✓ Don’t be deceivedThis is a poor excuse for a second line app as I have used a few. Disconnects my calls for no reason (yes it is the app’s fault) Cannot check my own voice mail (does not allow me) Voicemail default message sounds robotic and unprofessional. Plus, when trying to get a refund I realized THERE IS NO WAY TO DIRECTLY CONTACT THIS COMPANY. Awful!.Version: 1.0.0
✓ RIP OFF!Paid $99 for a phone number to use for my business. App is advertised as having unlimited calls and texts, all of a sudden, numbers are showing up as blocked, and I can’t send messages. I get a pop up saying I’ve reached my limit and I have to PAY to be able to get more text messages. Reached out to support to see if it was a bug. Nope. They told me the same thing. ✓ Don’t get this 2nd phone appBefore you get this app, they will tell you unlimited calling and texting but, it’s not true. You pay a monthly fee for membership ,then you have to buy minutes and pay for texting after you run out of a few texts or calls. The voice mail doesn’t work and when a caller calls you it says line is busy or no longer than in service. The customer service has no phone number to talk to and forget about getting customer service because it’s an email that takes at least 24 hours to get back to you. I’m real disappointed when I emailed customer service and finally got an answer to why it cost to add funds when I already paid my supposedly unlimited calls and text, they sent me only instructions to cancel..Version: 1.12.0

✓ Scam trial serviceWhen canceling the trial account the app states that a request has been made and you will be notified of the cancelation within 24hrs. In reality the cancelation never occurs until you manually do it by deleting the app or choosing the option in the app yourself. I was scammed over $100 this way. ✓ Low functioning, many crashes/ errorsI’m a monthly subscriber for my business and this app needs some help. It won’t let me access my voicemail and then it gives me an error message that says something along the lines of “permission not granted” and then to leave feedback or report from the app it tells me that “email is unavailable” if this isn’t resolved I will be calling to be refunded for paying for a service so inadequate that I can’t access my own voicemail or report it not working. ✓ 2nd Line Under Investigation By FCC - USDOJDo not buy this app. CoverMe Inc. dba 2nd Line (and Apple) is under investigation by the FCC for false & misleading advertising, Data Throttling (look it up), Fraudulent Billing Practices, Extortion. CoverMe dba 2nd Line (in collision with Apple), advertises “unlimited call / text” plans. Within several weeks of usage, they block access to incoming/outgoing calls/texts & blocks access to voicemail, unless you pay an extra fee, falsely claiming you have exceeded the number of calls/texts in your plan, and falsify fake call/text logs to back this claim - even though the plan you paid is unlimited. They further will try to use a term “fair usage”, and they have the right to limit your calls/texts as they choose - the term “fair usage” has been outlined as illegal, not a legal term or term recognized by the law or the FCC.
