I contacted the developer who responded quickly but it seems it’s an issue that may not be able to be resolved. ✓ Doesn't workUnfortunately, it's not working. I was super excited when a saw a native WhatsApp app for Apple Watch. My excitement was short lived. First setup worked and I sent one message. But it stopped working 10 minutes later, being stuck on the loading screen. I've tried pairing it again three times but without luck. ✓ Connection IssuesThe app looks nice on the watch, but unfortunately very rarely does it work. Most of time it displays “connecting” and gets no further. Very occasionally it does connect and then the messages do update. When I then try to reply to a message using this app on the watch, it allows me to dictate the message and press send, but the message then simply disappears. Also unlike WhatsApp for Desktop you have to relink your device (if you can) every time your phone and your Apple Watch are out of range from one another.
