✓ Fun and cuteI have played for a day now although you need to pay to get the extra stuff for your mellows to survive I still did and it is super cute and a great pass time.Version: 0.59
✓ Great gameThe game is amazing, it is very fun to play but only for 30 minutes. There is not enough stuff to do. It gets boring too fast. I like everything else about it, it is very balanced but is too easy to win. My suggestions are, first make different levels. Easy mode where everything is faster and cheaper, and people consume less foods, to hard mode where everything is expensive, people eat more food, winters are colder and longer, farms produce less, and build time is increased. This would add more variety to the game for new and experience players. Next double the current dlc in content, and make it free to all players. Then make a new dlc with loads of new buildings and jobs. This would make the game take longer, making people play it more. Something that I think would be cool is to have late game buildings like a doc, ship builder, map maker, and more. They would let players travel to new islands, (maybe add some ai towns for trade?), with new animals, resources, and buildings. This would let players decide if they want to expand their game or keep it simple. That’s just my thought, idk what you guys have planned for this game but this is what I think would be fun, this is comming from me in a position to spend money on a DLC event tho I know it will only give me a hour maybe of new things to do. ✓ Amazing game, but…I’d like to start off with this is one of the most fun games I have on my phone. I’ve had this game for probably 2 years if not longer and I keep coming back to it. My main issues are with the Deer and Sheep Pastures. The animals just disappear lol It will say there are 4 adults or maybe 4 babies but there’s nothing in it and the mellow never knows what to do. I don’t want to destroy it because the resources are then wasted, plus it would probably just happen again. Sometimes the farmers just don’t work either, and the school teacher is always super broken and will teach one class then the school says there’s no teacher but if you assign a new one… there’s now 2 teachers! I’ve also been having issues with the church recently. It doesn’t stay the way I place it (it always turns and faces to the left when I exit the game) and it hasn’t been blessing my mellows at all so they keep getting depressed :( Otherwise it’s super fun and addicting!.Version: 1.2

✓ Good game concept, needs workI have personally played this game for a few months now, and there is only a few things I think need to be fixed/adjusted. First thing that needs to be fixed: Lag/Glitching One thing that has stayed consistent is the constant lag I get when I reach a higher number of mellows. Even at lower numbers the game lags, freezes and forces me to restart the game. If this is fixed I’d genuinely play this game so much more. Adjust the amount of food they consume, it does take a lot to feed them and it’s more difficult than it should. Possibly add more work shops and new resources! I feel it would be really cool to add new materials to grind for! Increase the size of the map, I feel it gets very limiting and there’s a cap to how large you can grow. Possibly make it more “worldly” or make the maps a lotttt larger and have a mode to vs NPC’s and possibly merge villages or fight. Possibly add a negative counter to this by adding aggressive animals like wolfs etc that can kill live stock etc so it’s not too broken. Add a form of currency to the game especially if you add the larger maps and NPC villages that vary in size. Other than the lag and food issue I feel this game would be really fun and I’d genuinely play a lot more but until then it’s a once a month if that type game.Version: 0.60

✓ Great game!I really enjoy this game! It has a lot of factors that keep me entertained for hours. I did buy the DLC which made it much more playable. I would love if some bugs/functions would be sorted out. Workers often stop working for very long periods of time and barely work when they do. The pregnant Mellows haven’t given birth and I have 22 of them… and have had 22 of them for what seems like several game years. The delivery guy really makes my gameplay much more difficult. Instead of being useful (ie, delivering needed materials to businesses and homes) they just run back and forth hoarding materials that sometimes hinder my Mellows. For instance, when they had every potion and my Mellows were all sick. I would love for these things to be improved, and maybe some new jobs too!.Version: 0.59

✓ Pretty good but..It is a good game and I like how it looks like and how you can see the mellows move around and do their jobs. BUT THEY DIE TOO QUICKLY , it takes ma little while to build the herbalist shop and I build it as one of my first buildings because they get ill so quickly. And then I make small and medium potions but they still die and die. And it takes them like 3 secs to die. They don’t even have enough time to get the cure and it’s pretty hard and I lose like all my mellows apart from 3 or 4 and so I get stressed and make another world but then again on the 5th or 6th season most of them die. ✓ Fun to play but glitchy and a terrible ad experienceI honestly really enjoy the basic game play without the DLC. It’s very relaxing to me. What ISN’T enjoyable or relaxing in any way, shape, or form is the loud banner ads. I don’t mind ads in mobile games. I actually embrace them as a part of the experience so long as they aren’t TOO intrusive. The ads in this game are a perfect example of too intrusive. While they aren’t cutting you off in the middle of game play they are ever present. The main ads are in a banner at the bottom of the screen and they are, obnoxiously enough, audio and video ads. And they are loud. I can’t enjoy good background noise while playing the game and there isn’t an in app setting to turn off active ad sounds. It’s disruptive and makes me more angry at both the game and the advertisers. As far as the glitchiness goes I have really only had trouble with a really well known glitch. The glitch is when a mellow will take a break and never go back to work. It’s exhausting finding those mellows and moving them around so that they will actually work..Version: 0.60
✓ Well done!This game is actually pretty fun. It’s simple and if you get the expansions it keeps ya busy. Is there any chance we could get a pc version please? One thing I didn’t like is the audio ads that play. We should have the ability to mute them straight away and close the ad bar if your going to do it like that. I mean the other ads we use to speed things up or get resources is fine cause the player can choose when they need it but also not be bombarded with ads. However the ads that are constantly on screen should go and if that’s not possible then the player should be able to turn them off before or exactly as soon as they appear.Version: 0.60
✓ It’s a good game.While it is a very nice game to play while you’re bored, or want to take your mind off things, there is one issue that I have, if you somehow must up like I did at first, it’s hard to fix it. ✓ Short and sweet/some ideasLove the game. I’m so addicted. I do think paths would be cool so trees and shrubs can’t grow on the path. Mellows seem to be pregnant for a very long time and some die before giving birth. I noticed mellows will get stuck in “break time.” Also I think it would be cool if you could choose what a shed holds. Weather it be a couple different types of items like 3 types. And also have the choice for it to be miscellaneous. Backpacks would be interesting too. If you just have the tailor make them. I think it would be cool to see what’s in the wagon somehow? I think the delivery man should drop the cart when/if they die. The herbalist should be able to heal the dying if the dyings vitals (hunger),(health) isn’t 0. Another idea I had to improve birth mechanics , is to make it to where the female can only get pregnant when she turns a certain age( 21 and up) and it would take 6-8 seasons until birth starts?.Version: 0.60

✓ It’s got potentialIt’s quite enjoyable, the look of it is quite cute and the different problems to solve is interesting. My main problem is the DLC. I’ve got a problem with the unhappiness area. From what I can see the only way to raise it without the DLC is having children and there isn’t really a way to control it, not even mentioning that any character can become unhappy and it is inevitable. ✓ Off to a good start but needs some fixes and more content.This game is good but definitely not worth a 5$ expansion pack. More stuff needs to be added for free. I get the developer wants to make money but games like clash royal and clash of clans are free and make millions of dollars. I’ve been playing the game for a day and it’s already getting a little boring since there isn’t much else to do but sit and wait since I don’t have the expansion. Maybe you could add something that allows your camp to be attacked but you could then have built defense towers or have weapons and armor for your people. Also having more than 2 kinds of homes could be useful or a kind of trading aspect to the game. You could also have an ability to send people on an adventure and if they return they can bring back more rare and special resources. ✓ Some things I think aboutFirst of all, the game is great! But, there are some things that I think could make it a bit more interesting. I think you should add a fisher mellow to the game because in the map, there is usually a river, which might have fish in them, and I think you should also add other mellow villages, which could declare wars, peacetime, trades, and alliances based on what you do to them (like offer them gifts or burn one of their houses down) and Viking invasions that attack you once in a while. You should also add barracks to train soldiers to attack the other mellow villages if they declare war on you, and defend your village if a Viking invasion begins. Also, for the church, you should add the ability to choose what culture we want. ✓ Great game, great idea, poor executionI love this game, however I’m upset with it. I’m upset cause it drains my battery like crazy. I went from 100% to 50% in 10 minutes. It’s insane. I also don’t like how there’s not enough things to do in the game. Once you build to a population of 50+ it starts to get laggy and other bugs start kicking in like yesterday I had to uninstall and reinstall the game because my mellows weren’t harvesting anything cause them to die. Add more buildings. Allows more jobs for mellows. Update each job. Like the delivery man, make it to where he can deliver to places that need supplies. ✓ It’d be a great game with bug fixesI started off fine, but my mellows stop doing their jobs despite being capable of doing them. My herbalist was “busy” dying and it wouldn’t allow me to assign a new worker to the herbalist, which led to even more of them dying in the wait. My builder wasted 10 stone putting it into a build that already had all the stone it needed. Then after, it wouldn’t allow me to see the remaining resources needed to finish the build. Then when my builder had gotten all the resources it needed and the time finished for it, the building went back to the resource collection stage, so I didn’t even get to use it. At another point, my woodcutter got stuck walking in place and couldn’t work. It was snowing and freezing during summer. If these bugs could be addressed, I’d honestly love this game.Version: 0.53.1

✓ Love it, but…I think this is the cutest thing ever and it’s super fun to play, but the pay to play kills me, especially since the game has so many bugs. It takes forever to gain resources and they are almost always starving. I also don’t like the fact that I can’t choose to remove certain items, or more buildings once I place them. Having to rebuild buildings to move them is very tedious and costs resources that take forever to be collected. The Mellows would be super helpful if they also kinda had personalities (given that they are already assigned names) so that you can better assign them go jobs so that they won’t be sad. Having to pay 5$ just to put clothes on my mellows shouldn't be a thing if I get sheeps wool that takes up space in the storage. ✓ DLC to play properlyThe game is interesting but to pay properly and keep “Mellows” happy you need to buy the DLC. It is good as in ads aren’t shoved in my face but I’m not sure I like it that much to put money into it especially when characters don’t finish tasks properly. Example, a builder did one second of work then walk off for a minute to return and do the same, again and again. I’m getting that with the herbalist and craftsman too. ✓ Really enjoy the game. Some notesThere should be an easier way to un-assign and re-assign mellows as sometimes they will just not do the job they are assigned to unless you take them off and readd them, but you have to un-assign everyone in the job group sometimes to get the one you want off the job. Also, I am having an issue where it says many mellows are pregnant and never changes the status, so far says I have 32 pregnant mellows yet none have given birth. This has lead to nearly all the population being old while no young ones are being born to replace them. Also, storage is ridiculously small, even with the upgrades to the buildings. I only have 80 mellows yet needed to build 41 storage building, thats thats with over half being upgraded to hold 800 storage. Also, may be helpful to include an index or something to explain what each item is used for/helpful for such as the wine or what the difference is between making the small potion compared to the large one. Not just resource wise but what it does different. I assume the larger one can but used by more than one mellow, but that information is unclear..Version: 0.60

✓ Fun game, frozen status issueHey! So I really enjoy this game. I don’t have much of an issue with the price because it’s only $5 for all the features and clearly well thought-out by the devs (although I think if you spend money on a game you shouldn’t get ads, those shouldn’t be separate payments). My problem comes in to play during the actual game. Very frequently the farmers, the school, and the shops get stuck on status effects like harvesting for an entire year or the shop worker being on break until I demolish the building and rebuild it. It halts production, wastes resources and is very frustrating to play around. Overall I see the game as a good investment but I’d like to see that bug or issue or whatever it is resolved as it’s made me put down the game on more than one occasion..Version: 0.60

You HAVE to purchase the DLC to be able to remove the wool from your storage. You can demolish the storage space but it will remove all other items in there which is not suitable. ✓ Solid gameI like this game a lot it’s addicting but there are some bugs to it that cause issues. One of wich is when I place a herding pen down and go to delete it, it won’t delete and the game will have the highlighted fence on where it could be placed if you had selected it to put down from the menu and will not go away after restarting the app and the save game. The game will also have the characters sometimes just stand and get stuck on trees making it a challenge to get them to complete their tasks. The final issue I do have is that the game is pay walled if possible make more buildings free to the player just hopping in because after 45 min or so you get pay walled and there isn’t much to do in the game. But I do enjoy the game and I like the city building game just needs some more work so honestly for a free game it’s not bad just needs some updates to fix the bugs but if that happens I cannot see there being many issues aside from pay walls.Version: 0.57

✓ It has serious potential but is flawedI love this game, i feel like it has the capability to be a game that can get out to the public on mass numbers and can be played by some serious people. However, I believe it has some serious issues when it comes down to how the game runs and it needs some serious development on that front. It is very glitchy, after growing to a certain level it begins to lag my phone like it has never lagged before, to where some mellows will be waiting for their partners forever, livestock just starts disappearing and never growing up, and much of the other complaints i have seen on here. ✓ Good, but buggyFirst off I want to say something in regards to another reviewer who said pay to win. This game is in no way pay to win. You make decisions to get results. You can pay money to make your life easier which would in turn fund the developers to make more things. Everyone needs to make a living to. Other wise the game is perfectly playable with out this. The dlc being behind a pay wall is also perfectly acceptable. The games free after all and already has plenty. All this does is add some additional items to the game that was already free. Now to the bugs. Im experiencing some moment where I have the resources, but my mellow’s seem to think there is none. Something seems to be wrong with the storage information thats confusing the game. I have 5 storage units, yet when I look at the storage information, it doesn’t show all the resources I have. I’m also experiencing mellows who just stand there even though they have a job and don’t have any indicators as to why they are now performing said job. In this case a mellow who’s suppose to be gathering some sheep to raise is standing in one spot holding an ax and has the pregnant indicator above them, but does nothing. Im also pretty sure they have been standing there for several seasons and plans on being dead before to long..Version: 0.59
✓ Like the game. Needs some improvementI and my husband both have worlds in life of mellow. We both enjoy playing. There are a few things that we believe need some work. 1) Maybe the leather and wool could drop only after you buy the dlc? It is currently clogging up our storage and we don’t have enough storage space to keep up with the demands of our mellows. 2) We have noticed that when there is food available in storage and the mellows have houses, the mellows stop working. ✓ I Really like this game…I never really write reviews, so with that being said I’m going to try to keep this simple. I do love this game but every time I play it kind of lags. I don’t know if it’s an internet issue but I close it out and go back into it and I’m right back where I started playing the first time. I think a save game button would be legit, kind of like Minecraft where you can save your progress. I know it saves somewhat but I’m having issues where it’s only saving very little of my progress. I just played for an hour straight and it started lagging and the screen went black, I waited it out but nothing happened so I closed out the game hoping it would save and loaded back in but almost all my progress was lost, very sad about it. ✓ Pay to winI really love this game. I do not think that having to buy all of these extra packs and stuff is very fair though. I can understand the premium rewards being purchasable but the DLC shouldn’t have to be purchased. I think this game is very fun but needs to be improved a little such as adding more working options rather than the basics. If there were more roles the game would be a lot more entertaining and keep people interested for longer. Food is always in high demand and almost impossible to keep up with without watching ads. For the pregnancy maybe the time could be decreased a little? I am also having an issue where I have workers assigned to something but they won’t work. They just stand there go home, walk to task, go home, stand there. For my construction workers they tend to build for 5-10 seconds and then stop working on it for a very long time. ✓ It’s good, but..It needs work. It drains my battery, overheats my phone, and I feel like there’s so many things that you could incorporate. My friend and I are both dorks, and we agreed that cannibalism needs to be added to the game. Just a funny aspect. Anyways. Add more animals, fix whatever bug is causing my Mellows to get stuck behind nothing, the bug where when someone dies they remain in their job making it impossible for a new person to hop in unless you completely restart the game, it needs an arson aspect (making your Mellows go insane), and much more babies need to be born. Oh, and different colored bandanas for literally everything, even if it’s just a different shade. ✓ Fun… but needs some workI really enjoy this game but, as of right now, it’s pretty buggy. I have to go back to the main menu to get certain tasks to activate. I have to pull my Mellows off of a task and then reassign them to start their job. When a Mellow becomes ill they won’t immediately go get a potion and they end up dying. My population is struggling to increase because I’ll bring four new ones in but have the same amount die because they take to long to get medicine. There are also some features that would be great additions to the game like, being able to tell a mellow to go home or to get off of their break or force them to go take a potion. And I would love to see more buildings like bigger houses, a city hall (government), leisure places (pubs, stores with more clothes, etc.) As I said, it’s a very enjoyable game but it can test your patience with the bugs and it could use more variety in buildings..Version: 0.59

✓ Great game, still has potential to be betterI have around 20 hours on a single world in this game and I do enjoy it. A big problem I have with this game is that it makes my phone overheat and drains the battery life. I recommend playing this game with your phone on a charger. The game is super fun, i have bought the DLC content because I wanted some more things to do in the game. The game is really buggy in the fact where the mellows sometimes wont work, be on break forever, or wait on their partner forever. I have also recently gotten a bug where the children are “looking for something to do” which shouldn't be a thing because they are not adults yet. I do not know if these are bugs or not, I feel as though they aren’t bugs and this is just how the game works. If these bugs were worked out the game would be 100% a 5 star. ✓ Fun game , so many glitchesI absolutely looove the game but like other reviews the glitches make it so annoying. The mellows stop doing their jobs randomly especially the farmers. If the farmers don’t complete the crops by the end of the season it glitches in whatever the last cycle left off at . The work around I found is to close down the app and re open it and then it recycles the farms but that gets really tedious. Another thing I don’t like is the woman to men ratio, the woman consistently keep getting pregnant and it slows down production. I would hope in some way to eventually choose if I want woman to get pregnant or if not that atleast choose what sex I can place at certain jobs. Woman waste so much time getting pregnant and if their job was to be a farmer it pushes me back so much ..Version: 1.1.0
