✓ Very different from this developerI own 10 Session Band apps. This is quite a departure from them. Noticeably lacking is an instrument mixer and that’s the main reason for the rating. I also don’t understand the “ In The Style Of” qualifier. Is the developer concerned about copyright infringement? I also have iReal Pro and it doesn’t qualify any tune. Also wondering why there isn’t a midi out function. I suggest future versions address my concerns. I’d gladly pay a nominal fee for a mixer and midi out..BDC1989Version: 1.0

✓ Endings? Not so muchOkay. The app is good. Definitely worth the price. Ia couple of things. First, repeats of a section are carbon copies. The fills and things are cool and sound good, but you’re going to hear the same parts if you have multiple choruses. But the big issue for me is endings. I was so excited when it said endings, but so far in my exploring I have found 0 actual endings. No new chord progression, no synchronized rhythms or hits, no piano riffs. Every song’s ending is just a hung chord. It sounds very awkward on some of them. Too bad. Still, it’s worth picking up. Feel is good. The organization is good. Took me a while to find the different combos but they switch seemlessly. As far as I can tell, they are not different arrangements, just subtractive arranging. ✓ Missing some important featuresThe app is a nice alternative to IRealPro, and certainly provides superior playback quality because of the samples. But, it’s missing several important iRealPro features so I don’t consider it a full replacement. Examples: The tunes are not editable at the bar level. This is really irritating because the tunes use RealBook changes, many of which are Just Wrong. Bar 8 of I’ll Remember April, for example — the app has it set at Gmaj7; most players treat that bar as a G7 or split Dm7-G7, which provides a dominant kick to shift to the Cm at the bridge. You can’t create new tunes within the app — you are limited to the tunes that ship with it. No mixer for the playback - you can chose from preset mixes but you can’t adjust individual instrument volumes..GbwguyVersion: 1.0
