Balance transfer promotional offerI applied for marbles credit card because of the promotional offer it was advertising. The offer consisted off as follows 0% interest on any money or balance transfer for the first 7 months. After using marbles card to do a balance transfer I was told the the balance tranfer fee had put my account in overlimit by 63p which was cleared the same day! I received a email stating I had breached contract and the promotional offer was revoked with no way of regaining such an offer, all for the sake of 63p :/.Version: 4.2.4

Declined due to a glitch!Went through the process for a PRE-APPROVED credit card, I have never had one before as I have been super careful for years and only building a credit rating through finance agreements and such, finally thought I was ready for one, and using the ClearScore offers I found one with you and as I said... PRE-APPROVED, so right before I put my e-signature down, the app crashed, I reopened and went through the process again to find “you were unsuccessful in you application” so now my first ever application for a credit card... one more time, PRE-APPROVED credit card, and it was declined through absolutely no fault of my own and to make matters worse, ClearScore appear completely unapproachable by phone, and you guys want an account or card number before I can’t talk to you... ironic isn’t it?.Version: 2.2.0

ShockingWhen I could access this app it was great, easy to use, easy to pay your bill, everything in one place. Then suddenly, the app stopped letting me log in, asking for a six digit passcode, when it’s only a four digit? No where can I get any help, not even the marbles website. I live in hope every time that an update takes place the problem will be fixed, but alas, I’m still waiting after more than a dozen updates..Version: 2022.37.2

Poor customer relation/ unable to save debit card details to make payment when requiredBeen trying to save my card details on here for moths so I can make small payments to reduce my payment at the end of the month, and I think you’ve deliberately suspended that service to mess up customers account so you can charge them the 12 pounds over limit fee, Spoke to a customer service rep about and I was advised to uninstall app and reinstall but that doesn’t change anything, I’m still unable to save card details..Version: 2022.24.1

Confusing payment requestsSuggested by Marbles I have a minimum payment amount or a boosted amount (it's to help you bring your balance down quicker) I opted to pay the boosted amount. When I went into the payment part of the App I then get another choice which was 50% higher than the boosted amount to bring me under my limit. Not clear whatsoever. Now I'm not sure where I'm at, but I bet you that they do and will slap a charge on me before I can see where I'm at. Quick to bill, slow to show what you've paid..Version: 4.2.4

InformationSome of your messages are inaccurate, rather than alerting Customer to an issue (real issue) content of said message does not always reflect the true facts! For instance, it’s good to know if as a customer your nearing a preset credit limit, but when you suggest it was passed, that was NOT right! Such information is imputed into a credit file. True or not, the effect of its inaccuracy has tangible effects on the customer, effects which could now and in the future affect credit products eligible for! Or infer inability manage payments. A credit limit is just that, a limit, an amount we can spend. Nothing in the T&C’s infers we cannot spend up to and at, yet some of the info’ you put out recently has most definately been inaccurate! Suggesting the exact opposite - l’m extremely displeased! EXTREMELY!!.Version: 2023.51.3

Worked perfectly until about 6 weeks ago, then refused to let me make payments!Right, so I've been using this app for a while. Pretty intuitive, easy to use, no problems. However, about 6 weeks ago it refused to accept payments I tried to make through the app. Called support, they said maybe due to update/upgrade. So, I waited for a while for it to settle. Alas, issue persisted. Have also just realised the app is compatible with iOS 11 and higher now, and since I'm on an older iOS (10.3.3) I'm using the last available version for my device. I'm suspecting the change to iOS 11+ compatibility has buggered it for me, and I'm not particularly happy. Would like a developer response as although customer service mean well, they don't have a clue. Thanks.Version: 2.0.7

PaymentNot happy with their payment system. When my statement is available I make a payment for more than what is requested maybe 2 weeks before the due date. However I then receive an email after the due date to say my payment is overdue (because I didn’t pay it on the day it was due)and that I’ve been charged an extra £12.Version: 2023.15.3

Only good for short termI would only recommend this as a short term credit card. If you can get any other then I would. The interest rate is high when you anyway when you first get a card but once you have used it for a while and they know you can’t afford to pay it off then they increase the interest charge. This may be legal but I find it highly immoral. Definitely don’t run up a large debt.Version: 2.6.0

Awful company to deal with!! AVOIDI have been a customer of Marbles for years. I always pay my balances in full and on time. Recently, I paid a deposit for a holiday abroad to a foreign tour operator and was charged a cash advance fee, despite me not actually withdrawing any cash? I discussed this with their customer service who agreed to waive the Cash Advance fee and I subsequently made my payment in full for the amount of the deposit paid to the tour operator. One month on and Marbles have charged me interest on the cash advance fee, which had been waived..Version: 2023.51.3

The card that wants you to fall behind with paymentThe worst customer service I have ever dealt with on any credit card they are not set up to take payment off another credit card unless you fall behind with payment then you can use any card you want All they want to do is make your account go into arrears so they can charge more interest and default charges If you phone them for help they don’t want to know avoid this card if your income is not regular or stable I myself am self employed so I don’t get paid every week as sometimes I have to wait for payment off customers and they are not willing to help in any way.Version: 2.5.0

I Have Now Given UpI used to love Marbles as I felt secure with them, but they have gone down heavily in the last couple of months. I missed a payment due to fraud/scam on my bank account, so needed new cards for everything and couldn’t pay until new cards turned up. I have never missed a payment in my life, but I was treated like the world’s worst criminal by Marbles. I couldn’t get past the security part of contacting them as I needed my card details (which hadn’t turned up yet) and I was hounded! Multiple calls a day on both my mobile and landline, emails and app notifications. They couldn’t confirm who I was, but still insisted I make a payment or face bailiffs and county court judgments! How they spoke to me was so degrading for a missed payment not even a week after the payment was actually due. I’ve now given up. I’m paying off the card and never using it again. We get warned not to talk to staff in a horrible manner, but it seems okay for them to talk to you how they see fit. Shocking!.Version: 2024.14.3

AvoidIronically I got this card to highly utilise the borrowing for a short period, I did this and made all repayments and then paid off in full all within a couple of months How did they reward me for this? Increased the rates! My balance on the card when they did this… 10p yes that’s right, I had paid it off in full although they snook in a sneaky 10p interest charge on the following months statement and increased the rates. Needless to say I have paid off the 10p too and won’t be using them further. Seems crazy to screw over someone who borrowed money then paid it off in full within a couple of months. Lots of better options out there so strongly suggest avoiding them..Version: 4.5.5

Tricked me!I’ve been paying in & spending equally but they’ve tricked me this time! Had £40 credit so purchased something for £30 ish then out the blue charged me £10 ish for something I purchased over a week a go but which was not showing at all it just come from nowhere like they’d been saving the transaction! I’m now 43p over credit which is gonna prob get me charges! Quite sneaky of them! Also I’ve been paying in for weeks & credit went straight on but now it’s over credit payments I’m making aren’t showing so after paying balance it’s still overdrawn! Also I’ve paid the minimum payment of £5 x4 times now & it’s still requesting minimum payment! Not very good & not happy not a very good card I’ll not be spending anymore & paying it off & closing !!.Version: 4.3.5

App does not work!The worst use experience of any app I have even used! The app makes you enter a user name and passcode, then asks for verification by text, this is just to log in! Then once you are in it crashes constantly, freezes, goes through making a payment and confirms the payment as you make it but doesn’t take the money. The app does not show if you have made payment for that month or if it was for the previous month, so if you can’t remember if you have paid the app doesn’t show you. I set up a direct debit last month, it has not been taken and I now have a late payment notification, I was unable to pay a couple of months ago as the app was experiencing major issues that Marbles knew about which prevented me logging in and when I finally got in the payment page didn’t work. I got a late payment for this despite the fault being their app. Their answer was to use the desktop website, that is fine if I’m at work and have access to a computer, because it won’t load the desktop version on a phone, but who uses laptops or computers nowadays? I know 3 people who have laptops, all 3 of them are work laptops supplied by their company. Everyone just uses phones and tablets. I had the problem again last month but managed to make payment before I was late, so even though I don’t like them I set up a direct debit that they have not yet taken and now marked me as late..Version: 2022.42.2

RIP off merchantsGot my new marbles card payed over monthly use most of the time never missed a payment marbles kept putting up my limit I made some big purchases and work slowed down so payed over minimum payment every time and on my next big job will pay the full balance but marbles decided to just put up my apr rate so it’s costing more ??? I did read reviews where people said this happened but I thought no they must have done something wrong but hey I know now what marbles is like my advice is don’t go with them ! my card is in two now and I will be payed up and kicking them in to touch rip off merchants.Version: 2.5.1
