✓ Choice of Cards to PlayThis is a great game! However, when the opponent is cutting a suit, why is it necessary to give them a counter to cut instead of a non-counter. For example: why play an ace instead of a jack in a suit when I know the opponent is cutting in a suit? Also, why give away ur trump suit towards the end of a hand when u have a suit the opponent is cutting only to draw that last trump from the opponents hand? Why not play the suit being cut instead to draw their last trump suit and keep the remaining trump in your hand?.TrevintwhiteVersion: 5.7.2

✓ Game apparently quite unfairI’ve been playing single deck, bidding starts at 15, each side needs at least 10 of 25 counters to score anything. 250 points win. It’s very difficult to win when: 1. Your partner plays and bids poorly while the opponents not only play like experts but each seems to know what the other has: i.e., ‘Unauthorized Information’. Your partner (North) may refuse to bid in the rare case of holding Aces round and an opponent may name a not so good 3 or 4 card suit as trump and find 4, 5, or 6 trumps in other opponent’s hand. Hard to win playing 3 against 1 even when there’s no ‘cheating’! 2. Opponents are dealt far more good hands than you and partner. Sometimes, 8 or 9 out of 10 hands. You’re dealt no good suit and no or one lousy ace so usually either the opponents get bid and you don’t score and if you do bid you get set. Opponents get Aces round and Runs many time more than you and partner do..Jmf301Version: 6.4.0

✓ Programming irritationsGenerally I like this app, but there’s no provision for strategically using tens and kings when they’re the high card. Instead of holding them so they can take a trick, the app ALWAYS uses them as schmears. ✓ PinochleThis game is one of the better card apps however the game seems directed at meld as opposed to power. It needs to have a more equal blend as the opponents as well as partner will bid on very weak hands when they have even minimal meld. It is inconsistent in that I have on several occasions had my partner pass me an ace in an off suit when that ace would have given the partner aces around. Instead, they chose to keep double aces in an off suit and foregoing the 10 extra points. The distribution of point cards and aces is definitely in favor of the opponents. I intentionally shuffled and dealt over 20 times and in each case the opponents were dealt most of the aces, the better playing hands without passing and 19 out of 20 times had doubles in the trump suit making it impossible to have a run or power when leading. I would enjoy it more if there were a way to have the cards more randomly distributed. It seems the game is imprinted in favor of my opponents now and it tends to be more in favor of them the more I play. If you are an avid pinochle player you will most likely scratch your head at some of the plays by the opponents and partner... I have to remind myself that it is a computer program, not interactive..Jet5829Version: 2.4.6

✓ Really.....This is the most “WORTHLESS” app for pinochle I have ever played! Partner is continually playing as if it were your opponent, 95 percent of the time opponents have at least 12 of the 16 aces. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!.Sweeties1423Version: 6.1.0

✓ Not as good as it used to beGameplay has deteriorated in important ways since my last review. In addition to the points offered by others about this, in my opinion it is a mistake for your partner to focus on passing legs of the double pinochle even before trump. Trump (except 9s) just *has* to have precedence in passing, or diamonds and spades are essentially dead suits unless you need a single card (and I can't count how many times I got jacks of diamonds while a needed card for a run in spades remained in my partner's hand). This is backwards. Trump is more important. Period. Secondly, aces are more important than pinochles. My partner has no idea what I've got in my hand, and to pass me what may be garbage cards (jacks and queens if I don't have matching cards for pinochles) when he has trump and aces (both of which are guaranteed to be more valuable for taking tricks) is a mistake. I like the game for the most part, but these points (and those made by others) have become pretty disappointing..KazangoVersion: 2.1.3

✓ Nice game but don’t expect to winThe game is well laid out with plenty of configurations and options for making it the version you are use to playing. But don’t expect to win very often. The reason: your system managed partner does not use the same algorithms for bidding or playing tricks that your competitors use. This can be extremely frustrating some times. It is no where near as aggressive at bidding or calculating when playing tricks than the competing team. and often your partner will make plays that no experienced player would make. So play the game is fine for fun if you don’t mind loosing most of the time and don’t consider it reflective or practice for a real game..Dcb634Version: 7.6.2
