Great addition to my lifeI love this app, use it multiple times a day to take mini breaks. It adds to my spiritual practice in meaningful ways. Great appI'm very thankful to have found this app. It has gelped me a lot with the symptoms of my anxiety and OCD. Best out thereI have been using this app for quite sometime but am hoping the developers add just one thing, Health app integration. There is no way to really track how often you do this so what I am doing is using the Calm app to track my sessions. Although the app itself does track how often you've done one kind of breathe technique (a vague lotus chart with different colors) I never know how often I do it or for how long each session. It would just be helpful information to track..Version: 6.4

Great but doesn't allow background musicThere is a great ambient noise generator I just paid for in order for it to act as background "music" while I used this pranayama app. Unfortunately when i started this app the background noise faded out. For an app that costs $5 I think it should at least let us continue our own sound scape, esp for those of us who live around lots of distracting noise. Otherwise well worth the money! Great app, very useful and medically beneficialHonestly, this is a great app. I was going through a rough time and was seeing a therapist and she taught me deep breathing as part of cognitive behavioral therapy, to help with my depression and anxiety. I've been using this app in conjunction with some gujded meditation apps (rest & relax is great, so is guided insight meditation) and i have seen noticeable improvements to my physical health and mind. Could probably use an option for variable breath lengths (faster to slower to fast again in a random cycle) but as is the app is worth price. Worth every penny - every timeNothing better. I generally stick to custom settings but everything is so well done, I can't think of any improvements. Amazing - My Favorite App!I've been using this app for a few weeks now & have become completely addicted to it. I've had bouts of Insomnia and migraines for years and am frequently tense from stress. I think this has helped in every area. I consistently feel more grounded and calm after each session (similar to the feeling I would get after a cardio workout). Works great againThis is my favorite of all the breathing apps I've tried. There were some programming issues for a few months but they really listen to customer feedback. I only use the Custom section, Vedic sound setting for simple 6:6 or 5:5 to meditate or walk around to. Sounds continue after minimizing the app or locking the screen. I'm guiding my breath to it as I write this review. I'm sure the other parts of this program are great as well so if you're looking to increase your breathing capacity this is also the perfect app for that as well. Very straightforward and a real boost for your health and well-beingI’ve had this app nearly 8 years and have found it to be excellent for improving both mind and body. Thought it deserved more positive reviews. I bought it first for something to help me with depression. The idea being that if I could control my breathing I could control my anxiety. It worked for me over a period of 6 months as I weaned myself off antidepressants. Probably would have been better not being on them in the first place...but this app was very helpful alongside other things I did to get well. Good breathing is necessary for any sport and even walking up the stairs! Doing these breathing exercises with good posture is also good for your posture. I also feel that good breathing is good for mental clarity. I did email the developer asking about adding other breathing techniques that form part of pranayama philosophy but they felt that trying to teach those via an app was too hard and risky. In hindsight I’d agree with them. The benefits from just these basic techniques are pretty good..Version: 8.1

I like all the options for breath timing, and the logs. Feature request- grant these, earn that last star. 1. Add new breath cycle sounds. My gf finds the current schemes annoying, and I find her complaining annoying. 2. Allow setting if multiple, recurring alarms. Then, I'll be reminded to do my breath routine throughout my day. Great support for learning breathing techniquesI tried the free version first and was very impressed. I have the full version so I can create custom patterns in line with my own pranayama practice and progress. I have found learning to control my breath really hard but this has helped a lot. Almost PerfectOnly 2 things missing. 1. Log syncing between devices. I prefer to use the iPad to avoid problem 2. Call interruption on the iPhone; you have to start over and the time spent to that point isn't logged. Breathing, who knewI am a life long mouth breather. A few weeks ago I had a septoplasty to allow me to breathe. I had battled to use this app before as it was not possible to breathe nasally.
