✓ Invalidated my old purchases and savesI already had this product on iOS, from back when it was called Thronebreaker. Now it’s been re-released as a separate entry in the App Store, with the old one taken down. This means if I want to get version updates, or move to a new device, I have to buy this app again, and start from scratch with a new save game! Unacceptable. ✓ Gwent syncronization does not workFirst off let me say that the game is great! The 1 star hopefully gets attention of the dev team and my issue gets speedily resolved I installed gwent via gog desktop app. I purchased the thronebreaker app from the appstore, but when i try to link to my gwent account to access rewards there, it says synchronization failed. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling several times but does not work and i really feel bad about missing contracts in gwent and hope there is a solution to this Happy to change my review to 5 stars after this gets resolved.Version: 1.1

✓ Good and BadTwo versions: original premium version and this freemium version. Issue: freemium version doesn’t honor premium version purchase. Either download the premium version from your Purchase History which will no longer receive updates, or purchase the unlock in the freemium version since this version will receive updates. No matter how you swing it, a Restore Purchases option would’ve been appreciated in the freemium version. As for the game, it’s challenging and the story is very well written and presented. The interface is a bit cramped on the iPhone, so I’d recommend giving this a go on an iPad..Version: 1.0

✓ Can’t get past tutorialThere is a bug in the tutorial where it wants to you cast a specific creature, but that creature is obscured by the pop up box telling you to cast it, so it is impossible to do the action. But after checking reviews and for myself by going on airplane mode to see thronebreaker CANNOT BE PLAYED OFFLINE I was bummed. I will be traveling and was looking forward to play this game but the online purchase validating does nothing but sabotage the potential of thronebreaker’s mobile port. Unfortunately, it seems to have been ported to iPad as an afterthought, with lots of bugs including u responsiveness, failure to save progress, tutorial cards masking the actions they're asking you to take etc. Clearly hasn't been tested properly on iPad. ✓ STILL NO GWENT REWARDSI’ve googled over and over trying to find out why the rewards won’t transfer to my gwent account.. I’ve clicked multiplayer and linked through Facebook, the App Store, and the game login but nothing ever shows up. I don’t think I’ve read of anyone who successfully got the rewards to transfer? With such a big incentive that has obviously had difficulties for quite some time, why has it not even been addressed? As far as the game, other than hoping for a wider variety of core deck mechanics and potential cards which is made is compensated by the presence of the story, I can’t really complain. Game gets a 3.7/5… but not addressing the transfer of gwent rewards is a big deal..Version: 1.1

✓ Sport modeFrom what little I’ve played of the game itself, it seems to be a good port of a fantastic game. However, to necessitate an internet connection on launching the game, particularly on a device that is as portable as an iPad, is a bizarre decision. A significant proportion of iPads are Wi-fi only. If you wanted to play this to pass the time when you’re traveling, or out and about, you will be disappointed. This port is a bit like having a car that only allows sport mode when it’s parked. ✓ Poorly Handled App TransitionI have no idea why CDPR isn’t honoring premium app purchases in this new freemium version (which is now the only version being supported with updates). Other apps have made a similar transition while honoring premium app purchases as unlocked in-app purchases. So it is not a technical limitation but one of effort. CDPR should make a commitment to its loyal customers who made an early show of support for the app. Otherwise, this comes of as a pure money-grab. **Reply to Developer Response** Yes, we can still access our purchase, but you have stated to others that you are no longer supporting updates to that app version. ✓ Gwent was fun, this is notThe game is basically a series of puzzle Gwent matches. That seems like a fun idea, but the puzzles feel like they’re designed to require a very specific set of actions and cards to win, so the match is less about clever strategy and more about frustrating trail-and-error until you find the exact series of actions required to win. To make things worse, each match starts with random card draws, so if you don’t have the cards you need you can lose before you even begin. But the final straw is that your AI opponent seems to have a massive advantage over you in every match, like you’re a beginner playing against a pro, so you never just lose, you’re crushed in defeat every time in a way that makes the game feel impossible and hopeless. Gwent is a great multiplayer card game, but unfortunately this single player spin-off just feels wildly unbalanced..Version: 1.1
