✓ Quit working and no supportI have been using this app to store important documents on my iPad. I have been satisfied with it until about 6 months ago. For some reason the app will no longer load. It comes up and immediately crashes. I am unable to access the documents. I have been required to try to remember what all I have stored so I can duplicate them in a more stable app I emailed SavySoda support and received an automated reply with a reference number. That is all after months of me sending desperate requests for some help. Save yourself some grief and use a different app to store documents. There are several good ones from Reputable companies. ✓ Don’t download this appMy experience has been that any data I created was deleted when I deleted the app. I think the data should have been able to be preserved outside of this app and can’t believe it wasn’t. I am writing this review so people will know they will steal your data or delete your data without your consent. If you don’t save it to iCloud if you keep it on your device and use this app to create your content, they will steal your data or disappear your data. So kiss it goodbye there’s no way to save it if you use this app. It would also appear that their review history is completely bogus. If you will notice all their most recent apps, reviews are five stars from unrecognizable accounts that are bots. BEWARE this app! Apple needs to remove this app from the store and ban it permanently..Version: 15.0
✓ RubbishCAN NOT EDIT spreadsheets or Word docs They have to be, according to developers website, in .csv format for spreadsheets and Word docs not able to be edited at all just viewed. Awful app. Why people are giving this 4-5 stars makes me think it’s the developer inflating their review scores. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS RUBBISH. Much better free Office apps that ACTUALLY work out there.Version: 11.3

✓ Great Program / ANNOYING VIDEO ADSI have used this program since its introduction, and found it to be a useful alternative to paying Microsoft again to use Word on my iPhone. HOWEVER, today I went to save a new document and I was taken to an 8 SECOND VIDIO AD that I was forced to watch or I would lose the unsaved content. These are the most intrusive and annoying ads that a developer can select of the many options available to make money. I WILL BE DELETING THIS APP, and after checking out replacements, I WILL POST ALTERNATIVES IN MY FOLLOW UP REVIEW. Deleting and Negative Reviews are the only way we can stop ridiculous ads like this; I suggest you do the same.Version: 12.2
✓ Trying again to post my 2 star reviewFunny how they don't post negative reviews. I left a 2 star review a while ago and it never got posted. This app doesn’t work correctly. It doesn't save colors. It doesn’t save with .doc extension, it only saves documents with RTF extension. Spreadsheet files are limited to CSV extension. It does not copy and paste from other csv or xls files. It saves newly created empty files and multiple copies of edited documents even when you hit “don’t save”. It doesn’t save files to iCloud folder even after you set the document storage folder to iCloud. The help files are either nonexistent or they don’t make sense for this app. There is no possible way there could be so many recently posted 5 star reviews of this app! It doesn't work correctly. Very few critical reviews. LOL. Really? By all means, download this app! Find out for yourself. However, if they ever actually fix any of the above mentioned issues, I'll be happy to update my review with 5 stars 😊.Version: 15.0

✓ Missing true Dropbox integrationTo edit a file in Dropbox, first you have to find the document, but there’s no “search” features in this app. So I search in the Dropbox app. Then I have to download the document, which loses the context of which Dropbox folder the document was stored inside. After editing locally, I tap the “Save” button and all I see is “Local Files”, not Dropbox. I suspect that even if I could save to Dropbox it would make me find the folder again. This is way too many steps, and I never know if the local copy is the latest version (others may have edited the file in Dropbox) or even if I’ve saved my version to Dropbox. IOW, this app doesn’t sync changes in both directions, which treats Dropbox as just another disk without collaborators, which is not the point of cloud storage..Version: 15.0

Usually when I see these apps, I don't like them, but this is really cool :) It made it so much easier for me to organise my subjects, because i use my iPad for school. ✓ This basically does not workIt is one of several Savy Soda products which I have purchased but found to be completely nonfunctional. This will not open spreadsheets without renaming .xls to .csv and even then all that changes is the error message. Support is horrendous. Usability is zero. I’m not picky, just want the basics to carry an Excel spreadsheet on the go on an iOS device fro sometimes months at a time. Despite many hours I have yet to gain this functionality for a minute. I have actually tried several Savy Soda products and none of them are functional. None can handle the basics... opening or creating an Excel spreadsheet (or other office doc) on an iOS app, editing it and saving it in a Microsoft a Office format. I have contacted customer support numerous times and receive form letter emails. I put the issues where instructed and have never received a response, let alone a resolution. I have effectively paid to be an unpaid alpha release tester for Savy Soda. I will never again consider a purchase of any Savy Soda application..Version: 12.0
✓ Crashes a lot.I use both Documents apps. The Plus App crashes a lot when changing text size or font style! After the last 2021 update the color blocks for selecting font or highlight color are all Black, but if you can remember which black box used to be your desired color then your ok. I like the app. But considering I’m a paying customer I’d like to see this apps bugs fixed quicker!.Version: 14.1
✓ SAVY SOFA REFUSE TO HELP IN ANY WAYRUBBISH SOFTWARE COMPANY can no longer edit the documents. I am totally unable to use the best fonts for my eyesight. After a limited iPad reset I no longer can control the appearance of text. I am using iOS 16.1.1 Now, when I print a document the text is enormous as I cannot select a suitable font for an iPad screen, so the giant text is half lost as it will not suit an A4 piece of paper. I have written to SavySoda FOUR TIMES already. They REFUSE TO REPLY. IF I delete the Documents (with adverts) App, I am very afraid I will lose all my very serious important documents. I have begged them to reply pointing out I MUST NOT LOSE ALL MY DOCUMENTS. Asked if there is one single human being their end who knows what the solution is for this vital error. ✓ Cannot printThe app seems OK but I wanted to print my first document & it seems that it can’t be done. When selecting ‘Find Printer’ I get the message ‘No AirPrint printers found’. This is not surprising since I don’t have an AirPrint printer or know what one is. Why it can’t use the printer that my other apps use is puzzling. ✓ Good for the priceOk app. Good for simple docs. However a 5 page rtf form was unusable as way to slow. Almost ok if all other apps closed. (May be better on latest iPads) Good syncing with iCloud and Dropbox. However click the email link and there a just instruction off how to open. ✓ DocumentsA very weak ap. Apart from some font manipulation abilities, it has none of the word processing capabilities of a paid MS Word package, that you have to pay a regular rent for it's use, which I'm not inclined to go for. The free version is an absolute pain in that it will pop the same advert up every 30 seconds, asking if I want to check my PPI,no matter if you tap the ad choices and click that you don't want to see it, and even get an acknowledgment from Google saying they won't show it again, it will still keep popping up. Dislike it. Not only that, there was no way to see what you are writing at the end of a document because the keyboard covers the bottom half of the screen and therefore hides half of the document behind it, the only way to see what you have written is to close the keyboard but this also makes it impossible to edit anything that is out of sight behind the keyboard. I'm not too sure of buying the paid version if it doesn't overcome this fault.Version: 12.0
✓ Doesn’t work offline on the watchBeen looking for a watch app which shows offline notes. This one could be great - you can create folders but the second I test this app offline I get errors every time I open a note (as the phones not online). Frustrating l. If it needs my phone then I may as well write notes on my phone rather than my watch. Also added a photo to the app which didn’t appear in the watch app - showed an error.Version: 12.0
✓ Terrible Company To Deal With!I wanted to purchase an upgrade to their software but they are either no longer in business or they don’t care about selling their apps. Worst company I have ever dealt with! I don’t suggest even downloading this app as their is no support and no chance to upgrade. Complete waste of time! Before wasting your time I recommend trying to contact their support. You will get 404 dead links on their website and they will never respond to any questions. It’s really too bad as they had the potential to be a great company with great apps but unfortunately they don’t seem to care..Version: 15.0
✓ Great appI'm so glad I got this app I love to write and I love using word doc and excel and power point now I can use it on my iPhone I couldn't ask for anything more it's Awesome Thanks guys :) I really enjoy this app it’s simple to use and so functional thank you. ✓ Couldn’t open a local fileHad options for everything cloud related (like Dropbox) but all I wanted was to open a file stored locally on my phone. There wasn’t an option from what I could see. Also received an alert that I could turn off parental controls in settings. There was no such option. Poorly designed or perhaps just poorly updated app. I expected more after reading the reviews. I purchased a new IPad in November and now I can not get the fonts in this app to work. I have a lot of documents saved but can not change them or change the font. I tried doing a new document and still unable to change font and size. Why should I have to pay for an upgrade if the free program is already installed on my IPad? ✓ Ipad mini , now useless with spreadsheets and SavyThis used to work perfectly with ipad mini until the last but two apple updates . Now when I have been sent a spreadsheet via email which would always happily open in documents it will no longer do so . Have scrapped and re loaded just in case but no luck , it simply goes to the opening page and then nothing , have tried it with a variety of spreadsheet software , nothing works . Not sure what apple did other than slow down the minis responses in general , of course apple don't do things like this , oh wait they changed their mind , yes they do ..Version: 11.4
✓ DocumentsI've used this app for several years. For the most part I'm very happy with it. After the last update, I've not been as pleased. Whenever I touch the screen to work in a certain section of my document, it jumps to a totally different place that's not even close to the place I selected. ✓ Please Fix These Bugs That Are Keeping Me from Wanting to Use This AppI love this app. I used this app for three years with no issues. I’m giving it two stars in this review because I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app several times because of a bug that I can’t figure out how to manually fix. I kept doing so because I was hoping the problem would be resolved eventually. The issue has been that I can’t apply changes to the font. There’s no option anymore to apply the changes I make after I click the font button. I can set it to “Times New Roman”, size “15”, but I cannot apply the change, or exit out of the font changer. It may be just that my device is “behind” (I am working with an iPod Touch 6th Gen), but if I can download the app, it should function correctly regardless of what I’m working with. ✓ Cannot edit Microsoft Word files!I copy/pasted the following from this apps Online Help section under the FAQs: “Unfortunately, you cannot edit a .doc or .docx file at the moment. However, you can view the content of .doc and .docx file.” As a result, this app had the shortest life span of any app I’ve installed on my iPad 5. I downloaded this app for that very reason: being able to edit my Word documents while away from my computer. No can do. That statement above belongs in the description & features so it’s clear before installation!!! ✓ Great Document for daily medical trackingI was really blown away by how easy it is to set up and use this app. I was looking for some way to track my daily medical information. I kept going through the little booklets they give at the doctors office and just wanted to keep track of it on my iPhone. So now I have it one place. Date, Morning Sugar level along with before/after sugar levels taking Janumet with meals, Morning Meds, Evening Meds, Victoza shot, also blood pressure readings through out the day and any Notes. The only reason I didn’t give it a higher rating was today is the first day. After a month of using it I may go higher in the rating. Oh, did I mention ALL this for free? Great bargain with no monthly fees. Thanks.Version: 12.0
✓ Doesn’t function rightI would have given it maybe a 3. But since I started using it again. I’m super disappointed. I’ll copy my doc. Written in my iPhone notepad. Make all my adjustments to documents.. when I save it’s fine. But it’s hard to just view again without clicking out and coming to the first page. Also. The bold or any other function like that will work for a little bit .. but then it freezes and it’s useless. Super frustrating. Doesn’t make any since. So I’m looking for a different app. Also one more thing. The format doesn’t stay true. Doesn’t stay lined up the way you key it in..Version: 11.4
