✓ Nonsense puzzles ruined the whole gameI’ve played all the big titles in this genre from all the top developers who make these adventure games , I have also enjoyed and played all the Syntaxity games in the past too. However this game BC2 has left me feeling frustrated. 90% of the puzzles just don’t have logic to them, and believe me I love to scratch my head trying to figure out how to solve them usually but I had to cheat my way through the game by watching a YouTube walkthrough video.. and even after seeing how the puzzle was solved I was still none the wiser . The puzzles are just (expletive). There’s also too many of them , it’s overkill and I lost interest very quickly . The map is big , I’m really not a fan of tapping back and forth from one end of the map to the other continuously and no I won’t pay for the quick travel- just make a big map ,but have it so that we can’t progress further unless we have completed a section that we won’t have to return to. It’s really .....annoying ! I feel like I want a refund , it’s a very pretty game but the gameplay is shocking. Ive bought games in the past which had really bad low resolution graphics but the puzzles were top notch and the storyline superb . This didn’t do it for me at all..Version: 1.3

✓ A drop in qualityI usually love Syntaxity games - this series has previously been excellent and the mechanics of the game are really good. The camera that automatically takes photos of useful things and deletes them when you’re done is excellent. But this game fell down with too many puzzles that just didn’t make sense. The clues were no help at all, and either said something completely different to the actual solution, or were so obscure that you could never have guessed what the answer was. I had to use the answer section multiple times, and there were numerous other comments also saying that the solutions didn’t make sense with the clues. Very disappointed that I wasted $10 on this, once I had paid for the game, the clues and the fast travel. And paying extra for fast travel was a blatant money grab that I really disapprove of. It should have been included in the game..Version: 1.3

✓ Pay for everything-separately- for an okayish gameDisappointed. It's a fairly solid point and click, nothing special-but you have to pay for everything, and there's no option to pay once and be done with it. Fast travel? Pay a dollar. Hints? Pay separately. It's just disappointing. The game would be worth the price if you didn't have to pay separately for each and every element. It’s extra strange because it tells you, “fast travel location added” every time you reach one, but the option isn’t available without paying. So I guess I paid for the game just to be able to write this review. I won’t be buying any more of their games; There’s lots of great games out there where they don’t use this model and I’m voting with my wallet here..Version: 1.3
✓ Great game but…This is one of my favourite games but I played the 7.00$ and my game is like crashing I’m following the clues exactly how they do it and it doesn’t go through and I’m on the piano with the clue in the hat .The resin I’m tearing this a 3 is cuz I love these games. ✓ Cumbersome!Wow! This is the most cumbersome game I’ve ever played! You spend more time going from place to place and watching videos about solutions to puzzles, than actually playing. It must be horrible if you don’t pay for map and clues. There are puzzles where you’d have no idea what to do without the clues. What a disappointment!.Version: 1.3
✓ Subpar with a side of mehThere’s no reward system with any of these Syntaxity games- 90% of the puzzles are solved by finding in-game clues verses using intellect. Once the puzzle is solved you find yourself facing another ludicrous puzzle instead of receiving inventory; then you have to travel all over the map bouncing here and back just to find more completely useless clues. Go to scene 8, then back to scene 43 then back to screen 5,627 haha, what a hassle! The puzzles are often so obscure and nonsensical that even WITH the clue they still make no sense; they are completely void of reason. Seriously all the puzzles would only make sense to the developer. All Syntaxity games are basically the same game over and over again with little to differentiate. Nonetheless I find myself playing; it harnesses a moderate enjoyability through smooth controls yet mediocre environments..Version: 1.3
✓ AbsurdGood luck solving the puzzles. you won’t. so you look at the clue. you still won’t. So then you look at a utube video (annoying) for the solution and although you now see what the answer is, you are still none the wiser as to why. Awful game which is just irritating and not fun. boring. if you’re going to design puzzle games, at least make the puzzles solvable..Version: 1.3
✓ Not intuitiveCompared to Blackthorn Castle 1 this is very confusing. The puzzles don’t always make sense. There is a hedge that needs to be trimmed but clicking on it gives no indication that it’s of value. Why would you need to attach a magnet to a fishing rod?! We needed clues more often than we should have if this was as well conceived as the first one was..Version: 1.3

✓ Blackthorn Castle 2Absolutely impossible to get through this game without looking at the clues, even then, most of the clues don’t make sense. In some cases I had to video the clue on my phone, then try and copy to the game using iPad. I have all Syntaxity games, have been doing them for years and up till now have really enjoyed. My 7 year old has been doing them for 2 years but I will not show him this one despite being suitable for aged 4 years and over. I think someone was having a laugh when they created this game. ✓ Not as fun as other onesThe clues and items you use have you jumping around the map to parts that are too far from their origins. Make it hard to know where to go next without using hints..Version: 2.5
✓ Cryptic clues spoil the funThis could have been a good game but it gets annoying after a while when you are trying to make sense of clues that do not make sense. ✓ Great game but impossible cluesI’ve played all of these games and most puzzles can be solved with a bit of time and logic but this game had some clues that made no sense. Even when watching the cheat videos I still couldn’t follow the logic. But still great graphics. Fun challenges..Version: 2.6

✓ Enjoy these...HOWEVER...BUYER BEWARE!I like to play these but the puzzles are the same from one game to the next. Once you’ve played one, you’ve played them all. I wish that the company wasn’t so greedy to stick it to the loyal buyers who have bought their games for many years, and helped them stay in business. After paying the $4 for the game, you must then pay an additional $1 for an extra feature (which should be included as part of the game)....once you move, it comes to a scene and notifies you that you’ve unlocked a scene used for “Fast Travel”....but then to get to use “Fast Travel” (allowing you to jump to sections of the paths, where you can skip having to constantly be tapping the same screens to go back & forth after you’ve found an item you need -but need it on the far opposite side of the landscape map),you’ve got to pay up the extra $1.....! C’mon guys! So ridiculous! I understand charging a $1 for unlocking “Hints”....many companies do that. But the feature of Fast Travel -if you’re going to put it up as a feature, it SHOULD NOT be an additional cost. If you want to just flat out charge $5 for you game, then do that..Version: 1.3
