✓ Works perfectly, nearly 5 stars !It's very easy to note everything (record, picture, written, drawing) as it's all on the same page and you see the pics where your inserted it instead of an attachement... It's so useful to be able to write on the picture to illustrate what you mean in your notes. As you can erase only the section you want in your note, it's easy to review or modify any past ideas... The only thing missing to make a perfect 5 stars app for me would be to be able to locate on a map where my notes have been taken. Excellent start and I will definitly buy the full version..Version: 0
✓ Nice Design !Love the design of the app. We can record voice or take pictures from within the app. It would be cool to be able to zoom pictures. I often take pics of documents but I cannot read them if I do not zoom. That would be a good upgrade. Bought the full version anyway :-).Version: 0
✓ Great idea!Great stuff - the ability to combine text, free-form drawing and pictures (including any screenshot from your own gadget - maps, etc) is brilliant. Still discovering new ways of using it. I thought the delete function was pretty clever - being able to delete text/lines/pics as separate bits within a note - though other reviewer thought button was too close to the delete whole note button. You can draw lines OVER text and pics but you can't insert text over drawings - maybe a future mod? Great stuff!.Version: 0

✓ Perfect for the iPhone PlatformThis app is a great idea. It seems the perfect software for a portable platform that has a camera and a really great touchscreen. I would love to upgrade to the paid version (and I'd pay more than $1.99) but I really would like to see pen width and color settings. And perhaps make the prompt for using my location go away. It's not clear why the app wants to know that and unless there's a really good reason it's just plain annoying..Version: 0
✓ PerfectThis is perfect. Simple. Not bloated. All functions DO WORK in lite version and I DO NOT mind the watermark in lite version because it's LITE! I never would have tried this if it didn't have a lite version and now, after trying lite versions of many note apps, over a couple months, I'm BUYING this one. It's perfect. I will finally delete the other lite versions of note apps and put this one on my home page. Finally. Drawing-line thickness, colors, email, save to photos, audio. IMPRESSIVE!!!! although this app is missing some fancy features that other note taking apps have, mental notes has exceled in some other vital REAL note taking aspects that i think no other note taking apps in the app store has, and it has done it very very well... it blew me away! firstly, being able to TRUELY embed a mix of words, audio and drawing, and i mean, REALLY mix, most apps can embed drawing but the drawings are seperate attachments, in mental notes, the drawings can intrude and mix with the words, and secondly, notes can be exported as photos into the photo alburm, or as a picture into an email, or even as a pdf into an email, and with pdf export, the words in the notes can be selected in the pdf even if the drawing is mixed with it... now THIS is impressive... i think i have no choice but to buy the full version! :-).Version: 0
✓ Great!I just wanted an app that would allow me to take photos of hand written notes and cross them off manually. This app does exactly that, and you are not limited to the photos you can add in one note. No crashing, either. If you don't like it, delete it. It's a FREE app. Think of it as a little gift. Of course it doesn't do everything the full version does; otherwise, why would anyone buy the full version? (Compare to the concept of a test drive. You get to take it for a spin, but that doesn't mean you get to keep it.) I, on the other hand, am totally digging it and will probably upgrade. ✓ Busy Mind!I have a lot of thoughts going thru my head all of the time and I usually like to keep a pen and pad somewhere near my usual thinking places, but then I have small notes everywhere and the thoughts I thought I was saving become lost among the papers. Sooo I found this app while frustrated by my influx of thoughts (end of month at work, end of semester in school, and beginning of summer which means setting out goals)... Let's just say this app was the RELIEF my mind needed. I can put it all out in drawings or typing or any of their other options and it's all down in the same place available for review on a object that's always with me, my phone sure my brains always with me but not always so organized. THANK YOU for the lite version for me to try out! I am looking to purchase a decent notes app and this is at the top so far. ✓ Missing just one thing for 5 stars ...I really love this Notes replacement! Even though I haven't used any of the multimedia features yet, even the text and fingerwriting capabilities alone put Notes to shame. I would just really, really love to see one more crucial feature: Just like there is for new SMS messages, e-mails, and missed calls, there needs to be an option to have a badge on the program icon showing how many notes are saved so that I don't forget about important notes saved within the app. I would gladly pay to have this feature.
