Can’t log inSigned up. Accepted. Went to login and they said my email is incorrect. Although the send emails to that exact one every single day regarding my account. Waste of time. Wouldn’t use it. Now it’s stuck on my credit file because I can’t access the app to close the account. Oh and the customer service is shocking!.Version: 2022.21.5

Can’t log inI’ve signed my agreement and passed all checks now I can’t log in because there is an error with my email? It’s entered correctly but I can’t access account? I tried to call but I need a 16 digit number which is only accessible via the app which I can’t access! Help!.Version: 4.5.0

Application StuckI went through the application but stumbled at the first step as BIP wouldn’t let me enter an apostrophe in my surname. The only way I could move the application forward was to leave it out. When it come to the section of adding my bank details I received a message that said the name on the bank doesn’t match that on the application form. With the application stuck I phoned BIP and when I finally got through was told they couldn’t amend my surname but could cancel the application so I could apply again. I explained I could enter my legal name in full due to their system. The lady then said it could be my bank that had the issue. I then suggested they manually approve the bank, which she said they also couldn’t do. I now have a credit search against my name. An application that is stuck and not even the company can move it forward. We can fly a man to the moon but we still have problems with an apostrophe in surnames..Version: 4.5.0

Terrible STEER CLEARWas given 100% chance of acceptance through Experian website, I went all the way through the application process no problems, Id checks etc everything fine got accepted given my offer signed all the documents, told I was all set to go and I have to sign in with my email and passcode can’t log in saying something went wrong can’t be sterilised nil input, 2 days of trying to log in I emailed app team no reply, no one answers the phone, now just received an email saying actually they have declined me after the fact, black mark on my credit file now, bunch of jokers so unprofessional and zero customer service and complete waste of my time, steer well clear!much better options out there!.Version: 4.5.6

Instant Access Credit? Lies!I applied for this credit card thinking I would have instant access to the credit card upon completion of the application. However I was wrong, my application was referred and then a few days later declined for no apparent reason. Have have an excellent credit score, and have several credit cards with high street banks. I smell a rat, avoid like the plague!.Version: 4.5.0

Worse online bankingDon’t use this bank, if you use there contact bot chat and you don’t reply they log you out and when you try to log in and you forget ur passcode they lock you out ! And they don’t even have 24/7 phone service, so imagine you need to make a payment and you can’t! What happens ?! You pay interest.Version: 2022.38.2

Awful awful app , can’t even verify my bankApplied, accepted and now can’t go past the identity check phase as I’m given a verification error for all of my banks that I have. Not a good first impression. I cannot even fix it through support as I can’t open an account in the first place, and the support line asks for a bip account number which I obviously don’t have yet! Completely frustrating as I am in limbo and there is nothing I can do. Fix your broken, useless app! - you’re only losing potential customers like this. Update -cancelled my application, support said to restart everything. Restarted everything and waited 2 days, still not working and I’m back to square one!! This is completely unacceptable. You’d think that an all digital credit card will have a functioning app….Version: 2022.26.1

Worst ExperienceI had been given 100% approval by Experian and had finished the application with Bip. When I had now tried to spend the money that was in the account it wouldn’t go through. I had reached out with customer support where they transferred me to a “specialist” that would be able to sort the issue for me. Just for me to be told my account was temporarily blocked for trying to spend the money. I was told it was under suspicion of fraud and I was asked numerous questions, after answering all their questions and confirming that it was actually me trying to make purchases I now see that my account has been deactivated with no reason given. Im sure this would’ve affected my credit score also..Version: 2022.10.5

Shocking customer serviceI applied for bip credit through the app. I was approved and sent the 1p to receive my pin to then activate my account but was not sent the pin. I cannot seem to get any help online, other than their website telling me to find help through my account which i cannot do as Bip app did not send me the pin to activate it. Absolute nightmare. Wouldn’t recommend. I am still no closer to activating my account..Version: 2022.21.5

Supposed to be a quick applicationI’ve waited almost 2 days now for even just an email. My application was accepted but I can’t log in as it comes up with a weird error. I’ve phoned twice to which they say my account is there and it usually takes 24 hours but their busy. However my partner has done his application today, already about to log in to the app and use his credit? Honesty is sometimes the best policy and it seems that’s not what I’ve had from them at this point..Version: 4.5.6

Unable to sign inI applied in app, and after issues where Bip wouldn’t deposit the penny to my account for a few days I tried again an it worked. After that there was no clear indication of my approved initial credit limit, a bit off putting but fine none the less. I signed the documents digitally, but am unable to login as the app is saying “Response can not be serialised.” Upon entering my valid email address. I have also received absolutely no communication through text or email to indicate whether my account is now active. Having a credit line that is unusable is terrible, considering there’s a minimum £5 monthly payment which I’ll have to cover even if I can’t access my account due to the apps own bugs. I hope these issues are resolved as a matter of urgency, something like this should never make it into production..Version: 4.5.1

No app is duff & there is no one to callI was excepted & downloaded the app & input my email address & then just got “zero length” “something went wrong” input message box on my phone & iPad. Tried to call them but they wanted the 16 digit card number which I didn’t have as I couldn’t access the app. Messaged them on FB but started reading other messages on their page & it just seems they are a disorganised mess as there are no general phone numbers anywhere & it seems they have made promises & put up advertising for their product but not bothered with the basic stuff..Version: 4.5.1

Don’t Accept Starling?I hardly ever leave reviews as I’d prefer to raise my concerns first with support, however, I couldn’t see on the site (apart from in app message, which I cannot gain access) how to contact anyone. It seems that Bip doesn’t like Starling Bank as since passing the application process and proceeding to verify my account I am being told my details are incorrect (I literally copy and paste them from the starling app). I don’t own another bank account therefore, I cannot proceed. Again it might be helpful if you offer a chat at this stage as there literally nothing I can do up to this point. Could be betterBip is a good credit account. Actually one of my firsts. But the app itself is really really bad. Doesn't live update, the interface is really bad as-well and the chat system for support is also bad. The support team themselves are actually very good. The option for a physical card would also be a plus..Version: 2022.50.3

Keeps coming up with something about a password challage failed so know I’m at a loss as to how I log in and pay the £15 I owe… my balance is £15 or less and will most likely get a charge now cos this bloody app won’t let me log in and pay.. sort it out. Excited for new concept, reality disappointingI really liked the concept of Bip, downloaded the App, passes eligibility, get to final stage and get the error message “Ooops something went wrong try again later” I tried again later over the course of 2 days at least 10 separate times! I wouldn’t waste your time, still in the sand box stage from my experience.Version: 4.6.2

Too many issuesBip was recommended to me by ClearScore, as a way of rebuilding my credit. However, as someone who banks with Nationwide, I have firstly had to call into branch to retrieve the PIN to set up the account. This wasn’t a quick process, as none of the cashiers knew about Bip or how to retrieve the PIN, and so a few calls and checks had to be made. Once I was finally able to log in to my account, all I have received since is a message to say ‘Something went wrong’ and asking me to cancel log in or try again later. This has now been doing on for 2 days and I still can’t access my account. The only way to message BIP is via the app, which I can’t do, as it won’t let me log in. Clearly should have stuck to an actual bank with actual people, rather than this online lark..Version: 2022.17.4

Waste of time. App doesn’t workI have excellent credit rating. I like new ideas in fintech so decided to give it a go. Registered and completed on boarding. A hard search added to my credit history. I’m asked to login with my email address - and voila - the app doesn’t work. Even the error message makes no sense; something about “response se cannot be serialised. I put data was nil”. I can assure you I entered my email. No way to get help anywhere. Closest thing is a chat.. in the app.. that you cannot log in from. Waste of time. Waste of hard search on my credit report. No way to get support. AVOID..Version: 4.5.3

Worse start ever!!!I have signed up on waiting list months ago for this “new concept” credit card and been waiting for them to bring it out. As soon as I got the invitation email I signed up and I got accepted but guess what?! I couldn’t finish the process because I have NEVER received an email with application number which is Wrong... Believe it or not, I am on leave and I spent 2 full days on this.. calling them to see what’s the problem they problems an email will come out but nothing comes. They cancelled my application 3 times and I tried more than 4 time. No emails comes out, even when they said “my colleague tried to call you” in reality no one called me because my phone is in wide open area. I ended up cancelling the whole process. They had enough time to bring this product flawless but it started with SHOCKING and basic technical error even small company won’t have. Not really surprised while this liked to NewDay..Version: 4.4.4

Completely pointlessThe concept of this is good, however, I was unable to process the application passed the bank check. It just constantly shows a message saying error try again later or the details don’t match the name and address. My details do match so I’ve had to give up with it in the end. Glitches need looking it. I now have a credit search on my file for no reason now!.Version: 4.5.0

Not greatAfter signing up and seeing the advert about how easy it it I thought I’d give it a go. I entered all my details and all was going well and got to the ID stage and it says the name or address in my bank don’t match. There’s no way of going back to check any of the details and you are just stuck on that page with no option, no way to go back, no help options and I’ve been forced to leave it where it is. The details 100% match apart from a middle name which, for a tech based company I would assume wouldn’t cause an issue. Disappointed with the app and set up..Version: 4.6.5

Incorrect informationI received an email to say I could apply for a Bip account. I filled in the information and it said I wasn’t eligible as I already hold either a Marbles, Aqua,Fluid or Opus card. I do not have any of these cards. The only option to contact is in writing or on the phone which no doubt will be no help. Can’t understand how they are saying I have one of these cards when I haven’t! Not very happy..Version: 4.4.3

I don’t understandI was on the 3rd check where they send you 1p into your account and it kept saying error try again! This is very frustrating as I’ve been waiting to open this account for about 1 month now because of all the checks. I bank with 2 uk banks currently and it didn’t work for either!! Rude support teamWorst App ever !!! After going through a verification process on the phone I was told my account will be working in 10 minutes and that I’ll be able to log back in. After 1 hour passes I am still unable to log in. I call up again and I go through the same exact security questions, at the end the lady I speak to doesn’t believe I am the account holder of my bip account and hangs up without even allowing me to respond Disgusting customer support I call for the 3rd time and a different lady answer and tells me I’ll have to wait for them to call me back not even given me an approximate time I mean why LIE and say that my account will be back and running in 10minutes you have really messed up things in my personal life as I thought I could rely on your company but I guess that’s not the case.
