✓ Read Description...I didn't read the full subscription. You can only store 100 titles for free. It's $15 for unlimited - which is expensive. There are other apps out there that are unlimited and free..Version: 4.0.4
✓ Needs a scan facility!!The software which this app supports, is excellent, and very useful for building up a more-than-complete inventory of your movie collection. However, given the number of apps available for organising you movie collection, the major let-down with this is the lack of a barcode scan facility. Almost all of the other available apps of this type have a barcode scan facility for the iphone, to allow colleciton cataloguing on-the-go. Add that to the heavily over-priced cost of the app, given the other options on the market, it really does question the apps credentials. Alternative apps of this type are much cheaper, especially considering that this app is really only to support the collection catalogue software by CLZ..Version: 1.3.3
✓ Needs developmentThis app must be used with movie Collectorz on PC. I'm an avid movie collector. I downloaded my entire collection quickly. This app has limited query capabilities - only title search. Query by actor is necessary. Still missing many fields such as rating. It would also be nice to connect with IMDB. Be aware that you are paying $10.00 for work in progress. This app has great potential and does run quite stable. You might want to wait for an upgrade with improved functionalality..Version: 0
✓ App needs looking atI down loaded the app and started scanning in my movie collection but when I went back to see if they had scanned in I noticed that the title 40 days & 40 nights was filed under B ???? Contacted customer services and never heard anything back from them after 3 days! And you can’t add tv series / documentaries on the app as it classed them as movies ??? Should have separate folder or option to file separately As there is other sites you can log movies & and a different site for tv series and documentaries and you don’t have to pay to subscribe to them for I will stick to them as the customer service is only helpful if you ask the correct questions ( how to do something like add a movie )!.Version: 7.5.3
✓ A bit of a challengeGood app. Would be a great app if the scanner uploaded everything correctly. Often I’ll scan a movie, but when I go to look for it, it doesn’t show. Thinking I did something wrong, I’ll rescan only to be told the movie is already in the collection. It gives me the option to add any and I do. Suddenly there are two copies in the system, but now i can see them. I then delete one and everything is as it should be..Version: 4.12.3
✓ Very limited functionality$9.99 for iPhone app is a rip off. Can't do anything on iPhone app other than view one database. Can add, delete or edit anything. On top of that say you have more than one database on your desktop, you cannot even sync the databases separately. You can only sync one database to your iPhone. Can't believe that they make you pay $10/- for the iPhone app when you can't use it as a stand alone app. Very disappointed..Version: 1.3.5
✓ Good app but expensive.I have used the collecterz suite of catalogue software for many years it is fabulous to be able to bring my collections with me on my mobile devices. Pricing is an issue with most updates now requiring license upgrades in past only major updates required this but alas with software development comes costs which need to be recouped. If you have a small collection may not be worth it but for large collections this app is a must have..Version: 1.3.4
✓ Not for the PriceFor a long time I have been looking for a replacement for Bento for my movies and games databases. Unfortunately Collectorz is the only decent option although after 15yrs of development it still falls short in so many ways. I thought the app would make a good way of carrying my database around with me but for the price, it lacks two important features. One - the sync is only one way, so if you add items to the database on the app or edit an item, it won’t sync back. The only way to do that is via cloud sync which is another $25 a year. The cost of the mac app and the iPhone app is bad enough - add a yearly update subscription and yearly cloud subscription and the cost factor for these sub-par programs is getting astronomical. Worse though, is that unlike the Mac app you can’t create your own folder views. What should happen is custom folder views sync as well. I just want to be able to see the moves I haven’t watched by Genre, sorted by IMDB rating. Possible although poorly executed on the Mac. Impossible on the iPhone App which is where you would want to view it the most. Essentially all this is (unless you pay of the cloud as well) is a one way data dump with limited sorting/folder options. $22 for that? Regretting the move to Collectorz..Version: 3.1.4

✓ Bonjour, non, au revoirI have had this for a while. And I have lost the ability to link and update with movie collectorz. The company has been of little help "saying I should install bonjour". As this is already done. I'm left with nowhere to turn. I like the desktop program but this CLZ IS POINTLESS without a connection to your pc. It would be helpful to update via cable, or website. ✓ Buggy ++ frustratingIpad3 owner...covers only partly download, very slow, and the scan barcode option causes it to crash without saving all the movies you just scanned in. Now every time I try and scan something the search/results window disappears and I can't scan. Should have made this app simpler and more reliable.Version: 2.0.1
✓ A good application...I like the application and seems reasonably stable. (ie: no crashes yet) The application looks nice but on my setup, it took a long while to synchronize my collection. Not sure if it's because I was a far from my wifi router or if the collection is too big to transfer fast. I'll do more testing and see if the 600+ collection size is the real problem here. Overall, a good application but some feature seem to be missing. For a version 1.0, it's a good start..Version: 0

✓ Clz MoviesThis application needs the associate software for your MAC. While this is referred to it isn't really explained what your purchase will land you with - a bill of approaching £40 ON TOP OF the purchase of this add-on. Add in the cost of the CD companion (if needed) & all told you will be over £90 out of pocket if you take both, they are not compatible with both media formats. So, while the whole bundle may well be as good as some are saying here I cannot in all good faith award this anything more than a solitary star (which I would have made zero if possible) because there is no need to hide the costs if the programs are that good, and after the download isn't a good time to find out - not really..Version: 0
✓ DO NOT UPDATE...Update at your own peril. Previously I had problems adding content via wifi. I finally got it to work by changing my network setting from 'public network' to 'home network' (and then swtiching back after downloading - running a windows OS, I prefer the highest setting for best security). When this update was announced, I quickly updated as one of its new features is adding content via USB. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. I am using version 7.1.4 of movie collector (the latest version) on a windows 7 PC. When I move the created file (which the program creates) into the load window of itunes, it loads, and after a while my itouch states it has successfully loaded, and after I press okay, I find it hasn't loaded and the file in itunes has also been deleted!!! Now I have only the 50 demo files (when the program updates, it deletes your user file so you have to re-load), and even those are missing their covers as using the USB file transfer deleted the demo covers as well!!??. I have also tryed to reload my file via wifi like before, but this also doesn't seem to work now either (but I'll try again later when I'm less angry)..Version: 1.3

✓ Cool app, but...Up until this point, I had been keeping my movies catalogued in an Excel spreadsheet. I still use my spreadsheet, but now with this app I don’t always have to check my laptop for the information I want/need to know. It’s now in the palm of my hands. I really love the barcode scanner and how it lets you add movies more quickly. At first I wasn’t too happy with the price. This was the first app I’d ever spent over $3, but hopefully I get my money’s worth. One major downside is that I can’t utilize CLZ’s computer application version of this app without spending $50 for it (hence why I’m still using my Excel spreadsheet). It would truly be nice if I could also access this information on my laptop, but until that happens I’ll have a mobile app version and an Excel version.Version: 4.9.1
✓ Very frustratingNot very good support and can’t even fix issues. I’ve subscribed to this app looking for a good movie database but every time I try to add a movie it’s telling me to subscribe, which, I might add, I have done. Thus I have ended up paying for the app 3 times. Not Good!! And I can’t seem to get any support. If you don’t want to pay for this app every time you add a movie don’t get this. ✓ Good app but...It seems to be missing a way to track who you have loaned a film to. This is a feature found in other less expensive apps and would be nice in this one. Also not all films show up in results despite being over 20 years old..Version: 2.5.2
✓ Good but needs workFirst off - the price is outrageous considering you've paid for the PC or Mac version. And the price is doubley outrageous considering the app itself is a little "meh" compared to the PC/Mac version. ✓ Does Not Sync Cover ImagesI have the desktop and iPhone versions of this program. The desktop works well, and syncs the movies with my phone, but only 1 out of every 20 or 30 movies has a cover image on the phone version. All the movies have a cover image on the desktop. I have an iPhone 8 Plus with the max memory so there is plenty of storage space. Just looking at a bunch of empty squares does not help you select your movies very well. I thought that it just needed time to sync, but it’s been 2 weeks now with no change. I can not recommend this app..Version: 5.0.3

✓ Not working with ios11Far too difficult to set up. You need to create and account in the app, then on the website and then Download something called CLZ Barry as the camera in the app on ios11 did not work. That download did not connect. Ended up wasting 2 hours trying to get it to work. No online help or videos. Videos all assume connection between CLZ Barry and CLZ Movies and CLS Books were successful. :-(..Version: 4.5.9
✓ Just let me buy the app - no subscriptionsIt’s pretty bad that the subscription info is hidden in the text if you don’t drop it down. Just let me buy the app once and have it forever. Subscription models are a huge put off. EDIT TO DEV RESPONSE: The subscription info IS hidden by having to expand the app description. It is placed just far enough down to not be visible until you expand the description. In regards to the subscription model response: I understand your POV from a business stance. One way around this is to purchase an app for say, $20 and get free updates for a year. After that, you must renew to get newer updates. Or alternatively, build the app to allow for day $5 gets you 50 movie scans and you can buy more increments..Version: 6.3.1
