... and they weren’t wrong. Fantastic app, super easy to navigate round and more great HIIT sessions to choose from at a level that suits you (beginner, intermediate or advanced). The recipes as always are delicious, and am genuinely loving the structure the app gives you. Second week in and I’m feeling more positive, happier, definitely stronger, and hopefully getting leaner (will find how much when check in arrives at the end of the month!!). Honestly I love it. There’s obviously a few things to tweak like the Create your Own option and shopping list tool, but I believe these are coming very soon to the app. Winning app.... what’s not to love? Give it a go... you won’t be disappointed ☺️.Version: 1.5

This is the best! And i hated working out beforeOk, seriously, I hate gyms, I hate gym culture, and I love good food. I started the Body Coach program a year ago because my likes plus my dislikes plus the pandemic equalled fat me. Joe is kind, funny, mildly encouraging, and, most importantly, suffers along with you! The workouts are dooable and scalable for ability. The food is good!! Anyway, don’t think about it too much. Just try it out, it might end up changing your life, like it chaged mine..Version: 1.23

LOVE THIS APP -Motivating and life changing!I cannot express how much of a positive impact this app has had on my fitness and health. I’ve always been a fan of Joe Wicks (The Body Coach) and loved his passion for trying to change the way we look at exercise and making sure we learn to focus on the positives for our mental well being as well as the physical side. The app gives great access to a variety of tailored workouts to your fitness level and recipes to support your fitness journey. When the app was released there was no question in my mind I was going to go ahead and download it! I absolutely loved it and has kept me motivated especially with the end of cycle checks in which in turn helps you track/see your progress without constantly focusing on the number on the scales (I am strong belief of not fixating on just weight alone) This app teaches you to look at the whole picture not just your weight! I encourage anyone thinking about it to take the leap and go for it as you won’t regret it! Thanks Joe Wicks as this app has helped me to be more of a positive, proud and focused person through the us of exercise!.Version: 1.6

AmazingI wrote a review a couple of weeks ago but I am writing one again to give it 5 stars as previously I had marked it down for having no music during the workouts. I’ve completely gotten over that now as this app has given me amazing results after just 4 weeks. I’ve never seen results like this before on any other plan that I’ve tried. The workouts are challenging but aren’t so hard that they make you want to give up and Joe encourages you to keep pushing. I loved the variety in the January boot camp and am loving that there is a new challenge each month. The recipes are so simple to follow, with lots of variety and the portion sizes are generous and don’t let you go hungry. It doesn’t feel like you’re on a diet at all, no foods are off limits. To Joe and the team who developed this app, I just wanted to say well done and thank you for everything. I can’t wait to see what results I get over the next few months..Version: 1.6

Best thing I’ve done for myself as a mum!Started with the free trial and really enjoyed the app. Stuck with it and I’m 3 months in now. This is the first time in 3/4 years that I’ve consistently exercised and done something for me for once. Would highly recommend to beginners wanting to make a change. 6 months PP and following my own planner on the app I’m down to 8 stone 4 after putting over 3 stone on in my last pregnancy. Very happy! Also working wonders for my mental health and specifically keeping my anxiety at bay! Had a week off and noticed a decline in my mental health, come straight back on and feel uplifted and motivated again. Couldn’t be any happier with the app! (Considering the pricing expensive, remember a gym membership could cost you £40 a month and this yearly fee is really not that much to invest in prioritising yourself and your health)..Version: 1.23

First class fitness & health appI was reluctant to sign up for this in case it proved to be another thing I couldn’t manage, but a free 2 week trial gave me insight to it without the commitment of paying. That was over 7 months ago and I’m still going. The health, fitness and mental health benefits this has added to my life have been huge. The recipes are easy to do and you find yourself often asking, can I really eat lose weight? (Yes you can!). The exercise builds up gradually as the weeks go on and it’s amazing how quickly you can improve. For days you are stuck for time there are 10-15 min workouts to keep you moving. The support and help you get is excellent. No weekly weigh in were you have to justify what you did in the past week. There is a monthly one simply to calculate your recipe portions; no one else sees that but you. No food is deemed evil or bad; it’s all about balance..Version: 1.78

So long Slimmingworld... hello Body Coach App!I had done Slimmingworld on and off, but with exercise such as cycling & running I knew I wasnt fueling my body. I know fats are not the enemy but because of SW everything is syned, I saw food as an enemy. Scared to eat certain foods. This plan encourages you to cook and as someone who was a very unconfident cook, I have been able to cook good food using simple recipes that tastes good. FOOD IS TASTY! I never feel like I need to cheat or treat as I as Feel content. The HIIT classes are great and you push yourself so dont be scared you can make it easier for your level. I am in it for a complete lifestyle change to tone and feel happier in myself. The app is easy to use and follow. It is getting ongoing updates to tailor to peoples feedback which i think its great. The HIIT classes are live and on demand, so you have content just for app users. You can have mixed meals, veggie, pescatarian or vegan, and move between them for inspiration as the recipes tailor to your stats you submit. The app It is evolving and think personally I wish i did the plan much much sooner, as I my relationship with food before wasnt positive. I highly recommend it just wish i did it sooner x.Version: 1.6

Life changingI downloaded this app after two of my friends had started the plan and were loving it. I have yo-yo dieted for years and lockdown had really affected by body shape, diet, motivation and energy. I am currently on cycle 2 and have not missed 1 workout. I don’t recognise myself. I was always one to make excuses but now I can’t wait to roll out my mat, put my trainers on and hit play on my workout. The food is a incredible and I will be honest it took me awhile to get my head around the fact I could eat so much delicious food, turkey and cheese melts, halloumi burgers and curry?! This could never work! BUT it did and the cycle 1 photos blew me away. I honestly will recommend this plan to anyone I speak to, it’s got my motivation back, I now love cooking food again and fuelling my body the right way, my mental health is better and my energy is through the roof. Try, try, try! You won’t be sorry!.Version: 1.11

Off and on again userI’m an on-and-off-again type when it comes to fitness, but I always come back to Joe. It’s real and I appreciate not only the improvement in your physical health, but using exercise to heal your mental health. While the free videos on YouTube are appreciated, the app takes the guess work out of where you need to be next. I would however love a more flexible meal plan-I can’t digest dairy and get my animal protein from poultry-so I’d love to personalize a plan that omits the things I don’t eat..Version: 1.76
