The Witcher Tales for Positive User Reviews

Top drawer gameSad that I’ve finished Throne breaker this morning after a solid 40hrs of gameplay. Top notch, story driven game which was well acted throughout. Hoping for a follow-up in the Witcher world by the same stable..Version: 1.0

Criminally UnderratedPeople should be preaching the word of this game barefoot. Seriously. This just hit all the right spots for me. Queen Meve is such a compelling and interesting character, so is the rest of the cast. The soundtrack, story and atmosphere is incredible. I also happen to love Gwent. One word of warning to people though: Most of the companions you meet can decide to leave you if you do something they don’t like, and often in ways you can’t really can’t predict. In fact, in one particular instance you’re forced to pick between two companions unless you ignore that optional instance. I would advise getting a list online of these instances that can result in losing followers, but ONLY those choices. A big part of the game revolves around constantly choosing between the lesser of two evils, but if you have a list of every choice it can become all too easy to just sit there and make every choice based on a spreadsheet. So yeah, just be warned. Other than that, a criminally underrated experience that deserves so much more attention. A full Witcher game using these characters and plots would be a godsend..Version: 1.1

Amazing gameBest game ever, worth the money. I’ve been playing it on and off for 6 months and still haven’t finished it but enjoy it so much. Definitely invest in this!.Version: 1.1

Witcher at it’s bestBest game ever..Version: 1.1

Very Fun and Enjoyable Story and GameplayI don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve played all the Witcher Games, and play the separate Gwent game. The story telling of Thronebreaker is really good. Some of the puzzles are pretty challenging and most are fun. The story battles can be difficult, but are always enjoyable. One solid play through is roughly 60hrs of gameplay. Definitely worth the $10 price tag.Version: 1.1

Great storyGreat companion story to The Witcher. It’s free at first and you can own it without predatory in app purchases. Fair and reasonable price and a good product..Version: 1.0

Far from ‘dull’.Excellent story, brilliant integration of card game mechanics into a story-driven RPG. An RPG is essentially what this game is, but the story and the card game mechanics previously mentioned have plenty of time in the spotlight. Feels like a European loveletter to Fire Emblem. So impressed with how much depth in all respects CD Projekt Red were able to incorporate into such a modest format. Approach this game like you’re about to commit to a Netflix series, because when it’s all over, the story and the characters are something I miss like a long distance friendship..Version: 1.0

Beautiful gameGreat mobile port of a fantastic game. The story is gripping, graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is fun. AAA game for a steal I don’t get the negative reviews - you can save anytime so it’s very playable on mobile. Maybe it’s something that was only added recently.Version: 1.1

RecommendNaprawdę świetna gra oby takich podobnym było więcej.Version: 1.1

Great game but horrid app transitioningI wasn’t one of the people who bought the premium before, I was just shocked to see that Thronebreaker had such a terrible review here because it is an amazing game on the PC. Then I read the reviews of how previous buyers of the mobile game are being treated on here. Come on guys. I’m a dev too, just do a 1:1 carryover for the people who bought the app previously onto here. Otherwise this port is pretty ok and playable..Version: 1.1

Frustrating, game breaking bug.I was excited to play this game, however I am stuck on the very first level. I win the first Gwent game and then the button to end my turn does not work; preventing me from progressing. I have restarted and tried again, only to encounter the same bug. I was considering paying for the full version, but if the bugs are occurring at this game breaking level then I can’t. Please fix this!.Version: 1.1

I played a bit (hour or so)I’m not going to say I’ve spent like Witcher 2/3/cyberpunk time on this. I’m really a pretty casual gamer I’ll put in time over my vacations gaming usually. I’m 44 a software engineer with a family do the math… what the point. This game is fun, you can play it casually. It’s not as engrossing as something like a true open world game (the main games I like) but as a casual strategy game it ‘s fun you can just kind of poke at it where ever. My favorite feature, story music, and the narration. I usually play most games at low difficulty for story, so it fits me well. And I only play solo games unless with my daughter, so this fits all well too. Reviews are a bit low for this game. I scanned them, and it appears to me there was some drama about moving from one licensing model to another, I can totally understand about that. I’ll say in general I’m a pretty big cdpr. Fan, and I liked cyberpunk and I’m not exactly in this cdpr hate camp. So if anything that probably boosts my interesting and delight here, but it’s not a bad game. I think it’ s fun, and I don’t normally go for the ultra geeky low tech stuff. Don’t expect triple A. I’d love to see more good iPad games made though. It fits the scenario well. It’s like this locked down computer with An m1 chip love the security but its a perfect way to use some of that power. This is totally what apple should be enticing devs to do. One other ask because I know CDPR usually listens. It would be nice if you didn’t require the internet connection on iPad. It’s pretty locked down the percentage of people that would bypass copy right is minimal. It kinda your entire anti drm thing. iPad doesn’t often have cell and then people can play in the car or on the road..Version: 1.1

No restore purchase option?!I’ve already bought the iOS version of this game. The original game has been replaced with this version which is asking us to repurchase the full game? There is a cloud sync but this still does not allow for the full game to be played. Please address this!!.Version: 1.0

Incredible StoryTruly one of the best written games I have ever played. I’ve completed the game at least ten times now and keep coming back for more. The characters are complex and engaging and will stay with you long after you finish the game, and some of the decisions you face will have you wondering for hours if you made the right choice - in the best way! Truly masterful storytelling, highly recommended for fans of The Witcher and newcomers to the world alike..Version: 1.0

The bestI have never played card games, but I love The Witcher and I really liked this game. Probably the best game I've ever had on an iPad. Thank you CDPR!.Version: 1.1

One of the best games I’ve playedIt’s a great game, the scenario, music, voices, and story are nicely elaborated. It reminded me of my times playing The Witcher; and you can guess who makes his appearance of course and who knows, maybe you will learn a few more things about his past 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼.Version: 1.1
