✓ Used to be an excellent app.This app used to be a tool that I use all the time. Recent updates caused it to delete all my data that I had saved within the app. Not getting any response from the developer about where they have my saved files. Now they want to sell me cloud access, but even that probably doesn’t have my original files..Version: 6.08
✓ Accurate but no imperial unitsAfter using the app for a view days, I thought I’d revise my review. First, the UI, while simple in design, is somewhat baroque and thus makes functionality discovery difficult. Settings don’t allow for selecting units of measurement. But the bigger issue is lack of accuracy of measurement. Even when a measurement is accurate, that measurement is often unrepeatable, so it’s hard to know which measurement is correct, if any. I’m not sure how much fault lies with ARkit, and how much with the developer, but this is hardly ready for real day-to-day productivity use... At $1, this app would be over-priced. At $6, it’s an insult..Version: 6.08
✓ Where are my projects ? Where is real AR integration !?Didn’t use the app for a while. Now, after it had been changed, I can’t synchronize and find my former projects any longer ? Where are my iCloud synchronized projects ? Just because you guys obviously removed iCloud and want to sell another cloud service, you remove the users stored projects ? ✓ Tech Support? Tech Support? Do you exist?Program is a great idea. It works but has a few consistent glitches that were never addressed. NEVER because I’ve owned at least 4 versions of the iPhone and the app crashes after 30 seconds once loaded new photos. Tech support if they have a tech support has never addressed this. They actually got back to me once a few years back and a little testy too. They said they were working on it. I give it one star. I love it when it works but the glitches are mounting and I’m looking for an alternative app that will get the job done..Version: 6.11

✓ One of your first customers ever!The latest update has rendered the app are useless piece of crap. Nothing works like it used to at all! You can only resize text boxes horizontally not vertically. Pictures no longer go to automatic landscape. When you insert an arrow the dimensions are upside down. How can I go back to my previous version I have about 150 projects in here? ✓ New app Change failI have used this app for years to handle all my clients photos/measurements for my contracting business. A few years ago after an update- I lost all previously saved files. The original mymeasures pro that had all my files in it was no longer updated with new version of iPhone. iCloud was no help in salvaging old data. I lost it all. You think I would’ve learned my lesson? No- I had to purchase the new my-measures Pro app (again) and start over. Now 3 years later new update screwed me again. I can see a whole new format. My folders with clients names (and there are hundreds) are still there but I can’t access the photos or measurements and it constantly freezes up- completely useless to me. There is critical information to my business in these files. Does anyone know of an app I can start over AGAIN with that won’t screw me over and my business up every couple years. I’m devastated by this. Please erase this app you’d be doing yourself a favor. The reason for this harsh review is i went to App Store to see if there is an update to fix problems with newly changed app. NOTHING- except claims of how great and flawless the newly designed app is. It had some issues before but nothing compared to this latest debacle. These claims of all the problems the newly designed app really got me frustrated. If anything the new version creates problems! A few back they changed it and I lost all my files even though they were in the cloud which I pay service for. Now, they have done the same exact thing and bamm the files are gone again. ✓ Greedy companyThis was one of my favorite apps. I don’t use it very often, but I liked it so much that I purchased the “pro” version. However, after having PAID for full and unlimited access “unlocked FULL version”, I have come back in need to use it again and found that there is now a subscription required. Frankly, I wish I could just have my money back now. I’m so disgusted with companies that offer a full program for a price and then force a time based subscription for something they already sold as a permanent FULL or “PRO” version that was supposed to be a one time purchase FOREVER..Version: 6.13
✓ Missing some crucial features, lots of room for improvement.I have been using this app for a few years now with varying success. Some things I find very frustrating. 1. Recent update has actually made this app not usable for me on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. It freezes and no longer wants to work with my Leica laser. 2. Does not have fractional inches for laser input. 3. It doesn’t keep the original photo resolution. 4. It only uses 1 of the 3 cameras of my phone. Of course I can take a picture using the iPhone camera app, but this is an extra step. 5. Would be great if drawing a dimension line didn’t require 2 fingers to draw a line. 6. More frequent updates to add features and improvements would be highly appreciated. There is a huge need for laser compatible measure apps such as this. I am in the kitchen design industry and use apps like this often... options are very limited in iOS. You guys have a huge opportunity to dominate this app market. I seen you guys replied to another comment recently about an upcoming update with new features... was that the last update that was supposed to have these features? ✓ What's going on?Apparently… the app gets pulled by Apple with no reason given. Meanwhile, an 'update' is released in the form of a new 'Pro' version. Now the original app returns with a minor bug fix and none of the extras. This isn't the way it works guys. You don't stitch up your loyal early adopters by freezing their version in time whilst putting all the great new features in a whole new app that I have to pay for all over again. Are they going to do this for the next version as well? Who knows? Well, I emailed the developers to ask about that and guess what… no reply. Don't get me wrong, it's a good measuring app, but it's tough to recommend when I'm feeling swindled. Yeah it's only a few quid. That's not the point. It feels like a cheap stunt which makes me not trust the developer, which makes me absolutely not want to pay the extra £4 to 'upgrade' to the 'Pro' version I thought I already owned. Look… if you're new to My Measures, I'd say get the Pro version, it's a great app, but just don't rely on any future updates. You may have to buy the app all over again in 6 months time to get them. ✓ I put off writing this hoping a resolution might happenI love the app. So much so, I paid for the cloud service. There I hit issues. Slow support service. I email support. They take a day to respond. I email back within 60 seconds of their email. I wait another day for a response. It takes a week to even get a picture of the issue. So frustrating. ✓ Immoral Extortion - Previous Users Unite!This used to be my favorite app. I’m not even in the construction or interior design business. But I do have rentals. I must’ve measured hundreds of rooms. They are all now inaccessible to me unless I pay for a subscription. OK, I’m fine with a new business model. I might have even signed up for it. But essentially to not give us access to data on our own iCloud account... because you want us to use your own service going forward, is not only disrespecting your loyal customers through the years, but essentially a form of hijacking and extortion. And you have alienated the thousands of users, like me, who showed it to people, recommended it, and loved it. If this happened to you, please email me at “My Measures Victims at gmail dot com” (no spaces) so we can try to get our valuable data back. If enough of us band together maybe we can either get them to give us access to our previous iCloud data, which is all we really want, or file a class action lawsuit. I’m sure you Pros lost time & money in your business because of this. The sad part is it was a terrific app, and might still be. But if you’re thinking of downloading this, buyer beware. ✓ Monthy ScamI bought the PRO version a while ago. I haven’t used it for a long time. I mostly have it to get my measurements from around the house to have ‘em handy when buying stuff at the store. I remember my files to synch between my iPad and iPhone, but today, when trying to do just that, I found out that now you need to pay a monthly fee to do it. I just can’t do that for an app I only use sporadically. Sorry but this is a major let down..Version: 6.09

✓ App no longer works correctlyThe issues I have had are as follows: Constant app crashes Cloud backup no longer works and causes app to crash Will not connect to pc as described in video tutorial. Response is very slow from developer and they have not been able to solve the issue, even with an app update which actually made the app worse for my colleagues. No refund offered either. ✓ All projects lost. No communication.The last version of My Measures will not even open in iOS 11. So as an architect, I have lost important info on a good number of projects that I cannot access. The new app has no facility for accessing these files. I have emailed the app developers a number of times, but with absolutely no response. It must be possible for them to enable subscribers to the new app to port across projects from the earlier app, But they appear to have no interest in doing so whatsoever. ✓ No AR measuring.Crashes every time. I only got it for the AR measuring feature, not to work on photos which a million of free apps already do. Just getting to the AR screen was an issue (not intuitive) which was surprising since they have it on the app’s name. It’s like they know it doesn’t work so it’s not featured on the UI, they try to get you to work on pictures instead. Once you get there, it crashed every time. Save your money. I’ve bought plenty of crappy apps over the years. This one is so bad I’m requesting a refund from Apple for the first time ever..Version: 6.08

✓ This could be the most expensive app there is...With the new iOS update,the original version of My Measures Pro was retired and became inaccessible. 5 years of construction data, and ideas - gone. The new people running this have a proposition for you though. If you pay them a monthly fee they will allow you to access YOUR DATA. ✓ No longer goodI am a professional Architetural designer and have been using this app for many years, but in the last 6-8 months it has been in unusable. It can not import photos from your library, they just come in blank. If it gets past that, it crashes or will not rotate the screen correctly. ✓ Waste of moneyThe original app was fantastic. I understand that old purchases do not fund a company for the future, however, the replacement app does not work as stated (ie AR). There are restrictions now on storage, I cannot figure a couple of things out and there is absolutely no instructions or help anywhere, you cannot contact the vendor for help. The menus on the sales material are not what is on the app. In short, I will do what I can to get a refund and they can stick this app you know where. ✓ Awful and confusing.All I wanted was an app that measure objects for work. After downloading I have on a number of occasions tried to work out how to do this. No proper instructions. A huge emphasis on buying iCloud space so the user can share measurements between computers and friends. But my main concern is just the lack of instructions, it can’t be that difficult to write a simple set of instructions for someone new to this. It wasn’t cheap. I would expect more thought in planning for the type of people who may buy this app (I just wanted to measure the door frame etc) and for it to be more user friendly. ✓ It WAS perfectI bought the pro version to use with my Bosch laser meter. It was incredibly wonderful. I love it. However, I’ve been having connection issues with the Bluetooth laser meter for a while. After taking the first photo and getting the measurements, when I want to take a new photo, it doesn’t transfer the measurements from the laser meter. I’ve sent multiple emails to the My Measure app but haven’t received a single reply..Version: 7.07

✓ Very diappointingI have hundreds of diagrams in the old My Measures Pro, synced between all my devices via iCloud. The whole lot is about to be rendered inoperable by iOS11. Imagine my disappointment to find that my purchased replacement My MeasuresPro doesn't use iCloud, but rather now its own cloud sync service for which you have to repeatedly pay. On top of that, I spent ages looking for a migration path for my old drawings. None to be found in the app. And no support area of any kind on the product's website, just a sales pitch and nothing else. A formerly good product rendered to rubbish by vendor arrogance.
