✓ Kept Me On My ToesOver the course of playing this game, I can tell you first hand that there were many times I just wanted to give up. But Herold is what kept me going. I wanted to know what was at the end so badly that it didn’t matter how many hours I spent playing the game or how tired my fingers got from tapping. This is not a game suited for people who need to have an end goal in sight, but rather for players who enjoy a storyline no matter how long it takes to come through or someone who is in it for the experience and has no worries about the time spent playing. Overall, it’s a pretty wholesome game and definitely a time-consumer for those who need a distraction. So I had to try it for myself. The game opened with a black screen and a button in its center. The first push of that button brought me back in time. To when I took my first steps as a youngling. I was immediately addicted. The Taptic feedback filled me with adrenaline as I push that button as fast as my human fingers could. And that toolbox! Usually when opening the setting a loud chime/noise will be played even when ringer or volume is turned all the way down. For those wishing to turn that off, all you have to do is go into settings and press (play haptics) or (play sound). Then it will say that “…..” is turned to false, and you’re good to go. I have never been so invested in something as simple as a button. But it is so much more then just a button, as it became more of a purpose. All I wanted to do was progress Herold to see what would happen next. The only thing that I can point out that was wrong is that it would crash sometimes, but the game makes up for that simple flaw by being utterly addicting.
