✓ Update broke the gameI dont know whats happened. Graphics look better but everything else is broken. Need to fix the bugs this was actually a decent game. Blank screens on every page except the battle page. And then cant click ok and return to menu when youv won the battle. Sort it out.Version: 3.7.3
✓ Great game major flawsGreat game really fun to play but two major flaws the developers should look into is you only get 20 energy and every fight costs 5, then it takes forever just to regain 1 energy point you might as well play the game for 10 min in the morning and don’t bother till lunch and then again dinner it can not and will not hold your attention unless you want to unburden your wallet. And secondly MAJOR bug is when you’re playing and down to the last 3-4 players the AI or “other players” will somehow miraculously go from a small manageable number of troops you might have a chance against to over 100k with NO kills to warrant the addition of troops and smoke you. Don’t know how many times I killed 2 of 3 last players and got blown out by the last player that originally had less troops than me. So if you’re looking to waste 10 min here or there or drop untold amount of money download and play it otherwise please don’t waste your time.Version: 4.0.5

✓ Freeze and have to close appLove the game but as you are obsessed with ads you are ruining it.... ✓ Not worth spending money for upgradingI’ve actually enjoyed this game, and I’m someone who’s willing to spend some money if it’s good entertainment (especially since we have such a lack of options outside the home these days). However with this game I’ve consistently seen that I get no advantage when I spend money. Even if I get to use a bunch of the jewels to upgrade, immediately it’s like you’re put with other people at a higher level so it’s the same chance of winning as before. I bought things a couple of times to try it out and ended up just being frustrated. So fun game if you I don’t mind slowly trying to build yourself up, but definitely wouldn’t recommend spending money to try and end up a lot stronger or anything. Update: Now it’s not worth playing at ALL. If you don’t spend money to buy the special powerful upgrade horde thing, you don’t even have a chance. (And if you do - then see previous review.) ✓ Was great until the latest update.This game was pretty challenging and entertaining. Then the Magma Horde was added. It is 280 times as powerful as someone starting the game. I used to enjoy trying to beat opponents using different strategies to build up the size of your army. Now it doesn’t seem to matter. Anyone that has a magma horde can eliminate your army in seconds. Basically anyone that spent money on anything prior to the Magma Horde wasted their money and should get a refund or exchange what the spent for the magma horde. I’ve played a lot since the new army was introduced and I have won 2 times in the last 2 days. If you are introducing new characters that’s great. I think it really adds to the experience. But the new characters shouldn’t be so powerful that there is no point in starting or continuing the game. Will get five stars if the game play is adjusted..Version: 3.9.0
✓ Unbalanced with Magma HordeThis game used to be fun, but now with the overpowered skills and abilities of the magma horde it’s a waste of time. I just found an army that was 60-70% weaker than me, but since it was someone who spent money on Magma horde he still won. His soldiers exploded causing huge damage to me and his abilities wiped me out. Way too strong... now it’s a pay to win game!.Version: 3.9.0
✓ Too HaphazardThis game is pretty fun, but the mechanics of how you grow your army during battle are too haphazard. That is, when you defeat an army, you add their troops to your army - which is great, IF you defeat them. If you fight their army down to their last man, and then some other army kills their last man - they get the full army added to their numbers and you get nothing but your own war-ravaged army left to now fight a second army that is instantly twice as strong! Once that happens a few times, the game stops being fun. You should get the percentage that you defeat, or something like that- otherwise, there is no skill required and it just becomes random who will win..Version: 4.0.3

✓ Too many adsNow before I begin, I understand the purpose for ads. I truly enjoy this game and would give it more stars if it weren’t for a couple things. First, the game doesn’t seem to develop or progress and I see myself getting bored eventually but im still having fun with it. Secondly, energy takes too long to refresh. Or you can get watching ads or spend a huge amount of gems to replenish… and they don’t just give away gems. Thirdly, ads…. I get that it’s a free game and deal with it. But, I’ve paid money for things, as I do so some of the game makers can make something if I enjoy. Also, as far as I can tell, I have yet to play against a human. The opponents regularly run into rocks and fail to move around them as a poor AI might. ✓ One major problemHonestly it’s a cool concept. But the one MAJOR issue with this game is there doesn’t seem to be a competitive progression. And that’s unbelievably disappointing. A lot of the combat is RNG anyway. I noticed this and thought to myself it’s probably still a new game and will see major improvements soon. Upon further research i found it has been available for over a year at this point. I’m holding onto the hope that they add some sort of progression system to this game besides basic and seemingly pointless leveling. Not to mention in a game of 12 players coming in 2nd place makes you lose the only bit of progression available. You have to get first every time to see an addition to your sum of trophy’s. ✓ Life’s to short for so many adsThis is a great game BUT you watch an ad before entering battle, another ad as you exit battle. If during the fight you find a chest it’s yet another ad to open the chest, if you happen to win the battle you get troop cards to upgrade your troops sometimes multiple times and yes you guessed it each individual upgrade means watching an ad. All of this before you open you daily free chests that require you to watch an ad. All in all your time will be spent watching ads 80% of the time and actually playing the game 20% of the time. ✓ Fun, But feels Half FinishedI mean look, putting aside the in-game pay upgrades and ads - which is just common in today’s free games, this game has promise and hooks you early... that’s where it then fails. It has one mode of play, which becomes repetitive. This could be easily changed up. The army power gained when defeating other opponents adds to yours - cool. But every single match starts off with strategy and game-skill, but every match also ends with just one goliath mopping up. Feels like it could be changed to allow strategy throughout a match. Maybe power caps? Not sure - but this is one of the more frustrating points to the game. Basically even if you make it to the last two teams alive - you might as well give up if they have sufficiently more points than you. The spawn points! What is going’s on here??? Sometimes I can recruit a lot from spawn sometimes I have to run all over to just get troops to start fighting- very inconsistent! Rankings - I don’t see how this game can last the long haul if the keep the rankings as simple and long term as they are now. ✓ Why did they reboot the gameI have been playing this game for months and happen to be in the App Store and saw it recommended for me. It said GET instead of OPEN and I was very confused as I still have the app on my phone. Turns out instead of updating their game they rebooted it and I have lost months worth of progress. ✓ It’s fun but isn’t a fair game.This was fun to play, but it isn’t fair to people. In the end, this game doesn’t rely on strategy or ranking up skills. When you begin to get into the higher levels with higher ranked people, if you want to win you have to get the cheats, which you can only get by paying or watching videos. Even when I watch the videos, it seemed like some of the other teams really had an unfair advantage. One moment they would be lower leveled, then they would be twice my level, and not even in a large span of time. This would happen in seconds. I’m not entirely sure if this is because they payed the game, but it sure seems like it. ✓ Not as good as other similar games.This game is fun-ish. I put a couple stars for it being a good idea with somewhat decent execution. It follows the .io method, but those other games have a much better hold on that type of game. The problems with the game are major. First, the “energy” is definitely a money play. I get apps making money, but this game is a money play on many different levels. The .io games do their best to have a good game that you want to spend money on, then you can grind for the awards anyways. Second, the ads in game aren’t bad exactly, but the ads for the game are unbelievably terrible. Outside all that, all these types of games should be looked at in a microscopic way. Bad games are bad. There needs to be a line in the sand on ads. Time wasting, free games with ok amounts of ads are good. Time wasting, free games like this are not. ✓ Lots of potentialYet another “energy” game. A tired and very boring mechanic that, like many other greedy developers is exploited to the max. Even worse however, is that in between waiting for the energy to regenerate, there is literally nothing to do. That all to familiar, pop up offer of an energy pack when you run out for £2 for 20 more minutes of game and play. Top tip devs - this doesn’t make it free to play, and for a game that relies on player activity, makes the mechanic nonsensical, and this is why you’re getting lots of complaints about mainly overpowered AI (which frankly, could be a lot better too) because the energy systems limits people’s play time. It’s a shame, as other than this the concept and game play is great fun and leaves loads for development and added content. Personally I don’t mind spending money on improving my avatar etc, but not when I can’t play that avatar as much as I like when I like, but I always draw the line on having to play if I’m limited to 4/5 games every couple of hours..Version: 3.7.6

✓ Listen to the negative reviews!I have never given a review on a game before but this one really annoys me. Every negative comment is spot on. It’s not really a PVP game and it forces you to pay if you want to actually win anything. The stages are repetitive and there’s no new army men or anything. Immediately starting off (I’m at level 46) the computers are at 9 million and I have only 800K. The placement of the pieces don’t make sense and the battling is crap. It seems like they make it impossible for you to win if you don’t pay to upgrade your stuff. ✓ Totally Broken RankingsThere is no ranking reset. I am crawling my way to level 100 after days of play and the ENTIRE leader board starts at level 9900 or more. It would take months of consistent play to even have a hope of seeing yourself in ranking. I don’t need to be in top 100, but would like to have Some context if I’m going to pay to play a game. ZERO social interaction besides running around in a shrinking ring. Stupid. The playability is high otherwise and progression system is good. ✓ Punishment for leveling upSo the game is fun without any question. I bought a lot of upgrades. I don’t recommend doing that because the game punishes you for leveling up. Things you were able to do before leveling up to 50, you are no longer able to do. So if you want to play you must continually buy gems because the energy runs out and you can only revive it by watching a video once per day after lev 50. Same with the bonus gold, frenzy. Before lev 50 it’s unlimited after lev 50 it’s once per day. Like I said the developers punish you for advancing..Version: 3.9.0

I don’t mind a few ads here and there so that’s not much of a problem, but this is seriously one of the most unbalanced games I’ve ever seen. It will put you into rooms with people who are WAAAAAY overpowered all the time so you’ll end up winning maybe one in four or five games. When you only have enough energy to play 4 games in an hour, there stops being a point to even opening it up. I’m not sure what metrics they use for putting players together, but it needs to be fixed. Gems are extremely slow to gain unless you spend money. Not worth spending money for though. 100% computer is playing against you a lot of the time. These games are not real people, at least a lot of the time. The difficulty increases like crazy. One level you win then the next game every persons troops are at 1 million power when they have 2 troops. So the ranking system needs work because I'm not spending money to upgrade my troops. For instance when opening chests more often than not the items are not given to you. The balancing is broken as well as when you join a game you will be classed with players and ‘ai’ that are way above your level and you stand no chance, especially when the side of the map you spawn on has literally zero troops to recruit and the higher level players get all of them and win the game almost instantly.
