✓ Energy is a problemThe game itself is fun but getting enough energy to play is a problem. To get more energy there is a freebie of 20 every 24hrs but other than that you either have to wait or buy. So to make one move you need to wait about 20 minutes. Also if I play at night and then come to play in the morning a lot of the time the energy has not even completely regenerated. There needs to be alternative to get energy even if it is limited. Other similar games let you watch ads in exchange for energy and it is by your own choice so for those who don’t want that as part of their experience they can avoid it. It’s a entertaining game and I do enjoy it but the effort and wait it takes each time I play lessens that experience for me..Version: 2.4.2
✓ Love the game but improvements neededI absolutely love this game, only had it a few days and already addicted to it, I would have given this 5 stars BUT…….you can’t play for more than 5 minutes at a time because everything uses energy and it takes so long to build back up!! It’s so frustrating to be getting into the game and then bam you can’t play again for a few hours! Please sort this bug out! ✓ StuckI, too, am a little frustrated with the pace of the game. It takes way too long to renew your energy unless you’re willing to fork out tons of money. ✓ Started off ok....It’s well made, great voice actors..cut scenes…I played for some time….Somewhat engrossed…Then all of a sudden..’I don’t have enough energy to preform this task’….….I’ve literally lost interest …You don’t get to play for very long…and it’s a slow going game to begin with.. ✓ Good game but creators are greedyI really enjoy the game but you get such a small amount of time playing before your energy runs out and you either have to stop playing or pay really high prices to continue. ✓ DO NOT GET THIS VERSIONTLDR: the energy mechanic stops you from playing the game and you lose interest in the otherwise good stories. Theres also a pay wall at certain point. Get it anywhere else This game is good, dont get me wrong. But this port is abysmal thanks to the god awful energy mechanic every mobile game seems to have. Actions cost anywhere from 5-30 points and it makes your energy drain insanely fast. There are ads and gems you can use to restore energy but at only a bonus 20 energy per hour with ads there is 0 point in wasting your time. They do provide enough gems that 2 weeks worth of play should net you a full refill if you can complete a story in that time (the energy mechanic making the stories artificially longer than they need to be) but with the cost of actions being so high its such a short amount of time its legitimately disappointing. Every other port of this game is much better and the stories are good, but the incessant need to incorporate micro transactions makes playing the game completely not worth it. Watch stories on youtube or purchase the steam version but DO NOT pay money into this, its a waste and you'll be left completely unsatisfied with your purchase. 1 obligatory star and 1 because i enjoyed the game on a different platform..Version: 2.10.11
✓ Energy goes too fastIt doesnt even show you how much energy you have while in game. All of a sudden you’re just out of money and prompted to buy more. The game does not generate enough bonus energy or diamonds to purchase more energy either the only way you can continue playing this game is to spend a boatload of money because the cheapest package is five dollars which will only get you one extra round of play so it’s not spending the money because that will be gone in a minute too. Its takes about 10 days collecting bonuses before you warn a bonus round. Wish it was not limited because its fun to explore and theres times i want to solve the entire case but in free mode it takes almost a week to do a case because of the limited play. also wish they had energy packs for $.99 they gave you at least 15 minutes of playtime. Love the idea of the game. Hate i cant play for more than about 5 minutes a day.Version: 2.10.2

✓ Unsolved mysteriesFirstly let me start by saying I love the games and the selection you have to choose from, but it is really expensive for the little energy you are given I have purchased the silver card to give myself more energy while playing the game but even that lasts little time and watching the video to claim 20 extra energy does not always register which is rather disappointing. I had 400 energy points gathered up and I was lucky if I managed to play for 5 minutes please do something to sort out these problems as it is really putting me off playing the game as I am sure it will for others as well..Version: 2.6.5
✓ Great game but energy reload too slowReally well made game but energy reload is way too slow so you end up losing where you’re at when playing as you get into the middle of finding solutions and then no more energy and you have to wait ages for it to reload. And even if you did buy extra energy it doesn’t even last you that long so why buy it... could have easily been 5 stars if it weren’t for the energy issue. ✓ Because you can’t give 01 is the lowest you’re allowed or I would give a 0. 1st time through I had to shrink to go in a hole, game glitched, closed it & restarted. I was normal size with no way to shrink again as potion had already been used. Emailed support, no reply. Deleted & started over. 2nd try same issues, no help from support. 3rd try, downloaded the update & now it takes over 40 minutes to download the game to play. If screensaver goes on I have to restart download again, from beginning. No help from support. As for actual game play it does have great graphics. The hidden object scenes are a little ridiculous as you have to click on items (random) to see what’s behind them but get penalized if you click too fast. Energy recharge is absolutely stupid. If you are playing for free count on playing once every 24 hours and from 15-30 minutes depending if you have a hidden object scene. Could be an awesome game if developers cared about their players. ✓ Recent change - find the object mini games - way too many!I’ve been playing theses games for several months, I even gave in and bought something to get access to all the games. I love the games, but the last few I’ve played are suddenly full of “find the objects” games. Every other thing to find is suddenly a “find the object” game. This uses up a huge amount of energy and is quite frankly the most boring part of the game and the complete opposite of why I like the investigation type puzzle stories in the first place. If it continues, that all the games are full of find the object mini games for every other object or task, then I’m afraid you’ve lost me..Version: 2.10.13

I am unaware of how much energy each action costs, the only way to see is if you pause the story. The argument of ‘letting the player know how much energy their action will cost breaking immersion’ is null and void when my immersion is broken anyway by being told out the blue that I can’t do anything cause I ran out of energy. ✓ Great set of games until...I have been enjoying the many games in this series but lately, seems like after the latest Mac update, I am unable to play the mini games within the setting. My mouse becomes inactive not only making it unable to be played but to get out of the screen and close the game. I also have my monitor set up as a touch screen and I still can't play the mini game. I have contacted support a couple times and still have heard nothing back from them. I deleted the game and restarted my computer (Mac Mini m2) and reloaded the game and still get them same issue. I tried a different game in the Hidden series and I get the same issue with that too, unable to play the mini game. I have since taken my game playing to my ipad but it is making me start over from the very beginning game and until I can finish that will be unable to play the Noir Chronicles:City of Crime. ✓ Not really free freeThis game is fun, unfortunately the fun is short lived, advertised as free however lives end way to soon. You can watch a video to get more free time however you can only do it one time per hour. Then after you used that a few times it goes to once every 4 hours, then 8 hours. It’s easy to lose interest or lose where your at in this game. If you are looking for a free free game I would look elsewhere! I also notice there are several reviews like this. And they do not respond to them. They are all about the $$$. You get a few minutes gameplay then wait to the next day for it to build up enough energy for you to play for a few minutes the next day. It’s really off putting. There is no way to earn more energy other than watching an ad once an hour which gets you approx 30 seconds more if you are lucky. Appreciate you want people to buy more energy to keep playing, but quite frankly you can’t get immersed in the game long enough to care. ✓ New updates have a negative impactI loved this game. Hands down one of my favorites to play throughout the day. The games and storylines are the perfect balance of challenging and engaging. For the most part, the games play well and the storylines are clear to follow. I also think the watching an ad to decrease energy usage percentage is brilliant. I didn’t even mind having to pay to unlock all of the stories because it truly was such a wonderful and enjoyable game. Only app I have ever paid for and I didn’t regret it. One of the best parts was the fact that I could use hints when needed for free. If there was a point where I was confused in game and not sure what the next step was, I could use hints and get back on track. Unfortunately, with the most recent upgrade, hints are now limited. Since the hints don’t always help and at times require more than one, this genuinely takes away from the game play. ✓ ENERGY!?!?!?!This energy issue is making it so I can’t enjoy the game. Right hen things start getting good, I get blocked by energy issues. This doesn’t compel me to buy any subscription. It just frustrates me and makes me not want to play. If you want to have energy management as part of the game, then give the player a status bar or counter so he can see how many moves he has left and choose carefully. I find it best to try different things in a game like this, but that method eats up my energy, I guess. And then I can’t actually solve the puzzle when I can because no energy. I love these kinds of games. They are my favorite to download. Yours could be at the top of the list, if you’d handle this energy issue better. ✓ The energy is an issueJust like everyone else, I feel this game is amazing but the energy is the issue. The graphics, stories, puzzles, and adventures, all top notch. However to play you have to use energy. Every action in the game uses an insane amount. For example each item found in the hidden object games is 5 points. It takes about 5 min for one point to regenerate and the game only gives you a free 20 per 24 hours, or 100 for competing a story other than that. This 20 is enough to maybe do 2 puzzles if that. If you need a hint that’s 10 points gone. It’s pretty expensive to buy the points as 600 is $5 and it goes very fast. There are also some glitches here and there where it’ll use the energy but not perform the action. Like some others have said, I would be willing to watch ads all day to earn points but that’s not an option at all. ✓ Energy system is disruptive , nice gamesGames in Unsolved are old games which you can download trial versions or purchase full games for. There is no customizable difficulty setting. It’s nice that there’s a collection all in one app, but the energy system is confusing and lacking. You can run out of energy and lose your entire train of thought and also not get much gameplay. My suggestion to Mundi would be to make the breakdown by chapter instead of by energy. Everything costs energy. Hints, clicking and object to pick it up, etc. only way to tell how much energy an action cost is after the action by comparing how much energy you had before and after the action. also I bought a starter pack that said it unlocked all 600 chapters. I have no idea what that means because the energy still ran out so unlocking doesn’t mean you get enough energy to finish a game. I am a fan of Mundi games and have played the full version of some of these games through separate purchases. However, I think Mundi screwed up here on energy. One of the other hidden object and puzzle developers haiku games has a better model in their AE mysteries app which limits you to 2 chapters of play before you have to wait to gain more keys to unlock chapters. AE does have ads though when chapters are loading and Unsolved does not. Another suggestion to have clean stopping points like the trial version of Mundi games.Version: 2.3.4

✓ This game is annoying on so many levels.I want to like this game but I’m thinking about deleting it. Players are expected to wander around mansions without a clue what we’re looking for or what our objective is. If I’m expected to look around a room for clues, I typically tap on doors and desk drawers. If I tap on the wrong door or drawer, I use up valuable energy. The rooms where I’m given a list of items to find are always dark with small items. I’m playing this on my phone, and even if I stretch the screen it’s still difficult to see. Matter of fact, all the rooms are poorly lit and hard to see. The hints have me go to a different room, examine a clue I don’t have the tools to do anything with, and then go back to the previous room. ✓ Needs improvementI share the same prime complaint with others here about the “limiting” energy factor to this game, but my reason is nuanced. You’re constantly slowed up from the storyline by needing to search piles of things that wipe you clean of your energy, to find one “useful item” to continue playing. My suggestion is either reduce the energy it takes to collect the items in the piles, or allow us to depart the pile when the useful item needed is found. I am never going to spend money on this game, I’ll be honest. So my willingness to play and give you ad revenue is based on whether I’ve got the good mood to deal with a short gameplay and little story progression. Additionally, there’s an issue where after you watch an ad, either to reduce energy cost by 20% or to get 20 more energy, that it glitches the sound in the app and you have to close the app and reopen just to have sound with the game again. Sometimes I have to watch ads twice just to get the reward to apply. It’s a good premise but it’s another pay-to-play that it appears they’ve intentionally made frustrating enough to make people spend money to play..Version: 2.11.5
✓ I love the game but !!!!!I think it’s pretty crazy how good these games are but the fact that you either have to wait so long to play when only play for a few moments , because your energy goes away sooo quickly or the fact that you can pay out crazy amounts of money and still be waiting 30 mins later. ✓ Good mystery, bad energy regenerationI enjoy playing this game because it’s a good mystery, however, I think the energy used to play the game isn’t worth buying. It isn’t intriguing enough for me to purchase or use money to get energy, I’m happy to wait until it regenerates on its own. ✓ Worst energy economy *ever*24 energy. That’s how much energy it takes to take out one item from your inventory & tack it up next to a puzzle so that it can be solved. Not how much energy you need in order to start solving the puzzle. No. *Just* the energy cost to take out a post-it note with some numbers on it. It takes 3 minutes for you to earn 1 energy. Which means that it takes 72 minutes, or over an hour of waiting in order to pluck *one* item out of your inventory. Period. Their recent *solution* to this energy economy is coming out with a purchasable package that gives you an extra 100 energy every day for a week. It takes 30 minutes to earn that much energy by just waiting & you are paying $6.99 for *four* extra object interactions *per day* for a week. $6.99 to save 3.5 hours of wait time in *a week*. They make it look like a good deal by having high numbers in the packages, but don’t display the cost of your actions in the game & hide your energy bar while you’re playing in the hopes that you will run out your energy at a key moment & be enticed into buying more in order to keep going with the story. This wouldn’t be quite as bad if either the interaction costs were lowered a bit in order to allow slightly more actions for the same amount of energy or possibly allowing you to watch ads in order to earn more energy (even if the number of ads was capped at a max per day), but as it is they’re being incredibly deceptive about the actual value of those new energy packs. They looks like a good deal, but actually aren’t worth it in the slightest. If you aren’t patient & don’t like paying for the experience, skip this one. It’s a beautiful games, but incredibly frustrating in the fact that you can’t play for more than 5 minutes at a time, even after a full 8 hours of waiting to earn that precious energy..Version: 2.5.1
✓ Great game no energyAll the reviews seem to comment on the energy, and I can’t agree more. You can but extra energy but at almost £5 for 350 energy when one hidden object game can take 150 is ludicrous. You can watch 1 ad every 4 hours to get 20 energy, again crazy. This needs sorting if it is going to be worth playing on. The game itself is awesome, well written, great graphics and seems to keep people engaged. If there was an option to buy unlimited energy or vast amounts more per day (not 35 offered in some packages) it would get 5* but as you can normally only play for 5 mins tops it unfortunately gets a poor rating. Also some of the games are impossible as the part that you need to click is hidden behind where the menu is so opens the menu rather than selecting the object. When reported to the developers there was far too much information required to make it worth while. They wanted screen shots, make and model, how far I had progressed in game and more screen shots so eventually gave up. ✓ Was really enjoying it, until it wiped my progressI’d been playing this for a while and made it 70% through Path of Sin:Greed. But then I opened the app and it asked me to choose my starting adventure as though I’d never played before. I thought that was strange so exited out of it and restarted the app. It didn’t ask me to choose this time and showed my progress, so I breathed a sigh of relief. Imagine my surprise when I click continue and am met with the opening cutscene. Immediately, I close the app again and then when I open it it’s showing 0% completion. In a strange twist, it’s showing adventure progress at 70% and current progress as 0%. So my old game hasn’t been wiped, but has been reset by this glitch and it seems there’s no way around it. ✓ Great game, but...Love this game! However, the energy requirement isn’t straightforward. Firstly there’s no indication of how much energy you have, or how much is needed for each task. Also I’m not sure if clicking on the wrong thing uses energy? And am I using energy for one of the little games or for each item I need to find in the game? ✓ Still bugged 🐛I’m 61% into modern tales, at the wishing well where you have to find all the objects.. I have everything but the frog that only appears when you lower the bucket on the wishing well by pressing the + by the rope, I was unable to click this before the update, did the update TWICE but it still won’t lower the bucket and no option to skip, so I cannot move on. I will not be restarting game as the amount of energy needed to get back to 61% will either take at least a week if I wait for energy, or cost me around £50 for your buggy mistake! ✓ Fun Game But….This game is certainly fun to play and is addicting once you get the hang on things, but every time you hit the screen it costs you energy. Every single task you do in the game seems to cost energy and there’s nothing that stays at the top of your screen to help show how you are using it or what tasks require more energy. ✓ Energy and General GlitchesLike what seems everyone else the energy business is nonsense. I appreciate they want to get paid, but 5 energy to do ANY action? Each point of energy takes 4 minutes to reset? I’m not necessarily opposed to watching ads for more energy or to reduce the cost of actions, but if you watch an ad it’s hours till you get the next chance and that’s not always consistent - sometimes it’s 4, sometimes it’s 14. Sometimes you don’t get all the energy you were supposed to get for watching the ad. Additionally, there’s several times where you have energy (multiples of 5) but the game keeps glitching and saying you don’t have enough energy to perform an action. The puzzles are intriguing, though some seem like they are nearly impossible unless you use a hint. ✓ Frustrating and infuriatingPlease don’t waste your time on this game. They draw you in with really interesting plot/story line. The puzzles are good but are few and far between. But it’s the energy bar that is really the problem. One simple action takes up so much of your energy and you end up only being able to play the game for 5 minutes before you are out of energy and you have to wait a few hours before you are able to play another 5 minutes of the game. It also doesn’t explain clearly how this element works because I found myself with 8 bolts of energy and it still said I didn’t have enough to complete one action. Another infuriating element is that you can only watch a video for extra energy once an hour and it only gives you 20bolts which equal to 2 taps on the screen before you are out again. I have already complained to the customer service team about this element and was met with a template “thanks for your feedback” email. They are scam artists who draw you in with an interesting and unique storyline and then leave you frustrated and annoyed that you can’t play for longer than 4/5 minutes before you are give the choice of paying heaps of cash for very little reward, or not progressing in the game until tomorrow. ✓ Over-usageGreat games and storylines, but the energy decrease is way too grand per use. I understand the concept of using this as an advantage to pursue players into buying the passes, but it seems like the further into the game I get, the more energy it takes. If there was anything to be done to help the game progress faster, it would be this. ✓ Good game but major issueThe game itself is great, the puzzles aren’t too easy but aren’t too difficult and the stories are surprisingly intriguing, and that’s coming from someone who normally couldn’t care less about mobile game lore. But… the energy. Oh god the energy system in this game is horrendous. “Full energy” is a total of 300 energy, which doesn’t sound too bad-until you realize that every individual action costs 5 energy. Picking something up, interacting with something, even finding an item in one of those hidden object puzzles. Without even counting the actions that take up extra energy, that gives you 60 moves before energy runs out- which usually means about 10 minutes of gameplay. You can watch an ad that makes actions cost 20% less, which gives you a grand total of 75 moves. When you run out of energy, you have three options- wait, watch an ad, or pay. One energy takes four minutes and thirty seconds to recharge, meaning getting full energy from 0 takes 22 hours and 30 minutes. Watching an ad gives you 20 energy and you can only watch one every hour, so you’re almost forced to pay- 5 dollars for full energy. I’m all for monetization in games, especially when they come from small studios, but when it disrupts the game like this it’s unacceptable. My recommendation is to not get this game until the developers fix this problem..Version: 2.11.8

✓ Super fun game!It is a really fun game but unfortunately, I can’t play it as often as I like. I am only able to play for an hour a day and 10 minutes at a time. You run out of energy SO FAST!! Don’t use your hints!!! Once I completed the first game, it is easier to do every other game and hints cost WAY too much energy. Maybe if the developers made everything just one energy less or if they had your energy replenish faster, that would be much better. I know they need to make money and I know a lot of people are willing to spend money on games but I am definitely not one of those people, so I watch every video to make my energy 20% less and watch every video to get 20 more energy points but it still doesn’t last long. ✓ Great, but notI’m tempted to give this 1 star because it really is unplayable as is unless you like constant lengthy interruptions waiting for more energy. I know it’s designed to pay the developers, but I could literally spend hundreds of dollars to get through just one story without interruptions. Um, for a game? Just no! Most games have an alternative so developers can get paid, like watching videos instead of paying real money. This one does too, but after watching just 1 to get 20 energy (which is used up within 5 minutes), guess what? You have to wait some more - an hour - before you can watch another! That’s it for me. I’m going back to Adventure Escape Mysteries. No energy requirements. Not even ad watching requirements. If they can do that, surely this game can be better. Other than this issue, the game is great. Thus, 2 stars instead of 1. But I can’t enjoy this game in its current state. Sadly. ✓ Energy issue is such a scam!I don’t understand why developers don’t just charge a set price for the game. This whole energy thing is ridiculous and would end up costing a small fortune to complete the game. There are similar games with a one off purchase price which is so much better than them charging £4.99 to replenish energy which doesn’t last hardly any time. Shame because the games are good but I for one would not spend this sort of money and am not prepared to wait 24 hours for 15 minutes worth of game play. ✓ Fun game, but the energy bit stinks.The game is fun, nice and challenging. But the way you use energy is not explained or shown. In order to see your energy, you have to select the menu button. But you are never told when you will be using energy for what actions. Just let me play the game. Also, the ads to get more energy never work. Make me use energy for hints or something, but don’t limit my game play. I get to a puzzle and suddenly haven’t enough energy to attempt the puzzle. And every item found during the search puzzles costs energy. Every item found, not just the puzzle. So if you run out of energy before you find all the items, too bad, you've got to wait. Please get rid of the energy bit. Find other ways to make your money, by either paying for the game to have unlimited energy forever, or for buying hints before they are ready, or something. ✓ Great game, Money hungry developersThe stories are interesting, puzzles are fun and challenging. But the energy system is really ridiculous. Only way to receive gems to purchase energy is through the daily rewards and even then they only give you like 5-10 at a time. That’s if you even get them. Which I feel is ment to stagnate progress and force you to make purchase in order to progress the game. 1.99 for 50 measly gems that you can’t use to purchase more energy because the minimum for that it 100 jems for 300 energy which only lets you progress about 5 percent given the amount of energy it cost for each move. There are AD incentives but it’s every hour for 20 energy, then sometimes it’ll make you wait 11 hours till you can watch the next ad for 20 energy. This sort of game set up essentially pushes players who want to see more progress that 2 moves a day to then buy their essentially worthless packs that you’ll have to buy every 10-20 mins of play because of energy. Devs I get it everybody gotta eat but it would be nice to have better game play options for players who don’t have 5dollars to give every 5 mins in order to play..Version: 2.11.5
✓ Great concept, poor executionThis game is quite literally my favorite game I’ve downloaded on a phone. Storytelling is great, puzzles are fun, I love the searching mechanic (reminds me of the old I spy books as a kid). However, there is one huge issue that makes this game nearly unplayable. The energy mechanic. Other reviews aren’t exaggerating when they say you can only play for a few minutes. I let the energy charge up all night, and even then I only got three minutes of gameplay before I ran out. Please, devs, include some way of improving this mechanic so we can actually enjoy this otherwise great game. You could charge a flat rate for a story so you get unlimited energy for that story. You could include a mega pack that costs a lot but gives you unlimited energy for all stories. You could reduce the cool down for watching ads. Literally anything that would improve this system. As it stands now I’m considering uninstalling this game, which really stinks because it is so good, but the energy system makes it basically unplayable..Version: 2.10.2
✓ Fun game but energy requirements are crap!Edit: I’ve noticed that the quality of the graphics decreases with every game I’ve played. The graphics looked amazing in the Enigmatis series but once I got to the Eventide series things went downhill. The human characters especially in the ‘Sorcerer’s Mirror game the characters looked like amateur drawings with pen and markers scanned into a computer. Taking the bad graphics and the energy issues, I have to change my rating to a single Star. Overall this is a fun and challenging game, but my complaint is the same as the rest of the reviews that I’ve read, that being the energy system needs to be improved. It takes too much energy to do even the simplest of tasks like picking something up. The “discount” you get for watching an ad is practically worthless. And the extra 20 energy you get for watching another ad isn’t enough to complete a hidden object mini game. The 4:30/energy unit refresh time is WAY TOO LONG! The only way to get anywhere in this game is when you first play in the morning for less than an hour and then play the game again at the end of the day and you’re lucky if you’ve got half of your energy back. The only way to get very far is spending gems for a decent amount of energy. The quality of the graphics depends greatly on what game is played. ✓ Enigmatis 3 glitch - hints stopped workingSo I really really love this app. The games on here are such high quality and I love playing them. I have not had a single complaint this whole time until now. I’ve run into a glitch that I hope gets fixed. In Enigmatis 3, I’m about 43% through and I’ve run into an impassable issue. In the sawmill, I’ve gotten to the point where I have to do the hidden objects puzzle behind the gears. I’ve found every object except the “prong” which it says I need to complete an action in order to reveal. I’ve tried clicking around the entire space and nothing works. I’ve tried using hints, and nothing happens, it doesn’t lead me to click anywhere. I’ve even tried to look up walkthroughs online, and in their hidden objects mini game, prong isn’t even listed for them, so I’m very confused what’s wrong. Please please fix whatever is wrong, because I want to keep playing! I really love this series and I’ll be really sad if I can’t finish..Version: 2.9.2
✓ Strong start, but peters outI really enjoyed the beginning of the game. Fun storyline, good graphics, interesting puzzles. But as you get deeper into the game, your energy (which is required to perform tasks) gets depleted quicker and quicker. I got a little less than halfway through the game and found that even during a simple seek-and-find puzzle I lost all energy. At this point I can only play for a few minutes, then it’s done. I don’t mind watching ads for energy, but they only give you that option in very limited amounts. So you either pony up money to buy energy (which I am guessing won’t last long), or you uninstall because you get so irritated playing for a few minutes at a time. I think they should offer other ways to earn energy, like more ads, or simple side games to do while waiting for energy to be replenished. I mean, I get it, they have to make money but that’s where ads come in, and there are lots of people like me who won’t spend money but will happily watch ads. It’s how I found this game. ✓ Do keys refill?I love the game and I play it every day, I know that the energy does take a long time to refill and that some of the actions do take a lot of the energy away so you don’t always get to play it for long. I usually play the game in the morning when I wake up but find that I have to wait until the next morning to have a decent amount of energy again which is annoying as I’d love to play it throughout the day. I’ve completed quite a lot of the stories but I’m not able to start a new one at the moment as it’s telling me I don’t have any keys left, will these refill after a while or am I out completely now? ✓ All used up!I absolutely love this app! The fact that there are so many stories and every single one keeps my interest. Almost every puzzle is solvable on my level and fun at the same time. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the energy. It takes over 24 hours to refill or you have to spend money. Even with the ad option for everything to cost less it’s still only 20% off. I can spend 30 minutes playing, maybe 2-3 rooms clear and then I can’t play again until the next day. I have spent money on gems to refill but even that is more expensive than your regular game. Spend $4.99 for just another 30 minutes of gameplay. ✓ Love the Stories—Hate the SystemThe stories, puzzles, and characters are engaging and well-written, but what good are they all when they’re locked up behind this unnecessarily punitive energy mechanic? Every tiny little thing that gets done, especially in the hidden objects puzzles with lots of items, becomes a huge obstruction to actually being able to use and enjoy your product. I’d gladly support your work by paying if you had some option to get a pass or something of the sort to offer unlimited energy so that the experience could be genuinely enjoyed without constant interruptions, too long of waits to refill, or way too much being wasted to do the simplest of tasks like picking up a paper clip. Some balancing is needed. Definitely has potential to be 5 stars, but something’s gotta be done about the energy mechanics to reach that level for me..Version: 2.12.3
✓ Great game but flawedHave really enjoyed playing this game - good amount of challenge and good storylines so far. Nice variety of puzzles - some easy, some difficult. Lots of choices of stories to play. Sometimes I'd like to be able to zoom in as things are small on the phone! Two main flaws 1. The energy system - everything costs a lot of energy to complete even with the ad watch to make it take less. It only refills 1 bar every 4 mins so a full day to refill. The developer has been sending the same stock response for over a year so doubt this will ever get fixed. Minus one star 2. I have now run out of keys and can't get more without buying something - only none of the packs have prices on them and I've seen in reviews they are fairly pricy for even something basic. Again same stock response from developers prove they won't do anything. Minus one star. Shame it's now a game I can't play any more as I was a big fan. ✓ Obsessed, just wish there was more play time!We get about 10 mins of game play every day once the energy refills.. that’s about it. I’d rate this 5 stars even if I had to watch videos to get extra game play. The game is fantastic, the visuals and storyline are beautiful, and there are multiple games/stories to choose from.. you can pay about $7.99 for 700 credits, which would last you 30 mins max..
