✓ Payed hintsWas very hard to get anywhere without paying to get hints. Not impressed. This is the first game I had to pay extra to use hints. Won’t be buying one of theses again..Sndrt230Version: 1.4

✓ Not so much of a puzzle solverBasically you just have to find clues in order to know what to do with the next step, like what order 4 horseshoes should be displayed as. Very little real puzzle solving still required. I’ve done better free games. Some beautiful artwork though..HellieH7Version: 1.6

✓ Nice, finished quickly, no replay ability, £3??Firstly an enjoyable game to play. Interface is nice and clear with objects easy to see. Soothing music adds to the atmosphere. Graphics sit just about average but are missing extra levels of detail to make the experience more complete. Finished this in less than a day and with no reason to go back a question mark can be drawn on the price. I personally think a lower price tag would be fairer but if these types of games are your thing you maybe happy to pay the full amount..Critikill HitVersion: 1.4

✓ Pretty...butThis game is beautifully rendered but the game play is not so hot. Navigation is abysmal - whenever you enter a new scene you are turned around so you are not even sure where you came from (particularly annoying when you are in the maze, fortunately you can use arrows to guide you, otherwise it would be maddening). It is also one of those games where you can only do one thing in a scene at a time and then have to travel to the other end of the world and back to do something else. This wouldn't be so bad if the 'map' images would take you there. All in all the game play fell well short of the standard of the graphics - even compromised by it since it seems that they wanted to have a nice scene rather than have logical linear navigation (you almost get dizzy with it at times!) I did appreciate nice clear images in the inventory though. Puzzles were OK, just a bit too simple..ElberthubbardVersion: 1.2

✓ BlackthornPlaying is like pulling teeth! You have to pay $$$$ for hints to be unlocked. It is a confusing game, like going round in circles. Very difficult to move forward. Guess its just not my type of game, lucky there are plenty other games to choose from. Sigh!.Beleigha.Version: 1.4

I paid $2.99 for the game and another $2 for in app purchase and it was not worth $5. Too annoying to play without the fast travel but too easy and short to play with it, no happy medium. ✓ Moving Around Way too CumbersomeGuess older versions could use the map by just pointing to the location they wanted. This version only allows fast traveling to certain locations and it’s a 99 cent upgrade. Hints are also 99 cents for every clue! Graphics are beautiful but actual game play can’t be done without an online walkthrough. It’s supposed to be enjoyable and relaxing, not a brain-straining test. ✓ Great graphics, needs more interactionThe scenery is gorgeous and was a pleasure to travel through. I found the game a bit simple and one dimensional. The puzzles could not be solved until a picture of the answer was found. What really ticked me off was paying for the game and then being charged additional fees to 1) get hints which were little help. Only a location is given and 2) to speed travel between the 60+ scenes. I will not pay and pay again. Thought that was shameful..SkittlebeansVersion: 1.6

✓ Nice, but not great.Similar to other adventure/puzzle games. Relatively simple and strait-forward. Several bottlenecks/“key-logs”- you could search a long time for something you overlooked unless you pay the extra $0.99 for the “clues”— it is pretty clear where each ‘key’ fits once found. ✓ Fast travelI love all of the games in this series, however, when I originally purchased them “fast travel” and a few hints were part of the package and now it seems they are both an added $0.99 charge which is frustrating. I hardly ever spend money on games and to have features that I paid for when I bought the game suddenly be an up charge makes me want to skip purchasing any further games that will come out in the series..GypsybeccaVersion: 1.4

✓ Previously a 5-Star, now a one-star gameWhen I originally purchased this game, unlocking hints and fast travel were both included in the price. Now, although I have owned this game for a long time, it wants to charge me for both fast travel and unlocking hits. I have tried to “restore purchase“ but that did not solve the problem. I understand if developers need to make money, but that is why this was a paid app in the first place. It is wrong to charge for something, collect your money, and then go back later and charge more for for things that were previously free. This is wrong and does not treat your paying customers correctly. This developer makes great games, but their business model is flawed, and they need to take into account and have respect for their current customers who have already paid for the features in their games. It should not be possible for a developer to charge for features that were previously included after you have bought a game. In protest, I cannot recommend this developer’s games until they address this major oversight. This goes for all of the games that I own by this developer which at least three games. They have done this to each and everyone of their games. I want all of my content restored..Badkitty_Version: 1.4
