✓ CrashingUpdate. Latest patch did absolutely nothing to optimize the game, now instead of crashing to the home-screen every 15-20 minutes, it crashes around every 10 minutes, so that’s an improvement. Albeit not a very good one! Not sure what happened after the last patch but the game crashes without fault every 15 to 20 minutes, and it’s incredibly laggy now. Just gets very frustrating, almost to the point it’s not worth spending time on it. ✓ DisappointingI’ve played this game for a while and have spent a bit of money on it because I genuinely enjoyed it, and it’s probably still my most played mobile game. However, in the course of just a couple months lately, I’ve watched them decrease rewards from just about every source in the game, while diluting the hero pool with new heroes before the existing ones are fully fixed/fleshed out. This game has so much potential to be one of the best idles with so much QOL, but the developers greed seems to be ruining it. May lower my review and add more comments if this trend continues. ✓ Asks for unnecessary infoI played the game early 2023 and left due to lack of content, yet when I return I can’t start over fresh. I haven’t played for months and frankly I didn’t miss it, but I wished to retry playing the game hoping there was new content. I went into the settings to try to delete the account like you can on any other game, but they require so much info and an image— of what? My cat? I wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone as they’re really just asking for money and personal info without providing enjoyable content (no I’m not a p2p in this game). ✓ New update is terribleI’ve been playing this game for months and while I enjoy it, the new update has really made me consider dropping the game. The new update has nerfed so much stuff. Resources are harder to obtain, the astrolabe doesn’t generate gears, the stuff used to upgrade divinities is split between units types which is lame. Also the rewards from the friendship chest rewards are worse, fable agora is meaningless because the rewards for the dispatch are a third of what they and I’m max level for dispatches. Just seems like the update is pushing players to spend more. I could play this for hours everyday consistently but now I find myself not picking this up as much as I used to. Plus the novastar gems being added is the worst part. I’d rather spend actual money on the bundles and deals y’all have than spend a lot of money on a negligible amount of those novastar gems. ✓ Review number 2Since devs got their feelings hurt by my previous review and had it taken down, I’ll resubmit it again! Devs are lying theives who promise a good f2p experience when there isn’t one to be had. From the moment you log in, they have their hands in your pocket with pop up adds in every third screen. They make you purchase premium currency in order to have access to ANY of the top tier feature in the game and without paying for it, you will never have access. EVEN THE EVENTS are literally designed to make you purchase this premium currency JUST TO PARTICIPATE. I’ve spent 3 months and about 30£ of my money on this game and if I could refund it all right now I would no hesitation, because at the end of it the gap between pay to win and free to play is so bad that again you will never have a chance of taking full advantage of the games weekly cycle and events cycle. This game is a poor knock off of afk arena. Content isn’t as good, devs have their hands in your pocket from day one, and after 9 months they still apparently can’t get the game to run without crashing. Shame on these guys. ✓ Pretty but stingyI play a lot of these “character collecting games” and so far this one has been by far the stingiest. In most games you can at least one chance to 10x summon per day. Not this one. Unless you’re willing to pay for it, you won’t be doing much character summons here, in fact even though I have paid considerable money already, I can’t get more than one 10x summon every 3 - 4 days, and that’s with doing every daily. ✓ Full whale modeUsed to be a good game, but now don’t expect to be able to do anything unless you purchase your way into the game. All of the content is fully dominated by whales. You HAVE TO purchase and fully develop new characters, as they have broken skills and the balance is nowhere to be found. Both, pvp and pve are now in a whale-only mode. Being unable to beat the whale team, that has power half of your team in normal and expected at this point. Perfect examples of broken content is the entirety of Ragnarok and Arena (Dragon Troves and Void Portal are whale-exclusive content. If you don’t cash out, you have no chance there). Devs simply close the bug report tickets about broken skills to appease the abuse of those by, again, whales. So prepare your credit card to purchase those broken URs and every new character or don’t bother. Also, it’s not an IDLE game anymore. A few months ago I would have rated this higher but it’s been completely abandoned since May 2023 with no new events at all just recycling and a few new characters. They devs are constantly adding new content (tho there is already a fairly large amount of it). When I log In each day, I’m given a really generous amount of rewards, Summons are not rare to get. I get a copy of a hero I need roughly everyday or at worst every other day. The game has nice quality of life aspects in various areas. I can see how it would get slower progression wise as you get further into the game without spending money. But it is definitely not a game that makes f2p players feel like they need to pay. If you end up paying, the bang for buck is actually incredible! But even if you don’t, you really won’t be disappointed. As a non pay to play player I was getting 1-2 draw 10 pulls without a new SSR so I started paying some but the drop rate went way down. ✓ Summons & ServerWhen using the “summoning” in the game, you will be lucky if you get a “hero” that is worth having. Many times in a row I have received crap in the forms of the common lowest rated “heroes”. The server that I am on is the absolute WORST of any server for any game I have played so far. It wouldn’t help if I went to another server, because I would have to start my game all over again. How bad is the server? I have been kicked out of the game in 2 minutes or less after I logged in to play. All the “updates” the developers of this game have performed, not one has fixed this BIG FLAW in the game play. Is there no one there intelligent enough to figure out what the problem is? These 2 MAJOR flaws in the game have almost made me quit the game, but since I have gone so far in the game WITHOUT spending REAL MONEY, I put up with the punishment & continue on progressing through the game to win over & over. ✓ Started well, now it’s a collect reward simulatorThe game has a strong foundation with the battle encounters that I assumed where the core of the game. I haven’t battled in over a month. They keep adding more and more things to tap, things to queue up, tap to collect X, tap to collect Y because you collected enough of X, to the point I found myself wondering what’s the point of collecting all of these resources if I’ll never use them in game, since I run out of time by the time I’m done going through 10-15 different screens of things to collect? Devs forgot what the game is about. It should be about encounters. Pantheon is a great example of what development should go towards. Tapping buttons isn’t. ✓ Same old Same oldGlad I got out when I did about nine months ago. I loved this game for about the first year and free to play? well it wasn’t that greedy. You could do well by playing for free and then it just turned into a total cash grab.. now I am a spender. Remember that, but I can’t stand overly greedy developers(They all are greedy!) ✓ Changes Ruined it for MeI used to really like this game and I do still enjoy the gameplay, but months ago they nerfed the Gears of Time AFK rewards. If you’ve ever played AFK Arena, the Gears rewards used to be similar to when you login to AFK Arena and could tap on the pile of gold and chests below the map showing what chapter/level you’re on. You used to get a ton of resources, but then they changed it for some reason so you get way less from it.
