✓ Love it!!!I have been looking for a good poker app for a while, and now I have one. The interface is simple to understand, pleasantly laid out, and, in addition, is very nice to look at. The fact that it is multiplayer enabled through game center is also great. My only gripe is that I can only play with one other person. I would love to be able to play with four or more, however I realize that this idea is probably a complex networking problem. Anyways, great app. I hope to see more great things..Version: 4.2

✓ Solid heads up multiplayer holdemThis game is no-frills but gets the job done. The in-app upgrade to get more chips is well worth it. I like that only one player has to pay for the upgrade to play with deeper stacks. The interface works well although it's a bit counter-intuitive to learn. Once you figure it out you can play hands very quickly. Would be 5 stars with fewer dropped gamecenter games and either a tutorial mode or in-game hints to explain the mechanics of betting, folding and showing. Would also be nice to show mucked hands sometimes. And buttons to quickly make common bets relative to pot size would speed things up significantly. Haven't tried single player yet, this review is specifically about heads-up multiplayer. I wanted an app so I could play heads up with friends without having to shuffle physical cards and this app is excellent in that regard..Version: 4.2

✓ Great poker game!This is a great poker game for what it is designed to be! Obviously, it would be nice to have the option to play a full tournament with more than one opponent, but you can't fault this app for what it wasn't meant to do. The AI is extremely well designed, with each "opponent" having different styles and tendencies. Some opponents are a bit easier to play against because their styles are a little more extreme and easier to predict, but I haven't noticed any obvious glitches that allows you to "cheat" and know for certain what the opponent will do. The heads-up format of this app allows the user to play many short games and remain engaged and interested for long periods of time if so desired, and it also allows for one quick game while you're on the can (which i do on a nearly daily basis) or between innings of a Twins game. This is a great app and I would definitely purchase an app made by the same writers that features full tournaments or at least a full table of players. Purchase with confidence, but make sure you realize that this app only features heads-up (one-on-one) play!.Version: 0
✓ This is the poker app I have been waiting for!I've always wanted a poker app to play heads up poker against a friend. With the size of the ipad and this fantastic app, you can do that now. The graphics are nice and not distracting and the play is intuitive. You can play against a friend (using your hand to cover up your cards as you peak at them) OR you can play against the AI. There are multiple AI opponents, each with their own style. The AI is very well done - you never know if they are bluffing or value betting. 5 stars!.Version: 0

When playing against other people on poker apps you feel that they will call you no matter what because they are playing with fake currency. This game solves that. The mechanic to cover your cards just like you would in a real game is great and will no doubt be used in more card games in the future. The free version of the app ramps up the blinds pretty quickly, but it's still a fun game of poker. We wanted the blinds to move slower, so we paid the $5 upgrade price, which is very reasonable, considering what you get. Also, I was prompted "Are you sure you want to pay" for the upgrade when I clicked the button. The card protector unlock system is fun as well. Certainly one of the few well designed 2 player, 1 iPad games out there (Uno is terrible). Highly recommended!.Version: 0

In heads up play, if you expect to win 60 or 70 percent of hands played you're either dreaming or playing some really poor opponents. Does the computer opponent get lucky? Sometimes. On the other hand, I've seen the computer make some pretty outrageous bets on risky calls. That's not the way to program a cheating app..Version: 4.4.1

I couldn't get the Bluetooth to work between my iPad and 3 different iPhones I tried but WAS able to connect and play against 2 other iPads. It was probably something I was doing wrong. Bet sizing can be a little finicky and I might like to see some other type of interface for it, maybe just a plain slide bar? When playing over Bluetooth I would like the option to keep my hole cards hidden to test my memory and also in case my opponent sees my display. Great app, thanks!.Version: 4.0.4

However, when upgrading to "more AI" that just means more to choose from for a 1v1 and not a multi person game like I had thought.
