✓ Fantastic app.Works a treat! Liking the 'Discover' feature (a lot) as I have plentiful stock of varied booze so can now put a name to many a varied concoction. Had an issue with a ZAGGFolio wireless keyboard which was NOT related to the app. Author contacted me (LITERALLY) immediately and we were able to discover it was the wireless keyboard. Great app, cannot beat the price. Would be nice if you could sort the Favorites which the author stated he is working on improvements. ✓ What ever You Do PLEASE Not Drop SupportSeriously. This app is that good. I now have most likely a little over a thousand drinks installed under Kevin’s app and would be devastated if support was dropped for it. Being a home bartender I’ve also found useful at out local bar for introducing custom drinks. The things that really make this app shine is the ability to know which drinks you can make based on ingredients on hand and the fact you can add custom ingredients in order to add new drinks all the time. I have the app installed on both iPad and iPhone. Of all my apps, this is the one I treasure most as I have tons of hours (and fun) pouring over drinks on the web and adding them and the ingredients to this app. Oh, the new backup feature is a God send too! Perhaps the only thing I can think of is a print feature. And I think the only time I could see this really coming into play is if, and only if, support was dropped at least all the work put into adding custom drinks wouldn’t be lost. Anyways, super app and HIGHLY recommended..Version: 7.5.2
✓ Excellent App with superb supportThis is a great app. The support is outstanding. You will be able to easily add custom drinks. You are also able to search for drinks based on what you have available. That is a really handy feature. There is a huge list of very tasty drinks which can easily be searched based on various criteria. In my opinion, this is the only bartender app you'll need. ✓ No sync functionalityI had this installed on my iPhone and iPad and there is no way to sync between devices. I lost over 50 added recipes and favorites. Most other apps allow for a simple sync between devices but this app asks you to either backup or restore and both options resulted in the loss of data. Very unsatisfied customer! I amended my review to 5 Stars as the developer responded to my review and reset my login. After reinstalling the app with new credentials I was able to successfully recover all of my favorites and added content. Many thanks for the timely response to my issue..Version: 7.5.2
✓ Really good!I really like this app because it's the one one in the entire app store that serves my needs. I wanted an app that allowed me to inventory my liquor collection at home, as well as log drink recipes...this does both! Only 2 reasons for 4 stars instead of a perfect 5: - REALLY wish there was freedom to edit within the app. I enter in recipes for later use, then take photos later when making the drink...but the app won't let you add or edit the photo, or tweak the recipe. - The over all form of the app isn't pretty. I do like that it's basic...the simplicity is good. But with the help of a designer, this app could be more visually appealing. And it could flow better. ✓ Nice but incomplete...I wish there were a way to add ingredients. Noticed that when creating recipes some ingredients are not available; Galliano is just one of them. Plus it would be nice to distinguish between ingredients such as white & brown creme de cocao. So the work around I came up with is to add just 1 ingredient ( because the app requires it) and put the rest of the ingredients in the instructions section. Nice app but missing ingredients without a way to add them makes this incomplete..Version: 5.0
✓ Parts is PartsOk, no Oz. So; think a bit, a part is what ever you want it to be... An ounce, a Gallon, a Milliliter. Easy! I don't know one bartender that thinks in other than parts. The only feature that I thought it was missing was a "shopping list" to tell me what I'm missing to make the saved drinks list. I e-mailed the app owner and he said it's coming in the next update. ✓ Good, functional App, but...I'm a bartender at a popular club here in my city, so I use this app often for those random drinks that I don't get asked to make too often. Pretty solid list of drinks and the ingredients are pretty accurate! The only feature that this app does not have (that would make it the absolute best bartending app I have seen) is the ability to add you own drinks and recipes to the list. If this feature was added, it would be the only bartending app I used (I'm talking you YOU, app developers!).Version: 4.6

✓ The only app you need to make great cocktails at homeI've tried many different cocktail apps over the years, and this one has the right mix of features and design details to make it the best. My favorite is the discover feature, which only shows me recipes for the ingredients I have on hand. For an avid home bartender, this is a must have as your stock and tastes change. You can even search by a specific ingredient if you're feeling particular that evening. Or say you want to make a certain drink but don't have all the ingredients, no worries because the shopping list feature is there to tell you what you're missing. The recipes are also the best I've seen, utilizing both official IBA recipes for the classics and Wikipedia for everything in between. They're easy to follow and well organized, clearly showing amounts, ingredients, and directions. If it's missing your favorite drink, add it using the custom my drinks/ingredients feature. It's also easy to tag and rate your favorite recipes for quicker recall. The developer is also committed to making this the best app possible, with frequent updates that have improved the design and functionality since its original launch. Did I mention it's also a universal app that works equally well on the iPad? I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for this fantastic app. Keep up the great work!.Version: 5.6

This app is really helping me accomplish that goal by allowing me to record the recipes and take photos of the finished product. ✓ Super helpful App that is a breeze to use.So, I set up a bar in my home lounge... bought some random spirits from the local liquor store and thought I was good. I was wrong... I needed a sense of direction, a guide. iBartender is that guide! I have been using it for months now and I bring it with me for every trip to the liquor store. If I see something intriguing on the shelf, I fire up this App and find out what I can make. This App introduced me to Hpnotiq liquor and I will be forever grateful. Now, when I have guests over I can fire up my iPad and make them a decent mixed drink. There are so many recipies and it is an absolute blast to try each of them to see how good they are. Discovery feature great for listing drink options based on what you have in your bar and fridge. A few suggestions for future updates: 1 - allow to edit and add photos to recipes after they are created. 2 - allow to add photos to the existing recipes. 3 - allow a "flip-through" option to browse recipes, without having to pick individual titles. Now I have a new iPhone, and see no option but recreate from scratch all the stuff I entered into the app on my old phone. See below for additional features requested. Update Dec 2013: I use this app probably more often than I should. Frustrated that what I have entered via iPhone I have to start over on iPad. ✓ Great app - several suggestionsI love this App, especially the ability to add your own cocktails and ingredients, but I would like to see a few features added. First, I would like to be able to add notes to existing cocktails that come with the App, and to be able to amend and save as a new drink a variation on an existing cocktail (instead of creating a new cocktail from scratch). Second, add standard garnishes as a category e.g. Lemon/orange/lime peel/twist, cherry, lemon/orange/lime/pineapple slice, celery, pickled green bean, etc. Third, if I add a drink via my iPad, it would be great if upon synching with iTunes that the same drink would appear on my iPhone. Fourth, I'd like to be able to print a recipe, other than by emailing it to myself and printing the email. Fifth, I've added a lot of new recipes and and custom ingredients and I'd hate to lose the data. It would be great to be able to back it up somehow. ✓ Missing two features to put at 5 starsLove the fact it gives you drinks you can make with what is on hand and can add custom ingredients and drinks. The only thing missing is: A list of ingredients that'll complete uncompleted recipes missing 1 ingredient. The feature with favorite drinks adding to the shopping list is near that point, but i'd like it for drinks I haven't favorited yet. The only other thing is that the random drink function would be great with the Drinks You Can Make list. It only works for the Browse All list. If it is supposed to work with Drinks You Can Make then maybe there's a bug because it does not work for me. Anyway, add those two features and its a 5 star app. Its very favorable compared to Liquor Cabinet, which is clunky for adding/altering recipes and adding ingredients, and has no random drink function, too. Maybe the look of the app can be a bit better too. But thats a nit picking..Version: 7.0
✓ UsefulVery comprehensive recipe guide. Most any drink that you can think of is there, and for the ones that aren't, they can be added. I rated this as five stars, but I can think of two things that can be improved upon. First, if you need to change one of the default recipes, you're out of luck. You have to create a duplicate. The Aviation is a fine example of this as it's missing the Creme Yvette. Second, if you are in the middle of adding a recipe but the ingredient isn't in the list, you have to exit the recipe to add the custom ingredient. Not a big deal, but it's a little aggravating at times. Other than that, this is an excellent app that I highly recommend..Version: 6.1.2

I like adding my own favorite drink recipes so that when I have a craving for something with, say, Campari I can quickly find all the recipes. ✓ PotentialOk its got a lot of drinks can always do with more still. But like me when having a party or creating a drink for someone you don't want to look through all of them to get to your drink even when you search still very unlikely to find what you want straight away. So I would recommend you creating a new search page where you have every alcoholic drink you have on the app then you click on the ones you want to use I would also recommend putting some soft drinks on to like fruit juices etc. But I would keep the search bar but just have it at the bottom of page. Also if there was a way to upload your own drinks then the staff check that it's not just not someone messing about. Also if it had a rating system and review system would also be great last thing would be that every drink had a setting like for example house party. So like I said it's just like recipe book not using technology to the full advantage. Please update :).Version: 3.7

✓ Wonderful start - looking forward to new featuresThis was very helpful during a recent home party. I used the discover feature exclusively. It would be nice to have the browse by type of drink option that is based in what you currently have on hand. In fact, I would change discover to 'inventory', and then on your browse drink feature have a checkbox or slider that filters drink results to what is in your inventory. The shopping list is a good idea too, where what you don't have is added to a list, then when you check it off at the store it is added to your inventory. I also feel that the mixers section of inventory is most likely to need updating every time I need to use the app, please make this section more flexible - consider pulling fresh ingredients into another section, compared to bitters which you buy once a year.. ✓ Useful app for the casual mixer!The part I love most about this app is that you have the ability to look up drinks you can make based only* on the liquors/mixers you already have. This app is really handy for someone who is just starting out mixing drinks, doesn't know what to make with the drinks they have on hand, or just needs some new ideas. ✓ Great With A Few SuggestionsAnd with the recent update, even better! I use this program exclusively for our home bar. Have almost 800 drinks that I can now make at home, many of them drinks I entered myself. My only fear is that with all the work I have put into entering all that information that it will be all lost if someday the iPad suddenly glitches. Would be handy to have a way to print. You could print drinks as a menu item (no drink recipe printed, only the name and ingredients), or full print with drink and recipe also for backup reference. Also have it as a "select all" or selectable drinks print (menu style). One more thing...on the drinks already included there is no way to add a picture of a drink other than re-doing the entire drink recipe by hand (and thereby duplicating the same drink again for the sake of a picture). To be able to add a pic (aka make editable) to an existing drink already included in the lineup would be nice also. Thanks so much for the update!
