✓ Needs export functionPotentially decent app but it needs an export function as well as read only access/passcode to make changes. Limited use without both. ✓ Thieves & RobbersThis company stole my money and deleted all my data on me so that they could start gouging people for a monthly subscription instead of you just paying a one time fee and owning the app like it was when I got it! ✓ Useable but flawed.Running on a MacBook Pro, the program would frequently shut down ( without warning, losing much tedious work!). It has quirky and inconsistent commands (when to use tab vs. enter); too many confirmation actions, and a weak search function. I have a substantial lp collection. The database does not “play well” with lps because CDs are expected. To top it off, the values provided by CORE do not match my holdings and overwrote my entries! That said, it’s still the best I’ve found and have begrudgingly struggled with it until I subdued it ( or perhaps just changed my attitude). BTW, the newest version appears to be considerably more stable..OktenorVersion: 4.9.3

✓ Nope.I have the CLZ comics and movies app that I paid $15 each for. I downloaded the music app before they went to subscriptions, which is very annoying btw. They used to give you 100 free to add to your database. Out of the 25 records I tried, I found 1. Yes 1 lonely record that is still sitting in my collection. I’m about to delete the app. But before I do that, if you want to an app like this, download the Discogs app. It actually works, it will find your music, and it’s FREE. ✓ CrashesNew update crashes every time I try to add an album. Useless. iPhone 6, ios 11.1. Click on “Add by searching online”. Type in artist, say “Rolling Stones”. Choose album from list. It brings up album with song list. Click “+” sign. Choose “Add album to wish list”. Crashes immediately every time. Tried dozens of times with different albums. ✓ Waste of moneyThis is not a good standalone app & a ripoff. I expected allot more for the high price. You will spend 1/4 time searching database by hand (add after scan does not work) & 3/4 time watching the app crash. The search feature is extremely limited. You can't edit all the fields in your collection either. Exporting and syncing is an add-on & will cost you more money (not sure if it even works). Stay away from this app until they spend some time fixing it. Maybe they need to take some pointers from disclogs (free utility). ✓ Dreadful Update5 Stars for V1.9 but zero stars for V2. A truly dreadful update. List view - why does the album title take precidence over the artist's name? When I'm scanning a list of titles I look out for the artist first, title second. Settings - options for Album/Artist or Artist/Album please. The little format icon - pointless screen clutter. Settings - toggle On/Off please. Grid view - why so much black space around the covers? Ugly. And it looks like there's more black at the top and bottom than the side. And why is one of the albums highlighted in grey? Again, ugly. Thinnest black line (of equal width) around everything please. Album view - all of a sudden the "Owner" field is visible. Why? Settings - option to hide please. It would also be nice to have some control over the tool bar. I'd like an option to hide the edit button. I'm never planing to edit my database on a three inch screen - that's what I downloaded the desktop version for. The app (V2) takes a lot longer to load than previous versions. Many times I have to submit a query 4-6 times before getting a result and that's not the service I expect for $15. It's also not very intuitive unless you have the exact title. No fudging Beatles! ✓ Work in ProgressThere are some good new features to this version 2 release, like the ability to add items directly from your phone or iPad. The layout seems to not have changed which isn't a bad thing, however what I have noticed early on is that after syncing my database from connect, there are now a lot of errors such as missing artwork and a very annoying habit of taking multiple cd titles and placing all the tracks under the disc 1 heading and leaving disc 2 and 3 blank. I have taken a look back at version 1 and synced it without having the errors as described above. So for the moment I will continue to use version 1 till the bugs are ironed out..GlobalGroovesVersion: 2.0.1

✓ No track list edit option... yetReally nice app which I'm using to catalogue vinyl. Only gap found after creating 200 or so records is that if the album is not on the central CLZ database it is not possible to add a track listing to a manually created entry. Album art and tile, label, date fields can be manually populated, but not tracks. I am told this will be added as a feature at some point in the future. The database is pretty comprehensive so this is not a showstopper, but for classical collections there are inevitably gaps. Three stars because of this limitation. ✓ Nice enough app, database needs expandingGiven a choice between manually entering info for all my 6,000+ albums or scanning their barcodes I'd far rather scan the barcodes and actually complete the task during my lifetime. Despite offering both of these options when entering a music library, perhaps only about 5% of the barcodes are recognised and so it's a useless option - trying and failing to scan a barcode just makes the process of manually adding them even longer so I've given up. ✓ SadWe have both CLZ Books and Movies which we find to be excellent databases and we love them. Very disappointed therefore in this database. There is not even the capability of adding performers, much less album detail and bios or links. Although there are not many databases out there this is the worst of them. ✓ Good entry options/ Find and sort, often very tricky.Even though this app has serious issues with boxed sets, I still find it fascinating and sort of useful. It is unfortunate that it is not at all easy to set up content which makes it good at sorting and organising. This app is very good at looking up albums from the internet but unless you are absolutely fastidious it ca turn out to be hopeless at then organising the material. The are ways to set up entry of data but organising things into order requires a religious attention to complete consistency and very careful planning. The potential in this app is certainly there, but the basic requirement to be able to filter by artist first, title second can fail spectacularly. Instead you have to set up boxed sets so that each disk is categorised into only one folder. Each time I think I have fixed it, I mess something up. After hours of patient adjustment I have eventually found it can work. This app makes me look at boxed sets and collections by the same artist and sigh. Get the app and test your potential organisation skills. It is a real challenge for you..DisdainFLLVersion: 5.0.7
