✓ Frustrating and useless: impossible to set-up & verify account via SMS.This app is really useless. To use, you must set up an account. To set up an account you need to verify with an SMS PIN, The app says it has sent a PIN but it never arrives (at least with a foreign phone number). Super frustrating. This is embarrassing for Verona: cities all over Europe, including in less wealthy places (Romania) have similar apps that work flawlessly. Fixing this should be an afternoon’s work for a competent software engineer!.Basic but usefulVersion: 10.13.0

✓ Cannot register with US phone #In order to buy bus tickets with the app, you must register with your phone number and then they will send you a SMS code via text, in order to complete your registration. The needed code will not arrive to a US phone #, therefore you cannot use this app as intended; allowing the tourist to buy bus tickets before getting on the bus..Unhappy aol userVersion: 11.2.1

✓ Short man syndrome for the bus ticket policeTried to purchase a ticket multiple times on the app (after no help from bus driver with regards to how to buy a ticket through him). By the time I did, there was a ticketing officer getting on the bus who had short man syndrome so needed to feel superior by fining me €50 as I didn’t purchase the ticket when I first entered the bus (173 from Verona)… even though I did purchase a ticket. ✓ What Happened?Used this app loads over the past few years and it was great. Choose your tickets pay using Apple Pay. Very straightforward. In July I came and found that despite selecting more than one ticket it would only sell you one at a time. Back in September and it’s still only allowing one ticket per transaction, has stopped allowing Apple Pay so I had to prat around putting all my card details in twice plus they charge a 30 cent commission per ticket. ✓ Cannot create account to buy ticketThis app is not bad for checking routes and the bus timetables. However you cannot create an account and therefore you cannot buy a ticket on the app with a number outside of Italy as it doesn’t send you a confirmation code ever. ✓ Almost totally unusableTried to register like other reviewer but couldn’t receive SMS code to activate- even trying various combinations of UK or Italy code, with and without first zero. Nothing worked. Could access timetables and route numbers, but live tracker was not always reliable. At one point while waiting the tracker showed two stops away, then it leapt to two stops past us, even though there was only one road. The bus turned up five minutes later. Also we found buses on two of our trips to be delayed between 30 and 60 minutes. Not good in August heatwave with a family. ✓ Can’t receive SMSLike other reviewers, this app is completely useless because I can’t get SMS on a foreign number. So now we can’t take a bus that is the only mode of transportation to a reservation. Completely pointless to even require creating an account to use this app. But like my experience with most other Italian logistics, it’s very a very similar experience.
