✓ Fix!!Good old skill game but controls lag and it crashes every time you end a level. You have to start back at square one. Kind of annoying, please fix!!.Version: 2.8.1
✓ Controls' inputsThe app seems to not be able to accept more than one instruction at the same time, e.g. it is not possible to move forward and rotate. This makes the game redundant. If the controls were as Doom or Doomsday (same monsters as this game which is odd: if this game is made by the same folk as Doomsday, why do the controls not work like they do in Doomsday?), I'd pay money for it..Version: 2.8.1

✓ Get the ads out!Whenever I touch the move stick I accidentily click the ads all over the place! And also these random ads pop up in the middle of the game then when I try to shoot I end up clicking the ad and I have to start over! ✓ Nice try but it's a total doom cloneIf you are looking for a doom experience just get the official port for iPhone, iPod touch. In the free one there's a ad by the shooting button and I find myself pressing the ad and causing to shut my game off. ✓ I Love Doom!!!!For all the idiots; it's supposed to look like Doom. For those curious; it's awesome. The controls are better than on Eliminate, and it's waaaay more fun to play. The graphics aren't the best, but hey, remember the graphics in Doom? For a handheld fps it's not bad at all. Give it a try, and if ya like it; spend the dollar for the full version. P.S. ✓ Doom clone. A mediocre one at that.This game is ok. The controls are good and I like the enemies. But I think that it still needs work, the graphics aren't that good and nothing out of it is original in gameplay and design. If I was looking for a good fps on the App Store, I would get doom, wolfenstein 3D, and dead trigger. Not this game. If you are looking for a fps on the App Store, go get doom. ✓ Good effortIt's an absolute copy of Doom, but well done. I hope to see more demos, minus the copied code that ID spent almost forever writing. If you did write the code, and do this 3d engine, then you are 20 years late! Even the textures, mapping, position of the HUD, sprites, map design, everything is all too familiar. ID have made their money on it, so lets hope they won't be bothered about this clone. I do like it, but just hate the advert. I'd just write in a 10s "splash screen" and put the advert on there, and maybe one on the map in the game. Not where you will be bothered about it. It interferes with the controls..Version: 2.8.1

✓ A case study in ruining a great gameOK, lets get the elephant in the room out of the way; Yes, this is just Doom with different maps and swapped sprites/sounds. And hey, that's fine, Doom is still a great game. No problem here. And it's really not badly designed from what I've seen, the maps are fine and the new sprites are OK. All good. So why one star? I have never known an otherwise cool-looking game be ruined so thoroughly by its controls. They are absolutely awful. There are 3 control schemes, and none work. What's the main combat tactic in Doom? That's right: circle strafing. You can attack and dodge enemy shots. Makes sense! It's impossible with the default controls. Left "stick" walks forward/ back and turns, there's no way to strafe. The second and third control sets in theory allow this... Except they've implemented the controls in such away that they aren't multi-touch! You can only use one "stick" at a time! This is totally absurd. If it sounds minor, try it out, it's just awful. Even aside from this, the controls are terrible. Sometimes you can only rotate one way. Sometimes you try to use one stick, and the games registers it as the other. Sometimes, often, your attempts to fire or activate things misregister as turns. There is, as far as I can see, no way to change weapons. It's a shame, because if not for the control issues I could totally see this being a 4 star game. But this one aspect is executed so, *so* poorly it renders the whole game nigh-unplayable. First off, you only have 2 functioning maps. 2 of the other maps drop you in a small square room with no way out and no enemies where you can't do anything. The other has 2 enemies. It dosen't last long. Secondly, it would be nice to be able to Jump and look up and down. Lastly, when you choose two of the maps where you can do something, when you kill the 5-15 enemies, they don't spawn more. Also, in the game they don't teach you how do do anything.Version: 2.8.1

✓ It's Free Doom.I tried this out and thought eh it's alright, needs some work etc then I got on my PC and wanted to see what DOOM wads I haven't played, I booted up free doom phase 1 and 2, turns out hell on earth is taking free doom which is free online and making you pay for it, I was surprised at the differences, mainly they changed some weapon sprites and minor enemy sprites, everything else is from free doom itself, sounds and all. If you want to play this with better controls and everything then download either GZDoom or zandorium and get yourself free doom, you'll have a better experience than this horrible port..Version: 2.8.1

✓ How? Why?!!?!So I loved Doom for the iPhone and when I saw Hell On Earth, I was keen to play a Doom clone. What I don't get is how the developer could have stuffed up the controls so badly- they used the Doom engine!! They already had a good, functioning control system!!! The Hell On Earth controls are unresponsive, unpredictable and sometimes the even stick, and your character is left spinning around on the spot. Why ruin a good thing?!!? ....
