✓ DANGEROUS! This app crashed and eventually bricked my iPhone 3GI would have given this app four stars -- fun, simple, silly, price is right, good for giving to the kid to play for a few minutes. The minor downside are the ads at the bottom, which I warned my kids never to touch. But the app itself *frequently* froze or crashed my phone, necessitating a (slow) reboot. And this morning, the phone would not come back up or connect to iTunes, except to let me make an emergency call. Repeated reboots are ineffective -- I may very well have a brick on my hands. Off to go waste a few hours at the Apple Store. And then to delete this app..Version: 0

✓ Not what I installedThis app USED to be a great little gimmick of just popping bubble wrap, now they've completely changed the app so that it's some crappy candy crush rip off. 1) candy crush as a genre is played out, and already over saturated. 2) this is NOT acceptable behavior from a developer, completely changing the app from what it originally was. ✓ Don't botherUnrealistic and pathetic sound, pointless gameplay, confusing 'popped' looking - but not actually popped bubbles???? No levels or end to the popping - apart from when the game times out. And I wish it timed out after 20 secs - and then uninstalled itself! My advice: Find yourself some real bubble wrap to pop instead.... This simulator comes no where near the fun that can be had with realistic sounding 'real' bubblewarp, and you would then get the satisfaction of 'popped' bubbles actually being popped like they should be until you have no more left. If the developer wants to know how to may this a decent playable game then first of all sample actual bubblewrap popping sounds and add in funnier effects occasionally (like a burp or belch). Then instead of your respawning idea, how about if some bubbles made other surrounding bubbles get bigger (like what often happens if bubble wrap is not sealed properly) in which case you would have to use multi-touch to pop all the offending bubbles at once making for a more satisfying burst sound. Some bubbles could have things in them that should not be pooped, like bad smells, and others could have bonus items that have to be popped quickly, like a suffocating fly or spider to free them from their imprisonment.... Actually if you had thought it through this could of been a game that was actially worth paying for, sigh. Perhaps in version 2.0!!!!.Version: 0

✓ It works well for me, but...I love playing this game, but since I'm constantly trying to hit bubbles throughout the game, I often hit the advertisement link on the high score screen, which take me to the app store. It gets annoying because then some of my best scores aren't saved!!! What I can do is slow down twoards the end, but I don't think many people find that very fun. I don't mind adverstising for the Bubble Pro, but can we put the link somewhere else? Maybe after we've saved our scores? Otherwise it's a great app that works fine for me..Version: 0

✓ Better than average...(this is two people talking) Irene (the kid): ...but not that much better. It's a fun game at first but then it will get boring. It's great for competitions but it's not fun when you're playing by yourself. Sometimes it will crash but there is an advantageous. Just keep tapping the screen as if you're still popping the bubbles. After five seconds, it will unfreeze and the time will still be the same but the number of bubbles you popped when it crashed will count! This doesn't always work and in those cases, you'll have to reset your iPhone. My high score is 221. Dan (the adult): A kid has an unfair advantageous over an adult because they have smaller fingers and can pop the bubbles faster. I wish they had this control panel where you can control the size of the bubble, therefore equalizing the competiveness between child and adult. It's a great game for free. ✓ Inflated scoresI can live with the ads in the new version (although once the ad triggered mid-game, which really should not be happening). But changing the basics of the game (here, I believe, the rate of bubble-reinflation) and thus obsoleting previous high scores for no hood reason is simply wrong. Without the new version (2.0), I would have given 5 stars to this strangely addictive game. But it's strange addiction has been somewhat broken by things having been made easier..Version: 0
✓ Review Of Bubble WrapThis a brilliant funny little app which consists of you trying to pop as many bubbles in a given amount of time. Now i shall be honest i would never by such an app but it is free so i checked it out. Once getting the app, it was not difficult to grasp what to do even without reading a review or looking at instructions. It is quite challenging to get a really good score, i only managed to get just over 100, but with some practice i'm sure i will get alot better and so will you. This app is a great fun thing to have at a pub to challenge mates with or when your bored and finding something to do that will keep you interested. ✓ Don't Get ThisOkay, the idea is appealing-a trip to crazyville to pop bubbles (im serious). However, this app nearly made me have heart failure. It crashed on my iPod, and crashing has never occurred on my iPod before (I have tap tap revenge, penguin catapult and etc to the people who think this was my first app). Also, like some people before me, I played music and it just made this buzzing sound, quite loud too, and it happened even after I stopped the music. I had to reset it, and not sure if it is completely ok. Don't download this unless you have itouches or iPhones to spare. There are countless other fascinating games out there. ✓ Average.Not a particularly inspired app--this one came out pretty much at the launch of the App Store in 2008 and it shows. The original version wasn't very sophisticated and while this one (v1.8.1) is better, it isn't so by much. True, it isn't supposed to be much, but let's face it--tapping on a touch screen just isn't quite as satisfying as squeezing real bubble wrap between your fingers. The timer and stat tracking helps it a little and moves this app from a novelty launch item into the category of casual time-wasting game. Overall, since it's free, there's no reason not to check it out for yourself and see if this will help curb your appetite for popping bubble wrap when there's none around to be had, or if it will help your wait in line to get your car's license plate renewed. ✓ Enjoyed the older version more...Version 1.3 is chalk full of problems. After the game ended it launched me to some video file, which I found annoying, because I didn't get to enter my score. The next time I played, when time ran out it launched me to some website. The last time I played the game froze at the end and when I tried to reset my phone, the screen went black and it started making this crazy noise. ✓ WARNING: Possible Fraudulent/Misleading AppThe dog mascot is fitting because this app is now a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program). “BubbleFREE” (the app most of us originally downloaded) was sold to another developer. In its place we got this “Cookie Jam” clone (a TOTALLY DIFFERENT game that I did NOT WANT OR CHOOSE) as an “update.” Cute & colourful graphics, yes, but with excessive, intrusive ads. Ugh. Too many red flags are raised: 1.) The sleazy new-app-disguised-as-an-update ploy. That suggests the dev knew it couldn’t make it as a legitimate new app. 2.) Developer keeps renaming the app. (Are they trying to generate more search/traffic or evade Apple in detecting their shady moves?) 3.) Bogus “sponsored” reviews. (Some have already been reported and removed but watch out for more fake reviews,) 4.) Developer’s website (as of this writing) is nothing but a nearly-blank landing page. What do they have to hide? ✓ Fun app, but...I got this app last week and it was pretty fun; Nothing beats bubble wrap. But yesterday I opened it up and my iTouch froze. The screen went black and it started making the bubble popping noise over and over again. I plugged it into the computer, which seemed to help, but then my iTouch froze once I got past the 'enter passcode' screen. I had to restore the whole thing to make it work again. It's a good thing I have everything backed up! Anyways, I suggest that NOBODY BUY THIS APP until this serious bug is fixed. ✓ This May Be MalwareI never purchased this app, but it I discovered it on in the list of apps wanting updates on my phone. I tried deleting it, but I couldn't find it anywhere on my phone or in my app library. Then I letting the app update and deleting it afterward, but it immediately reappeared in my list of apps to update. Apparently it used to a bubble wrap popping app I purchased a long time ago. It has been changed into a completely different app—a sketchy, malware tactic which should get the app and the developers banned from the app store. Thanks to these reviews, I finally managed to root out and delete the original bubble-popping (called "Bubble Free") from my iPhone.
