✓ Buggy for $15I’ve been playing Gwent for years but for $15 Project Red this is way too buggy to be released. I can’t get a quest without multiple game crashes and text too hard to scroll or glitches out. Fun idea and fun to play just wish it was smoother and cheaper. ✓ Great except for last cardI love this game except for one glaring aspect. The enemy is always the last to play a card (that’s not the issue) and the game moves on and declares defeat or victory without giving you a chance to find out how you won or lost (more importantly lost). There’s no way to go back and see the last enemy turn. For instance, on my last round, I ended my turn 32 points up on the enemy. On enemy’s last turn, lots of stuff happened very quickly and suddenly it shows my defeat by one point. I think this is a major oversight and very frustrating. It’s very annoying to lose on the last turn, but infuriating to not even know how or why!.GTjamoneVersion: 1.0.4

✓ Just not worth 10 bucksNot sure what CD Projekt Red was going for with this game. I’ve been pro rank in Gwent a couple times and have plenty of experience with the game. Rogue mage attempts to make Gwent a single player experience and it’s just not that fun. Many complaints and some good things too so I’ll start with the good and then the bad. Good 1. The game can be played offline making it a good time when internet can’t be reached 2. Gwent is a great game and you should try it if you haven’t 3. The game is challenging, so if you’re into that, you’ll enjoy the challenge. Bad 1. They’ve changed all the cards in this game. They’ve changed some of the mechanics too… why..? No great reason. But it makes the game confusing for Gwent players. 2. The graphics aren’t great, the writing is meh and there’s no great story to follow. 3. My biggest complaint is that this game costs 10 dollars… it’s a cash in. If it was free with some dlc… okay fine. But 10 bucks for this game is somehow a rip off. And 10 bucks isn’t much. If you want to play Gwent, go buy it for free and play Gwent and buy all the dlc you want. This game is boring and tedious and isn’t worth 10 bucks. Isn’t worth 5 honestly. 4. To me there’s nothing more frustrating than building up a cool deck, having everything right, beating a level and then having to start all over with a new deck. Why not let us keep our decks? Every “run” is the same, so many of the enemies are repeated. This game could have been great but it’s just not. For 10 bucks you’d have more fun with a wishing well..CYFRRR1Version: 1.0.3

✓ Room to improve1. The map is too linear. The ability to backtrack and revist nodes would add a subtle layer of dynamism. 2. Disappointed existing Gwent card collections cannot be used with amended abilities and/or statistics to reflect the different time period. 3. Disappointed the factions have been removed and cards seemingly placed in random factions. For example, Gascon: Iron Falcon as a monster card does not reflect the card, the card’s abilities and what is the reason for Gascon being a card if the game is set ‘hundreds of years before Geralt…’ (CDProjekt Red’s own words). 4. The AI is appalling and too simplistic. It borrows too heavily from Thronebreaker. Coupled with the ability to use existing cards/factions this would be a strong selling point to Gwent fans and add a further level of replayability to an otherwise weak offering..Trident157Version: 1.0.3

✓ Nice game but currently has game breaking bugsDear CD project red. I like your games m, including this one. However it’s crashes every 10 minutes. It also has gameplay bugs where the numbers are not being updated between turns or when the cards numbers are not being updated when upgrading. ✓ DecentSo having played the game a little bit now the first thing I’d like to say is it’s very enjoyable and very much the Gwent we know and love but with Roguelike mechanics thrown in to always keep things unique each run through. However, the game demands a LOT from your device especially if your playing on your phone, battery life depletes VERY quick, you’ll often get a long horrible bout of lag cause your phone gets hot and there’s lots of crashes. Then there’s the one issue I’ve found with gameplay, more of a design thing than a bug or anything but the starting deck you get is quite terrible, you’ll never complete a run with it as even the later ‘normal’ fights require you to spend energy most turns to keep up with your opponent and don’t even think about the elite fights with it! The enemy decks are way too strong for the deck that you get given and you only really get to change 9/10 cards in any one run through (not enough to build a new deck or transform the one you have) so if you don’t mind grinding losses until you can unlock the later decks then you’ll be alright but the game is good fun whilst grinding though.KandjanxjakzmxVersion: 1.0.1

✓ Mostly fun; slow animations and unintelligibleThe basic gameplay loop is fun. A few points against it: - Waiting through extremely slow repetitive animations between turns is very much not fun. I get tired of this frequently and stop playing. - When the game should take its time, it doesn’t. There is little or no time to understand the effect of enemy cards when they’re played. Instead, one has to find the card on the board and then read about what just happened. - The game is poorly documented. Many mechanics aren’t easy to understand or are never explained at all. - Sometimes extreme spikes in difficulty. It’s unclear whether I’m unlucky or not playing well. ✓ Great game but very frustrating crashes.It’s a great Game with huge potential. The Roguelike mechanics are really fun and satisfying. It’s especially great if you have some experience of Gwent already. However I’ve had some really annoying crashes occurring twice at the end of the last bus which has resulted in me losing a whole run having just defeated a tricky boss.
