One Finger Death Punch II for Positive User Reviews

Merely a perfect recreation of the PC game (bugs)I can now say that I have officially hit the limit of how far I can travel in this game, having achieved 1600 stars I have accomplished what could be the greatest fast fighting game I’ve played in years. The gameplay almost entirely matches if not perfectly recreates how One Finger Death Punch 2 used to be on the PC (though I don’t have a PC, and have yet to wait for the Australian Switch release soon), even if it comes with some compromises in order to run. The gameplay is fluid, fast and can go even faster depending on how good you are, and the confetti that flies around is sure to keep you entertained for a while longer for as it says, “to be played in bursts”. From beginning to end I can call this game a 5 star for its perfect replication of the PC game, at a surprisingly low cost too. Sure there are 16 training missions to get past first but once you get through, the fun never stops until you drop. All that remains is to allow us to reveal its secrets that originally occurred in the PC version. Bug and missing features: Did I say perfect replication? Well, a mobile port usually comes with some bugs at hand. First, the Horse Game bug. At times where you are allowed to ride the horse and swish at some enemies, there is a probability that attacking the enemy will result in killing the enemy and causing a miss at the same time. That probability is very high, so it is recommended to be fixed. Second, the Throw Game bug. At random points in the game where you allowed to throw many weapons at once (one weapon at a time), a bug will happen where the game will strangely register a miss when throwing a projectile, preferably when the enemies get really close. This can ruin a perfect 0 miss run so that should be fixed too. Finally, the Plinko bug. The minigame will usually go as normal, until it lands in one of the three pockets. Landing in the pockets does nothing, so I should’ve stopped at 1425 stars. Wanna know how I got 175 more? I played until the plinko ball achieved high downward velocity into one of the three pockets, breaking through the strange bugged barrier stopping me from triggering a mob round or bonus round. This allowed me to access the plinko rounds despite being forced back by the bug. This bug has the potential to lock away 35 extra levels to play in, with each having three pockets of varying gameplay, so that’s the top priority. Onto the missing features. I have noticed that after the 35th and final plinko level, no cutscene was triggered, strange for a cutscene of the PC game to not trigger in the mobile version, but I guess that’s just me and hardware limitations. Also, several significant features of the original game are missing such as the survival rounds and gauntlets, so I’d like to see that. Lastly, the secrets of the game. I cannot access them without you allowing me access to do so. The directional icons, what sense do they make if I don’t have a joystick or keyboard? And yes, the SDG Bonus Round, without the contact screen I can’t access it. I wonder why the achievements are there in the first place? Don’t forget the most important missing feature, the manual speed modifier. Perform better to increase speed, perform worse to decrease speed. Despite the announcer stating a capability to manually adjust the game’s speed, I still haven’t found it. If I wanted to immediately force the game into x3 speed, how about I do it myself instead of repeat the same first training level over and over. Otherwise, I would’ve accessed the red button for that if it weren’t for a lack of control sticks. Even if I don’t have access to these missing features, I must say you’ve outdone yourselves creating this beautiful mobile port. This review was made as I play the game in the iPad Pro 1st gen 12.9” device, though any 12.9” iPad Pro device can be used. Hell, the iPad Pro might even tackle the high performance of the PC version..Version: 1.2.0

Plinko Stages BrokenWas an amazing game up until the plinko stages. They don’t work!.Version: 1.2.0

Awesome. So funReally enjoyed this game. Glad to see it in ios.Version: 1.0.1

I’m a ninja!Awesome game! Makes you feel like a total warrior. Loved it on PC and it’s great on mobile. Play a couple quick rounds on your way to work or play until your eyes hurt. Either way, you won’t be sorry. It’s a bonus that this is a premium game. It’s great not to be smothered with ads and in-app purchases. I just want to play and this game lets me do that. 5 stars!.Version: 1.0.1

Great till the ending levelsThey make the last levels impossible to beat. Lost interest once I hit these levels. Sad, I was having fun. It was only a couple of bucks, so I didn’t feel that bad deleting it..Version: 1.2.1

Speed adjustmentsThe speed adjustments are awesome. The game basically adjusts its difficulty so you never feel bored or frustrated, which is brilliant and brilliantly done. Makes it so a larger audience can play, even if action isn’t normally your thing. It’s also the control scheme, which is so fluid and simple. You tap left or right, that’s it. Brilliant. The narration, animations, and music are all amazing and make it a chaotic fun experience, and so many levels??? An absolute steal for $2. I’m so glad this one is premium, thank you so much for making it a clean, one-time purchase experience. Please add the survival mode and whatever else is missing. I would also love to be a cat. Finally, the settings are a bit confusing because they’re all just icons. Most of them are self-explanatory but some are not, like the fist or the skull, what do those do??.Version: 1.1.0

An Amazing Gaming ExperienceWell, I finally beat, One Finger Death Punch II, and I have to say that I find this to be one of the best iOS games I've ever played, bar none. Though, truth be told for an overall completion percentage I only have 77% done. That's because I didn't get 5-stars on every single stage. Which, some of them are just insane with what they throw at you in my opinion. But, I have completed every single stage or level or whatever you want to call it. I do plan to go back and try to 5-star all the levels I didn't get that on hopefully. I also almost have all my skills at 3 points each too. The perfectionist and completion-ist in me will undoubtedly have me slaving away to try and get 5-stars on every single level that I didn't already. But, this game provides me with so much joy that even the frustration of getting beat down in the game is rewarding, haha. Overall, though, this to me is one of the most exhilarating and coolest games I've played on not only iOS but just in general honestly. There are very few titles out there that I have a hard time putting down while playing and that have so much re-playability for me. With, One Finger Death Punch II, though, I started every single day since I bought this game playing it for an hour or so. And I have to say now that I've mostly beaten the game that I'm sad to see my time with it end. As I mentioned I'll most likely try to go back and get 5-stars on all the stages that I didn't previously. Yet, I still have this feeling that I wish I could start over from the beginning. It's been so long since any game besides something such as Minecraft, Borderlands, Quake III Arena, has grabbed my attention and my devotion this intensely. I seriously love that feeling and cherish it as a gamer, especially with how rare that feeling can be for me. I also should say that, without ruining it for other players, that I really liked and appreciated what was shown at the end when you beat the game. It was really cool I thought and made me appreciate and adore this title even more. It's also funny once you reach a certain point in the game what you're shown. I won't spoil anything though :P. After mostly finishing this game I cannot wait for One Finger Death Punch III now to come out hopefully. Or, really any new games that this awesome developer releases. I'll be first in the proverbial line to purchase anything you guys put out. Most especially if you continue to sell your amazing games for one fair price like this one, with no manipulative free-to-play mechanics, in-app purchases or obnoxious advertisements. You just pay one fair price and you're done with it, i.e. how it should always be done and how it always was done from the beginning before immorality and greed took over gaming. So, I wanted to review this game but also I wanted to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to this developer for creating and selling one of the most entertaining, unique, exhilarating, funny, professionally made and polished and one of the best video games I've ever played on any platform. I cannot thank you both enough for all the time and hard work that you no doubt put into this obvious work of passion and love. It's so refreshing to see and know that there are still folks out there who create and sell games for the sheer love of gaming that they have themselves and not just to try and scam and rip people off. Thanks for that devotion to quality gaming, this incredible game and God bless. iPhone 8 Plus/ iOS 13.6.Version: 1.2.1

Amazing rhythm gameAfter playing the first game i am very impressed at the whole scene right here maybe apart from like the horse rounds but yk i get what theyre tryna do.Version: 1.2.1

Neo in your handsLove this game. Been waiting eagerly to unleash my skills..Version: 1.0.1

Love em bothI was so happy to support the devs for a couple bucks when this sequel came out. HUGE fan of stick figures fighting and these games ROCK! However , the first had a lot more going for it. But As a f2p game there are ads and even an energy system that limits play and with just 3 dollars the 2nd game bypasses that paywall; AWESOME! Saying that tho this series seems to have lost the awesome progression of the first. All the different styles and items to unlock...Now the sequel? it comes with a weak perk tree (perk platter?) Half the fun of the first was customizations and game breaking combos. I’m so torn. After buying this one all I wanna do is play the first again. I LOVE the updated graphics, animations and seeing the dev’s OCs in the background but I feel it’s lacking what hooked me the first time around. TL;DR Fun, fast game for cheap. If anything, play the first for free and save your resources for a cool fighting style and the items will come in time from chests....Version: 1.3.0

Simple and funFor the price, it’s such a good deal for a game like this where you can have almost unlimited times of fun..Version: 1.2.1

Truly just amazingIt’s the perfect stickman fighting game- you know the one you expect to find but can never quite seem to find. Well this is that game… and it’s absolutely amazing..Version: 1.3.0

Matrix Style Action! In my opinion, the closest any video game has come to making me feel like I’m playing The Matrix. Love this game!.Version: 1.2.0

Amazing I really enjoyed itNon stop action... so addictive. Perfect game while I’m sitting in my home with nothing to do because of Covid..Version: 1.0.1

Love itA great game for mobile..Version: 1.0.1

Love the game but just one requestThis game is amazing and only for 2$ well worth the price it is a great game to keep you occupied so if your looking for some fun get it and for that request it would be pretty cool if there were cinematic skills such as more executions or nemesis I would love that overall great game.Version: 1.2.0

Wow!I’m just insanely picky, and this games rocks!.Version: 1.0.1

Awesome addicting! This game is so simply addicting, the action is just crazy! No brainer to purchase and play!!! Devs, I wish I knew what a couple of settings do other than the ones that can be seen visually..Version: 1.1.0

I love this gameI already completed the game on my computer. And now I’m replaying it on Hope. This game is amazing at being simple all the while making the player feel like a god of combat. Silver Dollar games did a great job..Version: 1.3.0

Phenomenal.Much better than the original, which was outsourced terribly on iOS. Sadly, there’s no endless survival mode like in the PC version, but it still has the full campaign, which is outstanding and plays beautifully on mobile..Version: 1.2.1

Awesome sequel!!!They say the sequel is never as good as the original... they were wrong!!!! I loved the first game and this is in my opinion a PERFECT sequel! So many new game mechanics and no ads!!!!.Version: 1.2.1

One flawGreat game, no IAP nonsense to bog it down, but it doesn’t let you listen to music or a podcast while you play. fix that and it’s perfect.Version: 1.2.0

Thank you devs!!!Best mobile app I’m my opinion just got done 5 staring all the levels I love the replayability I played the first one when I was quite young so when I found this I was ecstatic I love every bit of the game the only thing I could ask is for them to make a third game thank you for the memory’s and all the fun times had playing this..Version: 1.3.0

LOVE YOU GAME DEVELOPERS!!!!THE BEST GAME IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!!.Version: 1.3.0

I love thisWay better than the first one! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.Version: 1.3.0

Amazing! AddictiveThank you so much for this great game. Guys there’s so MUCH content for such a low price. No In App purchases, no ads just a great game for a low price. Please we need more of these games.Version: 1.1.0

Never gets old!Love this game!! Whenever I pick it up I’m fully engaged with it. Love the different challenges and collecting all the stars for the leaderboard. With tons of special abilities to unlock, your dude just gets more and more powerful and fun to watch (if you can take your eyes off the action. One of my favorite mobile games of the year!.Version: 1.2.1

Best. Game. Ever.Seriously. Simple, satisfying, butter-smooth, amazing upgrades, weapons galore. Every time I play, I feel better after. By far the best game I’ve ever played for stress relief. Also, these devs are clearly gamers, as there’s none of that ad junk or other grindy filler. Just open it up, play for 10 or 20 min, feel great, and you’ll probably even get a skill or two to make the game better. Def Must Buy. 100/100!!.Version: 1.2.1

Great game. Please add survival mode. Then it would be the full experience. That would be worth 5 stars..Version: 1.1.0

It isF***ing azong.Version: 1.3.0

Best game ever!!!Yo this jawn rocks!!!!.Version: 1.2.0

Great game but modes missing?Game is fantastic but would like to play the endless modes. Even the screenshots show 4 endless towers but they don’t seem to be available..Version: 1.0.1

Love the game…just got something to sayThe timing of the skills is always awful. A skill that takes out an entire screen of enemies is always activated when only 1 enemy is on screen. They’re a bit of a waste a lot of the time..Version: 1.3.0

I use two fingersThis game tells you not to be a perfectionist and then rewards you with legendary accolades for being perfect. The action is fast and non stop and the progression of speed matches your own ability and reaction time going up or down, so you always feel that progression. No thinking or begging for more cash to buy gems to unlock things. Just pure carnage and awesome voice over that makes you feel like a Kung Fu master..Version: 1.0.1

Hahaha ALMOST PerfectSo... Is the ball supposed to stay on the screen forever after the Epilogue levels? I only did Level 1 and after that the ball just glitched. Couldn’t even do Level 1 or any level after. So idk. When you’re too fast for the game to register but going slower kills you. *F-77 Music stops* “Don’t be a Perfectionist.” After getting a Perfect. 10/10 Would get an Existential Crisis again..Version: 1.2.1

ImpressiveThis sequel is such a huge upgrade from the first. I went back to the original just to compare and the difference is crazy. Good purchase..Version: 1.3.0

This is the sequel I’ve been waiting for.*too busy playing this game to give a review*.Version: 1.2.1

I’m all out of bubble gum!Not just another beat em up and don’t be fooled by simple graphics this game is legit bad***. So if you are all out of yummy bubble gum, get this game and kick some... you know the rest..Version: 1.1.0

Perfect on mobileWas a fan of the original game one the PC. This seems to bring everything great from the original and ramps it up to 11. Looks and runs great, loads of content.Version: 1.0.1

WowAmazing game..Version: 1.2.1

Awesome butCan you please update to where you can manually control the speed in which the enemies run out like on the switch.....other than that it's perfect.Version: 1.2.0

I know it’s about the first one ok?The second game is fantastic and worth the price, but the first game doesn’t work anymore with the V5.19 update a year ago. I ask of you, please fix it as I prefer the first more than the second..Version: 1.2.1

Warning - read before purchase, false advertising! This game does not load correctly on an Ipad Air 2, you will be presented with a black screen on the first level, you will hear sound but no display. The developers will tell you to upgrade to IOS 13 which I was already on, buyer beware! Edit:- issue with IOS 13 now fixed, loving the game now which seems like it was born to be on the Ipad 😀 Thank you devs for addressing this, full marks all round now, highly recommend this game 👍.Version: 1.2.1

A couple more thing to add...I was hoping that maybe on your next update, we can be able to customize our own characters looks and style besides skin color. And maybe choose different types of martial arts that’ll suit our best interests style: Boxing, Drunken Fist, Tai Kwan Do, Jujitsu, Jeet Kun Do, Wing Chun, Karate, Capoeira, Kickboxing, etc. It’ll bring so much hype and favoritism to this game. Hope to hear your guys’ feedbacks. 👍🏽😄.Version: 1.3.0

Please!!!Please add survival mode! That’s the main part we love about this game!.Version: 1.1.0

Great gameVery fast pace and you need quick reflexes, from variety to animation quality this game is an overall improvement from the first as to be expected from a sequel..Version: 1.3.0

Amazing GameIf you are in to fast paced games you should like this game, it is amazing. I have played many mobile games an most of them are complete garbage…. This however is a different beast altogether. The game starts off very easy as most do and the interface is very simple, “touch left touch right, it is as simple as that.” The difficulty soon ramps up though and you are confronted with many different enemy types to keep things interesting. The graphics are simple yet extremely affective with the colours and graphical flourishes a sight to behold. The games is massive with huge replay ability, I have had this game for months an amazing still playing regularly. Enjoy..Version: 1.3.0

So much value herePlayed and beat this game multiple times over the last year or so and it’s still my top choice for a fighting game on mobile. The controls are easy and tight, meaning if I mess up I know it was on me and not the games controls. The verity of enemies, levels, in depth skill tree, move set, etc I can go on and on. They really outdid themselves here and I feel although the game has a high review score, that it’s still a criminally underrated game compared to others that I constantly see on the front game page in the App Store. If you’re considering getting this game then just do it. I promise you that you won’t regret it. It’s a game with infinite replay ability and will keep you very much entertained. Oh and the artwork on some of the special moves and such are absolutely amazing. Whoever the artist was on those background visuals has amazing talent. Only gripe I have is I feel there’s stuff missing based on the achievement list. I could be wrong but I don’t think I am. You get a code after beating a part of the game that doesn’t work. The plinco game also doesn’t work. There’s definitely some game modes missing but even with those things the game is top tier. At the price it’s at? Well worth it in my opinion.Version: 1.3.0

This. Game. Is. RidiculousThe first one was great on PC, difficult to imagine they could top something so perfect. And now I can take it wherever I go. Worth the money, definitely..Version: 1.1.0

Game is great! But....How do you adjust the manual speed?.Version: 1.1.0

Where's the survival? This game is fantastic. Well worth the price and more. But....Where's the survival mode? It seems like an obvious omission..Version: 1.2.0

AmazingI love the combat it’s really snappy the art is amazing the only problem is the second plinko level doesn’t work for me.Version: 1.2.0
