✓ New update is a no-goI loved this game and have played it each night to wind down. It was fun, whimsical, mellow enough, liked the cute costume and theme options. A happy place. Didn’t mind the ads. The new update includes a timer, which really renders this a no-go for me. The psychological pressure this adds completely changes the vibe of this game - we don’t need more of that in the world imo, it’s fast paced enough, we need space to breathe. And in my case, it really unfortunately did a 180 on meeting my needs and I know I’ll be playing it way less, and sorry and sad to acknowledge that. Another feature that I didn’t like from the new update is taking away the button to restart the level. I don’t mind a new add coming up when doing so, but not having the ability to restart isn’t cool. I also don’t love the new “no more possible moves” prompt but, wouldn’t have been a dealbreaker. ✓ Paid but still get adsThis game is fun and the cats are cute but don’t waste your money buying the “no ad” version. There are a lot of ads which is annoying so I paid 9.99 for “no ads just fun” as a one time charge but after a couple of weeks I now get ads..Version: 1.2.3

✓ Suddenly not playableThe cats stopped going away when you complete a row! At first I thought it was some new, really hard challenge level and I managed to clear the screen by completing every branch with all the cats there, but now the game is impossible to play in both the full ads version and the pay for fewer ads version. ✓ I used to love this game 😞This was my favorite puzzle game to mindlessly pass time, until they started adding a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Now the outfits have rarities, there’s now a timed “mode” (although it’s literally the ONLY option…) and, worst of all, the cats don’t clear out when you match 4 of them, they only clear out when you finish the whole puzzle. I don’t think anyone asked for these changes. It’s really not worth playing anymore (for me, anyway.) And the ads are ridiculous..Version: 1.3.1

Since the addition of a timer and the removal of the "retry" button, I have chosen not to play the game any longer. I will be deleting the game after this review. If I'd wanted a timed game, I would have downloaded a timed game. I often played this game during my downtime, but am often called away for things that need my attention. I often play this while watching videos or listening to podcasts, so if I want to pay attention for a specific bit now I lose the level because my time runs out. Seriously don’t appreciate it. ✓ The game used to be good!What a terrible idea it was to add a timer! This game was one of the few that was both adorable AND relaxing to play. It used to be so fun and easy to play and was one of the most enjoyable games! Now you have this dumb timer that makes each level frustrating. And you rate the game 4+ for age level… what 4-year old can beat one of the more challenging levels in a under minute and a half?! You used to be able to start a level over if you got stuck, now, if you get stuck, you have to wait for the dumb timer to count all the way to the end, then watch a video to start over! It used to be just a video to start over, now, on some levels, I spend more time waiting for the timer to run out than actually getting to play! And you call it “timer mode” but there’s no other mode! It’s not like you can choose to turn off the timer, so really, there’s only one mode—timer mode! I hope you get rid of this stupid new timer feature and just let people go back to playing the fun and cute game that it used to be. If you put the game back the way it was—SANS TIMER—I’ll rate you five stars. Until then, it’s a one for me. Just matching kitties and hearing happy mews. Then the timer was added. Okay, weird, but not too much an issue. Then the ‘added branch’ feature is now 1/4 of a branch. What?! Now when I match my kitties, they don’t vanish. At first I thought something was wrong with the game. Idk why the developers did what they did, but all the updates are terrible. ✓ Don’t pay $9.99 it’s not ad freeI’d give 5 stars if it was just based on the game alone… I considered the first review I saw before spending $10 on a phone app game which is a lot - basically said it’s crazy how many ads & how expensive it is to get rid of them. My 4yr old loved the game and I found it fun also so I thought a 1 time payment of $9.99 wasn’t completely horrible if we were going to use it often & she would get upset every time it showed an ad after every single turn. So at first it was awesome but then we realized that once the lives were gone we had to either wait a long time until they built back up or watch another ad , a very long ad 🤬 and you don’t really earn power ups u have to pay real money on top of the $10 we already paid if we need any help not using up our 5 lives in 3 mins because once u have no more moves u can’t start over without losing a life. ✓ This was my favorite game until…..I downloaded this game and enjoyed it a lot. It was so much fun and so relaxing. That was until they put a time limit on every game. Instead of an ad, now you have to pay for an extra branch (each branch now takes at least 3 of the amount you pay for, pay to freeze the time clock which doesn’t last the whole game. ) I’ve deleted the game now and won’t play it again. ✓ I’m frustrated. Seems like there are too many people who agree.I’m not a big fan of the newer updates. I could tolerate the timer. It proved to challenge how fast I could think. My only problem with the timer is that it’s considered a mode. If it’s a mode, then I should be able to turn it off in the settings without having to watch an ad to freeze it for what… 10 seconds? What’s making me really frustrated is that A. The cats won’t clear off the board, making the game impossible to play and B. My extra shelf only fits one cat. It used to fit four. I would understand if it was a new mode, or new challenge level, but then again — I should be able to opt out of it if it proves too challenging. I tried to play level 324 at least 20 times with this new update, and it proved to be impossible. So, if you want to keep your players, I recommend switching it back to the original, and if you still want these new features, add them as features that players can easily opt out of. ✓ Seriously Considering Deleting This AppThis used to be one of my favorite chill out apps in the evening to wind down and relax. I usually played this while watching videos or just chatting with friends. The new timer feature has made this game almost completely unplayable for me. Now if I get distracted or let my mind wander for a moment, I lose the level. Also, being under a constant timer is stressful, NOT relaxing, so the game no longer serves its purpose for me. There also seem to be way more ads now? I was trying to navigate through the new menus and got a text from a friend. I clicked away from the app and returned about 30 seconds later, only to have to watch an ad just to keep looking at the menu?? That is completely ridiculous. I understand that some players may want more of a challenge, but that should not be applied across the board. I recommend to the developers to institute different modes—a zen mode for those of us who want a more leisurely, relaxed experience and a challenge mode for those who want to race the timer. Also, reconsider your ad setup. We should not have to sit through long ads just because we navigate away from the app while on the main menu. I have used this app for months to relax and absolutely love the art style and the cute little costumes for the kitties, so I am reluctant to delete it. However, I am unfortunately seriously considering if it is worth taking up any memory space on my phone in its current state..Version: 1.3.2

✓ No longer fun since updatesThis game used to be so great… fish coins bought costumes and such, and you could watch ads for extra shelves, no time limit either. Now you have to spend real money to earn fish tickets for costumes and shelves and backgrounds, and there’s a timer that isn’t long enough for some levels. It used to be when you paired all 4 cats, they’d clear off. Now they remain on the shelves, making you run out of moves sooner, forcing you to restart countless times OR spend real money on fish tickets to get 1/4 of an extra shelf 🤦♀️ This game has been ruined by all the updates and is no longer fun and relaxing but instead stressful and frustrating.
