✓ AddictiveLoved this game, it keeps you engaged, however some levels are impossible to complete, the controls are not responsive enough, the only way to complete them is to use a hint, which you may have to pay for. Having said that, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add more levels!!! Have finished all the levels now, desperately waiting for more. Also please make the miners home bigger so we can add all the items we get into his home..Version: 1.1.4
✓ Appears to be no way to move to next levelI really like getting the little miners out of sticky situations. However, I’ve finished level 21, have 4 flights of my cave full of ugly furniture that can no longer be swapped or upgraded, can get no more “happiness” points, so my only alternative is to replay levels. ✓ Too many glitchesAs others have said, there are way too many little glitches that mean you HAVE to use a solution to get past a level. Eg: 34-18, the little chap just cannot leave the ramp in the water tank - keeps turning round on himself. Also, it EATS battery on an iPhone 7 plus! Makes the phone get quite hot. ✓ Accidentally hit the hit buttonLove the fame, but two or three times I have accidentally touched the hint button when I didn’t need it, and there’s no way to back out and not use it. I’ve only needed a hint once for real so want to save them for the devilishly hard puzzles. Any chance, since there’s only two or three hints available, to add an “Are you sure you want to use a hint?” I would have said NO, I can figure this out. Incidentally, how do you get hints? ✓ A really really good gameBut as others have said, the fact that some levels just don’t work unless you use a solution is very very VERY annoying. ✓ Best game everFor me Mine Rescue is the best game I’ve ever played. You have as much time that you need to work out the best way to rescue the little miner. Sometimes it’s take a few attempts to get there but when you do it gives you a lift! You can go back to the beginning of the level and start again as many times that you need. ✓ FantasticLoved this game, played it for hours at a time. It’s fun figuring out how to move the rocks, crates, boxes to get to the exit. Unlike other games that go from easy to practically impossible, this game has easy, medium and harder levels interspersed throughout. There’s something really satisfying about making paths in the sand and seeing it fall away. Best feature is there’s no limit on lives. You don’t have to wait for anything to refill. Being able to furnish miner’s mine home with items you buy with coins collected is pretty neat. The only issue I had was sometimes on replay the miner does differently, like on your first attempt he can make a certain jump, but on re-tries he can’t. I hope they’ll add even more levels in the future. I’ve finished the game and miss playing it. I found ad-free and hints purchases worth the small amount of money, but they’re not necessary..Version: 1.1.5

✓ This is an update of a previous review.I didn’t see any way to update the (4 star) review I made a few days ago, so now I’m leaving another review. The developer’s response gave me the information I was not smart enough to see right in front of my eyes! I was able to skip the individual level that was, imo, impossible, even though I had seen the hint/solution. Up until level 17-2, I had managed to successfully clear even those levels others had said they couldn’t beat. ✓ Fun. A great game!I’m really enjoying this game. The best thing is it doesn’t cost any real money. Watch adds for help. The only problem is level 10-12! You can’t pass it! ✓ Loved this game.Be careful. 2 times I purchased the ability to get help, 1 for 99 and when it failed I said the heck with it and paid for 3 cheats and both times it took my my money. Sad, I spent at least 50 per week but once f-d I deleted the app. Fun game otherwise. I was addicted. I just don’t like getting screwed. Update: I was contacted immediately regarding this issue. I appreciate a company who follows up when a user is unhappy. ✓ Love this game!This is a fantastic game! I’ve beat all the levels without paying for help, so it is possible. To me, it was well worth a few bucks to buy the ad-free version for the hours and hours of play. I enjoy that there isn’t a limit on lives; lets me play longer, and try different strategies. I love how the different blocks, rocks and sticks can be manipulated through the sand/dirt to get my little miner where he needs to go. Definitely some tricks to it, and a bit of finesse needed, but to me that’s a big part of the fun! Can’t wait for more levels! For now, though, back to the start!.Version: 1.2.4

✓ Relaxing amusing puzzleReally enjoyed this the last 48hrs but some levels the little guy won’t move and just looks left to right. I’ve made the correct moves but have to use the solution for the guy to move and doing exactly the same moves. ✓ I love this game but…Tried to find a place to report a bug, but a review seems to be the only option. I did level 24-8 over and over and couldn’t get the miner to go home. I finally broke down and spent the .99 on the solution. Imagine my surprise when the solution was the exact SAME THING I had done at least 10 times. Only when I did it the miner just climbed up and down the ladder over and over but wouldn’t jump off onto the box at the bottom. ✓ Fantastic gameThis is a great game, and it just presents you with more and more difficult situations as you go along. Each level has 20 different escapes (and so far I am on level 21 - that’s 420 escapes so far) so there are new tools and challenges along the way (yes, even zombies) you have to deal with. Eventually I did pay the $3.99 to remove the ads but was well worth it. I have never wrote a review for a game yet, but could not stop myself from congratulating this games dev team for a job well done!.Version: 1.2.9

✓ Great game. Minor flawThere’s certain levels in which you can do everything perfectly but the “randomness” makes you lose every time. Then when you use the hint it does the exact thing you’ve been doing the entire time but for whatever reason you can’t win. I’ve had this happen on at least 4 levels. 13-19 was the most recent level this happened on. Every time I did it the miner made it threw the trap door so got he got locked up above. After an entire day of trying I ended up doing the hint and he for some reason didn’t make it threw the door this time. nothing was different from when I was trying. Other than this problem, I love the game. Even the ads were not that bad, but I did buy ad free..Version: 1.1.3
✓ Most played game on my phoneThis game is great. Most levels are quick but get your brain thinking. I enjoyed it so much I happily paid to remove the ads. One think I noticed Is if you pay to remove the ads, you can’t watch an ad to skip a difficult level which is kind of a pain. There are some glitches, hence the four stars, but still an enjoyable game. Some levels even though you are doing exactly what is needed, the game won’t work correctly. This is minimal but still annoying. The only suggestion I have is possibly a daily or weekly log in bonus to help with those games that are too stressful or don’t seem to work correctly (or you just can’t figure out). ✓ Good but some problemsOne is that the state machine obviously is missing possibilities. It gets stuck in a tight loop where the action and sound become gibberish. One example is the miner doesn’t know what to do if he doesn’t get to the bottom of ladder, even though there is a place for him to move. You can say it means you lost but I consider it poor game play. It also bothers me that I can do the exact same thing numerous times and it fails until it doesn’t. The screen freezes up and it forces me to close the game and open it again just to find out it freezes up again. Not really sure what's going on. ✓ Great game…when it doesn’t cheat.This is a really fun casual puzzle game that reminds me of Lemmings. My only complaint is that sometimes it just cheats. I’ve had several levels where I simply could not solve the level, asked for a hint and it did the same things I did but the miners behaved differently. Most recently I was on the last cave of level 15 and the miners get to the exit but won’t go through. Even when I asked for the hint, one of the two miners freezes as he’s about to go through the exit so I can’t finish the level..Version: 1.1.7

✓ Some levels you have to use solution or you can’t passLove the game, love the little fella, however as some have previously said, on some levels, you have to use a solution or it will not let you pass. Eg a big drop which kills you, but if you do exactly the same things on the same level, using the solution, the big drop doesn’t kill you. Ditto there’s one level where you drop a stone on a seesaw to launch a box to hit another stone. The first stone will not launch the box high enough to hit the second stone, but if you use the solution, it magically hits the second box. Please can you sort so that we only use solutions for when we are really stuck? I actually got up to level 18 but got so stuck on a level with a problem silimar to the above, and had no solutions left to help me pass it, that I deleted the game, re-downloaded it and started again 😏.Version: 1.1.5

✓ Needs some workThe game is really fun, but there are a few problems as well. First, the little character is really slow, and you have to press and hold on the screen for him to go faster. Also, every time I finish a level, an ad appears. It’s really annoying and it wastes my time. I really hope that you can adjust these issues. ✓ Love this little guyThis game has made me even more antisocial than I was lol. It’s really addictive. Yeah, there is the odd glitch but it’s easy enough to skip a level and then go back to it. ✓ One of the best action puzzle games ever !!!I’ve been playing this Mine Rescue for some time, the developer keeps improving it with upgrades and more ways to stretch your brain. Many levels are “challenging” they take ingenuity, logic, and often quick reflexes to solve, there are hints and thankfully if the level is just too hard, you can skip it. I paid the low fee for the “no ads” option but ads are necessary for hints and skipping. This is a very clever and often humorous way to spend a few hours. I took a short break, now that I’m back playing, driving myself NUTS, my opinion only gets better every time I play. (I wasn’t paid to say these things—I mean every word). This is GREAT COLOSSAL STUPENDOUS AMAZING GIMPY SMITH APPROVED FIVE STAR RATED FUN AND EXCITEMENT (and a few impossible scratch-yer-head what’s with this thing anyway moments of concentration and confusion). I agree with other reviews that say you can try and try on a level and die every time, but if you use the hint it will have you do the exact same thing and you can beat the level 🙄 also, now I’m running into the fact that part of the puzzle (i.e. sand that needs to be removed to release a rock or a board) is behind the buttons in the upper right hand corner and I can’t see what needs to be done.
