✓ Very excellent!!I didn’t think this game would be anything special to start of with but it quickly hooked and intrigued me into wanting more. The puzzles in this game are rewarding and not ridiculously infuriating to figure out so it makes up a whole rounded experience. I would hope to see more games of this kind in the doctor who universe as I feel like it really works story wise. Props to everyone involved 👍🏻.Version: 1.04

As a long time fan of Doctor Who, it is exciting to play in the world, use web searches in game, find the Easter eggs, and I want to say more but it will ruin some outstanding moments. ✓ Well worth the money for a fabBasically, it’s good. It’s not a long game (especially considering the app size I thought I’d get a bit more distance out of it). It’s also not overly complex, the puzzles are definitely aimed towards a younger audience. Both of these are minor niggles however because what this actually is, is an interactive novella where you get to help unit and Osgood face off against an old enemy. There’s a few nice references to some old allies too for the avid fan who wonders what Clyde is up to these days. And who wouldn’t enjoy texting Osgood about her thoughts on the Doctor. So for the money, well worth it. Just don’t expect much bafflement from what to do next from the puzzles and remember… don’t close your eyes, don’t look away and… ah you know the rest..Version: 1.13

✓ It’s like living your own Doctor Who episode!I don’t normally pay for mobile games, but I was bloody glad I bought this one. If you’re a fan of doctor who, you need to be playing this game. It’s a fantastic narrative with just as much mystery and frights and even the action was tense. I had heart palpitations while playing this thing I forgot it was a game and believed I was living it. That’s how great this thing is, a testament to the team who made it. And there’s enough Easter eggs in this to keep the diehard fans gushing. So play this game, you won’t regret it. ✓ Not usually a game player....but really enjoyed thisAs a general rule, I don’t play electronic games, but I do love Doctor Who, so I thought I’d give this a try. What a great experience! I’ve never played anything similar, and I thought it was really accessible. I liked the way the game unfolded, and the way it could be played at my own pace. The way it replicated a phone made it very easy to navigate my way through it. I also never understood how a computer game could be scary, but this made me jump a number of times! (Should I admit to related nightmares after finishing it?!) I finished the game and then went round and did it again to complete it all, when I realised that I had to put aside any pre-existing knowledge of The Doctor, and anything associated. ✓ A fun timeI gave this app a 4 star and wish I could have split it to 4.25 or so. As a huge fan of the TV series I’ve been wanting a proper app to come out so was really excited to find this. The premise is simple, you find someone’s phone and strange things start happening, but the story line is very good. The game is a bit short which lowers the rating from 5 to 4 in my opinion. They have actors from the show so the acting is what you would expect, very good. The story is intriguing as well. All in all a solid, short game. ✓ FINALLY! ANOTHER GOOD DOCTOR WHO STORYOkay, so first things off, i love the idea behind this! Had the same idea of a sequel to blink when I was a kid! So going through the story I think it’s awesome! Definitely had some jump scares and uses the lore of the angels very well! The use of stock footage was a lil meh but when they use practical angels... perfection! The cast all did amazing jobs (and some creepy jobs, you know who I’m taking about if you have played it), great to see Larry again! And i might play the game through again to get more from his story as I feel like I didn’t finish his arc. Great mystery game as well! Really well put together and it doesn’t hold your hand through it all, so when you figure something out it really makes you feel satisfaction! I would love to see a sequel where you’re osgoods tech guy/gal and you solve more mysteries of the whoniverse (cybermen online conversions, slytheen invasion- etc) Great games who love mysteries and doctor who! While people who have seen the show might find some of the plot twists quite predictable, that didn’t detract from the experience whatsoever. I found myself completely immersed in a gripping story. ✓ Solid experience, bit shortThe dialogue between Osgood and the player is well written, the story is an interesting continuation of “Blink”, and there were definitely a few moments that spooked me. I also liked the nods to all the times different incarnations of The Doctor have just materialised and dematerialised the TARDIS in public throughout history. Having said that, as a mobile game, it’s a bit short for the price they’re asking. I appreciate a fair amount of work went into this and this price point was calculated to best recover the costs of development, especially since there are actual actors in there that need to be paid, but this game can easily be completed in a single evening, especially since there’s a checklist telling you what to do next so you don’t ever get stuck. There also isn’t really any replayability, so once you’ve played through it once, you’re done, and there’s no reason to go back to it. Final Verdict: Wait for a sale, but definitely worth a playthrough if you can pick it up cheap..Version: 1.04

✓ Fun and Scary. Don’t need to know much about Doctor Who before playing this.Having watch Blink before playing this, I instantly knew what the story was about. It’s fun and entertaining, and knows it’s target audience. Knowing that some people who decide to play this game might’ve never heard of Doctor Who, the game makes sure that it can be fun for whovians and regular people alike. It doesn’t expect you to know Doctor Who and be able to fill in the blanks yourself, but instead, it treats you like you know absolutely nothing about Doctor Who and this is your introduction to the franchise. The game can be scary but is also easy. I found some people complain that the game kept crashing on them, but that never happened to me, though keep in mind that I was playing the game on an IPhone 6 so maybe the crashes were due to hardware limitations, don’t quote me on that, I might be wrong, it’s just an assumption. In the end, I think that the game is fun and, while doesn’t have much replay value if you find all the Easter Eggs on the first or second try, is worth replaying for all the responses you can get..Version: 1.13

✓ What. A. Ride.That was AMAZING. I just finished playing Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins, and it was PERFECT. I’m a huge fan of the show, and my favorite episode is Blink, so this was right up my alley. It took me two days to play the game, so it has a lot of play-time (although I secretly wish it had been longer). I love how it brought back some of our favorite character (Osgood!! And Larry!) from Doctor Who but added some new, interesting characters. It is so well-written and so well put together. I’ve tried some of the Doctor Who games in the past and I just was never impressed. This is incredible and well-worth the price. I love the idea of a “found phone” game and this one executes it flawlessly. I honestly felt like I was present in a Doctor Who episode—my dream come true! So thank you for that! Overall, it was just FUN. I even screamed once with one of the jump scares! At the end, it tells you what you accomplished, and what parts you missed, so now I have reason to give it a second play-through! Loved it!.Version: 1.03

✓ Could be longer……For a game depicting travels in space and time this game was relatively short. For a first outing it was a brave new concept, when the next update arrives hopefully the story will be more in depth. There were certain areas of the game that flowed well but in the middle it became a bit hit and miss. Playing on iPad Pro I was surprised at how the game seemed to seemingly struggle for a while and eventually the impasse was overcome when the game and iPad started communicating. At first I thought it was my tablet but the game flowed perfectly on my Samsung S10+ and everything else works fine so there may well be a glitch which will drive you mad but after multiple times of running through the screens eventually the clues show up. There is great potential and hopefully there will be further updates with more Doctor “interaction” and visibility. Dalek, Cybermen and Sontarans would be great for follow up add ons, but as I’ve said the games length needs to be longer and the storyline needs to flow better and be more in-line with Who script writing in other media. Oh and the price is quite high for such a short game, hopefully the add-ons will be free as updates to justify this. Would be a solid 7/10 but definitely room for improvement..Version: 1.07
