TeachMe: Kindergarten for Positive User Reviews

Great appMy 5 year old daughter will be going into kindergarten in the fall. She is one of those kids that won't let the parents teach her anything. She is loving the games on this app and is learning a lot. The only thing I would change is the rewards. Her sister has teach me grade 2 and loves collecting the shape prizes, it would be nice if the shape prizes were available in the kindergarten app..Version: 3.3.1

Needs a teach me 5th gradeI HAVE PLAYED THIS APP IN KINDERGARTEN. I AM 10 now. THIS APP ROKS. MY BROTHR IS 5 AND HE HAS BEN ASKING FOR MY FONE TO PLAY THIS AWSOM GAME. HE IS HAVE FUN. HE HAS ALOT OF FUN. 나는이 게임을 좋아한다!!!.Version: 4.2.4

Exceptional!!I have owned my touch for years now and have never written a review on any app. This one is so well done that I had to review. I have it set up for different kids with ranging learning styles and they love it. The immediate feedback is awesome and enjoyable for them to learn. Can you develop an app for grades 1,2 ,3 etc?? I would definately buy it. Well worth the money!!!.Version: 0

We LOVE this APPHave to give a HUGE shout out to the iPad App "Teach Me" series. We have Teach me Toddler, Teach me Kindergarten and Teach me Grade 1. My kids LOVE them. My daughter likes to earn stickers for correct answers, whereas my son likes to earn coins to buy fish for his aquarium. WE LOVE THIS APP!.Version: 3.3.1

Well done!My 5-year old got really into it. Great learning tool!.Version: 3.4

Great App!!This is the best app I have found for my three year old. It really teaches her maths and sight words whilst being fun. Love that there are levels and it doesn't consider a thing learnt until the child gets it right three times. The coin/sticker system is fantastic too..Version: 0

Amazing!!!We started off with Teach Me Toddler and thats great (still one of our favourites), but this one is even better. Great extra dimension of earning coins and having the option to spend them on scenes & stickers or save them in the piggy bank. Educational and lots of fun too. Highly recommended..Version: 2.1.1

Get it!This is such a great app to work with your kids! Such a well thought out program. It is soooooo nice to be able to introduce simple math in a fully interactive and visual way. It has helped us build a deeper understanding of the concepts of addition and subtraction and made it fun for my kiddo. Great beginning spelling and sight word quizzes too! Nice token system, much better than buying a million stickers that end up in my dryer:) This is well worth the $2. You can't get this kind of learning/teaching out of a box of flash cards and those cost more. I can see teachers using this one on one in the classroom to motivate or test their students. I , for one, would love to see more apps that are curriculum based. Love it thanks!.Version: 0

Teach me receptionMy son loves this app. Would be nice to have a British accent option please.Version: 4.0.1

Fun and educationalMy daughter just turned 4 and has shown signs that she's ready to learn sight words. I got this app because of the reward system (you can set how much they need to do to get the reward) and the visual appeal without being cluttered with garbage. My daughter loves it and can navigate the game fine on her own but I generally sit by her to praise her work and give her guidance when she makes mistakes. My wishes would be #1 to have trickier word selections for the sight words (like have two choices that start with the same letter more often) and #2 have a more girly themed sticker set and scene..Version: 0

Fabulous!!!I have added a lot of apps to help my pre-k child learn her stuff before kindergarten and this is the ONLY one that keeps her attention and that she has fun with the whole time!!! The only thing I would change is when you click the numbers/words/letters it makes a click sound, if they would vocalize what the letter, number or word was that would make it even better in my opinion. However, like I said there is no other app that makes my child as excited about learning as this one does... lots of positive reinforcement and rewards!! This is a must have app!!.Version: 0

Great appMy 3 year old loves it. I also used it in my classroom for a student with very limited motivation. I allowed him to get a sticker after every correct answer he got. This is the only learning app I found that kept him motivated (and I tried a lot of them!). The only problem I have with the app is that there is no option to sync across devices. I would happily pay an annual subscription fee to make that option available to me..Version: 3.5

Fantastic teaching app! This app is brilliant. So much better than others I've tried. The best thing is how much control the adult has over this. You can disable whole sections like addition if your child is not yet ready for it. Or you can keep the section but modify it to suit, eg you can remove words you don't want yet. You can put them back in when you want. You can also control how often the child wins stickers, how many times they need to get something right, and how often to review things. You can alter it all whenever you want to keep up with changing children. Set a pass code & your child can't mess with the settings you've put in. Even if you choose to leave everything in, it starts with the easier ones & builds up to the harder ones. Agree an english voice option and/or option to record yourself would be good but still good as it is. It doesn't actually spell out the word so doesn't matter so much that it doesn't use phonics. Occasional word pronounced differently with American accent but as you can easily remove words you don't want you can always take these out. I was surprised how quickly my 4 year old got the hang of it & that she could fill in missing letters better than I expected. If you are trying to teach phonics 'spell it & say it' then this isn't the app (try pocketphonic instead) but for difficult words that don't spell phonetically & need to be learnt & also for very basic spelling its fantastic. My child was struggling with phonics so we tried this & it really helped. She could learn whole words easier & once she'd learnt some it boosted her confidence & she tried harder with the phonics too. Now she can do it both ways. Well worth the small cost. I'll be buying the next level when it's time..Version: 3.4

AMAZINGI have never seen such an amazing app for kids. I love the reward coins they receive and the way they can 'buy' things. It teaches them not only phonics, adding, subtracting and sight words but that the things they 'buy' are not free, you have to work for it. THIS APP IS NOT TO BE MISSED!!!.Version: 2.1.1

Wow.... I was very impressedWow! I have to say that I was very impressed with the program. Not only does it really teach the bascis, the reward system is also great. "Dad, look at all my coins".... and "I have to get more coins to buy that...." Strongly recommend it.Version: 3.2

Best leaning app got KGWe use it at our school. The kids live it and it really makes a difference for our struggling learners..Version: 4.0.1

Excellent AppAn excellent App to prepare your hi for kindergarten. Lots of depth and breadth. Rewards could be better, however they still keep the child motivated. Well worth the investment..Version: 3.1

Fantastic!!This is the best educational app that I have downloaded to date. I am a primary school teacher and can highly recommend this app for children in kinder and prep. Have yet to look at the other levels. I love the interactive store that allows the player to buy things, this also keeps the player interested in wanting to achieve more gold coins, but to earn them, they have to complete a set of questions. The best thing about this app is that it allows the parent to adjust the reward system and look at how they are progressing through the levels. Really love it!!!!.Version: 3.2

Buy this! This is the best educational app for kinder kids. My 5 year old can't get enough of it. I hope they bring out more Teach Me products for primary school kids! Please.Version: 0

Great learning appMy 4 year old daughter loves this app. She's learning a lot and the reward system also teaches her about money. She loves getting things for her fish tank! Highly recommended app!.Version: 0

WonderfulAll 3-apps, Toddler, kindergarten, and grade-1 Have been Absolutely wonderful for both my 3 & 5 year olds. It's a truly excellent blend of all the basics and for the price it should be showcased for all parents to see. Simply the best learning app I have found in the past couple years..Version: 3.4

Great app!I have only had this app for a few hours and I can all ready see the potential with my students. I teach special education k-3 so this is a great app for my struggling 2nd graders and my own 5 year old. I do have a few suggestions. I would like to see them make more levels...2nd and 3rd grades at least. Secondly, I think it needs to be renamed by level not grades. My students will have a hard time playing kindergarten when they are in 2nd grade. If the name were teach me 1, teach me 2, etc. I wouldn't have to exaggerate the truth about their ability level. My last suggestion is to have rooms in the school house (1st grade) where you can focus on just sight words or math, etc. I know this sounds like I don't like the app. I really see it benefiting my students. Just had a few suggestions..Version: 3.2

Excellent learning game!!!👍Thank you!.Version: 4.2.3

Love this app, but tweak itWe use this app all the time, and it's been very helpful. I use it to review material over the summer so they don't forget anything. I would recommend this app to any parent and to fellow teachers. However, I wish one feature was different. When doing addition problems, the child can use pictures of objects to help them figure out the answer to a problem. This is an option which the child can access by touching a box in the corner of the screen. If the child uses this option, then he touches the objects and a voice counts the total number of objects on the screen for them. I would like to tweak this feature. First, if the child gets an answer wrong the first time, I'd like to suggest that the pictures automatically drop down for the child to use. Second, I don't want a voice to count the number of objects for my daughter. I would like her to try and count them herself and figure out the answer by herself. However, if she got the answer wrong again, then it would be appropriate for the voice to count the objects for her. This approach would give a scaffolding of help from no assistance to some assistance to a great deal of assistance. Whereas right now, you go from no assistance to a great deal of assistance with nothing in between. Thank you for considering this request. Heather, from West Virginia.Version: 3.3.1

Great app!All of my kids have grown up on this app, it has a great pace, and the kids love it..Version: 4.2.4

Love it!!'My 3 year old absolutely love this app she learned to add and subtract right away!!!!.Version: 0

Ipad appWell worth the money.Version: 3.4

Outstanding on many levelsMy 3y.o. loves this game, within about 3 plays she was able to play completely independantly. The games are challenging, but provide so much learning support that she's able to answer questions well above her previous level. The rewards system is also genius! It has been so nice to watch her choose to save her coins for bigger prizes rather than immediately spend on stickers. She LOVES her fish and always wants to check in on them. Thank you for a wonderful app, this is by FAR the best learning app we've found..Version: 0

Rewarding for kids encourages learningMy kid loves the fact of getting stickers when he gets a certain number correct very rewarding.Encourages learning and boosts self esteem..Version: 3.0.1

My son's favorite game after Angry Birds.I keep recommending this app to friends with children. My son quickly loses interest when we study, but loves "his learning game". I especially love that wrong answers are explained and not given stars, forcing them to keep trying for their points and not just hitting random buttons. I like that you can adjust the number of correct answers needed to earn a coin, and the reward system of cashing in coins for stickers or items for your virtual fish is also a teaching tool. The app is easy to use and lots of fun!.Version: 3.4

Disabled son just showed of to pediatrianOh thankyou for a wonderful app son has just shown medical teams what he is capable of hope to see all grades with this app helps all my children greatly and allows me to see there progress. God Bless and a big thankyou..Version: 0

Fantastic AppWe've had this app for quite a while and both my children enjoy it. I like the topics they learn and how it is visually presented. Also, I like that the voice for the "mouse teacher" is pleasant and that she gives specific instructions on how to correct any mistakes. I had an older version and was thrilled when I updated the app. The newer version now includes letter and number writing. I couldn't believe that they could improve on the original, but I guess was wrong (it is much better!). Thanks so much for this app. This enhances our homeschooling lessons and makes it fun for the kids..Version: 4.0.1

FantasticThe maths, sight words & missing letter type of spelling is great for preschoolers. An unexpected bonus was the cash register for purchasing stickers. Helps with saving ideas, spending, earning & maths comprehension. Highly recommended..Version: 3.4

Pleasantly surprised, but it could be improvedI've avoided these apps for a while due to the sight words, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the toddler version allows children to pick letters based on their names and sounds. I like the way that addition and subtraction can be acted out (throwing away subtracted items, etc.). Overall, it's a good app, but I'd love to see better graphics/more cheerful colors, and definitely a phonics section. Allowing students to read CVC words (at least) in the Kindergarten game would be great, for instance. I would prefer to be able to turn off sections that students aren't ready for, to allow for further customization..Version: 3.2

OriginalIt is a really interesting way to teach children, not just basic spelling and math, but also earning and spending and gaining and losing and gaining something else..Version: 3.0

Best app for kidsMy 5 year old was reading a book over the phone to his Grandma. She asked where he learnt to read so well. He instantly said the iPad. Great app to get kids learning..Version: 3.2

My 5 year old loves this appThis is a great app, my 5 year old loves doing math and spelling. She looks forward to spending her reward coins on stickers and fish..Version: 3.0

Brilliant2 yr old LOVES it after downloading in about 20 mins ago The rewards are a bit pants but she doesn't play things to get stickers etc so this doesn't matter defo suit a child of 4ish Love the fact u can turn off some things like the writing numbers and just do the math and words/letters as my lo hasn't got the fine motor skills to write many of the lower case letters.Version: 4.0.3

My little girl loves itThis is a great way to introduce reading and basic skills like addition and subtraction, we've had it only a couple of days but my 5 year old really enjoys playing this. I do believe the collect coins for stickers feature does keep her more engaged for longer than she normally would be..Version: 0

Really well doneThe mix of numbers with letters helps keep interest and variety. It does seem to take a very long time to adjust to each kid's level.Version: 3.2

Great app!!!!As a parent I absolutely love this app. My 5 year old daughter loves it as well. She's 'practicing' for kindergarten. Great graphics and sounds. Love the password option as well. All kids games should have it..Version: 3.4

Great App - #1 in our familyThis is so far the best app I have found to engage and teach little ones. There is a reward for answering correctly, that leads to gaining "stickers" for free play. My son is in the top of his class in Kindergarten - this helped him learn his letters the fastest of all the apps we played with. I own all the "Teach Me" Todder, Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2..Version: 3.4

Absorbing and rewardingMy 5 year old naturally enjoys progressing through elementary spelling, Dolch words, adding and subtracting - he pesters me for the phone to get a chance to learn more - the single best kids application I have..Version: 0

The bestMy son loves this app. It's fun and easy to use..Version: 3.5

Amazing app, amazing valueCan't recommend this enough, best app ever for education for kids.Version: 3.2

Fun with great incentive for the kids!My kindergartener loves this app - for the areas it covers (sight words, spelling, addition and subtraction) it is great! The reward (coins) are earned with correct answers and saved to make "purchases" of stickers to decorate a number of scenes - this is what makes the app great fun for my daughter! She loves collecting enough coins, making the purchase and decorating the scenes. Then you can save the scenes as a photo and they have a permanent reward. I only wish they would add patterning and greater/less than for math skills! It is worth the money..Version: 3.2

AWESOME APP FOR YOUR KIDS!!I have purchased MANY applications for my kids (5 and 3 years old) and this is the first app where I've felt compelled to write a review. Bottom line...this is an excellent app. It teaches so many different things - all in the format of a game so the kids don't necessarily realize that they're learning. They WANT to play the "game" even though it's designed to teach reading, spelling and math. One of the things I like the most is that the game also teaches the value of money by awarding the player with "coins" when they get correct answers to questions. They are then able to redeem their coins for electronic "stickers" or other similar "prizes" that they can use to create different pictures within the program. I highly recommend this app if you have kids who are just learning how to read or do basic math..Version: 0

Cool to watch! My not yet 3 year old son is freaking me out with how quick he's learning to add, subtract and read!! He loves the rewards and I'm loving watching him learn!.Version: 0

Excellent programI love this program. My kids ask to play it all the time. I can track Their progress and it jumps from subject to subject so they don't become bored. It's an excellent supplement to their education..Version: 0

Love it!Originally purchased this for my special needs child, to help along with his learning process. Have since gone on to buy "teach me 1st grade" as well, since it helped him so much! Now my younger children use this, even those too young for kindergaten! The kids love it, it's their favourite game, they think it's just for fun!.Version: 4.1

Awesome learning appMy 4 year old has learned addition subtraction and spelling just in time for kindergarten.Version: 0

Already saidAs others already said, this app is perfect for the young ones to build basic reading and math skills. Kids get two rewards: vital skills and cute items to purchase. Perfect!.Version: 3.4

Great appI love this app!!! My six year old is kind of struggling in gr.1, with math and reading. I've tried everything and she has not been very co-operative, doesn't seem interested in it. She didn't even want to do this at first but now she loves it and it's helping her understand simple addition and subtraction. Thank-you so much for this app. Can you make a grade 1,2,3 app as well?.Version: 0

AwesomeI got this app for my then 3 year old son. he just turned 5 and math is now his favorite thing to do!.Version: 3.2

Teach Me KindergartenThis is a great app. My daughter in prep is having difficulties with recognizing letters, hence I purchased this. My grade 3 daughter loves it too. Loves getting everything right! The coin rewards and the aquarium are very good. Very popular with my girls. Highly recommended and easy to play..Version: 3.0.1

Great appMy son 5years old loves it. Keep up the good work..Version: 0

Nice appI’ve used this app for quite a few years. I bought this for my great niece to practice writing, now my granddaughter is using it. They both love the sticker reward system. They enjoy the app a lot. Thanks for making it..Version: 4.2.4

Excellent Learning App - Best I have found!I cannot recommend the "Teach Me" series more. Both of our kids enjoy playing the games and collecting virtual prizes. I put all 4 apps on the phone and they can keep them occupied on the move (eg in car!). Our eldest is 5 and has worked all way through the 4 Stages from Toddler and is now on Grade 2. It is great way of helping their language and arithmetic in a fun way. I searched many educational apps and these are by far the best. Colin UK.Version: 3.5

Great! Highly recommended!Wonderful app that my kids age 2.5, 5 and 8 love! Just wish there was more grades like 4th through 6th! Please keep developing higher grades! Also I’d love to see a Algebra, geography, world history and us history version. That be super! Penmanship fix please!!! Only complaint is my younger kids get frustrated when they can’t write the letters or numbers perfect and can’t progress past the screen without mom writing it for them..Version: 4.2.4

AwesomeGreat application!!!.Version: 3.3.1

Very educational & funMy daughter cant get enough of this game.... She absolutely love it & learning so much .Version: 0

GreatGood app. Challenges my child, but is entertaining to her. Great price.Version: 0

Incredible engaging educational app! This is easily the best educational app series for kids. There is no other app in the same ballpark as this one. Brilliant design for teaching my 4 yr old how to do addition and subtraction. Spelling drills are also engaging. Even more brilliant is the way they gave the kids a prize every three correct questions similar to Monkey's preschool lunchbox. The kindergarten version gives the kids a coin and teaches them that more coins buy bigger prizes. Even more brilliant than that is that each learning category progressively gets harder so after 3+1, 4+1, etc is automatic it will work it's way up to 10+2 in slow increments of increasing difficulty. And it was only a dollar. My two year old also jumps on the kindergarten version instead of the toddler version that he normally likes. He is showing noticeable improvements in math and guessing the correct words. My only advice for the developer is to make better stickers that cost more coins than 1 or 2. I am guessing that boredom from the rewards will eventually be the reason my sons quit playing..Version: 3.2

Great AppI have a 5yo Autistic son and this has helped him greatly, this is reinforcing what he's currently learning in grade one eg, sight words and math..Version: 3.0.1

Best app around for kindergardenersThis is by far the best app I have found in this category. It really assists my daughter learn all the necessary skills to succeed in kindergarden while making it fun. I like the controls, the reports, and the settings I can use to add challenge appropriately. I only wished there was a Spanish version!! That would the cherry on top for us, since our daughter attends a dual immersion English/Spanish elementary school in our area and the Spanish version would help her tremendously! Thank you again for such a great product, and please, pretty please, consider a Spanish version!!.Version: 4.1

We love it!This game has been so fun for my daughter. She just turned 4 and the pace of this game is just perfect for her. It takes her through the steps of each problem and TEACHES her the concepts instead of just making it about a right or wrong answer. We were taking a family road trip and I downloaded about 20 games. This is her favorite by far. She'll play another for a minute or two, but then she goes right back to Teach Me: Kindergarten. I think that it may be a bit slow for an actual kindergartener and might super boring for anyone older than that..Version: 0

Well Done AppTeachMe Kindergarten is a well done app. I use it daily in my special education program as a station to reinforce reading lessons. One benefit of this app is that you can assign five users and track their progress. It speaks directions and provides multiple choice answers. It repeats questions when necessary, gently informs of wrong answers, and reinforces when the student is correct. It is easy to use and needs little instruction. It engages the students and they can be self contained with it. I've searched for many apps to use with my students; this is the best I've found so far..Version: 2.1.1

Great AppMy kids love the various versions for different ages. Sync'ing between multiple devices by saving to the cloud or email would make this a 5 star app..Version: 3.2

FantasticI love this app. The concept of coin rewards and the shop are outstanding. I just wish there were more interactive rewards like the aquarium..Version: 3.0

Great appThis is a fantastic "game" for kids. It's functional, educational, fully self-explanatory and fun! My 6 yr old son loves this and I have the toddler version for my 4 yr old, which she loves, too. A home-run..Version: 3.2

Teach me KindergartenLove this app... Being a parent of a special needs child it is so important to see visuals. The whole program is amazing !!!! Any thoughts on making a math program that will have counting up to 100, including adding and subtracting using the same visuals as this program??? I would buy it in a flash... Thank you for the wonderful program... Well Done!!!.Version: 3.4

Happy parentMy kids love this game. It has totally improved their reading & math levels in a fun way. They love the rewards too. Looking forward to Grade 2 and beyond..Version: 3.2

Fabulous app. My daughter keeps coming back to this one.I love this app. Goal oriented which my daughter loves. Challenging and very educational. Highly recommend. Would love to see the app continue to older ages..Version: 3.2

Best learning app so farIMO, what sets it apart is that they learn even when they get the answer wrong. A major plus is that it offers up to 4 profiles for those of us with multiple kids/users. I love being able to track my kids progress and see what specifically they are getting right/wrong. I like the adjustable rewards system - especially the fish tank. I do wish there was more rewards as my son has a full fish tank but is only halfway through game. Also the sticker screens sometimes allow stickers to pile up in corner that you can't move without accidentally pressing a button..Version: 3.2

Good app. American pronunciationThis is a great App covering the basics of letter recognition, phonetics, reading and spelling for Australian Preps. It offers you the flexibility to disable questions that are too difficult until your child is ready for them, so they have the opportunity to consolidate and don't get discouraged. My main wish is that they would offer it with an English or Australian 'teacher'. My child sometimes has difficulty understanding the teacher. It would also be good if the time spent in the stickers blues or aquarium was limited..Version: 4.0.2

ExcellentHelped my preschool to be enthusiastic about math. Also aided in my efforts outside of the app to teach reading and writing. Lost a star for taking so long to record his status on sight words. Thanks much :)..Version: 3.4

Crazy Good! Most addictive, educational app I've seen. My 5 year old loves it and is learning while having fun! What more could you want?.Version: 0

FantasticBuy it. This is great! My 5 yr old grandson just loves it & he's learning LOTS..Version: 0

My fav apps for fun/learning by far!I now have toddler, K, and 1st grade teachme because they are great! The kids love to play them. They never get board. Plus they are actually learning a lot! I give the toddler version of this credit for teaching my 4 year old all her letter sounds. She just completed toddler, and we bought this kindergarten version (took her a school year to complete, using it 2-3 times a week for apx. 20mins) This is just the level up she needed. It has more than the stickers it has an aquarium! It makes her work a little harder to get coins to buy things. I love how simple it teaches addition and subtraction. I didn't even have to explain how to do it! With little effort she was reading her first words the very first time she played. Good job!.Version: 3.2

A must have learning app bundleI have used these apps with my now 7th grader and I am currently using them for my 2nd grader. They help reinforce the foundational skills for reading and math. They make it fun by adding rewards and having things kids can buy. I am also a teacher and I recommend this app to all parents when they ask what types of apps they can use for additional support for their child..Version: 4.2.6

One of the best for homeschooling! My kids love this app! Makes learning fun... Sounds cliche but it is true! Looking for the toddler version for my two year old, and I am hoping it is still available. My nearly six year old has completed the kindergarten app and I will also be looking to buy the first grade app for him. It has been a great addition to our homeschooling program. I love how it allows multiple users and keeps score of their progress. The rewards are adjustable so that anywhere between one and 15 right answers will give the student a coin which can be spent on digital stickers or digital fish all with in the app. Excellent..Version: 3.4

Fantastic App!!!!!My autistic 3 year old can now add, subtract, read small words and even spell!!! He started with the toddler version and now knows all his shapes, colours, letters and sounds. This is his favourite app :D.Version: 0

The Best!TeachMe: Kindergarten is a wonderful educational app for 4-6 year olds. Everything is intuitive and actually helps children understand what they are learning. The reward system and stickers really help to build confidence and encourage children to keep playing. My 4 year old now has a good grasp on arithmetic and has been able to apply and build on his phonics knowledge with this app. I can't say enough good things about TeachMe: Kindergarten. Thank you!.Version: 0

The BestThe best! App available for those wanting to learn basic arithmetic and spelling/sight words (pre-k/kindergarten). Perfect combination of education and entertainment. Let's the child work at his/her own pace. Everything is verbally reinforced. Addition and subtraction are illustrated. Correct answers let the child earn coins to be used to buy stickers to create their own scene. My daughter can play this for hours and learn the whole time. The parent or teacher can customize the app to focus on areas that the child needs T the appropriate level in a PIN secured area of the app. Multiple children can use the same app each with their own account. This app would easily be worth $10 or more. For a buck this is the best educatonal value I know of in the app store..Version: 3.0.1

Best Educational App EverFirst off, let me just say that I keep updating this review because the app keeps getting better and better. They even specifically addressed my comments in an update. Thank you! This is the best pre-school educational app I've found yet. For the price, it's an absolute steal. For the same price, other apps tend to be cheesy 15-minute throw-aways. The setup is great and my 3 year old loves it. He has had it for around 2 months now and still begs to play "stickers" after dinner. Besides the way he navigates my iTouch like a pro (a little scary), I can ask him sums and differences up to around 7-3 and he knows!.Version: 0

Awesome!!!!!!!!My kids love this. I love this. It's a great educational tool. The kids have so much fun and are learnings lots from it..Version: 0

Absolutely love itSo I’m a tight-wad and never pay for apps, but my mom gave me an Apple gift card for the app store and I tried this. I love it so much I may buy it for my husband’s tablet for my child to use as well. It teaches math and reading as well as writing. Her writing has improved greatly, and she went from not counting at all to being a math super star within days. She loves the sticker store and it has also helped teach her about saving money and patience- since some items you have to save up for (not real money). A great app that teaches and works.Version: 4.2.4

My kids love all the teach me apps.My 5 year old Asd child has used many apps before and this is the one he has responded to the most. Thank u!!!!.Version: 3.3.1

Fantastic! This is a fantastic app! I use it for both my 4 and 5 year old. My 5 yr old will be starting kindergarten in september so it's great prep! They look forward to earning coins to purchase what they want from whichever store. It makes learning with reward really fun. I had not introduced sight words and this does. It has so much more than the typical pre-school apps that my kids have outgrown so many months ago. The design on this app is so modern, my kids can't get enough of it. It is one that I have downloaded on my own tablet and not theirs so I can work on it WITH them. I wish there was another "kindergarten teach me" app to purchase as after a full month of 1 hour a day, they seem to be mastering it. It is every bit worth $1.99!!!.Version: 3.4

GanakasBest app , good for kids..Version: 3.2

Great appThis app is very educational for my kids. I used the second grade level game to teach my child long addition and subtraction before he was old enough to learn it at school. The kindergarten game is great for learning phonics reading skills, sight words, and early addition and math skills. My only complaint would be the writing program. As a parent, you can just select to not use that program if you want in parent controls. I think there are lots of free apps that are better at teaching writing. For math and reading though, I find this app to be exceptional and far superior to other apps out there. For me, this app is an academic necessity..Version: 4.2.4

Good when it is working.Right now when I click the settings button it crashes. Poof! Gone. Can’t change the setting to change the curriculum assigned to my child..Version: 4.2.4

We like it! Two thumbs up!!My 2 year old daughter is learning addition and subtraction so I purchased this app. I love the progress report that shows me how she is progressing. She's not really learning how to write yet but I like that you can turn that feature off in the settings. We had so much fun adding objects from the "bucket" and throwing items in the "trash" to give her a visual aid in addition and subtraction lessons. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I we haven't figured out the coins (rewards system) yet. She only has 15 coins so far and hasn't purchased anything. Other than that, it is great!!.Version: 4.0.6

Great appMy daughter, (4 years old), uses this app all the time, and absolutely loves it! It's the best learning app we've bought so far..Version: 2.1.1

FantasticMy daughter lived this app before kindergarten and during. It makes math and language fun for her..Version: 4.0.1

Great AppMy son is 5 and in Kindergarten, and he loves this app..Version: 3.4

Best appThis app is brilliant. Easy to use and has lot's of content. It has so many apps in one. Please work on the next grades please. my child has a physical disability yet to see what he can do with one finger let's us know he is on task with his learning. God bless keep up the good work..Version: 0

Where's the language choice gone?Love this app for small learners but where has the choice of language/accent gone?.Version: 4.1

One of the best I've foundThis is one of the better apps of this type that I've found, and I have tried quite a few. It made me see how my 4 year old was processing (or, as it turned out, not processing) addition and subtraction concepts, and she is now understanding them much better. I really like being able to put items being subtracted into a bucket and getting them out of sight (and vice versa for addition), and then being able to tap them with a visible number showing up to get your answer. The aquarium reward system is great. That in itself teaches basic money concepts, such as saving up your coins to buy a bigger reward. The only complaint I'd have about that (and something to be aware of) is that she had already purchased 3 fish, and worked hard to save 10 coins to buy a 4 th. But the aquarium will only allow you to have 3 fish In it at a time, and you can't "take it back " to the store and trade it in on something else. So that was a wasted 10 coins that, as I say, we're well earned. Other than that it's a great app..Version: 3.2

Loved by Aussie reception kidsMy 5 year old loved Teach Me Reception. A well designed app that was easy to use, didn’t frustrate them with glitches and increased in difficulty as they progressed. Easy to track progress (for both the parents and child if your child wishes to) and highlights areas that need extra attention. Even though it’s clearly American it worked really well with the Australian curriculum and the American accent was easy to understand. Easy for parents to customize. They’ve now moved onto Teach Me Year 1 which is proving equally beneficial and enjoyable for my kid to “play”..Version: 4.2.6

Love itThis app really works, is so fun to use and my daughter love to use it..Version: 3.2

WowWe let our 2 1/2 year old play with this app as we also had the previous one. He has just turned 3 and knows all of it. With this app we really feel that he is now self taught in spelling and some maths at this early age. Thanks for a great app, you have given him a great start in life..Version: 2.1.1

Great. Now what?My daughter is 4 and attends pre-k school. I got this app expecting her to gradually grow into it but she mastered the app within 2 hours. The problem is that, while I couldn't get my phone back, the game was no longer challenging enough for her. Don't get me wrong, the Kindergarden version was more than my 3 year old could handle & I downloaded the pre-k version for him But I can't find a more advanced, comparable app for my daughter and I don't want her to get bored with this app before I come up with her next challenge Please produce an app for the next level (1st grade) or update this app so that it can be adjusted to provide a challenge to different levels of achievement. Thank you.Version: 0

Fantastic!!!!I never thought my daughter will be this happy to learn some maths & english.Collecting coins as they progress is such an inspiration. It is a perfect way to train my daughter for Reception from this Sep..Version: 3.5

Making Learning Fun!This is a great app for the Pre-K child in your life. My 4 year old daughter loves this app and I love that she loves it! The varity is great, she is never bored and the reward system makes her proud of her accomplishments. For the longest time she was all about saving the number of coins rather than spending them. I love that the app advances with her so that it keeps her interest (different levels), also as other reviewers mention, the reward system teaches the child about making smart purchases/choices. Really can't go wrong with this one..Version: 0

Mouse guyGood game for older people but very bad for kids must have adult super vision if you are a kid mouse guys.Version: 4.2.4

Better if one is guiding their childMy son loves this game. Loves it. I love that he loves it. But... After about two weeks of playing the game off and on (I see him every other weekend) he has learned some shortcuts to the game; work-arounds, really. I've gone to guiding him through a lot of the math operations because he'll begin either pulling down the hints or guessing immediately instead if trying to work the math operation. It would be nice if there was somehow a negative reinforcement if guessing or multiple wrong answers were detected. In the final analysis, this game is a good learning or prep tool but it is best utilized with guidance which, after all, is how students learn best in the first place at this early stage. I do not recommend this game as a way to give children something to do while the adult is doing something else. At that point, this app is almost useless in its intent..Version: 3.4

One of the best educational apps...but...My four year old is learning things like crazy with this app. It gets more challenging as she gets better but stays the same if she isn't quite getting it. There are progress reports for parents. It let's me see how she is writing her letters and numbers. It's great! Crazy to see my tiny child understanding how to add and subtract and she is getting better and better at writing. The one thing that would make it better is more options for rewards. She is bored of the stickers. She was playing all the time when she discovered the fish but now that's old news. It would be so great if there were other animals she could take care of. Kitties and puppies, etc. I am not sure how much longer she will play it without more variety of rewards to make it fun. If this changes she will love it forever and we will definitely be getting all of the rest in the series. We are a homeschooling family and his is a really fantastic, affordable resource!.Version: 4.1

Best educational applicationHi our 4 yr old enjoys playing this application and it provides excellent tuition at the same time. Highly recommend it - best we have downloaded so far.Version: 0

My kids love itI bought this app based only on its ranking position in the Best Paid apps. I thought that it sounds somewhat boring and not very inventive, but I was surprised by the results: my kids (6y.o. and 4y.o.) actually like this app and use it a lot. I don't know why exactly this happens :-) maybe they like collecting coins and then buying fishes for the virtual fish tank, or that they can always ask the Mouse Teacher to help them with the answer... They can play a game for a few minutes, then they can play this app for half an hour. Recommended!.Version: 2.1.1

Great app for teaching...Great app, keeps my 4yr old engaged and having fun whilst learning a number of different skills. The rewards are a great incentive. Would like the app having a way to sync scores between devices. Eg we have the app installed on two iPads. One of the best learning apps I have downloaded..Version: 3.2

RemarkableThis is a stunningly well designed math & spelling app, to my knowledge the best in the app store. It gets both the teaching & the motivation right. The stickers that my daughter could buy through her own effort of answering questions correctly were a delight, but the aquarium really raised the stakes exponentially. My only request, though I'm not sure it's possible really, is the addition of other interactive worlds that children could "buy" into, like the aquarium, such as a zoo, or playground, etc. The math aids that allow for objects to be counted & subtracted are wonderful, the pacing of the lessons/questions is divine, the spelling differentiations are very finely tuned. Thanks, devs, fine work..Version: 0

Highly recommended!I was pleasantly surprised when I purchased this app. It is extremely well put together, gives great feedback to the kids and they ask to play it. Well done!.Version: 3.0

AWESOME !WOW ! This app is awesome !!! I got it for my just turned 6 yo daughter who is in Kindergarten. My 8 you son got an ipod for Christmas and I added this to it for her to try. Well....he can't get it back from her now ! She wants to play this and Magic Math all the time. I am going to have to get her one ! This app is so much fun, it is more like a game, then learning. She loves earning coins and buying stickers for her scenes. I love that she loves learning and is having fun doing it ! Math, spelling and sight words all in one ! You can set levels and get scores. You have to get this one ! Hope they come out with the 3rd grade on soon !.Version: 2.1.1

Good App, Buy It!My nearly 4 yr old loves this app. I like that you can adjust it (the levels) so that it grows with your child - and that you can turn on/off the addition, subtraction, spelling, and sight word components. Perfect if your little one isn't "there" yet. The only thing I would say is that I find the math a bit abstract for my child. She is quite good at addition/subtraction but not using this app. I think the pictures make it confusing - as in...1 - 0 (the picture is a bird [minus sign] empty cup. Visually, it looks like 1 - 1. Another example. The equation is 3 + 2. The picture is 3 telescopes + nothing, with a bucket in the top right hand part of the screen with a telescope sticking out. When you tap the bucket a telescope drops down. A second tap and the second telescope drops so now you can do the equation. But at first sight it looks like the equation (in pictures) is 3 + 0. I find it annoying and counterproductive. My daughter loves this app though and I feel it's well worth the money. I can tell she will use this app for a long time to come. Buy it!.Version: 0

Great appMy daughter loves this app. The sticker reward system is great because they are learning without even knowing it!.Version: 3.2

Seen true educational growth! This was the first educational app I purchased and I had no idea if the app idea would even work. My daughter started out and did pretty well with my help in getting used to the program, then she started working it on her own. The math problems she used the ability to move the items to the cup for subtraction or out of the cup for addition, and then being able to tap on each item and it have it count them for the child to help them along. I kept thinking this won't work. Just a few days ago, she was able to work the problems with just moving the items in and out of the cups and slowly she has been able to work the problems just by looking at the problems. She will start Kindergarden this August. I truly am amazed. The sight words and sounding out the words has been great, and now the added addition of the achievement levels shows me where she is as well. PLUS the rewards system with the stickers she LOVES! At one point she was just interested in seeing how many coins she could get, we got up to 50 and she thought that was just fantastic. Thank you, this truly has helped my child learn, it did what I did not expect!.Version: 0

Top appThis app has helped my son load if you have a small child I recommend it..Version: 0

This rocks! Make one for Primary school- aged kids!My kids (4yo girl and 6yo boy who is not so keen on reading) love the sticker scenes they can create. It is quite motivating for them. I appreciate that you can sign up four different players. I like that you can change the settings for difficulty of math quiz, but wish there were even more difficult levels beyond 1-10, and than you would add more words, and quiz on letters in a word other than at the beginning of a word (like the app Word Magic). I also like that you have added sight words into the mix. I would be very interested in an app geared for primary-school age kids (gr 1-4)..Version: 0

Great for all abilitiesI cannot say enough good things about this app. I work with special needs children and it is the best app to explain math concepts. Plus I can customize it for each of them to whatever level they are at. Even better, the rewards, teach them even more math. Sneaky, sneaky, I love it! That’s really helpful to give them a basic understanding of how money works in the real world, something that all kids show learn as early as possible..Version: 4.2.5

Mia loves it!My 4 1/2 yr old is just starting to learn some math so this is perfect. So far she's got almost all the words right. Enough variety to keep going too. Thanks.Version: 0

Teach me kindergartenFantastic for a slow learner, really easy to understand and he loves it, as well the lady talking has a real pleasant voice. Easy to follow and understand and he is delighted to get the rewards, he is steaming along loves doing it. Thanks best $1.19 I have spent so far..Version: 0

TeacherI use in my multi-level classroom, especially for my students with behavioral issues. The touchscreen is great for students who are still developing their fine motor skills, and who have trouble with hand-eye co-ordination on a computer..Version: 2.1.1

My 5 yo LOVES this app.Great usage of surprisingly fun stickers to positively reinforce learning. The mix of games make this an engaging experience that keeps my kid interested. My 5 yo finally understood subtraction after playing with this app for a few weeks. Tiny suggestion - harder questions, especially with words. I'd like to see some closer choices, like "find the word lamp" and show some options like "damp, lamb, camp, land." the older preKs are ready to work a little harder. Also, it would be nice to configure how many game slots there are. My dd starts a new game at random and can't remember where most of the stickers are. Did the suggestions make it sound like we don't love this game? Cause we do. A deal at 5 X the price..Version: 0

Absolutely the bestMy 6 year old kindergartener loves it! And her friends, and me! It's educational, it is fun and they have to work it to buy what they want! The fact it allows more than one player, so her friends can play too. And I get to see what level they are at comparing with my girl! Now she is in grade 1, I am downloading that for her too! Hopefully there will be more! Cause I am assigning this as her homework, and she loves it much more!.Version: 3.1

RecommendId recommend because my child really enjoys this and is voluntarily playing it, loves buying the stickers of course. Gives some fiscal comprehension thru that reward system. The maths addition and subtraction capabilities ensure the child can count thru to the answer as well as number recognition..Version: 0

FantasticFun learning, with customizable levels and reward structures. This is the app that will help my son to learn the most, and he likes it the best. Buying the stickers with your earned coins is also a good way to show the value of a $..Version: 0

Just what we wantedI bought this to ready my 4 year old for kindergarten. She loves it and more importantly has already progressed a lot. I especially like how the math skills are explained logically, and how all the skills become very gradually more difficult..Version: 3.2

Fantastic app for special needs kids! This 'game' is just the right blend of tasks and rewards. It's engaging, motivating and educational. My son with autism and daughter with suspected dyslexia play for in game rewards and I can track their progress! I hope you are working on grade 1 and 2 because we will buy them!.Version: 0

ExcellentIf you are looking for an educational app for 4+, this is it. I've tried a few and this is definately the best. My four year old daughter loves it. The reward system is well structured with quick ones (stickers) and ones they save up for (fish tank items). I would suggest the capacity to have different letters of words to be chosen, not just the first letter. Great job!.Version: 0

My Son Loves It!Fantastic app, the rewards system is highly motivational for my son. I also have the Grade 1 version which is also fantastic. Just a pity the app doesn't have any higher grades for my older son..Version: 3.2

Great job!The app is great! My son loves it! He is almost five now, so my only concern is when the 1st grade version will be available on iPad. I am pretty sure we need more like this..Version: 3.0.1

Love it already!!!!We just got this app today and my kindergartner LOVES it. She has thanked me multiple times already for getting it. It is fun and educational at the same time. GREAT JOB. *** please make similar app for older children, I would love something like this for my son who I'd in grade 3 and would gladly pay for it!!.Version: 2.1.1

A must have!!!I just luv this app, and so does my 4 yr old daughter! This the best investment that I have made in my daughter's education. Because of this app she has learned adding & subtraction, is starting to identify words, & is also improving her spelling! I luv how this app tracks her progress (correct/ incorrect answers), the 'coins' as rewards, and she luvs buying the stickers! Plus, it is repetitive which gives her a chance to grasp the concept before it moves her forward! The audio is very kid friendly and overall appealing! I can't say enough about this app! This is well worth the .99 cents that I paid, and more! My daughter plays in the car, at home, and is always asking to play it! She is getting great practice, and is going to be better prepared for kindergarten! Thank u Teachme! Apple/ App Store u really need to feature this app for the kids section. I've brought several kids apps and this is by far the best one!!!!!!!!!!.Version: 0

Really Great AppTeaches sight words, phonics and Math! Very fun reward system..Version: 0

Best early childhood educational app on ANY platform!Pros: Adjustable levels for each child (which is handy for 4 yr old twins and a 6.5 yr old) Separate accounts for each child - progress records for each. Varying, random subject matter within each round. (sight words, addition, phonics, subtraction) (like circuit training for the brain -- like real life) Simple, clean, attractive graphics. Great audio - as enthusiastic as can be without being annoying. Excellent reward system - not only does it truly incentivize them to continue to make progress, it also teaches good lessons about earning and saving: more desirable rewards cost more so they learn that they can't spend every coin they earn if they want the 'good stuff.' The level of difficulty increases slowly enough that they gain a good deal of confidence before meeting new challenges. When they make a mistake, the app tells them exactly what is wrong ("That is the word, him. Find the word, in.) and how to complete the task correctly. It's fun!!! It's just plain fun for the kids and wonderfully satisfying for the adults to watch their children's self esteem and self confidence grow by leaps and bounds with their continued success with this game. Well done, 24x7 Digital! Cons: There isn't yet a TeachMe: Grades 1 & 2, Grades 3 & 4, etc... I truly hope similar apps are in the works for the older set!.Version: 3.0.1

Teach Me KindergartenBrilliant! Easy for my 5 year old to navigate and the reward system keeps her motivated. I like the additional learning concept that requires her to save coins for 'better' rewards (aquarium stuff). The voice of the 'teacher' acknowledges and encourages in a way that is not over the top or gushy, making it a realistic learning experience. Recommends App, in addition to the 1st Grade version too..Version: 3.0.1

Love itLove this app my 4 yr old is learning to read! Would love to see a 3rd grade app made.Version: 3.2

Love itApp which has engaged my 5 yo more than any other i have tried. Answer the questions, receive coins and then go to the shop to buy things has her completely absorbed and she is learning spelling, writing and Maths along the way..Version: 4.0.2

SpEd Teacher, Parent & Grandma of 6I am a SpEd resource teacher and my students truly love this app. One of my Kindergarten boys prefers it to any game he could choose on the tablet. On top of purchasing it for my own class, it is the only app I have gifted to others multiple times. This app teaches the correct way to form letters. (Kindergarten level) This helps to prevent the common problem with reversals. When kids form their b and d correctly they don't have all the issues with confusing those two letters. It may seem petty to force students to form letters a certain way but there is actually a lot of science behind it. Another great feature is the fact that you can customize it. Almost all settings can be adapted for each individual child. Plus each grade level allows you to enter up to 40 separate students. Each student can have their individual settings customized. So if I feel it would be best for my student to enter answers with a keyboard instead of writing, I can set it up that way. I decide how many correct answers each student needs to have to earn a reward and how many times they must answer correctly to be considered mastery. The app collects ongoing data on each student that I can check any time. There are separate topics for Addition, Subtraction, Spelling, and Sight Words for the 1st-grade level but you can turn off any section in order to have your student focus on the areas you want them to focus on. Second-grade has Spelling, Sight Words, Fast Addition, Fast Subtraction, Long Addition, and Long Subtraction. Again you can customize and remove areas you don't want the student to spend time on. Third-grade has Multiplication, Division, Fast Multiplication, Fast Division, Spelling, and Sight Words. Kindergarten has Addition, Subtraction, Spelling, Sight Words and Letter and Number Writing. Lastly , Pre-School has Numbers, Letters, Shapes, Colors, ABC Phonics, and Counting. In every grade level you can choose to leave all topics on or turn some off. As students move up in levels , support is slowly decreased and tasks become more difficult. Students are rewarded using a 'token economy system' where they earn virtual coins that they exchange for virtual fish which they can feed. My students are very motivated by their virtual fish aquarium and love feeding their virtual pets! In addition to all of this, if you purchase the package with all grades you also get the math pack which you can customize for each studentto focus on the basic math skills they need to practice. This is truly my all-time favorite educational app and I highly recommend it!.Version: 4.2.4

British English? My little sister really loves the British Voice on the preschool one if it was possible to get that on the other ones that would just make her day great app otherwise ❤️👌🏻.Version: 4.2.4
