MadMuscles: Workouts & Diet for Positive User Reviews

Great app so farDownloaded the app today and liking it so far. Very motivational.Version: 2.9.6

Oui maisLa section échauffement et repos de fin d’entraînement gagnerai à être fait selon le chrono et non donner (ou non) tous les exercices dans les 20 premières secondes.Version: 2.10.2

Great startI’ve used this for 6 weeks for training only . Honestly, had to push myself in the early stages with unfamiliar exercises, but I can feel the progress now (down 6kg). Equipment required is very easy to get and store in the garage, while the app does a great job of keeping you motivated. 7kg to go !.Version: 2.8.3

Mad muscle trainingI love how my body feels worn out and my muscles feels a good amount of intensity and I love how some of the workouts I do is more rep based to help condition my body🔥🔥.Version: 2.8.3

Good StartMore of a gap is required between sets. It is very difficult to keep up when you have 10 seconds between exercises. If you have to move equipment etc out of the in a small place it’s not possible. Perhaps a setting where you can set the time between each?.Version: 2.8.0

It’s working for me!On my 50’s it’s hard to keep and even harder get some muscle. I have tried the app for both: muscle gain and endurance , and I’ve seen the results. Obviously, I have done my part: discipline, consistency with training and, most importantly, with diet and resting..Version: 2.7.0

Early stages but is helping motivation and achievementI found myself completing the questionnaire- which simple to complete and asked questions which I felt would meet my needs - get fitter and lose weight. Signing up (3 month promo) was simple , though did inadvertently pay an additional £14 one of payment for something to do with food planning - not sure what I’ve actually received for that… I follow the programs set at home without much equipment (stretch bands, dumbbells and kettlebells) -each program is different and takes between 30-40mins - which flies by. You can change the day(s) of exercise. Also take on additional ‘challenges’ - eg burpee 10 day challenge. Its been 2 weeks and I have felt motivated to complete each session as each session does seem to fly by, plus I am noticing a bit of progression (I’m not expecting immediate changes) - exercises do feel a bit easier (I can get to the end of most), heart rate is up and feels like I have done a work out. So far so good - I’m enjoying using the app..Version: 2.8.2

Wow Great AppThere has been quite a bit of investment into this app both on the workout and nutrition sides. Endless alternatives to recipes and exercises with their swaps. Really enjoying it 3 days in. I am not starving (getting a little hungry at night) the suggested meals don’t restrict you in any way. Let’s see if I can lose weight!.Version: 2.10.4

GreatEasy exercises that don’t require high skill level. Tailored to suit needs. Low impact movements..Version: 2.3.1

Great app with one major pet peeveI have been using this app for about 5 weeks now and it has done wonders. I have lost 15 pounds and my workouts are easy to follow. It gives you a good sweat in a 20-40 minute burst which does the job without you being sore the next day. However I workout with no equipment and wanted to switch from the lose weight program to the get shredded program and I noticed that for the no equipment categories for both get shredded and the gain muscle category requires you to have some equipment. The peeve part comes in because you can sub in no equipment workouts no problem but this usually results in you hitting your core group too much and your arms and legs too little. If they fix the no equipment workouts programs it is a 5/5 app..Version: 2.8.0

Super good app!Work in progress, the team work hard to improve and gives a really good “in touch” customer service. Good job! Love the app. The videos and timer are really helpful. 😊💪🏻.Version: 2.9.4

A great start to the dayWhat a great start to the day this is. I get up at 6:45 each morning and conduct a training session for 20-40 minutes depending on how quickly I finish each module. I’m 56 now and ex military but a couple of injuries have set me back I power through it to reach my goal. Personally, I’d like to see the training a little harder as I am wizzing through the sections, sometimes by half way and on the cool-down I’d like to hear a half way beep to know when to change legs / arms but a great start. Get the blood running. Thanks all..Version: 2.10.4

So far, so goodLiking the daily schedule with ability to shuffle which day of the week I do the workouts.Version: 2.8.3

Stole my moneyThey said I didn't cancel in time even though I did and I have the email to prove it, sent to the correct address. They just took payment next month anyway. Now they are saying they can't give me a refund as I didn't cancel 24 hours before end when I literally have proof I did! Feel free to use of you either want a hard time cancelling or you want your money stolen..Version: 2.9.5

Versatile workoutVery good motivation and coaching workout app. Didn’t really had the time to go for coaching because work usually ends late and couldn’t fit in the gym coaching schedules. This app solved all and got me on track to a better fitness.Version: 2.10.4

Good App, needs some improvements. To start, this is a pretty decent app. Great exercises, good programs, a good GUI leading to easy navigation, and it’s pretty intuitive to use. However, it needs help in the flexibility of use department. I see two major issues at the moment. 1. If you need to change anything with your nutrition plan, you have to email support. They are responsive, but it’s not very efficient. 2. If you miss a workout day, there is no way in the app to move that workout to the next day, or any other day. This again requires you to email support. This experience of having to contact support just to shift things around in your routines is a major let down..Version: 2.5.1

Really good and usefulMy first fitness app. I’m impressed. Wide variety of plans. Easy to find alternative exercises if you can’t do one or don’t like eg to squat. Email requests/questions answered fast and accurately. Visual cues for all exercises. The focus is on “ mirror muscles”. Lots of chest, quads and bis. Not enough back, hammies or triceps. You will need to add.Version: 2.9.6

Good appGood app that makes you accountable. Very user friendly and well thought out. Demonstrations are good.Version: 2.5.1

Solid appOverall i really like the app. Did a pretty good job of building a plan to what i wanted. App is clean with good tutorials and explanations. Some things i would love to see changed/adjusted. 1- allow app to continue when i leave it. I don’t love that if i go out of the app to send a text or change the song I’m listening to or anything, the app pauses whatever i was on. Would like to see my rest time continue. 2- maybe i can but haven’t been able to see how, but would like to adjust the meal times and/or adjust workout days. I wake up at 4am every morning, but the meal plan starts at 10am. Also i am out of town 1-2 weekends a month, so if a workout falls on that day, sometimes I’m not able to do them. If a user could adjust their workout days each week, and I’d users could input their normal daily routine as far as when they wake up, eat their meals, etc., i think it would be beneficial. Outside of that I’m really liking this app and excited to see the results at the end of this month and beyond..Version: 2.8.1

An ideal app for workout at homeIt's been nearly a month that I've decided to use MadMuscles as my sports guide to build my muscles on top of. The app gently tracks your workout progress and based what you have defined as a goal coaches you through that. Since I'm using iphone and I have an apple watch to track my movement and sport activity during the day, it would be nice so the app be equipped with a feature to track my activity from the Health app and updates my info regarding my heart beat, burned calories, total movements and so on so it would be able to further coach me better through its bot. I like the meals since I have read in books from specialized sports nutritionists that you should repeat a meal over and over again through your workout plan. It makes it simpler to master preparing a meal very quick which is satisfying. I think there is a lot to enhance concerning profile management panel and adding more creative features would make it an ideal app to choose among similar ones. Thanks for your effort to provide such a great workout experince for anyone who desire to build a healthy and active habit. 🙏🏻.Version: 2.10.3

App is great and usefulApp is really usefully and can help you create a clear routine! For anybody who is actually going to the gym this app is worth it. The bad reviews are people who did and trial and forgot to cancel now they can’t get a refund they complain. I signed up with a discount and paid £25 for 3 months and have a full work out for 3 days of the week. Keep it up guys 👍🏾🫡.Version: 2.5.0

Very good, still needs improvement.Love the layout of the app during workouts and the ease at which I can mirror to my appleTV. I’m on day three and I’m feeling more accomplished and motivated than I have in years of various programs. The app hasn’t isn’t acknowledging that I completed 2 of the 3 workouts on their designated days which is frustrating. I often prefer to use my own warmup/cooldown, and exit the workout during the cooldown timer- this shouldn’t disqualify my effort from the weekly tracker. The meal planner has potential, but needs to support users in ketosis or on paleo diets. Too many of the meals include breads. Finally, as a paying subscriber I’d expect some form to contact support staff through the app- the automated coach with limited conversation prompts doesn’t count..Version: 2.3.1

❤️Set your app language I'm stuck there I clicked on continue many times but nothing happened I can't even use the app I just downloaded.Version: 2.8.3

PoidsIl serait intéressant d’avoir une section pour noter le poids utilisé pour l’exercice pour avoir un référent le prochain entraînement similaire..Version: 2.10.1

ThanksExcellent training program.Version: 2.10.3

Better than Better MeI am a recent user of the Better Me app and now a convert to Mad Muscles! First off MM is up front about all the charges that will come to you, BM had challenges they advertised on Face Book but failed to mention each of the challenges costs an extra $10-20 just to participate in. I only gave 4 stars because I have yet to explore the entirety of the Mad Muscles app. Once I’ve used it for a month (or maybe after 6 months) I will come back and reevaluate my thoughts on its effectiveness. I start at 261lb and pretty much 35% body fat. Ask me in 6 months what I’m down to and how I look! On a closing note, I like that if you’re a beginner they start you out small but still challenge you and your abilities. Remember fellas, nothing worth doing is easy, but don’t work yourself into a heart attack, know when to quit or skip to the cool down..Version: 2.10.0

Great app for stealing your cashMake sure you cancel and get confirmation because you cannot get a refund or a warning that your account is getting charged. Never felt so scammed as I did with my trial at Mad Muscles. Run before you try. Mad Muscles is not happy to see this. They said to contact customer support but I’ve already done that and they informed me there’s no way to get a refund unless you cancel 24 hours before billing. So they charge you for 3 months and once they do the only thing you can do is cancel for the next 3 months. I’ve been through this nightmare twice so I’m expecting to do it again in June again. This time though I have a cancellation email to prove it to my bank. It’s scummy. What’s worse is the app is really difficult to use. Be careful with trials. That’s the $120 lesson for you all..Version: 2.7.1

Good range of exercises. The app itself is good and incorporates machines that can be used. Exercises can be swapped out for ones that are more suitable. Improvements I believe could be useful from using other apps are: weights could be entered as to what is available. Extra days could be added if you wanted to do 5 days rather than 3 for example. When swapping out exercises, it could show you the areas it is targeting so you know. Apart from that, I love it..Version: 2.10.1

It works for me!!I am very happy to find this program. Doing things properly is what matters. I have seen changes in me within a few weeks. Would continue it. Wish could have found this earlier. Best luck!!.Version: 1.9.1

Best investment I’ve ever madeHonestly the best investment I have ever made. I always hated the meal prep aspect of the gym because I had no clue what to cook and trying to research new recipes, etc was always a major hassle for me. Now I get to see shopping lists and exact recipes, which is a great boost for my workouts. I would suggest an improvement - a lot of the meals say to add “spices to taste”. Whilst this may work for people who already have some cooking skills, it can be difficult to know what to put in that’ll work with the dish for newbies. It would be great if all recipes had suggested spices, and then an optional “or your own spices”..Version: 2.10.3

Surprenant!Jamais je ne paye pour m’entraîner. Mais il s’avère que cette application m’est utile pour me botter le cul les jours ou ça me tente moins et c’est ÇA qui fait LA différence….Version: 2.9.6

Only my second weekThe site looks good and i am still getting grips with it as i have only just signed up , the workout that was given to me works well . The diet they have worked out for me is interesting and the meals that i have made so far or really nice , well done mad muscles. The site has a lot to offer and a lot of info so i am glad that i signed up . Also working with them online makes you take time to workout so it does not feel that you are doing it alone. I am looking forward to the results . Keep up the good work..Version: 2.10.3

ExcellentAll good, I lose weight but, I would like it not to pause when exiting the app.Version: 2.9.6

Great AppThe app created a great workout that really suited my fitness level. It’s really easy to follow and gives a nice preview of each exercise to ensure correct form is maintained. Would definitely recommend for both new and experienced gym members.Version: 2.8.1

Love the programsLove the app and the programs but I think it would make it way better if the app would hold your values of weight and show it next time round. For example if I do 40kg horizontal row I would like it enter it in so it can remind me next time.Version: 2.8.3
