The only way you can solve it is by trial and error so it's a real let down for sudoku experts. That level needs looking at again. Why do they insist on making major changes to a good app? In whose opinion is this an improvement? The new “retro” option now has white numbers on a dark background. This is not retro. Retro means leaving it just like it was! I now find it to be very hard on the eyes and difficult to use. Reply to developer response - 3.7.9 is the problem. ✓ Good app but using notes is cumbersomeKnocking of two stars for the notes feature. It is very cumbersome to fill out the cells with notes. There should be a feature to convert notes to actual entries. I mostly play the Diabolical level and almost always need to use notes. A few users have pointed this out but the issue persists. ✓ Dark Mode Is Bad Mode 👎This app was great, but a few days ago they changed their themes to display very very dark when the device is in dark mode. It's so dark that you can barely see the lines defining the cells (if at all). There is no option to use the previously available light themes when the device is in dark mode. Now to play this game I have to turn off dark mode on the device, and turn dark mode back on again when I'm done. This is a PITA and eliminates being able to play a spontaneous game. It's a shame they ruined a very nice game by making it too dark to play..Disappointed BirdsVersion: 3.7.8
