✓ A good app, but with a whole bunch of bugsSumming up this game - it's a great app if you want to play a quick game of poker against an okay AI opponent (when you're on the bus, or just have ten minutes free). There's some really good interface decisions (even if it's a little ugly at times) and a really brilliantly thought out mode for two players sharing a single iPad. But there are some *major* faults with the game, detailed below: The slider interface you use for setting your bet has too much inertia to it - placing a minimum bet is an exercise in frustration, as half the time the slider rolls back to the left and you end up checking. There's a bluetooth mode for playing head to head on local devices, which should be great. But frankly, I'm not sure anyone ever tested it, it's so unbelievably buggy. In the couple of games we played, we found: • It often 'missed' one of our actions - meaning that player 1 would make a bet, while player 2's device had no idea this had happened. The only thing you can do in this situation is fold to move on to the next round - which can obviously ruin a game pretty easily. • The two devices had completely different ideas about what game we were playing - at one point, the blinds / minimum bets were ten times higher on one device than on the other! • There were also a bunch of visual bugs - on several occasions, a new round would have my opponents cards dealt face up (although they were always the cards from the previous round, rather than their actual cards). Overall, it's okay - probably worth the price of the full app, and definitely worth downloading the lite version. But with a bit of polish, it could be great..Andi FarrVersion: 0

✓ Smart AI - No it is not!!!This is the second game to have a smart AI that isn't that smart, it just gets lucky (wink wink). If I got as many straights or flushes as it does I would be a WSOP champion 5 times over. Don't buy this if you like to lose. The game never folds a bad hand and when I go all in the game will alway match the bet regardless of the hand it holds. It does bet aggressively but I have found it has no relation to the game's hand. If I have a respectable hand and go all in the games usually loses. ✓ Ai needs workSo how do I play 4 straight rounds, where I folded every hand until I ran out of money 4 times, where my first 2 cards are unsuited, not pairs, and not consecutive and no higher than a 9 (so like a 3 of hearts and 7 of spades)? Maybe a few hands, but that was more like 35 or 40 hands in a row. The odds of that happening in real life have to be astronomical. On another game, I was dealt 9 of spades Q of diamonds 3 hands in a row. There is definitely some problem with randomization. The game also has a problem in landscape mode where sometimes it does not show your cards. You can hear and see the deal, and can see the other player's cards, but you have no visible cards or chips. To fix it you have to turn the iPad to portrait mode for that hand then can turn it back - took me little while to figure that out. Overall when it all works I can see how it could be a fun little app but as it sits it is highly frustrating..Deacon195909Version: 0

The blinds and stack sizes do not say synced in the full version. It's unplayable. we played the free version and loved t so bought the full version. Game says only one person needs the full version to play with the other features. While it star correctly, the game quickly gets out of sync with your opponent and becomes no longer playable. ✓ So-SoI love playing Hold 'em on the Blackberry Bold, so I was hoping for a poker app on the iPad. Visually, this one is great - it's very pretty to look at, which I appreciate. However, I have 3 issues with it: 1) One on one poker is just...not as fun as playing poker with at least three others. 2) The "strategy" and luck of the cards for the computer player isn't the best, as mentioned by other reviewers. 3) I don't like the process of betting - it doesn't feel intuitive.
