✓ Moneybook is great!Moneybook is my most used apps and simply the best app you can have for managing finances. I am a uni student and have a range of expenses and if you just remember to key each one in as you make it, it makes budgeting ridiculously fun and you can really sit back at the end of the month and have a look at how much you are overspending on certain stuff. ✓ I love it!It's simplicity is refreshing. It keeps enough information to let me know where my money is going, yet not so complex that it becomes cumbersome and I abandon it. I've been using it for almost a year now. Being able to export my data to a spread sheet, and go in and correct previous months are big pluses. It's not to difficult to locate an entry made a week or so ago but how hard will it be finding an entry made 12 months ago? ✓ Very UsefulThis app has been amazing for one main reason: it is so simple to use. I have tried Mint and Cha-Ching and while I do appreciate that Mint (attempts) to automate the process by pulling in information from my bank, it is usually incorrect or a day behind. MoneyBook does a great job of allowing you to track what you spend quickly and see all the information you need at a glance. The user interface is amazing as well and makes finance more fun. But with this it does exactly what I did before on Excel but only I can do it between the checkout counter and my car. Waiting for the next upgrade to support real-time currency exchange. That'd be very useful when you go overseas and want to keep track of your expenditure in your preferred currency. ✓ Almost perfectThis app is really beautifully made and easy to use. The app can export the data to a CSV table, but that table is not perfectly designed. There's only one column for the amount and only a text field says "incomings" or "expenses", so you can't easily calculate a sum. Why don't you either use two separate columns or at least minus for expenses? I'd also like to be able to import data back to the app, just to backup the data. If the app gets deleted or I switch the phone, everything entered would be lost..Version: 0
✓ Nice app but need more featuresThis is my first finance app and I was pleased with this purchase. I find it easy to use and nice UI. However, drop that recurring option. I don't find it useful and please include an option to add previous date. It's good to keep accurate data but the date as well. If we can customized the icons, that will be so cool. I have transaction with long notes and to view each of this, I need to tap on it to view more. Please sort that out, perhaps with a larger view window on the transaction summary. Everything is entered manually, which some people don't like, but I love having complete control over the expense categories. Other apps sometimes incorrectly classify expenses. ✓ Great and simple but lacks just a littleI love this app, the fact that it's simple is the best thing about it. It's not for complex calculations - just for everyday use. I wouldn't use it if it was too complicated. However, I three simple things I'd like added. It would be great to have an in-app calculator so that I don't have to leave the app to work out my numbers. It would be good to be able to create multiple and separate budgets so that I can track the use of two or three bank accounts for example. The last thing is that it would be great to be able to password protect the app, so that if somebody finds my phone they can't immediately access my money info. That's it. It just needs adjustable regular transaction option and, as other users have pointed out, a pin/password option Ok moneybook, I want to give you 5 stars because I LIKE you, I like the interface, the slickness, the speed and stability and the nice, lush graphics. And I WILL give you 5 stars if you release an update which caters for the needs of those people who have taken time to write a review and requested intelligent additions. First: Recurring income and transactions. One MUST be able to input any day of the month. Not everyone is paid on the 1st. In fact I'll wager that the majority of your users aren't paid anywhere near the 1st... Second: The categories are unimaginative and sparse, especially the income page. What about mobile phone bill? Why not even an iPhone bill? Huh? I mean this is an iPhone app, no? And games... And what about credit card payments. Also I want a tax bill category and national insurance category and any other category that you can think of. Make pages of them! Third: How about a yearly breakdown? A history per annum? That could be quite cool. Anyway don't think of this review as over harsh. ✓ Very very good appWas initially quite dubious before trying the app, but as soon as you start using it you realise that it's actually completely brilliant. The simplicity of adding items means it's something you're actually likely to use, and being able to put these items into different categories is surprisingly useful! The budget setting is great as it lets you see how well you're keeping to your budget and how much you have left, and the analysis tools are a stroke of genius! It allows you to see where your money is going, and how you're doing month to month which is hugely useful, and critically it does it all for you, meaning no fuss! The only thing I'd suggest for the app, is to make it so it has a graph of how the different categories compare from month to month, so I can for example see how much I'm spending on food each month, and see any trends that might be going on. A graph that can display multiple categories (where you can choose which to display), on a month by month basis, would make this app perfect, and I would have thought this could be done without compromising the simplicity that makes it such an effective app. Definitely recommend for anybody wanting to keep an eye on their spending! :).Version: 2.3.1
✓ Feature RequestThis is a fantastic app. As a feature request though, I would like to see the monthly budget divided into a sum per day average. The total of any unspent money each day going into a buffer pot as a total and any overspend on the daily average coming out of that buffer pot first then reducing the daily average when the buffer pot is empty. That way I can easily see that if I spend $10 less every weekday I have an extra $50 to spend over the weekend, for example. But thanks, this is a great app so far, with the above functionality it would be absolutely perfect, I would recommend this to everyone, it has really opened my eyes as to where my money goes!.Version: 0

✓ Visually appealing, as well as functionally.This is a great App. With such simple data entry, it's a must-have for "on the go" transaction entry. With an amazing interface, with subtle sounds that could trick you into thinking this was designed by Apple themselves! The developer here deserves Kudos, as you can see the time they have spent on this. My favourite feature is the "Statistics" section, allowing you to see your daily expenditure, encouraging you to get the number lower! The fact that I can't solely rely on this App is that it only allows for a monthly budget. If, like me, you have a quarterly budget, there's currently no way you can achieve this unless you divide your quarterly budget by 4. I'm sure I'm a minority in this situation, however, and this App is certainly worth the money, for the UI alone!.Version: 0

✓ It's great!!!This is one of the better income/expense trackers out there. It's very simple and fast to use. Sure, it would be great to allow weekly/fortnightly budgets. But hey, it's simple to just multiply your wage by 4 or 2 to make it work for a month. It still works well this way. Same with bills, what ever bill is due within the month can be added and repeated. For an expense or income item, you can add a sub-category to the main categories by entering a note, eg Household > mortgage payment (using the notes). I'm not associated with the developers in anyway, I just look at the app's potential and fully experiment with the app. I think this one is great. $4 (au) isn't exactly going to break the bank either. ✓ Almost thereThis app is very easy to use, useful, and had a great interface. It needs to seemingly small changes to make it an excellent app. 1. Customizable catgeries: I only use a third of those they provide, and would really like a finer breakdown of my expenses without remebering that the "baby" category is really health care. (obviously I'm not yet a father) 2. The recurring expenses are great, except they all have a date of the first of the month. I understand that if you're looking at expenses on a monthly basis it shouldn't matter where your recurring expenses are applied, but I would like to be able to schedule them just the same. ✓ Great money app!This is definitely the best money app so far, superb interface with great look and feel. Far easier and quicker to use than other money apps on the App Store that I've used and doesn't over complicate it either. Took me no time to get setup and using every day. ✓ Nicely DoneThe only thing preventing five stars comes down to two issues you might want to look at in an update. First, you need more categories such as gasoline, electric, insurance, tuition, etc. Lumping them together makes it hard to track real budgets. Secondly, on the recuring function, it seems to only add it to my current month. Unless I am doing it wrong? A help tab would be nice. Other than that I like it very much! Great work!.Version: 0
✓ Serious underdogThis app has been a staple of my every day life for years now in keeping me financially out of the red in some real paycheck-to-paycheck college years. Very happy to see it receive the iOS 9 treatment. I've tried numerous apps of this type but the layout and options this provides for at-a-glance balancing and quick type-specific transaction deductions/additions is both beautifully efficient in ways the others aren't. And it isn't account-linked so that you can manually go by individual receipt inputs which is always 100% accurate provided you keep up with it..Version: 2.9.5

However, it's simplicity makes it beautiful and at least for me, I don't need the extra features so I'm very happy with the purchase! ✓ Very happyThis is the best app I bought/ downloaded. I have been using it for 6 months now and it hasn't crashed once. It's so useful! Helps me stay in control of my spendings and have realistic saving goals. It's clean, beautiful, simple and does exactly what it says on the tin. I have tried more 'elaborate' finance apps and nothing worked as good for me as moneybook. Thank you, developers. ✓ Neat, simple appThis is an easy to use app with nice graphics. The only problems I have found so far is that I cannot find out how to delete recurring transactions and I would like to be able to edit the day I am paid as it is not on the last day of the month. Also, I have some recurring incoming payments that I would like to add weekly. Other than these problems, this is a good app.Version: 0
✓ Love itI love this App so far. If I could post recurring charges on days other than the 1st of the month I'd be really happy. The interface is clean, attractive, and easy to use. The ability to see your average daily expenditures and you chart of top spending really helps to put things in perspective. For example, I realized that a lot of last month's cost saving attempts didn't actually save me that much, I also realized that I'm spending a lot more per month than I had originally thought. With this App you can quickly enter the data that matters, so you can actually use it while in line at the grocery store, or leaving a restaurant. ✓ For the newbies...You CAN change the date for recurring transaction, and you can CHANGE the NAMES of the icons!!! Right were the amount is their is a button on either side. One is the date, one is the for renaming the icon. If you want those changes to be shown in graph mode, ask the dev team....Version: 0
