✓ Not representative of actual PMP test questions nor contentThis app helps to learn the concepts but is not representative of the actual test questions nor the content. The new exam is heavily focused on the agile approach. I would say 90% of the questions on the exam were agile based. This app barely touches on the agile approach and when it does the questions are over simplified compared to the actual exam. The one thing I will say that is good about this app is that it is user friendly and you can learn the basics especially from a predictive approach, but this will not help on the exam..Tagg11Version: 2.2.0

✓ Not sufficient for PMP or advanced certificationsI used Pocket Prep for a previous certification(CAPM) and found it helpful. It’s an easy way to quiz on the go and introduce yourself to new concepts. So I was pleased to see Pocket Prep offered a PMP version. I studied hard, recieved high scores on my Mock Exams and reviewed regularly. I was confident I’d do well on the exam. Unfortunately, there were a wide variety of topics not represented or updated with PMI’s changes on Pocket Prep. It’s an okay product. But overall you will need significant supplementation, as it is unable to keep up with the latest versions of the exam. Your money is better spent on the official PMI Study Hall. I was offered the Pass Gaurentee, but with my scores already exceptional, I saw no benefit. The customer care agent was nice but ultimately was unable to resolve the issue..YtSedanVersion: 3.10.0

✓ Convenient but not Accurate to Current TestI bought the app as a supplement to my study material for the CA Real Estate Salesperson exam. Thankfully I didn’t rely solely on this app. While it is very convenient and a good quick refresh tool I do not feel I would have passed had I only been studying through the app. The current test is far more difficult than the questions contained in the app. It needs an update to make it more accurate to the current types of questions and difficulty level of the test being administered..Donal78Version: 3.6.1

✓ Ok For PHR Study HelpThis is a decent study guide as long as you use it with other material. I’ve found several mistakes that were either outdated or just incorrect. Many misleading statements and irrelevant content as well (lots of SPHR only topics). You can tell the writer of the questions does not have a PHR or fully understand the topics. Overall it’s a lot more interactive than using flash cards but essentially does the same thing WITH an explanation, which is great when you’re questioning the validity of the question. Overall worth it, but make sure to not take the answers as gospel and use other materials. They’re not supposed to be like the real test questions..IouyoududeVersion: 3.3.0

✓ Not updated for PMP 2021 VersionUpdate: developer reached out and said they did update for the new exam. I still think there are too many definitions and no situational questions like you would find on the exam. Use this as a starting point, definitely not a final exam prep tool. PMP released a new exam in Jan 2021 but pocket prep does not appear to be updated at all. The new exam has less ITTO definitions and more focus on agile and situational questions. Mostly worthless for new exam. Pocket prep is still mostly all definitions and processes instead of situations..Benonline2468Version: 3.0.1

✓ Not a fanBefore purchasing this app I read a lot of reviews and the app scored highly, so I felt confident I had made a good purchase. I’ve not taken my PMP exam yet, so the proof will be in the result, but I’ve not found this app particularly good. Some of the questions have been poorly written and led to confusion, the same with some of the answers. I contacted customer support about one instance and the response I received was based on old information and had not been updated with the new PMBOK contents. ✓ Good and badIt was convenient to be able to study on the go. It was useful more as flash cards to practice vocabulary and show me what sections I was struggling in and needed to reread. It was nice that it explained why the right answer was right and the wrong answers were wrong. The question format was fairly different from the actual CSCP exam and a number of questions have typos.
