✓ Good features, bad design, bad cloud syncIn terms of what this app can do to help track and organize your comic collection it’s great. But it also has significant issues, each of which cost it a star: Interface: this is one of the ugliest and least intuitive interfaces I’ve ever seen. It has those “Windows app circa 2005” vibes. You really need to take time to understand how it wants you you to think. It can be overly confusing to know if you’re looking at comics you actually own vs. comics that simply exist. And while this is subjective I find the interface gaudy and ugly. Cloud sync: weekly this will break, and weekly your only resort is to jump to the CLZ forums, complain, and then somebody eventually manually flips a switch to fix it. This is beyond ridiculous, especially when things like iCloud sync exist and work without these headaches. Whatever sync solution is in play it is NOT working and needs a major rewrite or just pivot to a more stable, off-the-shelf solution. ✓ Very good, but still needs workThere's been an annoying problem with this app always using the core database's series group which if you use your own is a pain. Browsing through comics could be better. For example, you can list your titles by series group but that then just lists all of the issues. It would be nice if you could drill down properly from series group to series to issues. Adding comics is great (apart from the series group issue). The barcode scanner is excellent and much much better than the one in CLZ Barry which is hopeless. In summary this is certainly the best comic collector app but with some extra features (I'd love to be able to create ad-hoc wish lists not in my collection database), some usability improvements and a bug fix or two, it would be great..LorddazzVersion: 2.5.2

✓ Pretty goodA bit convoluted but pretty good. Crashes a lot and bar code scanners a bit temperamental. All in all good to have your collectable on file..AdsypadsVersion: 3.0.3

✓ DisappointingWas really looking forward to using this as all the features looked great, but the barcode scanning doesn't work with the iPad 2 and it didn't want to download details of the first series I tried entering ("The Secret Service" ) and i don't have time to type in every title and take photos of the covers. ✓ Too slow to add comicsThis app has a nice UI and the barcode scanning works well on a phone. However, it takes about a minute to add each comic to the collection. ✓ Would be good if it worked properly....Apart from being very over-priced and you needing to separately purchase the desk top version for full functionality this would be a good app. I'm not being facetious. The main problem I have is that it swaps and drops covers. So the cover for say, Batman #1 (I wished) gets put onto superman #12! Then you have the whole rigmarole of hunting down covers or deleting stuff etc. when you have a large collection you want an app that helps you catalogue it, not hinder you in doing so. Seems more of an issue when you have a wish list. Sort it out CLZ. We deserve better for our, not inconsiderable, bucks..........Danthehat69Version: 2.5.2

✓ I like it but it is buggy.I like this app a lot but it has always been buggy. I had a problem with it replacing comic book covers with other comic book covers in my collection. The only solution was to erase both books and re-enter them. And if you had notes for a book, you had to re-type them in. The app still crashes repeatedly; sometimes four or five times in arrow. Since the last two updates, now it crashes when I try to upload my comic book covers to the cloud. Like I said, I like it but really it is very unreliable. It seems like they now have this app working right. One thing I wish they would do is allow more fields for editing, like the creators/characters field. Maybe make more features like theses available through in-app purchases?.MoxellVersion: 4.9.2

✓ Great app, however...I really love this app because I can look through my list to see what volumes I have and don't have so I don't accidentally buy duplicates. On the other hand, the reason for a 3-star is because it does not have 'all' volumes whether looking through list or scanning barcode. Some comics I have after scanning the barcode shows "no result" which gives me no choice but to add each volume manually. By manually: you type in the volume, the author, take photo of cover or find image through google (which is tedious), barcode, etc. You're not given an option to type in a summary which makes the volume feel separate from your collection. If this app can actually have a list of everything without skipping any volumes, then I will change my review..Freya03Version: 5.0.4

✓ Awesome app!Brilliant app. Very handy. Makes keeping track of my collection a piece of cake. I've had it about 24 hours and already have detailed information saved on over 1,000 comics in my collection. The only thing that annoys me is the amount of times the app crashes. Would be great if this random crash bug would get fixed. Woot that I'm sure the input of comics will be even quicker! ✓ Ridiculous!This app is so stupid. If you are buying this app to maintain a database of your comics on your phone ten stop right there. You can not edit any data on this app. It is for viewing a database made on your computer. This wouldn't be too bad if the application was free. ✓ Limited for the priceFor the price, the offering is extremely limited. The good points stem from the fact that there is an extremely large database of information to draw from, including all cover art etc. However, the ability to synch between iPad and iPhone/PC is chargeable. ✓ Don’t do itWhat a waste of time can’t log into my account can’t upload my comics. I got up to 17 and then I had to get a subscription. ✓ Ruin a Good ThingThe last update, which I’m sure was put together to make the app better, has basically ruined it. It’s annoying. It’s clunky. Things like renaming titles (because this app has ALWAYS been a disaster with proper titles and sorting) is impossible now and doesn’t actually do anything. Yeah. What a waste and a way to ruin a good thing. I wish someone would just develop an app that tracks your d*mn comics without trying to reinvent the wheel..MerrikVersion: 6.0.2
