Rock ID Crystal Identifier for Negative User Reviews

Mauvais résultat 9,5 X / 10Ne reconnais pas les pierres Donne 2X / 3 le même résultat malgré une pierre différente Vraiment pas efficace.Version: 1.19

How do you cancel subscriptionI can’t find anything in the app to let me cancel my subscription. The app does not properly identify the stones and I do not want to pay for the subscription after my free 3 day trial..Version: 1.13

Not even closeI used this app to identify several different stones. Misidentified all of them. Not even close. On the plus side, this app deleted with no problem..Version: 1.15

TerribleI took a photo knowing what the crystal was and it was wrong every time… couldn’t be that hard to recognise an amethyst. Yet still took my money regardless cancelling the subscription the same day I downloaded it and selecting the free trial..Version: 1.13

Bad adsI got the year premium for this app and I regret it. It will give you different names for the same stone base on the angle you take the picture of it, and also base on the light, if is sunny or cloudy, it won’t be consisting with the name of information. Don’t buy it don’t waste your money.Version: 1.13

Awful app. Doesn’t work at all. Scam. This app is ridiculous. Not even close to accurate . Just sends you a list of random gems when you scan. Has no educational purpose and is a complete rip off. Plus they charge you days ahead of time and won’t let you cancel your subscription. Worst app I’ve ever had to deal with. Downloading was a huge mistake..Version: 1.19

Awful!Gave me obviously wrong results, plus the zoom is incredibly broken. Zooming in just one “plus” and it’s SO close the image is fuzzy and unreadable. Just awful. Needs a lot of work. Thank god for a free trial.Version: 1.19

Worst AppTotal rip-off. Worst thing on my iPhone. I can’t believe Apple allows this in the AppStore. STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY. The free trial gets billed before it can be canceled..Version: 1.18

BEWARE: SKETCHY!Downloaded during a “free trial” and cancelled the subscription soon after once I realized the app could not properly identify stones. Today I receive a receipt from apple, they charged me $7.99 even though I had already cancelled during the free trial!!!.Version: 1.18

Total Rip offTook pictures of the same rock 5 different times with 5 different results! How can you except someone to pay for something that’s ridiculously inaccurate?.Version: 1.13

Stones identifyThis is the worst app for stone identification. Shows the same 5 for each stone that aren’t in the photo. I want a refund!!!.Version: 1.16

Does not workI have hundreds of stones. I know what they are. Tried this app and apparently I only have Moon Stones. I don’t own a single Moon Stone. Do not pay $30 a year for this..Version: 1.13

Don’t waste your time! This app does not work! It didn’t get one rock right! Not even worth it!.Version: 1.18

A fraud of an app!Absolutely no stone properly identified. And, the same stone identified for three times differently, all wrong..Version: 1.13

Doesn’t workInability to identify even most common of crystals..Version: 1.19

Inaccurate, didn’t provide info I was looking forActually dumbfounded by some of the results, how can black onyx be mistaken for carnelian? Amethyst results included coral and some bright green stone. Each attempt to edit a name of a stone or crystal resulted in the app closing. I canceled free trial 10 minutes after subscribing. According to the other reviews, apparently I need to check to see if I was charged anyway. Btw… I have only left less than a handful of app reviews so that should say something right there..Version: 1.19

I cant even identify for freeI found this weird Fossil/rock but I had to Pay to identify it😡😡😡.Version: 1.12

Sadly a disappointment 😔As a reiki healer, massage therapist and Wiccan, I do a LOT of work with stones and crystals. I’d hoped this app would help for when I’m unsure of a stones type. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max, so the camera is excellent. Of the 1st 10 common stones I tested, it got 2 right on the 1st or 2nd try. The rest took several tries, and it was stumped by garnet. Maybe it’s due to the very small data base; about 100 stones. I think it also falls short describing healing properties and uses. It may says what seems to be a lot about the stones, but it leaves out SOOO much, and doesn’t give important information, such as energy absorption, dispersal and blocking properties, cleaning, cleansing & handling info, list various cuts/types & their uses (clusters, pyramids, pendulums, wands, etc.), what other stones they pair with and counter-productive uses or parings and leaves out a lot of other important info. It’s hot and miss in giving care, handling and different uses, and I’d like to see much more standardized information given for all their entries. Overall, I like the app, but it needs much improvement and far more data to be worth the cost. I will watch it to see if it becomes more accurate and adds more data..Version: 1.15

Didn’t correctly identify a single rock or stoneI have a collection of stones, rocks and gems that I tried this one. It didn’t identify any of them correctly unfortunately. For instance a purple Amethyst was identified as (white) Moonstone and then (green) Amazonite. Refund requested..Version: 1.19

Don’t waste your time or moneyI was so excited to try this app. But I just tested accuracy with ten different basic crystals…not one single correct identification. All of them were very wrong..Version: 1.19

I wish I could give 0 stars. It’s statistically impossible to be this inaccurate. Don’t buy!!! Cancel my free membership before I get charged!!!.Version: 1.13

Don’t waste your time or moneyThis app is completely inaccurate.Version: 1.19

Do NOT get this appIt mistook Jade for Hematite… how is that even possible? That’s all I needed to see about the free trial before I uninstalled it 10 minutes later… only to learn I was charged for it anyways! This is not at all an effective resource for identification and their “free trial” is bogus. So frustrating!.Version: 1.13

In your dreamsShould’ve known this was not it. Only identified one stone right out of numerous tested. It’s not even fun when it’s wrong so many times..Version: 1.13

Inaccurate & inconsistencyUnfortunately, I would not recommend this app, it’s very inaccurate..Version: 1.19

Not goodIt didn’t get any of my stones correct and I tried over a dozen..Version: 1.3

FaultyEvery time I take a picture of the gem, it gives me a different definition and description of of it. The app definitely has a tremendous amount of flaws and you should not take anything that it says for truth..Version: 1.19

Not AcurateReally not good at identifying stones. The pictures it gives you to show examples are also not carried enough to positively identify..Version: 1.19

Doesn’t Identify RocksThis app said the Dalmatian Jasper I found was a diamond….Version: 1.19

Doesn't workI tried this app on over a dozen of gems I already have identified and it couldn't get even one right. Don't waste your money..Version: 1.13

Sadly it’s not a great appI have been collecting rocks and crystals for 60 years now and I bought a monthly subscription to try this to see how accurate it is. Unfortunately, it got 100% of 10 common crystals WRONG!! I had to correct the outcome of every single crystal I tried on the app! I tried opal, selenite, labradorite, turquoise, obsidian, rose quartz, clear quartz, lava rock, pyrite and aquamarine. Some of the identifications were actually laughable, however, if a beginning collector was depending upon this app for identification, they would be given incorrect information that could potentially cause damage. Not good!! Please work on developing a more accurate app because this is not good enough to buy!.Version: 1.19

I want my money backConsidering I know nearly every stone I own I was curious guess I should’ve read reviews cause of the 10 stones I took photos of this app did not recognize not 1 of them don’t waste your money like I did..Version: 1.16

Absolute Rubbish- There are only a few stones in their database. - Most readings end up wrong with the same few stones coming up over and over again. -My trial was supposed to last 3 days but I was charged after just 1.5 days. -There is no way to cancel this subscription in the settings or subscription menus. -Developer has not responded to (multiple) requests for either help or refund. Total waste of money. If I could give it zero stars I would..Version: 1.16

Free App??Wanted a free app to help identify rocks. App is free but to access identification you have to pay!.Version: 1.12

Eeeeee no money 🤌🤌You have to pay for premium before you even get to see the results of what crystal it is 😐 Waste of time and effort 😀🤌.Version: 1.8

HorribleThis app could not identify a common clear quartz. It thought it was, citrine, red, jasper, or jade..Version: 1.19

Don’t get thisIf u want to take pics of rocks and find out what they are then this ain’t the app for that. it makes you get a subscription to find out what the rock is.Version: 1.19

Not freeTrial forces you into a three day free with an automatic renewal of an annual fee there’s nothing free they bait you in and switch it to a paid version they don’t even let you try it for free without selecting thatYou will pay Annually in three days time.Version: 1.13

Terrible.I bought the 5 checks for $2 to test it out. It didn’t get any of them right. Also, it showed the same three rocks (5 suggestions were given for each rock) for all of my rocks been though I picked very different rocks..Version: 1.12

Doesn’t workIt never got my stone right. Even changed the lighting, background etc. it’s crazy they want you to pay to use this app.Version: 1.16

AwfulNearly every crystal identification was wrong! Luckily I know my crystals and just wanted to see if the app worked as seemed interesting. Terrible and it will misinform a lot of people relying on it to identify crystals.Version: 1.13

No features on free versionI wanted to identify one rock I had, but right after you take the picture it prompts you to pay for the subscription. So there are no features on the free version..Version: 1.18

100% fail rateThe same stone got different results. Common stones weren’t identified correctly. Not one correct identification..Version: 1.12

Pla-doh!My young daughter’s playdoh lump is actually malachite according to this app! It’s amazing! Super cool! So not worth a penny!.Version: 1.15

What a rip off.Paid for one month to try the “free” trial. The info was so bogus. Did not ever come close to just one picture that resembled it. When I go to cancel the subscription that I paid (never seeing anything else about a 3 day free trial) and the layout for the screen wouldn’t let me push the area that was supposedly going to take me to the page to get a refund. Keep the $7 you must need it more than I do..Version: 1.18

Not goodBecause the rock every time it was different.Version: 1.12

Needs a lot of improvements to be worth my moneyThis developer needs to build a larger database. Of seven stones I wanted to identify, I had more success searching the internet with visual queues, than I did taking a picture with this app…and yes, the photos were taken clearly and with enough light. I found three of the seven with a by-name search on the app AFTER looking them up on the internet, because none of the photos I took were successfully identified - when I did get a result, the images provided didn’t even resemble the stones I was looking for. Maybe when this app is worth the money, I will download it again and pay the subscription. Otherwise, I’m not paying $7.99 a month OR $30 a year for something that does basically nothing..Version: 1.15
