✓ BlackmailThe game is really fun always liked MDickie games but I can’t get further in my characters career or signed to a new company because I haven’t spent money on a pro license which is blackmail, all my hard time spent on the game would be removed because I haven’t spent money which isn’t very fair, I get that u need to make money but I’m not willing to pay a fee to enhance the full game which I should be guaranteed due to the app being a free download, otherwise it’s a really fun game.Version: 1.3.5

✓ Fun but very limited if you’re not willing to pay upWhile my review is pretty low, I genuinely do enjoy playing these kinds of games. My only problem is the paywall behind it. While I do understand since some games do have this paywall for episodes/chapters, it just feels ridiculous to have a yearly subscription when someone can just buy it and keep everything and not worry about a subscription they forgot to cancel. Like this game is quite literally a demo if you’re not willing to shill money for it. My suggestion is to either make it all free in this app or make the full version as a separate app that charges 3.99 bc it seems like people have trouble with the subscription based payments.Version: 1.2.5

✓ Disappointed (Edit)The only redeeming thing about this game is the animation quality and the variety of moves, it’s a very repetitive annoying game to get bored of VERY quickly, the ads are unbearable I once got an ad during a fight and it didn’t pause it so I had got beaten up and couldn’t do a single thing, the Boss you’re working for is also very annoying since those contract clauses can make you get taken advantage of and wipe every thing you’ve been working on including customization which I don’t think they should control, and the overall way you fight not even knowing your move set anymore. MDicke if you’re reading this your game is VERY annoying to deal with including matches as well I had a dude tap-out and than pinned him in the ring instant kick-out how is that logical at all. This is an update to my original text. But, I just lost a match to a guy that I slammed on steel chairs, crippled, and I was half Hp he got the 3 count when I didn’t this game isn’t even realistic It’s just disappointing and the Npcs are annoying to deal with.Version: 1.4.1
✓ Update neededThis game on iPad needs huge updates especially considering switch players of which I am one get such a better deal why do iPad users get the short end of the stick having to pay a yearly fee yes it’s cheap but in terms of the two versions and which one to pick up I’d say go for the switch it’s not that expensive and you only need to pay once.Version: 1.0.4
✓ OptionsEverything about this game is better except for the career options the fact that you want us to pay PER MONTH is ridiculous. You can’t reset your career, you can’t challenge people to matches and you can’t get signed. If you where to put the career mode from wrestling revolution 3d but left the costume superstar options and graphics alone it would be a good game for a light edition plus the ability to challenge people to matches. Like leave the graphics and everything apart from the actual gameplay alone and actually did something about the game play and challenge matches an option it would be better but still want to pay for the full game just not per month just raise the price a bit and leave it at one purchase like with wr3d.Version: 1.0.1
✓ Great game but a lot is hidden behind a paywallI’m lowering my rating by 2 stars for this not because of the gameplay, but because of the fact that you HAVE to buy a pro license to even be able to play the game a lot of the time! Coach Emerson forces you in wrestling school to buy a pro license! That’s really unfair for anyone, I’d happily watch ads between each match. Which makes money anyway, MDickie doesn’t need to force us to pay a subscription to be able to play the game properly. ✓ Not the same.I used to love this game but it seems the developer has removed the abilities to do some of the fun things of the past. If you look at the update history you can see that we can no longer “spam” moves, which in my opinion was cool. Before you defend that decision, keep in mind that this game doesn’t take itself seriously so why try and lean that far into being a sim? We also don’t have much freedom when it comes to character selection in career mode and have no ability to play as a booker. The game seems to still be in some sort of development stage and considering that it is being helmed by one person, it’s pretty good. My advice would be to just play Wrestling Revolution or Wrestling Revolution 3D and return to this game in a year or so..Version: 1.1.3

✓ Pro licenceThe game does not let you sign with any other federation because they say you need to have a “pro license to join one” its basically impossible to join a federation because they are forcing you to try buy a pro license. ✓ Weekend warriors is betterI feel like WW is a more advanced game with more moves with the option to have a random move performed whenever you attack which I thought was an amazing idea and a better grappling system that makes it feel more fun it was a shame to see neither of these implemented into this game and hopefully you’ll update WW with better visuals and frame rate for the people who play your games but are more into MMA than wrestling on top of that a pro license is way less forced in WW than this game..Version: 1.0.5
✓ This game is terribleFirst off, you basically have to pay just to enjoy the game the way it’s supposed to be enjoyed. You literally can’t sign a contract for longer than 6 weeks unless “you have a pro license” the game is free I shouldn’t have to pay to play a free game, two the refs are constantly cheating you even after I turned refs off I go out the ring for about 5 counts with somebody and they’ll be at the count of 5 but I’ll be a 8 and they speed the count up to disqualify you. Not to mention if you do get a title shot and win, the game constantly puts you in stupid matches to fight against 8 people to defend your belt. And then if your contract expires, you jus get kicked off the business you’re on and go back to wrestling school, where you probably won’t get another contract offer and then will get forced to retire your player. This game has done nothing but go backwards for the original game and it’s very disappointing. Mdickie should be disappointed in themselves for putting out such a sorry product.Version: 1.3.4

✓ I like the game but..I like it but, the game play is a little slow. I don’t like that you can’t play exhibition matches. I don’t like that you don’t have more control in career mode. The graphics is a little too cartoony. How come there aren’t mode finishing moves? I like a few things on this game I just wish there were more options, moves & more to this game. In my case it’s not really a case of “ can’t please everybody” nah I just wish I could play a exhibition math or have more control over my career or more finishers to choose from. ✓ One of the worst 3D games I have ever played.The game itself is good, I like the combat and the wrestling moves, but the characters do not know how to shut up whatsoever. It seems like everytime I try and go somewhere in free roam I have a character pointing out the obvious, like I need to sleep or eat. The first few times it wasn't bothersome, but when it happens over and over again, it gets annoying. Also, the camera is TERRIBLE. You can't manually adjust it on the fly, you have to open up the pause menu, then click camera, then adjust the settings there. Is it that hard to implement manual camera controls? Speaking of the terrible camera, why does it have to automatically lock onto whoever is talking to me? If there was a setting to disable the auto lock on, I wouldn't be complaining, but it gets annoying when youre trying to walk somewhere and someone tries talking to you and the camera locks onto them. Also, why is the pro license a subscription? Your other games was just a 1 time purchase..Version: 1.5.3

When u train one, the other 2 or 3 goes down way too fast that I can’t even focus on the main one that I want to get up. ✓ SubscriptionLook I have no issues with the subscription only stuff. I’m fine that a wrestler doesn’t want to fight me because I don’t have one, or that I can’t sign for a certain amount of weeks because I don’t have one. My issue was I had to retire because I didn’t have one. This game is RNG based. Everything is, why would I pay 4 bucks when there is still RNG. There is no point and nothing in it for me. The rewards for the subscription just doesn’t seem worth it to me, but that shouldn’t affect me if I don’t have one. I shouldn’t have to retire because I don’t have one. The subscription and the RNG based elements is my only issue with the game. Other than that the game is fun and enjoyable. ✓ Not Angry,Jjust Extremely DisappointedMDickie, I’ve been a fan of your game since around 2012-13, so for most of your mobile game career. Wrestling Empire felt like a step backwards in my opinion. I followed you though its development with much excitement. While the presentation of the game feels better, the gameplay seems worse than WR3D. I actually went back and redownloaded it (Backstage Pass Edition) and I felt the overall gameplay was better. Wrestling Empire is smoother, there’s no doubt about that, but that smoothness was easily interrupted through poor hit detection buggy gameplay and slow pacing. My punches and kicks rarely hit, running moves never connects and they constantly bump into each other like PS1 Smackdown games. The punching and kicking seemed to be a problem for the AI aswell, missing 3-4 punches before hitting me. Matches seemed more of a stuggle than a joy to play though. Coding for Tag Team matches is broken, no one ever staying in corners, the ref focused on my partner on the apron while I pin a guy for 30 seconds while my partner was just standing there, you can switch to your partner on the apron when your the legal man but cannot switch back to the person in the ring, partners going on the opposite side of the ring and staying there, etc. Reversals seemed ampted up to 11 this game, everything from a Headlock, Right Jab and Boston Crab seemed to be put into this 4 part reversal chain that ended up no where. I know that Skill effects your chances to reverse but 75% shouldn’t be that botchy. I know how your MDickie games play from Wrestling Mpire, and even games like Reach and The MDickie show to now. There very unique in there own regard, but gameplay seems so terrible in comparison to your other 3D games. Paceing was an issue for me. The game felt to slow and I was upset at my inability to find a game speed percentage button. If there is one that I may not have seen, then I apologize and retract my claim. I would like to comment on the roster, updated and changed models but I can’t even do such because 95% of the roster is locked. It’s a unique idea to have to unlock people as your career progresses, but I can’t even see the whole thing which is ridiculous. While the game is quite flawed in my experience, many presentations and “outside of ring” features are great improvements. More interactions and opportunities such as forming a union and being a radio station guest, really elevated the experience for me. Expansion of contract clauses are a welcomed addition which add extra elements when negotiating a deal. The game, while in that MDickie style, looks great. Smooth camera work, addition of commentators ringside, graphics, characters all help with the overall product. New sounds take getting use to if you have played past games but I like them over the older sounds. A huge disappointment was making the premium version subscription based. Personally you could charge $10-15 dollars for the game and your fans and myself would pay it. I know you huge plans for the game, so I can see why you would use such as system, but I would prefer if there was a 1 time payment option aswell. I’m going to give the game a pass for the time being, the overall experience from download to now left a really sour taste in my mouth. I imagine most if these issues will get fixed with time, as again you seem to have huge plans for this game which is great. You practically own a monopoly on wrestling games, which is rightfully deserved; all my experiences with your past games reinforce that, just not for this one. Like I said above, i’ve been following you for years, and have spent loads of money on getting the premium versions. Wrestling Revolution, Booking Revolution, WR3D, Hard Time 2D, Popscene and School Days. That’s not even mentioning the hours I spent on your PC games like Reach, Under Development, Grass Roots, Popcorn, WW:Alpha. My experience with this game was very disappointing. ✓ This game is trying to pressure me into paying for itThe game is good but one thing I absolutely Despise is that you will get no where in your career without buying a pro license. The game pushes buying it onto you bookers wont hire you unless you have one and if your lucky enough to get a contract the contract won’t be good at all.
