When I get back to office it makes it very easy for my designers to transfer information to 3D drawings as being able to see as a photo image helps put everything into perspective. Primarily used in construction, it’s an excellent tool to record dimensions that will be covered by wall lining materials so structural items behind the wall lining can be located accurately at a later date when fitting off. One can store these photos with the measurements overlaid, group them within ‘job’ folders to later print, email or share with other stakeholders. I can not recommend it more highly!.Version: 6.09

✓ Great but some odd iconsUnfortunately the be measuring tool needs work, as do the others available. I measured a door 6ft or so away and was told it’s 66 feet high. Some icons aren't very intuitive and occasionally I still manage to not save some projects. There needs to be a double-safe "are you sure" option before not saving a project. Or even better, it should auto save. I'm not crazy on how type can go over type or lines when measuring width and height. Should automatically move over for readability. Text and line size should change colour automatically for readability too. Otherwise it's pretty invaluable for site surveys..Version: 6.08

✓ Great product with perfect interfaceI went looking for an app to do just this when I wanted to copy the design of a bed on display in a shop. I wanted to quickly take snaps of the important features and then add the dimensions I subtly measured. I ended up with an awful app (Sketches) that totaly failed. This app would have done a fantastic job then, and I'm now using it to have pics of my rooms with important dimensions on for when I go DIY shopping. Having the magnifier come up relative to your finger positioning the arrows is ideal and was missing on all other apps I tried. Well done on a well thought out, useful app..Version: 0

It is far better than a pencil and paper as you don't have to draw the object that you are measuring - you just take a photo of it on your iPhone and then superimpose the arrows and measurements (which takes seconds). When the object is complicated, that's great - taking a photo is much easier. I have created a number of projects using My Measures. Simply take a photo or load from your library, 2 finger touch gets a set of arrows on the image, line them to the correct position and add the measurements with ease, and viola, you have a working drawing to take to builders merchants, or email to suppliers of curtains, decking, carpets, footings...to name just a few. ✓ My Measures is a Winner!At first I thought this would be too basic for me, but I was curious and tested the lite version and thought it was OK....but as it turns out, I cant recommend this App highly enough! Being in the building industry, I have found this a really useful tool for documenting photos with notes and measurements, and have been able to quickly take a photo of building details that I then shoot off to my team. All those time where I would do sketches on walls, or on a scrap of timber to give to my guys is a thing of the past! Now they get actual photos...with notes - measurements - it's really great!!! Gets sent to their Phones by MMS and they know exactly what I want. Can I ask the App developers to consider a few more tools? Such as: ~ dash/broken lines ~ curved lines / arrows ~ Folders within folders? Looking forward to more updates :-).Version: 2.31

I am being forced to upgrade because the old version is 32 bit and will not work under iOS 11. Got excellent support on how to export my projects and import them into the current app. It worked and the file format is compatible. I am delighted! The old version used iCloud syncing, which was free. The new one requires a subscription to sync, but I can do it manually via my Mac, which is good enough given I do not use the app often..Version: 6.07

We sell custom closets and closet fit-outs and I use sitution photos of new jobs with dimensions to give our installers an idea of the existing onsite conditions so that they know what they will be working with before they get there. It also allows them to forsee any potential problems upfront. The latest additions of angular and text notations are a perfect addition.. but would also love to see in a future upgrade.. 1) the ability to indicate the diameter or radius of a circular or semi-circular object. To identify a radius maybe just use a leaderlin with an arrow on one end and the text string on the other end in the form of 'Rad 754mm', or in the case of a diameter just use an existing point to point dimension but with the prefix 'dia' before the number string, i.e. 'dia 1450mm' 2) Would also love to have an option to save a photo in Greyscale as well as colour as it is sometimes so much easier to read coloured dimensions on a greyscale image. I also us the software to take photos of hand drawn sketch plans to which I can then add couloured dimensions. Thanks heaps for this software and keep up the great work!!!!.Version: 0
