Atomic Metronome for Positive User Reviews
✓ Excellent metronome app!Simple to use yet detailed enough to really help students understand compound and irregular time signatures. The choose your own colour option is a lovely bonus. I’m recommending this app to all my music students!.Version: 1.1
✓ Perfect build. Finally.I have dreamt of a stable, easily navigable, and professionally competent metronome for years. This is it. Aside from the color selection, which I find to be helpful for my eyes in low light studio atmosphere, it’s entirely streamlined without any unnecessary bells and whistles. The menus for selection of time and division, as well as controlling for tone and sustain of sub counts in polyrhythm is thorough. It will be incredibly beneficial for exploring new playing to experiment with these settings when writing. I would love to see this concept expanded into a common DAW compatible plug in. The mobile is everything it needs to be and then some, and this functionality inside Reaper or Pro Tools would be invaluable..Version: 1.2
✓ Best metronomeAccurate and amazing for practice! I particularly love the customisation options: programming in bespoke missing beats is invaluable for groove practice - my favourite new bass buddy!.Version: 1.4
✓ This app is AMAZING!! Review by @JaydadrumsIt’s one of the best metronome apps I’ve used. It’s so simple, easy to use and navigate but you can do so much with it! You can add odd time signatures, add beat divisions and add silent notes as rests. You can even change the sound of your click which is so awesome. There’s different tools and settings to customize it however you want and need. So simple but has everything you’ll ever need and want in a metronome. I’m a drummer myself and this metronome works great and will be so helpful to any other musicians out there. You can even colour customize it to your liking! It’s such an awesome app. My search for metronome apps is over!.Version: 1.2
✓ I Like It!…and might rate it a 5 if they fix the bug where the tempo numbers overwrite themselves making them unreadable..Version: 1.7
✓ Practical tool!Great features for a metronome. Not quite a “drum machine.” Wish it had a few more “percussion sounds and a little more subdivision options. Nice graphic on main page and very quick manual tempo change function..Version: 1.4
✓ Simplistic awesome metronomeLove the pitch change feature so the sound doesn't fatigue your ears.Version: 1.7
✓ Brilliant app! This is the most versatile and easy to use metronome app I’ve come across..Version: 1.2
✓ Such an amazing tool!Very intuitive and easy to use. Great fun as well with all the creative settings!.Version: 1.1
✓ Best I’ve found - only one drawbackThe options of this metronome are great. Changing the colour of the app, simple synthesizer like control of your preferred metronome sound (Pitch, duration, tonality), and the ability to make set lists are all great features. My only note would be that the sound doesn’t continue to play in the background if I switch apps to, for example, a photo or pdf of the piece of music I’m playing..Version: 1.5
✓ Accurate and simple interfaceAlways looking for an improved metronome and this has some good features. I especially like the ability to customize the click and the sliding tempo adjustment that makes it easy to select a new BPM on the fly. If there was a way to run this in split view on the iPad it would be ideal for me as I'm using it live with a band and have some other apps that I would like to see at the same time. Otherwise thanks for the chance to try it out for free!.Version: 1.7
✓ WoaavYou can change the pitch of the metronome,, it’spretty coolio 🤘🏻.Version: 1.6
✓ Off-beat clicksThis is amazing and goes way beyond what anything else out there out there does. I like to practice with a displaced click, where I perceive the click not as being on the beat, but being on say, every third 16th note. With a regular metronome, I always find it hard making the mental adjustment to feel the pulse against that when starting to play, but with this device, you can have a regular count-in after which it plays a displaced click. One new device, one years-old problem solved!.Version: 1.6
