Amazing app can’t fault it!I’ve been doing slimming world for months and it is working but I just can’t get on with their behind the times app! I am on my phone all the time I needed something that suited me.. who wants to track all their meals with a pen and paper in 2019?! So when I heard how good weight watchers is I had to give it a try and wow this app is amazing. It’s so simple! There is an option to scan barcodes of food, everything is easily explained. There is also a section similar to Instagram so you can see how everyone else is getting on and the best part is the wide range of recipes that are not complicated. This app is going to make my weight loss journey so much more successful. I’m annoyed I stayed at slimming world for so long when this was so easy to start..Version: 7.15.0

A little disappointingWhere are the weekly trackers? It’s not much different to an easy diet diary I used to use. Also I am a lifetime member from way back yet there is no credit given for this even when you reach goal weight. Disappointing. I’m hoping something comes in the mail. Have been going to ww for six weeks now and I feel a wee bit ripped off. As a lifetime member I am ineligible for the key ring and charms because I have done this before yet I never got anything for it before. It’s hard when you’ve lost 8 kg and some new member has lost 3 and gets a gift for it in front of you. I like the app, and love that I can put all my old ww recipes into the recipe builder for their current points value (sp)..Version: 7.9.1

What and why I like about WW.OK! I’m about 3 weeks into my 2nd round of ww. Not much weight to lose because I got to goal last time, but some health issues have led to some flab piling on again. I hated the app when I first got it - it’s quite complex and with nothing to explain how to do things I was completely lost at first. Old-fashioned trial-and-error helped and now I’m mostly on top of it. Now I think it’s great and a fabulous tool for people like me who like to figure things out for themselves. An e-mail with a down-load-able, printable file on “what-to-press to get-to-where on the app” would be extremely helpful, especially for newbies like me who are generally computer-literate, but not maybe particularly I.T.-savvy. What I like about WW is that it gives its members skills in not only how to lose weight, but in coping with the stresses of day-to-day as well as how to choose what we eat more carefully to stay healthy, which ultimately will see more of us being less of a drain on the health system. WW app and virtual meeting roomsThe app is good. I struggle with accountability, finding it hard to track daily with my busy schedule. I was extremely disappointed when WW decided to shut down the meeting room I have attended and received tremendous support from for the past 5+ years. Kathy Edmonds, our coach in Woodstock and Strasburg, VA was phenomenal. It was her leadership that kept me and so many other members on track and coming back week after week or for lifetime like me, monthly. I made an effort to attend as often as I could, but definitely monthly when we went virtual. I cannot and do not feel comfortable with a new coach who does not know me nor who has invested her time and energy into my journey. When WW decided to shut down Kathy’s workshop, they literally pulled the rug out from underneath us and shut our support system down. For a business that touts support, WW has cut our support in this rural area in VA. I cannot travel 70 miles round trip to weigh in when this pandemic is over and that is what Kathy’s members will have to do. So, please help us out and return Kathy’s workshop to us! I’ll continue using the app and trying hard to be successful, but I’d feel so much better making this journey with my friends who were a part of Kathy Edmonds workshops in Woodstock and Strasburg, VA. So easy to use and trackI love this app. I have only been using it for 1 week but it has made trying to lose weight fun. I love it so much that my Mum has signed up. I love that there are meditations, recipe options, zero point recipes to help guide you on days your getting close to your limit. Tracking is easy and if you connect your Apple Watch/Fitbit/Garmin it tracks your fit points for you. I feel like WW app if going to be the tool I need to shift my 6-7kg. I’ve already lost 1kg and feel like this could be a tool I use for life. Other diets I feel like I am starving myself, I feel like WW forces you to eat the good nutrient dense foods for 0 points. Easy useful app!This app is so easy to use and navigate! It’s never frozen up or given me problems (which is amazing in app world). I really like the iPad version but that could be because it’s a bigger screen and the keyboard makes typing in for tracking easier. The phone app is great when grocery shopping because I can pull up the barcode scanner and see the points associated with different foods. That feature has saved me from buying things that I thought would have had lower points than they did. I also love all the recipes so readily accessible on the site. I star my favorites and also add my own recipes so I can keep track of them as well. Looking up meal points by restaurant name is a cool feature but there are many popular places in my area that aren’t included in the list of restaurants so that’s probably the least useful feature of the app for me. If they expand it to include regionally popular restaurants, then it would be more beneficial to me. But, I try to fix my own food at home for the most part so really, this app is excellent for helping me be mindful about what I’m eating along with my activity level..Version: 7.11.0

WW worksWW is much more holistic, it is about developing a healthy mind as well as a healthy body. As well as the usual counting of points and activity for weight loss, there are now guided walking and exercise videos, articles on how to manage stress eating and access to some Headspace meditations that can help stop us becoming demotivated or giving in to our cravings. There is also a social media part called connect where you can be inspired by others, share help or recipes, and ask for advice from others on the plan. The recipes are really tasty you cannot believe they could be “diet” food. It has helped me lose almost 3 stone and to stop overeating and turning to food when stressed. Easy trackingLove this app as I can keep track of my points through out the day it also helps me when I’m buying products in the shops I’ve put quite a lot back on the shelf when I see how much sugar is in certain goods that I used to buy also noticed I’m loosing weight steadily now when I was coming to a standstill before. The recipes are great for both me and my husband. Also when eating out I’m making healthier choices the app has been a great encouragement to me I am hoping I’ll get back down to my target weight before my next holiday. Best weight loss app!Never thought I would be the size I am now! 27kg gone in 8 months. First signed up to the 3 month plan as I thought it wouldn’t work and didn’t want to commit to something that I thought would be useless. After 8 months on it, I have now changed over to the 12 month plan as I hope to reach my goal weight in the next 4 months but want to keep tracking and stay in good habits. Love it - but it could use some tweaksI love the WW app. It does make following the plan so much easier and fun as the say. I can updated at work or check points sometimes when I am out. There are a couple features that are missing from the app though. I would like to be able to label and save a meal so I do not have to enter the separate components each time I eat it. You can only label and save meals on the Internet site. Also, scrolling back through dates is a pain. You have to go through each day, one by one. They need to make it so a calendar pops up like on the Internet site so you can easily jump to and view a previous date. WW is a great program that works and this app helps me searchable and tracks and stay on course. * Above components have been improved. Having trouble now with teaching ahead. When I swipe right to track on a future date, it works correctly with first food and then puts all the following foods on today’s date. *Updating barcodes from grocery and updating restaurants is so important for WW to do now with so many 0-point foods on Purple, the calculator is not accurate.Version: 9.1.1

Nothing is perfectThe app is a helpful tool to have on the journey of living a healthy life. For all the good things there are some things that need fixing/tweaking. The barcode scanner is great. I'm not sure if there is maximum number of foods that can be stored in the scanned list but foods that I've previously scanned are not there. Tracking foods/meals is easy. Having frequently used items is convenient. Reviewing previous entries is a bit of a pain. You have to scroll, slowly, back through EVERY DAY instead of just going to a specific day. Having a water tracker on the home screen would be helpful. I use another app to keep me on track with water consumption. The weight tracking feature is good. The auto generated messages are cute and encouraging. The WW social media outlet, Connect, is like going to a meeting whenever you want! But....after using other (FREE) media outlets, certain features are expected. The ability to see things you've liked would be helpful. To "refresh" your feed requires scrolling, manually, back to the top!🙄. I'm committed to my lifestyle change so I'll continue to use the app..Version: 8.7.0

Good AppI mostly love this app but I do get frustrated that it only goes with internet and mine often cuts out so leaves me not being able to keep track! Going into Christmas confidant and sexy at nearly sixtyThis app and the ability to tailor the programme to include the foods I like has worked so well for me. The app is all I needed. The excess weight just dropped off. I love the bar scanner which tells me immediately which foods work with the programme. I like tracking my weight. I love the recipes. Highly recommend the app. I am nearly 60 going through menopause and dropped 17.5 kgs easily. It just worked for me..Version: 9.0.0

Activity sync issueWhen you have a workout listed in activity the other steps for the day don’t sync it shows them as zero steps. Also it often blanks out other days in the activity tracker and I have to keep re-syncing to fill them all in. Often I find that the points earned in activity tracker can be disjointed as they don’t come out logically eg. 4000 steps earned 3 points but 3000 steps earned 5 or 6 points. That’s illogical earning more points for less steps!! How do I report this issue? There is no ability to report issues to developers from within the app. That’s a real flaw in design. The other aspects work quite well for daily food tracking etc. I hope you take these issues Into consideration in the future updates as they are really very frustrating..Version: 6.13.1

Such a handy tool!I’ve used the app for 5 weeks now and it is such a help with tracking food consumption, figuring out allowable points for food and for support. I love the scanner - so clever - and Connect is a great community for people who are all on their personal journeys, be they big or small, long or short! My wonderful coach GwynAs a lifetime member of WW since 1989 I’ve never wanted to pay for the app as I’ve been at goal for so long I just didn’t think it was worth the money but since lockdown and gaining more weight than I have for a long time and with no face to face meetings I just had to bite the bullet and pay up. Took advantage of a really good offer and now with Gwyn M. as my virtual coach and friend I’ve got back to goal in just over two months. I just love the app I track everything I eat and drink. Love the virtual meeting we have on a Friday. VictoriaI really like the app, and being able to scan foods in the supermarket for their points value, but the monthly fee is way, way too much for what you get. No meetings and a useful app doesn’t make a weight loss program. I’m a lifetime member since 1972, and an age pensioner, and I struggle to pay the monthly fee. It should cost a lot, lot less! Maybe have an app where you can opt for some features and not others. Very usefulI find this app very useful particularly when I’m in the supermarket and I want to scan items. Not everything is on there but in general I am able to view most things. One thing that is a bit confusing is when you’re trying to add something to your meal, for example let’s say tinned tomatoes. There will be about 6 different options, some saying 0 flex points whereas others will say 3, which one do I choose. I have to eat gluten free food as I am a Coeliac so cannot eat the majority of ‘ready meals’ that are available to everyone else as they contain wheat or barley etc, so I get very confused when making say a spagbol from scratch. My recipe is pretty basic, mince, tinned tomatoes, passatta, mushrooms and loads of herbs. The only flex points I can get are for raw lean minced beef, what is it when it’s cooked? However, that’s just a little blip and I am able to track the majority of the foods I eat so well done..Version: 6.2.0

Love itI have been using this app for over a month and it is brilliant and working. I know that for me the only way to lose weight is to record it and this really encourages me. I have tried other plans but WW really works with the help of the app. To be able to scan in a supermarket (frustrating if there is no signal) is fantastic and I have chosen more carefully as a result. Some things that look “innocent” get scanned and put back quickly. In general I cook from scratch so it is an easy thing to put a recipe in to check and then record. I agree a few tweaks would be the cherry on the top. To be able to edit saved meals would really help but in general I am finding the journey so much easier with this little helper with me..Version: 7.22.1

Game changer for weight lossI am really enjoying this weight loss platform. It is easy to use, allowing privacy to lose weight at your own pace without fear and shame that can come from “public weigh-ins” and yet allows you to be as connected as you want with others in the Weight Watchers community. BrilliantI am a WW gold member & I use this daily to track my food, activity as I have linked this to my fit bit. I Love the ease of using this app especially the support from other connectors, enjoy the before & now photos which are truly inspiring & the shared recipes from other members and the WW recipes. Also, there are members who are so helpful & share how to do things such as hooping if you were interested in buying a weighted hoop which I did after seeing videos on here on how well it tones your stomach etc but there is so much more on here, definitely worth the monthly subscription 👌 By retaining my monthly subscription having got back down to my goal weight - this keeps me accountable and this time round I am maintaining my weight as opposed to losing it, stop WW, then pile it back and and start the cycle etc, by using this app daily I’m keeping my weight off. I know from past experience if I cancelled this subscription I would end up back where I started so it’s a godsend to me 👏.Version: 8.12.2

Rude Customer ServiceMy mom gifted me a year long subscription to help get into shape for when my husband gets home from the Navy. When I opened the app, it insisted on me only paying through iTunes and would not allow me to just put in card information like other apps. Because of this I had to add my moms card info into my iTunes account and set it up at primary. This is irritating because what ends up happening is either I’m paying for the subscription myself (with my card being primary), or she ends up paying for any apps/music subscription/anything already connected to my iTunes Pay (with her card), which is completely ridiculous in my opinion. I called customer service to see if there was a way I could just set a payment method for the app itself and not through any other accounts. The lady I talked to was very rude. Was cutting me off while I was talking, repeatedly told me that it was “not her problem,” and transferred me to iTunes who still were unable to help me because they can’t have cards in iTunes pay that are primary for only some things but not others. I still don’t have any resolution and I wish there was something I could do about this as it seems like it should have been an effortless thing to set up. Even if it is through iTunes pay, maybe have an option to “gift an account” so a different payment method could be used. Very disappointed and sad that I have to make this review without even having the opportunity to really try the program..Version: 7.17.0

Weight Watchers appI have been a member of Weight Watchers for a while now. It has helped me to loose weight and get to my goal before. However I do think that there is some improvements that could be made to it. It gives the option to ‘save meals’ but unfortunately it does this inaccurately. If I try to save my lunch as being 6 smart points (2 slices of Weight Watchers bread, 55g Sainsbury’s sandwich filling I have chicken or fish and 10g Flora (low fat) it is only accurate when I enter it manually in the app but not if I try to save it as a meal. For some reason it then only saves it as 3 smart points, which only includes the Weight Watchers bread and the flora spread and not the sandwich filling for example. It will not allow me to edit it either so that I can add any other foods that would need to be pointed like the sandwich filling. Also while I enjoy trying the recipes on it but I have noticed that it does not have the feature to be able to suggest substitute ingredients should I not be able to get something or not have enough of it. Also it would be helpful if it there was the option to be able to recalculate the quantities of the ingredients and points so that any recipe could be made for just one person..Version: 7.20.0

Easy peasy lemon squeezeyDecided it was time to lose those pounds that creep on. Couldn’t commit to a meeting so thought I’d try online. The App is awesome. I always have my phone with me so I can scan or log food immediately. It calculates food, exercise & tools over any unused points you may have into your weekly allowance which makes it at a glance easy to see what you have left! I’ve connected it to my Fitbit so it automatically converts my steps into fitpoints. I used the online chat facility too, got instant response to my queries on the diet & the app. Donna was very knowledgeable. Only on day 4 but it seems light years ahead of the classes & scraps of paper I used to use when I last joined WW about 10 years ago. Please stop the motivational messagesI am finding the app really useful for tracking food, activity, weight etc. I love the fact it synchronises with my Fitbit. Saving recipes is really useful. It’s a bit light on initial content about how it all works - it took me a while to understand activity points. Some of the logic needs fixing ie you are given weekly points so that you can eat more on some days but then if you eat more than 1/7 of your weekly points in one day, you don’t get your dot - so you’re discouraged from using them as intended? Finally, I hate the patronising, ‘motivational’ messages that appear while the app is loading - please either de-personalise them or provide an Off switch. Thanks..Version: 8.14.0

Upgraded My WW + AppThe improved app is very good, itI is much easier to navigate around, and to pin the connect groups you choose to follow. The rearrangement of the carousel, means you can find most of the items for registering, from the main page. The links to the App Basics and Healthy Body, Healthy Mind timetables are easy to find. The four pillars of food, activity,mindset, food and sleep are all there to be fully explored. The main my day page is fully supported for registering food, mindset, and sleep, and the link to register activities is just the next tab at the top of the my day page, it is all easy to use, and you can even link your Fitbit or Apple health devise, to automatically register your Fit Points..Version: 9.1.0

Got me to Goal 🥅🎉Weight watchers is a brilliant plan. I have followed it for years, but having the app on my phone has really changed things for me. It's easy to use on the go, the food database is extensive, and it's easy to scan and add new products, so you can be mindful before you buy and try. Connect is an amazing tool also- the support from this online community is worth every penny of my monthly membership. Now I've finally reached my goal weight, I am now a free member, but choose to pay to keep the app so I can keep tracking and access to the online support and recipes! Easy when you are out and aboutThe WW app makes tracking easy when out and about. The bar scanner is great and being able to create foods to check points helps makes better shopping decisions. It just lacks the ‘quick add’ function. I track everything I eat including points free foods, eg fruit, and would like to be able to add them the way I can on the website rather than look up individual items. WW appWW has really transformed diet management with the WW app. If one is serious about understand food and how it affects one’s weight, then this is for you. However, if transferring ownership of what you eat to say: Nutra-System or say Jenny Craig is what you desire, then forget ever making a supermarket a place of visitation. Those previous diet systems choose what you eat, when you eat, and it is almost without the user ( that’s you ) having input. Plus, like the Eagle’s Hotel California, you can check-in anytime you want but you can’t ever leave. That’s because the food is portioned, selected, and packaged per firm by their dietitians. WW is different. With this app and understanding the daily allowance of food accumulation ( known as points ), you accept total control of your food intake. Nothing is off the menu. Surely this lifetime arrangement surpasses anything Hotel California diets can offer. Make your goal weight and the app is forever and it’s free. The best of both worlds ... having one’s cake and eating it too. Plus, visits to supermarkets are part of the fun. It did take me a bit to work into daily tracking but I am sold. My safe placeNo matter what I need whether it’s encouragement, inspiration, a venting place, a place to share my successes and my struggles, the community that has been created via WW Connect is nothing short of amazing. It’s the salve to everything that is awful about social media. The app keeps getting better and easier to track any food, get recipe ideas, restaurant menus, even see other foods people have created and logged. Activity is tracked as well and you can set any goal you want. My favorite things are: #1 barcode scanner and #2 blue dots. To explain, there are tens of thousands of food items in the WW databanks with points values available for your reference. Immediately upon scanning, you can choose the weight or measurement of that food item and instantly log it in your daily tracker. If I see someone else at the grocery store scanning barcodes with their phone, we can’t help but smile and nod at each other. 😁 The blue dot is a daily “at-a-glance” look at whether you are eating within your healthy points range. Water tracker needed!I like the app but would love to get a water tracker integrated into the my day overview. It would be so helpful! App needs some improvementThe app is convenient for tracking your points & keeping you accountable. It’s efficient when paired with your fitbit. App now tracks your sleep, but why do I have to manually enter information that could be synced from my fitbit? The food list search feature is the biggest weakness of the WW app, in my opinion. Example: If I want to track a hamburger patty, I have to know that I must search ground beef instead of hamburger or I will get a long list of restaurant burgers, meatless burgers, chicken burgers , etc. Items are not sorted, so I have to keep clicking on “more”, only to see that my requested food is not listed. My suggestion would be to have a filter for a basic food items and one for restaurant food. If I am making myself a burger patty at home, the first thing I want to see is hamburger patty-plain, then maybe hamburger patty with egg & breadcrumbs, etc. I constantly have no choice but to pick a restaurant food to log my meals because the basic item is not there. The food list needs much work and I do know there’s an option to add foods myself. I don’t believe it’s the job of the customer to add foods and enter accurate ingredient values for use of all the other customers. Very easy to useBoth my husband and I started WW on January 1st, 2019. I decided that if I was going to start WW...AGAIN (for about the 7th time!) that there was no time better than starting on January 1, new year, new me! My goal is to stay on it for the entire year - something I had failed to do in the past. So far, so good! I love the app because it makes my tracking so easy! I simply enter the food I am eating to find the points and the calculations are done for me. I also love how easy it is to track activities. Using the app has made following the plan simple and I think has helped to keep me on track to reach my goal weight. To date, I have lost 17.4 pounds and my husband has lost 30! In addition to weight loss goals, my husband is close to being taken off blood pressure medication and I am hoping to lower my cholesterol and blood sugar numbers - and then avoid starting any medications! There are so many other benefits to the app that one can choose to use: recipes, connections with other WW members, meditation and activity resources,etc. It has a multiple scope of resources to help one achieve success. Program works but don’t ask customer service for help.The program absolutely works. I’ve lost 40 pounds and wanted to apply for lifetime membership, because of COVID all of the WW locations in my area are closed. To date I have spoken to 3 representatives and 3 supervisors and was told something different from each one. The rules are that you have to lose 5 pounds after reaching goal and cannot weigh more than 2 pound more in each of your weekly visits however how do you do that if everything is closed and you cannot weigh in. I was told that there was a way to bypass this and that they would help me do this but since no one seems to know what they are talking about I do not trust anyone in customer service. There is also a problem with the way points are generated. Sometimes when you type in the product and it gives you a point rating, I have found it different when I scan the product itself. I have also found a problem with purchasing products as I have received bad product from time to time and when I tried to email customer service I never received a reply. My Recipes section in app needs helpWhile adding recipes to the app you are able to put preparation instructions for each ingredient, ie chopped, divided (ingredient used in 2 separate places/ amounts in recipe), separated (eggs). The problem is that when you look at the recipe to actually make it, none of those prep instructions appear. Another thing is you have to put the total amount of an ingredient instead of putting it in twice. For example, a recipe has a topping that you make separately from the main part, but both the main part and the topping use sugar. With the problem I mentioned first, even if you put in the prep instructions that the amount of sugar is divided, this instruction doesn’t show up unless you click on each specific ingredient as if you were editing the recipe. I understand that the recipe section isn’t made to be your recipe box, it’s just so you can get the points value of a serving. It’s just annoying to have to add 2 different amounts of an ingredient together before inputting it; then if you should use the recipe in the app to make it in the future, you aren’t able to see that the amount shown is a TOTAL rather than 2 separate amounts..Version: 7.11.0

Everything you needThis app has everything you need at your fingertips. I haven’t found any issues with logging or finding the right food that others have mentioned, which put me off joining. There are heaps of recipes at your fingertips that you can automatically track a serving and the community is right there whenever you need a pick me up. This app is my go toThe app is like my own coach in my pocket! It’s saved me on more than one occasion. It’s user friendly , with loads of features, tips, hints, recipes, click to chat options with coaches and a whole community of connectors at your fingertips. Brilliant!I love this app - it has made tracking and planning my points so easy that I have hardly felt like I have been on a 'diet'. There are a couple of things though, that I think could be improved. One being the way you have to scroll through the numbers in the 'grams/oz/portions etc.' part of the tracking screen. If this could be a basic number input (like a calculator) I think it would be quicker and easier to use. It would be help if there was a water tracker too - this would be great to see as part of the my day screen. Also, I would love it if there was a way to receive notifications for Connect, just like you can with Instagram/Facebook. Could be improvedI’ve used this for a while and it’s definitely better than it was. A greater range of things on there (although the search function never seems to work, even if you write the correct name) and it just seems easier to operate. However inputting numbers is really a pain. I want to input values in hundreds of grams because a “portion” is meaningless and seems pretty tiny when you look at the calories. You have to scroll instead of typing to input numbers on food presumably because it’s American and people there use imperial measurements but this is pretty tedious and frustrating for we Europeans. It’s also annoying that you can’t input your exercise more precisely - it only asks for time and intensity, and only low/medium/high. I’d like to be able to input the distance I’ve run over what time - this would show the difference in effort more precisely. I don’t have and don’t want a Fitbit. It’s not really designed for people who take exercise seriously. It would also be better if weight watchers could spend some time inputting the correct calculations of popular foods in restaurants and supermarkets etc to take account of the “zero” food in them - like in eg a chicken salad sandwich, because eating out is more difficult to accurately self calculate now there are more zero foods. AWESOME app - keeps me on trackThis app contains SO MUCH information and functionality. It keeps me on the straight and narrow without having to write everything down that I eat and drink in a separate book. I also don’t have to carry around various books containing the points info for supermarket shopping or when eating out. It’s updated regularly. The app has access to an ‘online coach’ who is a real person on the other end - even at 3am!! WW Australia takes over at that time. The ‘Connect’ groups are great for ideas and support from other, normal folk, also in WW and on the same weight loss journeys. The WW x Headspace is brilliant. Helps you be more mindful so you are aware of what you are putting in your mouth. Then there’s the Get Active not which can connect with your fitness app, counting steps and converting into fitness points for you. These are just some of the features - the ones I use anyway - there are more!! This is a fantastic app that really tries to be the best support it can be for you in between your WW classes..Version: 7.18.0

Needs more updating for flexI track everything on the app. But barcode points for create your own don’t appear to have Been updated to account for the changes made in flex. Quite frustrating. Especially if you know the food had zero item foods like eggs in it, but create your own just goes off the nutritional information and doesn’t account for this. Also, since the last update the barcode scanner part of the app keeps freezing. And is anyone going to check the nutritional values of foods that have changed since flex was introduced. You’re a multi million dollar company, surely you can sort this out otherwise the app isn’t doing what it promises - eg search for brooklea 0% Greek yogurt and the first one that comes up says it’s got points but further down the list is the 0SP one. Liking this appI rejoined WW last year at this time and didn’t like the Smartpoints or this app so I did my own thing, just got weighed at the group but still got to goal. Here I am a year later and after having a fall I’m back again at WW online only. Well I don’t know what’s happened to my mind over this year but I absolutely LOVE this app now. I love using the WW appI have two issues with the app that I find causes some frustration. The first is the variation in the measurements used for food items some are grams some are spoons some are serves I find it frustrating it is not consistent. The second thing is the items added by other uses such as when you scan there are so many errors on theses items and I think if the fields required were more structured ie every item info must be the 100 ml or gram info off the nutrition panel it would be more accurate and not left to the individual user to decide what qty they use..Version: 7.14.0

Weigh To GoI have been to Weight Watchers a few years back and always struggled with the point system. I mostly just lost my weight by watching what I ate and working out. Club members always talked about the point system and how they loved it and I would sit there and listen and not say anything about my confusion with the points. I joined again two weeks ago, and this time I love using the WW app. I don't have to worry about counting the points as it does it for me. It took me a week to figure it out and watched some UTube videos to help me. I love how I can put in my own receipes, check favorites and there it is. I love how my Garmin sync's and shows my fit points and takes off a few points. I have tried a few of their receipes as well. I am not into the chats but this app makes my life of trying to lose weight a much happier experience..Version: 5.16.0

Great app but......I have been following weight watchers for some time now and am finding the app very useful. I love that I am able to link the app with my Fitbit so I can see my fit points adding up. I also love the support from other members via connect and like being able to scan foods while I’m doing the shopping so I know the points before I buy. However I find when I use the scanner a lot of the information is from members not WW and there are often lots of different points values for the same foods so I have to use the calculator anyway. Also I would like to be able to track my water intake as this really helps my weight loss and I am currently using a separate app for this..Version: 6.7.0

Loving this appI was always happy with the pp program and lost weight quickly. How ever I’m loving the new sp recipes ect. I started with the blue sp in January and even though I’ve lost the weight more slowly, I feel much better for it and have a greater understanding of why things have changed. DifficultiesThe app is mostly very good, it is helping me lose weight. It isn’t intuitive, but maybe that’s because I’m a long time Apple user! I find that it is hard to discover all its uses with the limited time I have to devote to it. That said I ask other people and get some good answers but it should be self evident from day one. I have been using it for 6 months and am still trying to find things that I’ve needed over those six months. It is too long a process to enter the nutritional details of everything I make from scratch for my own recipes so I would still like to be able to find the points for things like, 4 oz pudding rice, 4 ozs. potatoes etc. Overall, I would rather have it than not, as long as it keeps on improving. The best part of the app is the overwhelming positivity of all the “weight watchers” that constantly post information, good tidings and compassion for, what is a first world, modern day problem, obesity. I include myself in this observation but have hopes to improve with the app..Version: 9.5.0

Restaurant section ideasI wish the restaurant section didn’t have the name of the restaurant at the beginning of every single item listed. It is time-consuming to read long descriptions just to find the few things I’m interested in. Since I’m already looking at a specific restaurant, it could say, “Strawberry Salad (half),” instead of, “Panera Bread Strawberry...” Sometimes it’s difficult to find items in the restaurant section. So, I wish I could sort the items by lowest to highest points and also by apps, entrees, sides, desserts & drinks. I wish I could see my remaining daily & weekly points when I’m looking in the restaurant section. It would also be nice if it could keep a tally of how points I would use if I chose certain food items. Like maybe putting a little checkmark next to each thing I might get, with a little running total, and then a “submit” button of sorts. That way I could keep track of my running total instead of clicking back & forth from that section to “my day” several times as I’m deciding what I will order..Version: 7.17.0

ThanksI have gradually been increasing in weight over years and haven’t known how to be truly accountable for every morsel that I put into my body. So many foods have so many more points than I would have thought, so this app is highlighting to me just where I can change my eating habits. First real app that visibly holds me accountable for what I eatI love this app. I have struggled with weight loss for over ten years now. Well I guess you can’t really struggle when you haven’t put forth an effort of trying to lose weight. However, this app is helping to change my mindset and the ways that I usually eat. I’ve been so used to eating whatever I wanted when I wanted that I forgot about the consequences. I was a gymnast for fifteen years and nationally ranked judo player for years but my mentality was that of, “I’ll keep this fit body forever.” Well it turns out you are what you eat. So it is the new year of 2020 and I have started this weight watchers program and intend to use it to get to my goal of 90 pounds lost. This app helps me see what I can and cannot eat and what I should eat less of. The point system visually lets you know that the choices you make are ones that will either benefit you or break you. So I choose wisely. We are in this together and this app has the community to back it up. Couldn't live without it but .......I love the app!! I track, I scan, I sync, I Connect. However I hate the latest update!!! I want to be able to easily look through previous days and weeks to see what went well. I used to be able to just flick back a day. Now I have to scroll the date bar, pick a day, click on that day then repeat to see the next one. Irritating!! Then to make it worse I can no longer see a whole days food on one page! I have to click on each individual meal! Beyond irritating! We don’t just use the app to log food! It is our diary to look back over, to find out what went well and what didn’t. It may look more aesthetically pleasing but it does not help us at all. That said the app is generally fantastic. Latest update is rubbishI use this app multiple times a day, I rely on it to keep me on track but the update to version 5.18 is awful. The meals tracked are no longer easily visible, although I do like seeing the total by meal, my favourites no longer includes my most frequently tracked foods. It is also harder to go back to previous days, and I absolutely hate the blue dots bing on the 'My day' screen, some of the names of the foods are also no longer displaying properly meaning that you have to go into the food to find the full name and see if it the correct food rather than being able to use the swipe to track food nation. Finally the app seems to be much more unstable since the update meaning I have to frequently restart it. Probably the worst update of any app ever..Version: 5.18.0

Great but WW Connect needs tweakingTo the developer: I love this app and I love WW Connect but...I hate that I can’t open, enlarge or zoom in on any of the photos in my newsfeed. I hate that I can only see tiny thumbnails of member’s profile pics and once again I can’t select and enlarge their images. I keep forgetting and trying to click on pictures and it’s just so disappointing. I know it’s not meant to be social media but is there any way to build in this functionality? So many recipes are inaccurateI love all aspects of the app but the recipes drive me crazy. They have not been worked on thoroughly enough, which is annoying as I am paying for them! Very often an ingredient will be in the list but you’re not told what to do with it or even more annoying something won’t be in the ingredients list but in the method you’re told to use it. You don’t know how much to use and more importantly the points haven’t been taken into account. The photos aren’t entirely correct. I have even come across notes in brackets saying ‘( not sure that’s correct, retest)! This is such a shame - if you could rely on them they would be amazing. There’s so much variety. Finally, it would be so so helpful if it was possible for the recipes to be reviewed. When every meal is so important to a dieter, it would be a fantastic bonus.Version: 9.1.1

WW appI really like using the WW app. I have lost 8 kilograms, Met my goal weight, have maintained this weight loss and am now a lifetime member. The app keeps me accountable in tracking my points and recording my weight. However, what I love mostly in the app are the fabulous recipes. I hardly ever make the same recipe twice. The healthy recipes that I cook in bulk are the key to my success. My only criticism with the recipe section of the app is that it does not specify how to prepare ingredients. For instance I know I need 2 carrots but should I shred or chop them? Ok I see I need 6 tomatoes should I cut them into big chunks or dice them? The older version of the app used to specify but the latest leaves you wondering on every food item especially fruit & vegetables. Please correct this then I would gladly give 5 stars! I pay $27 a month for this app and feel for that price everything in the recipes should be crystal clear..Version: 7.16.0

A very carefully constructed way to lose weight.In order to keep my weight manageable I have signed up and attended Weight Watchers meetings many times over a period of around fifty years. Because I almost always succeeded with Weight Watchers I had great faith in the meeting psychology and the weekly weigh in. Even though the app has been around for a few years now I didn’t think an app could possibly be as successful and avoided ever using it. But the Covid 19 pandemic has meant no more WW meetings. And like many I have sadly stacked on too much weight during our mandated lockdown and felt a positive outcome of being locked up would be come out of it having lost those extra kgs. So I downloaded the WW app six weeks ago and have faithfully stuck with the tracking and weigh ins. I’ve been amazed at the power of the tracking. I am hooked! The data base of the food and meal options is very good. The recipes are great to turn to when your tried and true meal options are getting a little stale. The exercise options are terrific and the always constant and positive vibe is quite addictive. I enjoy the companionship of the community so much. I do love the app and the ease of tracking.However, a couple of months ago my app had a glitch. I called in and explained the problem to no avail. I was told I would just have to live with it. I would like to object to this because I feel I should get a correctly functioning app because I need it and also because I pay for it. I do not know my exact loss without looking but it is 31 or 32 pounds or so. Suddenly one day the app showed me loosing over 200 pounds and it showed this several times. If I had really lost as much as the app said I would not exist. When I called they looked at it and could not fix it. They told me to reboot my phone. I did and it did not work. They told me to delete the app which I did and once again it did not work. They said they could not fix it and that I knew how much weight I had lost and I would just have to keep track of it myself. I did not agree with this but did not think I could do anything to correct this so I just moved on. However this really is not fair and I feel you should do something to correct it. You have even sent me charms to celebrate the weight I have not lost. I hope someone really reads this but if you treat this the way I was treated over the mistake I do not have much hope. Best launch into a healthier you...This app and the programs you can choose from are an awesome way to launch into a new health routine. The recipes and ease at finding foods is second to none. Scanning food into the app is a breeze and the database of obscure foods that have been added by other WW members is really impressive. I found the speed at which I could log my previous meals was far faster than any previous app I had used before. The gamification of the point system is exactly what millennials like myself easily adhere to and crave. Above all the 24hr support was the most impressive feature of the entire app. Any question any time I had someone answering me via text chat within moments. The only place where I feel like the app let me down was how the programs view healthy fats like avocado, nuts, grass fed butters, olive oils, etc. I personally feel like these are healthy options that can be added to your diet in moderation with beneficial affects. However the severe point accumulation for eating one of these foods was prohibitive towards your daily goal. Other than that this is a smart, quick and easy way to get started and keep you going for your first 90 days or so..Version: 8.13.0

Before joining weight watchers it took 12 months to lose 40 pounds .Then I went off gained 12 pounds in 4 months. Joined weight watchers and lost 20 pounds in just 4 weeks ,without zero exercise except stretching in bed during commercials. All while eating more than double the amount of food then I could eat before . Good choices and not skipping is key!!! This is a permanent life style not a diet!!!Im leaving for a trip to south padre island and I’m bringing snacks and dressing with me ,So again no stress about what to eat ! My total success came because my wife realized she needed a life style change to!! It took me along time to get her to see that . But my thinking is better later than never!!! WW has been so thoughtful with this appWW set out to make a tool for their members. One that is all encompassing. Through their thoughtful and caring means, the end is divine. They considered food, activity, & mindset all in one app that not only covers each area but also equips each of us as we take on our journey to health, wellness and weight loss. With the ability to walk into a grocery store, scan a barcode and instantly know the “Points value” of a food, I can shop healthy and proactively without fear. I can also pair my activity tracker so I know the value of each activity I complete. WW also gives me the encouragement right in the app to stay on track and make lifelong habit changes that result in healthier living. ExcellentI had this app when it first launched and it was just ok. I’m back on WW now and the improvements are staggering. The connect feature is so excellent in terms of motivation. Seeing everyone’s progress (and struggles) is massively helpful on one’s weight loss journey. I would give it 5 stars but I’d like to see more sort options in the restaurant areas. For example if I go to a restaurant and want to search foods by points values it would be really helpful to see the lower point items first. Additionally if weight could sync with Apple health that would be very helpful. Right now I have to use a separate app that syncs my weigh ins with Apple health. It is nice to have them stored in both places. Update. It’s been maybe a year? I was not able to stick to the program. The tracking becomes too much for me and more than anything because of how my body responds I lose weight so incredibly slowly I lose motivation. In my 20’s WW worked and I had the motivation to keep going. When you lose roughly 1 lb per month it is just hard. Anyway. Good app, couple of thoughts -I’m finding the app really useful and rich in content - it’s easy to track, the food and database recipe is huge, and most foods have a couple of ways to count them, which makes it super flexible. It also syncs to my fitness tracker, a super helpful feature. There’s a couple of things that would knock it out of the park - 1) tracking water 2) somewhere to write down your goals (eg for a week or a day or whatever) and 3) somewhere to record your measurements..Version: 8.0.0

Amazing App!I never write app reviews but I feel compelled to write one for this one as WW deserve such praise for it. Honestly the best weight loss app out there and I thought nothing would beat MFP. Makes it easy to stay accountableI have done a range of diets through the years, including abig and lasting adjustment away from 252. During the big diet in 2001 which was amazing, i had to look up and calculate everything. This is so much more pleasant. Can scan food at grocery store for smarter choices (yogurt isle was shockingly revealing) have tons of free foods so its less focused on what you cannot have which can increase stress and more focused on what you can which is great. My only beef with WW is their adherence to the faulty BMI system when deciding what is a healthy weight range to see if you qualify for lifetime. I am not about to lose that much strength to play that game. I am actually rather sad about that as i have reached a very healthy goal that i never thought i would see again and was looking forward to the challenge of monthly weigh in’s to keep me on track. But...not at the sink in water weight they want me to maintain at. I can already stand at tge bottom of the pool comfortably. To lose an extra 15 in order to qualify fir lifetime is crazy stupid. BMI is a faulty system. The rest of the program is quite good. I am very glad i have done this. Will work at keeping it off..Version: 7.23.0

Helps keep me on track - free day idea also.Overall, this app helps me keep on track. I love the scanning capability. I don’t like the fact that when I type in “butter” into the search box, it comes up with eight different things before it says, “butter.” At least it does this on my ipad. On the computer, it didn’t seem to do it. Also in regard to searching, on a lot of items it seems like if you don’t type in the exact text that’s on the product you won’t find it. That’s annoying. I should be able to type in the general name of an item and be able to find it. Another thing I’m realizing isn’t helpful, I did switch to using fitness points instead of regular weeklies, but I didn’t lose a pound that week. So obviously you just need to at least stay within your weeklies to lose, and often not use your weeklies at all - at least with me. Just an idea - I just can’t do seven days a week, so I use my weigh-in day as a free day. I try not to go wild, but if I’ve been craving something, I go ahead and have whatever it is, split it with my hubby, perhaps. Might be cool to incorporate a free day, maybe it costs you one day’s worth of weeklies or something or it costs you prize points, like 50 prize points or both..Version: 7.14.0

When you consistently track - you do get results.This food program really works, but like anything, it only works if you use it properly. This app takes the difficultly out of knowing what you should have and how much of it too. However, the knowledge in your hand is only useful when applied. Stick to your daily point limits, use correct measuring tools (scales, measuring cups and spoons, etc), earn those blue dot days (great new feature to help you focus on moderation throughout the week) and you will succeed. But at the end of the day, you must be the one who changes, as great as the app and program are they cannot do that for you..Version: 7.20.0

Track happyThe app makes it so easy to keep on track, literally and figuratively. Being able to track your food and exercise quickly and easily ensures it gets done. The addition of the barcode scanner to scan food right in....pure genius. Having the ability to add food on the scanner by having the nutritional information pop up on screen has further simplified the process. Oh and last but not least, having the message boards available by a quick click on the app means that if I'm not happy with how I'm tracking, or if I have something to celebrate, I can get help or praise from people going through the same journey (or the online coaches).Version: 5.16.0

Almost ThereI have recently joined WW and am finding the App a very useful tool to track where I am. I do think though that there could be a couple of tweaks to make it better like being able to copy Thursdays tea to Fridays lunch would help me. I often take leftovers to work for my lunch and am finding I have to input the whole meal again. I do know you can create a meal and save it, but if I have for instance included rice in the meal I can't seem to be able to delete the rice from it if I use the meal again but don't have the rice. This all makes sense in my head! I also think it would be useful to have a track of the points earned from exercise remaining on the front page, it took me a while to find the activity page but do like to see the number going up each day. I have set my self activity goals which I am finding very useful. All in all a good App could be awesome with a couple of tweaks..Version: 6.1.2

Great app, but...Great app. I love it and depend on it. But the bugs are really frustrating. With quick adds, anything typed in with predictive text does not display - ongoing for a long time. Feels like my best friendOnly been using it for a few days, I spent 2 hours in the supermarket scanning everything I fancied some things were ridiculously high in points others were a nice surprise! Tracking my meals has been brilliant I feel sure through that I will begin to eat for one instead of 2! I had a nice surprise last night I went slightly over my points but my day remained on 0 because it took it off the weekly allowance psychologically that was great for me. Love the recipes section, I had a homemade pizza with a big salad last night, pizza is a meal I would never consider on previous diets and it felt very naughty and such a treat. I know what to eat and love fruit and veg but when not sticking to a ‘diet’ I eat all the wrong things, it’s early days but I really think with the WW app I’m am going to achieve my weight loss because as long as I track what I eat and drink I can have anything, feeling motivated positive and delighted, looking forward to my slimmer body later on this year!!! Major glitchesDon’t know why the app is so glitchy since upgrade. Doesn’t count fit points off Apple Watch anymore. I disconnected and reconnected like help center suggested but no better. Also my fit points just disappear. The exact same activity gets calculated with different values. For example 50 min cycling calculated at 6 points on one day and 12 on another. I can also eat well above blue dot limit and get blue dot. So frustrating..Version: 7.25.0

WW ReviewI love a lot of things about the app! The plan has been easy to follow, there are a ton of resources available, and the daily tracking have all helped me lose almost 47 lbs! One thing I don’t love about the app is the weekly canned responses - “Congratulations xxx! You stayed within your Budget several days this week and it paid off.” I faithfully tracked my food and stayed within my Budget for 6 solid months!!! I lost weight consistently every week~ to the same response every week. When I first started the response was a little varied, you’ve lost x% of your body fat, you’ve lost x lbs, way to go! I think that should continue throughout a person’s weight loss journey. I’m almost within a healthy ideal weight range and there’s no encouragement to get there other than the canned “Congratulations........” I’m almost at my goal weight and there’s nothing to push me to get there. I know I should not be motivated solely by the app but I think the matrix of the app could do better! What happens when I reach my goal weight? Do I just continue? You can see how you're doing in terms of exercise (by entering manually or syncing to your fitness monitors such as Fitbit or Apple Watch. You can monitor your daily food intake, check out the points value of a range of foods by scanning or entering your descriptions, check out the recipes section for ideas and most importantly of all, you can connect with our weight watchers who are inspirational, supportive and happy to share ideas and discoveries. Great but could do with improvementsThe app is great to keep motivated and on plan - I love the ‘connect’ feature which means you can interact with other people going through a weight loss journey as it’s really motivating! One thing I’d like to change about the app is when entering a food into a diary and selecting a measurement such as grams, you can’t just type in the number you need - you have to scroll all the way down on a menu before you get to a number! For example, if I’m measuring out 100g of pasta I have to scroll from 1 to 100, when if the app was edited to just have a numbers screen, I could type the number I needed in instead. This is really time consuming and could easily be fixed..Version: 6.10.1

Love the WW appJoined WW online/meetings 1-5-19. I have used the app every day since. I log every bite I eat including the zero point foods. I’m down 21.4 lbs. and use every aspect of the app, Including: connect, food check in, activity check in, recipes search, and food and recipe creations. I do have a few suggestions. I wish there was some consistency in the units of measure. I think all items should have teaspoon, tablespoon, cups, and ounces. Using serving as a unit of measure is very confusing. You have to look back into the recipe and see how much a serving is. If it’s for meatballs it should say two meatballs equals one serving etc. Additionally I suggest that you go through and load all of the recipes from all of the WW cookbooks that you have for sale and distribution. Many of the recipes in the Comfort Food by Eric Greenspan I could not find in the app. Stuffed cabbage for instance. Somebody on your team should load them all. Especially if you’re promoting the cookbooks. Finally I wish that connect would have the ability to do you more than side-by-side photos. It would be great if you could do a collage of four or five photos..Version: 7.9.1

So helpful and easy to use.I joined WW a few years ago and left to go to Slimming World. I found not having an app to help me made it really hard going and quite lonely at times. I’d have to wait to next meeting to find anything out. Cam back to WW and persuaded my husband to join to because of the App. I go to a group, he does it through the app. Support is brilliant From WW but also everyone else using. Great app but needs 2 more thingsWhat is needed in the cookbooks is the barcode for each recipe, so that you can just scan the barcode and track your meal that way. I made something from the cookbook last night but was unable to find the recipe when I searched for it. I had to manually enter the recipe and the points came out different/higher🤨The most important thing that this app needs is to pull in the data from my Garmin activity tracker as soon as it has been synced. It takes so long, so long, for my daily steps to be uploaded into the weight watcher app. It’s super frustrating😠.Version: 9.8.1

RobynSherrillI really enjoy the app and it certainly has helped me over the years to be accountable for what I put in my mouth. Seeing other members achieve their milestones is so encouraging too. My only problem is there are certain things that I touch on like the tiny numbers on the graph which don’t seem to go away and I have no idea what they for. Also in certain parts of the weigh in page I can’t scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and just see the beginning of a paragraph. Overpriced, needs improvementI decided to give Weight Watchers a try when they offered a reduced cost for an introductory period. I felt I needed a boost to my dietary regimen and also was looking for a way to improve my Type II diabetes numbers. I opted for the 6-month intro, and after 4 months I have, indeed, learned a lot and improved my health and lost weight. HOWEVER! I've also used My Fitness Pal for over 10 years, it's database is superior to the WW database, data entry is more intuitive, and virtually all the same types of community support options are available through MFP as through WW, but for a fraction of the price (if you opt for the MFP paid version, which I prefer to the free version). While using WW, I have simultaneously continued to use MFP, and will continue the lessons I've learned from WW but for much less cost. The WW interface is, I feel, lacking in functionality. I find myself using MFP first, and now only using WW as a check on my carb and fats intake. I've now adjusted my MFP daily nutritional goals to reflect the kinds of goals I learned from WW, so for the limited time I've used WW it was worth it, but not on a continuum..Version: 6.9.0

BrilliantAbsolutely fab app. Makes tracking super easy. really appreciated the 24/7 coach access when i was first starting out. missed out on a 5 because it would be great to have a food point ‘guesstimate’ function - i’m traveling in Europe at the moment and won’t be able to track as i’m eating lots of home cooked food which i can only guess at. also i was eating fairly healthily when i started and the standard changes i made to my diet made things worse 😳... I worked out what was happening and i’m loosing the small amount i need to now, but it would be good to have a way of checking eating habits to start with and maybe speaking to a coach at the start if you’re already eating fairly healthily. In the end all i needed to change was finding a low point, filling, quick breakfast, cutting out bread and eating a couple of zero point meals a week..Version: 7.14.0

Great overall, but search could be betterI am loving this app overall and have lost 25 lbs so far with ease. There are good recipes, and Connect is addicting! I do wish the search function for food would improve, though. For generic foods, like fruits and veg, it's great. However, the search for specific foods isn't great. Sometimes, nothing turns up, but when I scan the item, I see several members have added it despite it not turning up in my search. When it comes to restaurant food, I find only limited menu items are available, and if you opt for the non-meat version of a dish, God bless you because the app won't have it. This is one thing the MyFitnessPal app has over WW - I could find almost anything and estimate pretty well if I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I sort of wish WW could go do some recon on MFP and steal a few search ideas. The most frequently-added foods function could be better, too. The same food cannot appear under two different meals, and there is no multi-add option. The recipe search is a bit hit-or-miss as well. These are minor gripes overall, though. This app and program have allowed me to get my act together and even lose weight on vacation because it's all very livable..Version: 8.5.0

Great app , could use a few tweaks!Hey I love the app it helps so much on my weight loss journey, altho there could be some improvements (hopefully these can be taken on board) then this app would rock five stars! Firstly on the connect part when you leave a comment or reply there is no option to edit the reply only delete so is a pain if you make a spelling mistake as you have to re-wrote the whole thing and if people have already replied once you delete you also lose their replies, and also in those replies the option to add a picture would be great so you can show someone what you mean as opposed to writing it all out! And on the food diary/record bit if you could add the option to take a snap shot/photo of the food you have eaten at that particular time it would be so much better so when you are out you can just take a quick photo of your food and either calculate later for convenience or straight away but also have a visual record of your weekly meals! Also the option to record the food you have eaten all week and generate a list for when you do your shopping next week using the foods you consumed this week! Good for weight lossI’ve used this app to lose weight successfully. Love the connect section, reading others posts definitely helped me instead of going to a group. Love the recipes, love the way it swaps points, love the way it shows me what I’ve eaten, love the bar scanner. Areas for improvement in my opinion: always have to delete and re-install app after an update as it freezes on my iPhone X, agree with another app uses about the activity section - for example, sometimes I run fast, sometimes I have a slow run but app doesn’t distinguish so I feel activity points aren’t always correct. All in all, I love the app and couldn’t have manage my goal weight without it 👍.Version: 7.19.1

Love the App BUT 🔸Need Pic Zoom & 🔸Recipe Print✅💗 I absolutely love the WW app as it makes it easier to manage staying on the program. It allows me to quickly track, find point values and recipes and Connect with other ww members. Connect is one of my favorite features of ww as it offers support anytime, anywhere. Any of the wonderful people on there are quick to talk you down from going off track or talk you up from having a bad day. It also allows me to help others which allows me to help myself. I feel good being able to help others, and that adds to the ‘whole’ of the program. ❌ My only complaints are: 1️⃣ While recipes are quick and easy to find on the app and online, there is no way to print from the app at all (besides taking screenshots and printing the pics), & online it prints the entire webpage with all pics of Oprah and whatever else is on the side there. I love Oprah, but I really just want the recipe on the page. And although some say don’t print them it save trees, people are gonna print. Sometimes we have to. 2️⃣ I want to be able to enlarge the pics posted on Connect. I want to see things better. Life changing!!I was skeptical about WW, but then decided that I’ll never know if I never try. BEST choice in my life. The app is super handy and easy to use. I am not good with technology or social type apps, but this walks you straight through. Beginning to end. It is set up to completely accommodate you, the user. It will ask when you tend to eat the most, what your diet is, what your goals are. It’s wonderful! You can choose whether or not you want to be social with the WW community. I chose not to be and I am glad I made that choice just because there is one downfall... and I realize it’s the internet and there are keyboard warriors out there, but people are not always the most positive, uplifting, or even keep things weight loss related on there. Me personally, I feel, (and maybe this is silly?) that maybe there should be monitoring or something because, I see a lot of post about people being mean to others and that’s not cool no matter what the app is. This in particular though, is supposed to be encouraging and up lifting. This is a life changer for the better quality of people’s lives! That would be my only problem with the app. Otherwise five stars all the way!! Love the way WW is evolving! Changed my life!I’ve been a WW member on and off for 30 years. I am so impressed and overjoyed for all the changes WW is making to their program and app. It’s so easy to track your meals and activity now. They’ve just included sleep tracking too with access to meditation before bed at Headspace. They’ve incorporated exercise videos of all time lengths. They’ve added the ability to include feelings and journal what made you successful or what you struggled with. Countless more things like online support from WW community and helping you meal plan with ingredients currently in your pantry. Great recipes too!!! Gone are the days of bland boring meals. WW appI love it. The app makes entering meals and activity easy and fun. I am having a little trouble searching for “ingredients” rather than pre-cooked food items by national restaurants and chains from my iphone. I figure that’s a “picnic” and it doesn’t usually affect my otherwise very positive experience with the app. And I love Connect! I go there to see the many virtual kindnesses that people extend to people who are struggling and need some support. That tells me that the community works together to hold that space for people who need that support with the challenges of weight loss, body image, gender roles, physical health issues, mental health challenges, addictions, and healing in our country where bullying, racism, and other societal problems that divide the usa and many other parts of the world. I give some of the credit for that to Oprah whose own healing from adverse childhood experiences and the role she created for herself as a leader in American culture for the health and well-being of Black people, all women, and other American minority people. Great app for great programI’ve heard of Weight Watchers for several years now but just didn’t realize how beneficial it would be for me. I thought the program was just for losing weight but turns out it’s really helpful for just learning how to eat better. In fact, it almost becomes kinda like a game... you have this many points; how do you choose to spend them? If you *really* love that food that you know you shouldn’t, then just eat really super healthy all day long before you splurge on that one meal. Or, if you don’t want to use up all your points at once, and don’t want to eat super healthy the entire day, then you can choose to spend some points at each meal. Maybe you want bacon with your eggs and chips with your sandwich... you can do that as long as it is all in moderation. You don’t have to give up your favorite foods completely... as long as you eat well overall. I love that. The app itself is great. It’s super easy to use and I love how you can favorite a meal if it’s something that you eat often. I actually wish I would have downloaded this app sooner... At last I’ve lost some weightHaving put on too much weight and not being able to shift it by fasting, cave man dieting, trying to follow my old SW books my daughter suggested we give the WW app a go. I don’t enjoy group meetings although they can be motivational, with my busy life style I find them frustrating sitting listening to everyone’s progress. I LOVE being able to “point” absolutely everything on my phone, either looking up the item or scanning the barcode, because it is so easy to use I know I count everything; which is the key to loosing weight. We have both had consistently good results, loosing 2lb a week or more, I have never in my 58 yrs had such good results - and as we all know, when you can see the weight coming off it helps you stick with the plan. Love the App!Easy to use, and helpful for every pillar of the My WW+ Program. I can scan bar codes to help me decide what to purchase right there at the grocery store! Sometimes it is easier to say, “No” once. The 5 min Coaching has amazing 1-5 min Audio files to help with stress, setting an intention for the day, and so much more. You can easily access the Weekly Topic and techniques on the Discover Tab. It is nice to be able to go back to older techniques, too! Great follow up tool! I also love the filter section under Discover Recipes- You can filter to your specific dietary needs and preferences. Well designed and easy to useOnly signed up to ww a week ago. Decided to try online as time an issue. App is easy to use has great features and has already demonstrated some areas where I wasn't doing as well as I thought! Only issue is activity doesn't track from dashboard as food does, have to use plus button which is a bit annoying, but minor really. Would be great to be able to view a week of both activity and points usage on one screen. Updated, now have Fitbit so activity tracked from that which is even better. It’s getting better with each upgradeI first became a WW member 3 years ago, and back then, the app was pretty nice. Unfortunately, my heart wasn’t in the right place and I ended up leaving the program a month later. I gave it a second chance a year ago, and I found the app to be better than the last time I used it, because they added the barcode reader and definitely made tracking easier. I left the program a few months later because I became pregnant, but came back as soon as I could, and I was totally amazed with the upgraded app. It has a way bigger library than it used to, and it’s even more user friendly. The only reason I didn’t gave it 5 stars is because sometimes it’s hard to find some items. For instance, the other day I was looking for “fresh strawberries” in the search engine because I wanted to track it, but because I was searching for other packaged snacks before that, the option list only offered stuff like “frozen strawberries”, “dried strawberries”, “strawberry cereal”, etc. I got tired of scrolling down looking for what I wanted, so I waited to track the strawberries later in the day. I know this could be solved if I save the items I want, so it’s easier for the search engine to figure out what I’m looking for, but sometimes I forget (yes, I suffer from “mommy-brain”). Searching is a disasterAs with many apps, if one function that you depend on is badly implemented, it colours your opinion of the whole app. This is the case here because the Search function is probably among the worst that I have ever used. If MFP and Slimming World can get it right then why can’t WW? I use it a lot and waste my time trawling through the pages of irrelevant results and often don’t find what I am looking for. Such was the case today when searching for M&S lamb and chicken koftas, then just lamb and chicken koftas, then just koftas. No sign of them. I know I could scan the barcode but I didn’t have the packet so now I’m stuck. The rest of the app is pretty good. It is easy to enter food if you have the barcode. Impossible to enter recipes though... unless I haven’t found that feature. A good design but poorly implemeted..Version: 6.18.0

Online memberI’m absolutely loving the app. It’s so easy to use and I love that you can simply scan barcodes to see how many points different foods are. I always have my app open when I go shopping to decide whether or not to buy something! Great app! Keeps you focussed!I started this programme at the start of November and was introduced to this app to help stay on track. It is fun to track food as well as log food that isn’t on there. It is also nice to connect with like minded supportive people and get some suggestions for trying new things. A lot of people I know consider diets as just eating vegetables. Try this out and you’ll see it really isn’t. I didn’t give this a five star review because there are some issues with the app regarding the tracking of food. It would be easier to copy and paste over ingredients to another day if you make food for two or three days (cost effective so it is worth thinking about). Plus I am with a partner who is on the same plan and it would be nice to share things easily so you don’t double up on tracking. It is a small thing but it could make a world of difference. Fit points could be explained a lot clearer as well. I have noted that I am not the only one confused by how a short leisurely walk will get more points than a brisk fast walk. If it was less arbitrary, more people would understand the benefit. The last thing of note: while it is great to be able to input food that isn’t currently on the app, I have noticed some discrepancies between similar/same items I.e. the point value is different. This needs to be monitored and combined otherwise people will pick the ones with the lower points. Other than that, this has really helped me..Version: 8.3.0

Better Than Meetings!I’ve done the weekly meeting sessions with both JC & WW - the online system with the app is by far and away better in my opinion. First and foremost, it keeps the program front and center on a daily basis. I can easily look back over my progress and gives me their incentive to “stick with it”. Second, the app scanner makes it a snap to find foods that easily fit into the daily/weekly point allotments when shopping. I can creat my own “meals” for things I have everyday, like ‘morning coffee’, and ‘tuna salad dinner’. The app is always right there on the first screen on the iPad, iPhone, and the task bar on my iMax and Windows computers The app isn’t perfect though. I have found that the value returned for a scanned item, on several occasions, doesn’t agree with the values in the nutrition info for the food. A point high or a point low - not a big deal, but I always only use the scanner as a guide. Would be nice if could adjust the scanned info in the App, and save it as a “My Food” item. Taking time to adjust to the App update, but as long as it still supports my continuing the program successfully, it gets 5 Stars. Major Request: How about bringing the Computer Version up to speed? The AppI was reluctant to sign up for the WW App because, whilst having great success with WW online some 8 years ago, my experience earlier this year was disappointing, to say the least. I could not understand how to work the App so I cancelled the Membership within a few days. I decided a few weeks ago to have another go. I am not overweight but want to lose half a stone. Again, I found it impossible and was about to cancel when I noticed the online chat option. After several ‘chats’ and finding the help section within the App, I persevered and am now a huge fan of the WW App. It is a pity WW do not advise before signing up new members, that the App is “not easy” for older people, who have not grown up with computer and mobile ‘phone technology and provide a simple guide. App great, support is invisibleI love the ease of the app. I love how it takes the guesswork out of what I am doing and that it’s user friendly. It’s become a part of my daily routine. It’s an amazing tool. The 3 star review is for the fact that, when I try to get help for app issues (10 of the same message in my app journey sent at the same time, my search for “lime” yielding the result of an actual lime 20 items down the page, and my points logging oddly), my emails seem to get ignored. I waited a long time for support through the app via connect and I was asked to email support. I emailed again, still ignored. I don’t think the issues that I’m having are huge. In fact, I’d even be okay if it took a long time to fix them. But I don’t like how it feels impossible to get a hold of someone. I don’t like that it feels like no one cares about me as a customer. I’m an OnlinePlus customer. I pay $20 a month to use an app and online resources. I don’t have a person that I talk to face to face every week. The app has quickly become my best friend!I joined WW Online 13 weeks ago. I have had success on a competitors’ plan in the past but, as someone with a very healthy appetite, I’d tried and failed with Weightwatchers a long time ago as I felt I could never eat enough and I struggled to get my head around the plan. The app has changed all that and, whilst I’m only losing a pound a week, I’m just half a pound off my first stone lost. Slowly but surely, I’ll get to my target. I like to think I’m a young 70 but I do find that where I could shed unwanted pounds quickly when I was younger, my weight loss is now much slower. I read reviews that said some people couldn’t get to grips with the app but that hasn’t been my experience so please don’t let negative reviews put you off. There is help available online via “Chat” if you get stuck and it’s definitely the app that’s keeping me on track. Constructively, I could manage without quite so much advertising on the main screen and for some of the app navigation to be slightly easier or more intuitive but, on the whole, the app is fabulous and has become my new best friend..Version: 8.23.1

Really user friendlyI have been using this app for a few days and have now got my head round where everything is. I would like to be able to delete the hints and tips etc that sit on the front page because it means I can’t see straight away where the recipes etc. are. I like that I can easily create and save my own meal and easily add to favourites for future logging and also saving the recipes that I like the look of or add food in the days to come. I do find that there are quite a few foods that I scan that only come up as being entered by someone who has created the food but sometimes there is more than one entry with different points values which I find confusing and I don’t know which one to pick. It would be useful if they could be verified as in other apps. I don’t really understand the wins section? What’s the point of it and what do you do with it? Overall though I am happy with this app and think a lot of previous comments have now been addressed. Will keep using it and hopefully get rid of this excess weight quickly. Linda BrinkmanI love the app for tracking plus reading how WW’s are doing with their losses. I also love the graph of my progress. I find it difficult to find all restaurants that we like to frequent. This makes tracking difficult, as I have to itemize every single ingredient. I cook a lot at home and itemize the same way. I have been a WW for many years. Quit and returned four times. Trader Joe’s must have WiFi as I can track there, but three Safeway’s in Walnut Creek and Alamo plus Pleasant Hill, CA had no WiFi in the store making tracking impossible. Meetings are excellent and we all love, Mary, our guide and leader. We meet at the Tice Creek Gym on Monday’s in Walnut Creek at five p.m. The room is full and there are usually sixty plus people there. Two Safeway’s now use Wi-Fi. I have not been consistent with my mindfulness these past months. Stress, love of sweets and forgetting about moderation has been a heavy weight on my back. Please send Oprah Winfrey to our meeting on Monday afternoon at five p.m. at Tice Valley Gym in Walnut Creek. I never miss meetings and am honest in my tracking. I need a read boost! Needed to chat and could notI have only been a member for 10 days and urgently needed to ask a question about the app and when I tried to char I couldn’t . It came up with the message that there was a high load or something and it would take 3minutes to chat soo I waited and then after 3 minutes it said I’m can’t chat and I will need to come back another time and chat with someone else. The most frustrating thing was that it deleted my question, that was quite long, and so now I have to re type it and hope I can get someone to answer my question. Very frustrating. Registering activity points!!!The only trouble I have is with the activities..... before I used to put in hydro therapy under Special activities ... now there is nothing! I do consistent water activities for 40-50 minutes.... do not know what to register them as! On other days ...... Also I do about 45 minutes of Physio therapy activities ... which include sitting cycling, using thera bands ( think that’s what they are called!) used for resistance training, sliders, standing/sitting form chair, using large ball for body raises as well as toe touching! Love the WW App!I did WW several years ago, before there was an app. I lost weight, but as soon as I reached goal I quit tracking points because it was such a pain to go into my home office and track after each meal, especially after eating out. If I was on vacation or away from home on business, I couldn’t track at all. Without tracking, I got back into old habits and slowly gained the weight back over the years. I started again on WW last July and the app makes a world of difference! When I go out to eat, the app is with me on my phone! Away for business or pleasure? The app is with me! Also, they have automatic entries of points for many national restaurant chains. I used it when I went to Olive Garden and Outback with my mother, and I was able to find delicious, sensible things to eat! My phone is always with me, so it makes it super easy to look up point values, make decisions, and track. In short, I love the portability of the app and I love its features. There’s also the ability to chat with a WW coach 24/7! I plan to be using the app and tracking for the rest of my life so I can maintain all my hard won losses..Version: 8.3.0

WW digital appI love using the WW digital app because it makes everything about loosing weight so much easier as everything you need to succeed is at your fingertips. From counting points easily, tracking your weight loss each day/week, accessing 100’s of recipes, getting motivational messages to help keep you on track or being able to set personal goals. The digital app allows me to be a member of WW without me having to leave home which is especially good because the nearest meeting group to me is 45 minutes away. W W app - I’m in loveI live for the weight watchers app. I’ve wanted to lose 10kg for a long time and hadn’t really considered WW - meetings etc! Great App and ProgrammeVery easy to use and has kept me on track for 4 months so far and still tracking ever day. Without WW online I truly believe I would not have lost the weight I have. I had been miserable for a while and saw a friend had done well so I signed up and am so happy. Us ladies get to a certain age and the weight started piling on for no real reason and I thought that was it for me. Glad I didn’t accept it for too long and now I’m so glad I signed up. Love the app, but ...Loving the app and finding it a really helpful tool but it lost a star as I am unable to add foods or recipes I created to new recipes. Lack of ability to add a created food/recipe is frustrating as it means having to create most of a recipe, then create a meal to capture the recipe and points as a whole. For instance vital wheat gluten is not in the database and wheat flour has much higher points so can’t sub to calculate the total points. Created a record for it but can’t add it to any recipe calling for it. Creating a meal instead is a bit messy as it means having to calculate individual portion size for the added ingredient and remember where recipes are stored. More than what I expected...I think weight watchers is amazing. The perfect balance in being successful. Ive learnt to eat more mindfully from habit .. I love having the support and being able to connect with online staff for any queries. Most of all... I loved that I can eat what I want within my point range and almost all veg/fruit are free foods, so all my meals are packed out with goodies. I sometimes have treats too. I eat half a large Easter egg but the difference between now and before was it was a very conscious choice which I planned a week earlier and I knew I’d be using my daily and alittle from my weekly allowance that particular day. Bring back PPNot really app related but feedback for WW as a whole. I love the program, I lost 20 kg quiet easily but then for some reason we changed to SP which I struggled with, then the zero point foods were introduced and weight loss stopped. It became very hard, not like PP at all where I could still have a coffee or a nice treat The very reason WW worked was the accountability ( tracking ) I don’t get how WW doesn’t see it goes against the very essence of what WW was and still should be ... it’s very disappointing, and like many people I’ve canceled my membership and joined groups where people still follow the PP plan It’s sad to feel like making the $$ by constant changes is more important than helping those who really needed this, and I get the new system works for some but WW has to realise it doesn’t work for all.Version: 7.16.0
