✓ Update screwed things upHave to agree with all the complaints below. I use this app religiously and since the update its screwed everything up. I use a custom monthly expense (no rollover) and just want to see the totals for each month alone. All was fine before, now there are crazy negative totals in the 'cashflow' & 'balance' fields, of every month!! Cant see what the hell I've spent. Further to this, as you move day by day, the selected budget refreshes. For example, if u are moving through May with Aprils budget selected, it will change Aprils daily avg. Sort it Devs, and pronto. Im pulling my hair out over this.. UPDATE: seems as though the crazy negative totals have only affected budgets created prior to update. Still should be fixed, but new budgets created seem fine..Version: 0

✓ Crash Crazy!Wow. I would love to rate this higher because this app is pretty cool. But when it crashes all the time and can't be used because of that, what use is it? This thing crashes non-stop. I guess you get what you pay for. However, in reading the reviews for the $5 "full" version, it seems that it crashes nonstop as well. It's surprising to me that a company would release such a bug-ridden application and charge people for it. Besides the crashing, this application is pretty cool. I am hopeful that the problem will be resolved, but I can assure you, I won't be upgrading to the full version until it has!.Version: 0
✓ What a let down!I love the app the first day I use it. Everyday after that, it keeps crashing. As soon as I open the app, it freezes and a couple of seconds later it shutdown on its own. I think it has great potential if I could actually use it. Too bad..Version: 4.9
✓ Crashes constantly. Do NOT PAY for this app!!!!!I've been using this app since 2011 and although tedious to enter every penny, it's a great way to track where your money goes. The paid version is completely customizable. Unfortunately since Sept 2015, it keeps crashing when I'm going from screen to screen within the app. I first contacted the support team in Oct 2015 and they said they're looking into it. Nothing changed so in Dec 2015 I emailed again with the same issue. They said they were aiming for Dec/ early 2016 but it's now July 2016 and nothing has improved. Don't waste your money. After years of data entering you too may be ridiculously disappointed..Version: 5.1

✓ Good but needs more.Not a bad little program. Very useful even for being free. I would purchase the full version if it did a few more things. It needs: -on the detailed budget where it shows how much you have left to spend, it would be incredibly helpful if behind each catagory was a faint colored bar that decreased as you spent more money in that catagory. Green full to yellow to red as it depleates. So at a glance you could see how much you have left to spend in each catagory. - a way to add in unexpected income. - if the bar graph could work in reverse as well. I tend to want to see how much I have left more so then how much I've spent. So if it's $500 for personal, the bar is at $500 then counts down(lowers/decreases) throughout the month as you spend. As being a budget program it needs more visuals on how much you have left in certain areas. Maybe pick a top five catagories for a countdown page that shows almost like life bars for each catagory and to the side an overall budget meter. It just seems much more tangable to grasp how much you have left to spend when it's numbers with a visual representation. Overall best budget program out..Version: 0
✓ Bad updateI agree, this is a very bad update. It will not allow me to make any deposit entries. I am not sure if it is because of a bum update or the new interface (which I am not loving or I have just not figured it out). The previous version was quick, simple & very easy to figure out and use. Whether it be a bad update for the unfriendly user interface or a glitch in the update that is not allowing it to function properly it isn't working for me. I did not have long to play around with the older version, but i really liked it. Hope the bugs get worked out of this, so I can make up my mind if this is really the great application I thought it was..Version: 0
✓ Simple to use but...Very simple to use, easy to work. But some reporters need to be fix, the category or vendedor stay on top of each other (vertical) if change to diagonally I think is better. If the app has a function to split a expensive or Income on category and account, I think it would be better for the app. It’s a nice price for upgrade if this amendments could be done. ✓ Pen and paper would be better than this appTried to log in with my phone and said my sign in was wrong. Selected forgot password, app said an email was sent to reset. 10 minutes, and 3 requests later, still no password reset email. Decided to send them feedback from within the app about the issue. Typed it all up and the message wouldn’t send. Find another alternative. Even pen and paper would trump this app!.Version: 9.7.7

✓ Almost PerfectWould be 5 stars if you could roll over unused money in each default budget category into subsequent months. This version still just resets the amounts each month. I want budgets for things like gifts, electronics,etc to accrue over the year. The lack of this feature is the only reason I'm using a different (mostly inferior) budget app. Implement the ability for unused budget money to add up over subsequent months and ill buy the full version in an instant..Version: 5.0.7
✓ Great interface - needs more customisationWorks really well but its very inflexible. You can't add edits types of expense (and pub isn't even a category). Nor can u choose to budget weekly rather than monthly, even though most budget counsellors would advise budgeting weekly. The ability to add/rename accounts would also be welcome. Nevertheless, it is the best budgeting app I've tried and I have sampled a fair few. Nevertheless it.Version: 4.9
✓ Needs Sync to be greatI love the simplicity and speed to enter expenses. Intuitive and easy. It needs Sync functionality to be worthwhile for me. I only get half the picture - my husband & I need to share info on what we spend. I'd upgrade my rating to 5 star with sync functionality!.Version: 4.9
✓ Quite nice but keeps crashingQuite a nice app. I like the fact that you can add new categories for your expenses and it is great that you can export the result. My main concern is that it keeps crashing on me. I have just entered about 6 expenses and I would say it crashed about 8 times during that process. Even without the crashing problem I find data entry quite time consuming and suspect that a simple spreadsheet would be more practical for my needs..Version: 0

✓ Not happy with the lite versionIt will only allow me to enter 1 not 10 as stated. Plus the app keeps closing...although, when I was able to use the app, I found it very easy to use ad a very good concept. Might still consider the full version as the other apps I have tried in this category don't seem to be as versatile. ✓ Account Balance?I found this app to be very effective for those who wish to keep track of their spending. It's basically an organizer that allows you to see where and what you spend your money on. A spending report. HOWEVER, I personally could not find reference online or in previous reviews on how to keep track of all of your money, as a register would. I mean, knowing I spend too much money eating out is nice, but knowing how much I have to spend is better. I had to download the "Balance" app to compensate for what this one lacks. Add a bank account function, where it simultaniously keeps track of your bank account balance while graphing your spending report, and this app would be a full 5 stars!.Version: 0
✓ Good app but have concerns.I love the app! It's well designed and is great for tracking and managing finances. My concern is that it hasn't been updated in over a year. Apparently, it hasn't even been updated for ios9. Worried that over time it'll get glitchy and no one will be there to fix it. Until I see an update I can't afford to keep my household finances loaded in here for fear that I might lose it all. Hope the developers update it. It really is a very good app..Version: 5.1

✓ Looks and works well, but...... Turns out poor. App had so much promise - it works well, fairly easy to use and quick to pick up - the app itself is wonderful. But I can't use it. If you're paid calendar monthly this app is right up your street. If not, then you're pretty much SOL and better off looking elsewhere. If the dev adds an option for a timed budget, (x £ for x days for instance) or a weekly option instead of monthly, then i'll snap my hand off to d/l. ✓ The best app so far, but still lackingUpdated review: Developers: I'm using Family Budget instead of paying $5 for the regular app. This decision is strictly from the seemless ease of syncing. Other than that, you are much closer to what I am looking for. If I didn't have a joint account, I would buy the your upgraded version. Please figure out how to sync!!! This app has almost everything you could want with one major thing missing: the ability to sync with your spouse. The only two apps that have the ability (mybudge & family budget) are difficult to navigate. If the developers do one thing, please please make it easy to share with multiple users (at least one other user) so we don't have to re-enter each others information! Also would like the ability to save a few custom reports. I like to filter by payment (to see my account balances) at all times, but also like to see amount spent by catagory. Wish I could save these preferences for ease. The sync ability is gold! The first developers that get it right have a $20 app (easy)!.Version: 0
✓ Money ManagerGreat App. one of the best available. The CONS: It does not allow one to edit or delete pre-loaded (default) categories; it does allow to create new ones but that creates clutter if one is not using the default categories. 2) It would be nice to have the option of tracking more than one account. The PROS: the charts, reports, monthly and yearly totals. In its defense, and for those who complain of not being able to input income, get a check register application. As the name of this app. implies, it is an expense tracking application, not an income tracking app. However, I will go for HomeBudget. It allows me to edit and create my own categories and subcategories and it allows the user to track more than one account..Version: 0
✓ Doesn't transfer info from lite to full versionLoved this app at first but noticed that I couldn't set a limit for each item like with other budgetting apps. Also, no calculator for adding up different incomes and you can't add one off payments to the regular budget. What really frustrated me was that it DID NOT post the info from the lite version to the full version, not even after I deleted all entries with photos of receipts (this is a known problem- nut only after you realise a problem in the first place). And it wouldn't connect to my computer's wi-fi at all. The suggestions from support staff did not help at all. Don't bother with the lite version..Version: 0
✓ Good Luck if You Have Any ProblemsI downloaded this app and paid to upgrade to Pro so I could sync with my husband. Three months in and I can’t get it to sync or send an email for support. There’s also no fix presented in the FAQ or in forums. Email goes to some sketchy company and the auto reply addresses another app..Version: 9.9.1

✓ Looks good, but don't quite get it....Downloaded this app to try and get my personal finances a little more organised. I've found myself flicking through different screens for the past hour, trying to input my wages, and 2 regular direct debits. I've pretty much given up, and shall resort to a pen and a piece of paper I think. Probably a good app once it's set up and you know how to use it, but I down want pie charts and receipts, I just want to see clearly how much I have coming in, and how much is going out... ✓ Crashed 5 times in 5 minutesI've got no other apps running in memory and am running latest version of IOS and yet this app (free version) has crashed repeatedly. Is anyone else experiencing this? ✓ Inconsistent with how many items it allows.I don't know if this is a bug, or a ploy to get you to buy the full version. But when I first loaded this on my Touch, it only allowed 3 entires before I got the "purchase" reminder. I uninstalled, then reinstalled and then I was able to get the full 10 allowed. However, on my iPhone, it will only allow 1 entry. That's right ONE, before getting the purchase reminder. I uninstallled and reinstalled and rebooted the phone 3 times. The program itself is great, but something isn't right about the demo's implementation. I do like the amount of categories and subcategories, along with keeping track of your budget. I may get the full version, but I do feel a bit unhappy about not being allowed a full 10 on the demo, at least on the iPhone..Version: 0
✓ Paid for upgrade, lost all data, poor customer serviceWas upgrading phones and wanted to ensure I did not lose any data from several years of using the lite version. Upgraded to Pro and subscribed for the synch subscription. Was charged for both. Nothing transferred to the new phone when I logged in but was still available on my old phone. When I contacted the support team I was told to “airdrop” the information which resulted in all receipts that had been saved being lost. Ended up being charged for an upgrade and synch and lost several years of data. The iXpenseIt team took no responsibility for charges and told me to “take it up with the Apple”. After multiple back and forths trying to understand where the data had gone and being promised a technician would call iXpenseIt simply stopped responding. The lite version was fine for basic expense recordings but the app had multiple bugs and the reports were useless. The one thing that was handy was the ability to scan and record receipts but in order to save this you need to subscribe. This would be fine if that actually was the case, but their support seem to have no idea where this data is. Do not rely on this for anything important and don’t expect any help once they have your money..Version: 9.9.1
