Brilliant!I have been trying to run for some time now but I’ve always found it so so daunting. Using this app has taught me I have more strength in me than I thought. There is someone talking in your headphone e.g.”nearly there” and “you are half way” which really motivates you to know you are not just running with no clue how far. The pacer during longer runs is brilliant as it teaches you to slow down or speed up. Little did I know I was running too fast most the time, making me realise I can do 5k but I need to pace myself.WRMegVersion: 3.4.12

It’s not boring!I’m a casual runner who isn’t looking to qualify for a major marathon or win prize money in races. But I need help knowing what to do and don’t know enough to plan my own workouts. I wanted a running coach but couldn’t afford the prices people were charging. I tried a few other apps and printing out programs I found on the internet, but I wanted MORE. I found it with Runna. I’m coming back to running after an injury that required surgery, followed by depression and weight gain. And I’m falling in love with running again. This app is just what I needed, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. It even combines strength workouts, too, which I’ve found are really helping. Thank you, Runna!.GScrapsVersion: 4.2.12

Just not worth the asking priceFor £99pa. You could purchase a couple of incredible running books, some shorts, a new bottle and some energy packs. It’s a good app, it’s well designed and it functions well but it’s just not worth that. It’s not tailoring per se, or it didn’t feel tailoring when I reset plans and did different stats etc, and if you’re genuinely trying to lose weight or become a good runner invest the £16 a month/£99 a year on some good books. I can see why people would like this app, and for the week I used it it was interesting (though has no pacing coaching support for treadmills) But it’s appealing to the lowest common denominator. If you don’t follow the plan during times that you’re using it, you’re throwing away money really. On the plus side, and why I haven’t 1*’d, it’s a really nice app to use..ChapWOPVersion: 3.4.1

Be careful and listen to your bodyOverall, I like the concept and functionality of this app. But I want to warn everyone not to blindly follow a training program that is not fully tailored to them. Listen to your body. I started a half marathon training plan on Runna at the end of December to improve my half time, I thought I’d feel amazing and strong, but after a few weeks in, my legs were constantly sore (not the good sore). I was worried I may get injured, so I reached out for help and advice, but my trainer suggested all looks fine with my times, maybe cut back runs from 4 to 3. I did cut back, but it was not enough. I got to the point I was in physical pain everywhere on my legs, and I couldn’t even finish one of my runs. I decided to stop running altogether, a week of rest later, still feeling absolutely terrible. I have 2 weeks left till my half marathon and at this point I am not even sure I’ll be able to run. I am insanely disappointed. Based on the symptoms I have, I am worried I may be at least in non functional overreaching or maybe even overtraining territories. Which takes months and months to recover from. I wish I never started this training plan. Please, be careful and don’t listen blindly to an app. Listen to your body..Dora-89Version: 3.3.27
