✓ Don't have to be a geniusGreat game. You compete against yourself and can vary the play to keep it interesting. Animals as moxie words, daily challenge etc. or make up your own rules: no passing any letters, no use of letter k and so on. Like that the play is geared to your own pace yet moves quickly to maintain interest. I've never been particularly good at scrabble but this is fun no matter your skill in word games. Sometimes I inadvertently create a word I've never heard of. It would be nice to have a quick link to word definitions..Version: 1.15.1

Moxie-less option is harder than expected, but a great new addition. I still like the original better, but imagine that I will prefer Moxie 2 once I have adjusted. ✓ Love it!!!I was lucky to get this app. for free. I found an advertisement at another website offering this game at no charge. I thought it would probably be lame, but to my surprise, I enjoy it immensely. I am not good enough to be a scorer like others in the 3,4,5,& 6000's, but maybe with some practice, I might get closer to a big score. I like the high scoring options (top 250 get their names on the board) being able to change the letter colors, having 64 letters, the "undo" feature & mostly I like to be able to find out how many of each letter is left as the game unfolds. This game is also fabulous for expanding your vocabulary. For $0.99, it is hard to go wrong on this game & honestly after how much I have enjoyed the game, I would have paid for it if necessary..Version: 0

After the last update which the notes listed as updates to 64 bit for future devices, I can no longer use the app. I now get a message saying the game is not compatible for my device. The first Moxie has been my favorite word game for many months. I never get tired of it. Unbelievably, the developer has improved this great game, adding landscape orientation and other significant options and enhancements. The "Undo" button is a nice touch. In an App Store full of half-baked games and useless apps, it is refreshing to have games like Moxie and Moxie 2, which are so polished and fun. ✓ A few suggestionsFirst of all, I love this game!! I have a couple ideas: I'd like to be able to see a list of all the Moxie words I created (even if it's not until the end of the game). I also think it would be really fun if we got bonus points for completing an entire game without a Twaddle. I don't think I've ever actually accomplished a Twaddle-less game before... But if I got bonus points for it, I'd definitely be in for the challenge. A list of all the Twaddles at the end of the game would be fun to see too. Along with a total of how many points lost. ✓ One of the few scrabble type Games that is fully accessible with VoiceOverI love love love this game. It is the only Scrabble type game that I have found that is accessible with the iPhone's screen reader, VoiceOver. I actually like the layout of the original Moxie better because it is In portrait mode, and I prefer portrait over landscape. However, this version of Moxie is very accessible, and Voiceover performs very well with it. All elements are clearly labeled, and there is no difficulty in navigating the screen. My only suggestion is that in the tutorial, as the letters are being placed to form words, the developer verbally announce them as they are being placed. This would be especially helpful to a blind user new to Moxie. But otherwise, it is a fabulous game, and Chris has done an excellent job of making it usable for everyone. As a real estate broker I spend a lot of time waiting - during open houses, at the title company, at the county, etc. and I love having my apps available to play during all of that downtime. I really enjoy Scrabble, Texas Hold 'Em and Peggle - but Moxie 2 is by far my favorite. I love words and Moxie 2 brilliantly integrates challenge, strategy and pure luck - I like "Moxieless" the best as you can build any word(s) and attempt to manipulate the board in the direction you want it to go....or just go along with where the letters take you. ✓ Ingenious and addictiveI have to admit that at first I wasn't sure whether I'd like Moxie 2. I'm more of a word geek than a strategy fan (give me a game of Boggle over a game of chess any day) and so the talk of the importance of strategic play made me slightly nervous. But I decided to take the plunge based on the massive number of positive reviews... and I'm extremely glad I did. Moxie really is unique - quite unlike any word game I've ever come across. As such, I admit it took me a little while to get the hang of it. But once I'd grasped the concept and developed some basic techniques I couldn't stop playing - I now play at least once each day. ✓ Wordalicious!I noted the rating, and thought I'd give it a try. Well, I must say that it's unique, challenging and fun. A little of scrabble; a little of Boggle, and a little Moxie! The Moxie words add a new dimension to just making words. I got the free version first, and that was enough to prompt me to get the Moxie2. Try the free version, and you'll want to upgrade. I kept wondering how all these people were getting such high scores! With Moxie 2, you make longer words, which is a whole new challenge. You can't always just stick the S at the end right away, because you can make more two-syllable words. The only thing-- it freezes here and there. All I can do is download it again. Sometimes it fixes itself, but lately, I just have to delete the app and re-download. It's not the end if the world, but a tad irritating. If thats the worst thing that happens, i think i'll live. Im unemployed, so I'd say in the scheme of things, I'll get by. Well worth the two bucks!.Version: 1.11

✓ If you are on the fenceIf you are on the fence about whether or not to upgrade to Moxie 2, there is no question in my mind that you should do it. You can make 6 letter words, see how many letters you have, and see the Moxie words, giving you lots of ways to strategize and up your points. My personal favorite is the Daily Challenge, because I like having a set of words to start with. I end up making new moxie words, ones I wouldn't necessarily use when I am starting from scratch. There are lots more opportunities to improve your strategy in this version..Version: 0
