✓ I love the simplicity of this app.I wish more apps were designed like this... minimal clutter, big buttons, simple concept, very quick to use. For example, to record an expense (when you have the ‘submit expense when tagged’ setting switched on) it’s often literally just two taps and you’re done. By default, decimals are switched off (cents/pennies) so all expenses are rounded to the nearest full number (euro/pound/dollar) which I like, it’s another way to increase simplicity/speed of use that I wouldn’t have thought of. Other similar apps are more fiddly and take longer to use, and with everyday use these small delays add up to the point where I stop using them. I also love the way you can use widgets on the homescreen to track how much money you have left in your budget that day/week/month (I have one of each). The widgets from this app are the only ones I’ve found useful enough to keep switched on. I hope with future updates the developer will continue to prioritise speed, simplicity and ease of use..Version: 1.2.5
✓ Fast, clean, and fun budget trackerDoes my bank track my spending? Yes. Is it ever fun to log into banking apps? No. Do I trust Mint (or any other cloud-based company) with the entirety of all my financial data? Hell no. At first I thought, won’t Nudget require more work for me, in order to enter everything I spend? Yes and no. After only a few minutes filling out my basic income and spending numbers, I see how it’s a really fun and fluid way to visualize my spending in order to help me track and plan. I could do this with some boring spreadsheet on my computer, but ew. I can do this in this adorable app that feels like a hug. Plus, I do this anyway when I periodically check on my spending. This app is a tool that makes tracking more fun, like a game. I know that incentivizes me way more than a spreadsheet or bank app. Plus have you seen those widgets? ✓ Effortlessly simpleThis is an incredible budgeting app, it’s simple beautiful aesthetic is matched by its to the point features, no bloat and no faff. The thing I love the most is that everything important, e.g. inputting or viewing previous transactions are available right away in the least amount of clicks! I also really like the budget is an overall view first, making it clear how much comes in and out within your chosen period (month, week etc) and adding new reoccurring expenses is really quick and easy. The insights are great, clear to the point and all useful information! I really like that I can breakdown everything by day, week, month, quarter or year on insight, history or budget pages. Lastly, new features are coming thick and fast! Being able to test new experimental features is fantastic and i think it’s truly amazing that new features do not take away from the least clicks as possible simplicity. ✓ Great, except the latest update cut off half the numeric padIPhone 7, iOS 14.4. Half the numerical pad got cut off (only get to 4-6 row) everthing else are double space or take up 2 lines. If you can fixed it, it will be great!.Version: 2.0

✓ Big improvements in recent updateI reviewed this app around a month ago due to some updates that were made that felt to be removing some features and making the app less intuitive to use. Really glad to see the developer has heard recent feedback and worked to get this app back to where it was whilst still improving functionality and aesthetics. ✓ Simple and obviousI’ve tried and quit several budgeting apps, usually because they over-think the problem. This app was simple and obvious within the first few minutes of use. My problem with most budgeting apps is that they require too much attention and grooming. I just need something to log the major categories, and track monthly spending. I was able to set up my monthly budget and comprehend the obvious tracking tools in minutes. This app seems to have plenty of category-based tracking and reporting features, but they stay out of the way until I want to see them. I combine Nudget with Excel to track and compare my data over time (Nudget works wonderfully with Excel, with the easy export data feature!). -It’s FAST (no waiting to load!!), -beautifully designed, -totally customizable (LOVE that I can create my own categories, unlike most major budgeting apps), -and very affordable (yay for no subscription fees)! ✓ Simple yet so usefulI’ve only ever used apps that sync to my bank account and do most of the work for me so this was quite the change for me but after losing my budgeting app time and time again I wanted to go for something that allowed me to see exactly where my money is and isn’t setting this app was easy but did take some work with having to manually put in my income and expenses but once I did that it’s great gives me a simple amount of money I can spend and that’s it sure you have to keep on top of putting in your expenses to get the most out of this app but at the same time you know exactly where you money is plus I love the fun Halloween update (really hope we get more holiday themes in the future).Version: 1.3.4
✓ Needs a bit more flexibilityI have money saved up but not a high enough income at the moment and the app doesn’t help with this as it only counts your income. I simply turn on notifications from my banking apps to notify me about every transaction, and whenever I swipe my card or do any other transaction I get a bank notification. Putting that info in this app takes seconds. I particularly like the easy overview switch between daily/weekly/ fortnightly/monthly budget views. Input is quick and customisable (pro tip: if you don't use it daily, go to settings and choose to display the date in the transaction window). ✓ Clean app, no more issues!Love the style and feel of this app! Didn’t mind the price for a clean and simple user interface that does exactly what I need it to do. However! I have been unable to add any tags, the menu appears to be broken. I can click Edit and Done, but nothing changes and I’m unable to add the necessary tags to track my spending properly. Would love to see this fixed so I can use this app to its fullest potential! Edit: As it turns out, I’m an idiot! All I needed to do to save the tag I created was press “return” on my keyboard and sure enough, the tags worked. Props to the developer for reaching out super quickly and letting me know where I’d gone wrong. Definitely worthy of the 5 stars! ✓ Great design and idea but needs improvementsI love this app and I’m so excited about utilising it, I also love its simple UI and basic ideas but it needs many improvements to make it worth the money. I imagine some of these are in the pipeline but I’d love to see a few these come to the app to make it 5 stars! Some of these may be bugs so to try resolve that I’m using the iPhone 12 Pro Max on iOS 14.3 Improvements: - I know you can add income but I’d really like the ability to schedule income in the app for known upcoming payments that weren’t expected in the monthly budget and haven’t been received yet. - when signing up and also under settings I’d like to set my current balance so I can not only see what I’m spending but have a true representation of what I have left to spend and to extend on this maybe see when I get my next payment so I know when I can purchase things and have much I can spend. For example having £10 spending left near the start of a month is worse than £10 when a payment is around the corner. - to add with the income it could be nice to add upcoming outgoing money that isn’t recurring but still planned, to again better track future budget not only current budget. So far I think these are a nice goal but I’m sure there are many more suggestions and I’ll likely add to this list as I find more. I like the simplicity and I like that I get to input my own transactions and other info. The only reason I’m not giving the app the full 5 stars is because of the FAQ section and the customer service. I understand this is a smaller/newer app which is why there isn’t a lot of info in the FAQ section… But I’ve been trying to figure out to reset the app for a few weeks now and I can’t find. I love the tag features and how easy it makes it to categorize different purchases. ✓ The budget tracker I’ve been searching for!I love Nudget’s clean, cheerful design and the way it’s optimized for speedy entries. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to mark income/expenses as recurring. What would make this app absolutely perfect for me would be if I could log income/expenses as recurring bi-weekly (every two weeks) rather than just weekly or monthly. At the moment, I have to divide these bi-weekly transactions into weekly ones, which isn’t as helpful for tracking individual transactions. Overall, incredibly pleased :).Version: 3.3

I just want enough feedback to know where I stand in regards to spending compared to my recurring big expenses and my savings goal.
